Being a bio-electrokinetic, one side of his powers means that Charge can encourage growth in flowers and plant life with a light, electrical charge.

When he and Silver run across a field that has been torn up and destroyed by Eggman’s robots, the hedgehog is understandably upset since it was once a very pretty field.

Charge can still sense life below the surface, and in the hopes of cheering up his friend, he extends his power to help some of those struggling seedlings grow and bloom, until a full patch of flowers and grass has been restored.

“See? There’s always hope. Even in places ravaged by war and destruction, life will always find a way to grow anew and flourish.”

"Researchers using Murriyang, CSIRO's Parkes radio telescope, have detected unusual radio pulses from a previously dormant star with a powerful magnetic field.

The paper, "Linear to circular conversion in the polarized radio emission of a magnetar," published in Nature Astronomy describe radio signals from magnetar XTE J1810-197 behaving in complex ways.

Magnetars are a type of neutron star and the strongest magnets in the universe. At roughly 8,000 light years away, this magnetar is also the closest known to Earth.

Most are known to emit polarized light, though the light this magnetar is emitting is circularly polarized, where the light appears to spiral as it moves through space."

""Our results suggest there is a superheated plasma above the magnetar's magnetic pole, which is acting like a polarizing filter," Dr. Lower said.

"How exactly the plasma is doing this is still to be determined.""

#you can indeed touch them #automatic rapid transport to hospital #AED is very very important in that if you feel an irregular pulse you need to zap it back into its normal rhythm asap #after the primary assessment try to look for electric burns on the body during rapid body search #if the electricity cooked them on the inside keep extra watch over the body temperature. keep warm but dont overheat and cause more dammage

op: <3 hours of sleep, refreshing the EHR to see if the guy she coded for 30 minutes last night is still alive, just ate half a pint of icecream, going back to work in 4 hours and somehow still writhing in guilt for not putting out a fanfic chapter in >1 month

#he did live. i'm. very surprised #i think the issue is that that automatic CPR device kept sliding to his right so we were not getting adequate cardiac contact #because when we switched back to manual compressions around min 20 we started getting monomorphic VT and a shockable rhythm #got pulses back pretty soon after. and he's relatively neurologically intact.#it was a little weird because he is a cardiogenic shock pt who has no further treatment options and i was literally about to call it #i'm just curious because i think it was a cardiac event. of some sort. in-stent thrombosis maybe? but he's already s/p PCIx3 #he had a PE earlier in the hospitalization but it was teeny tiny and his RV looked ok-ish on echo #certainly not bad enough to be in 4-pressor shock #maybe just good old VF/VT due to severe heart failure and myocardial injury resulting in ischemia to the electrical system #anna you might say #you literally complain EVERY TIME you're on night shift.#you know you're like... voluntarily doing this to yourself right?#....... :(#what is my life if not constant self-flagellation?#ok i'm gonna go lay down will keep you updated with what the dude's cath shows

#I thought of editing around the icons but 🙏 I do not wish to mess up the artist's art with my messy editing. plus it would be rude to do #so it's a food for thought for you all! for sure I will use shots of long braids for icons in the future if relevant #whether you haven't followed my scaramouche before I would like to elaborate more about the hair! ❤️#I always thought ei makoto and kabu should have more inhuman traits. so I thought of slimes #just as Anemo slimes have wings and Geo have shields #I thought of Ei Makoto and Kabukimono to have tendrils kn their hair. kinda like wires that store and channel electricity. send pulses #Electro slimes have such tendrils on top of them. sending out pulses of certain polarity #Kabukimono for sure used his hair to heal Niwa's calloused hands. he could technically treat not serious wounds too as electricity actually #helps with healing etc! so he'd be that more support/healing oriented Electro user/elemental as opposed to Ei
