Dagoth Ur has been defeated, the blight has been lifted from Red Mountain, and now the race to reclaim the lost village and ebony mine of Hasimminus has begun, for today's Morrowind Mod of the Day is The Reclamation of Hasimminus Mine by Team Nordic Chefs, a quest, dungeon, and town mod where you'll not only get to delve through a fairly sizable and atmospheric dungeon, but where your Great House allegiance will directly affect what comes after, whether a new town will be built in the style of the Hlaalu, Telvanni or Redoran. Another incredibly unique entry for the 2018 season of Morrowind Modding Madness, The Reclamation of Hasimminus Mine managed to accomplish quite a bit for a mod built in a mere two weeks, with an enjoyable new dungeon and quest to play through as well as, essentially, three entire towns that could be built as a result of your actions. While the mod does have a few bugs, and could really use a post-Madness content update, The Reclamation of Hasimminus Mine is one of the better dungeon and town mods to be released for a Madness competition, and it is still well worth checking out and playing for yourself!

I've come back to Skyrim recently, and finaly got around to play Vigilant ! And I must admit it's a cool mod, not without flaws (people on ytb definetly oversold it to me), but after playing act 1 and 2, I can say it's pretty solid :)

Only problem...

My dragonborn is a conjurer/necromancer, and...

He's gay af. This mod is very edgy and tragic, but damn am I not playing the right character for it- (but hey at least I'm having fun)

Debut: Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

What a normal guy. A very normal crocodile. And that's why it's weird! This normal crocodile works alongside the rest of the Kremlings, who walk on two legs, and wear clothes, and sometimes even wear nipples. I guess I can't prove that Krockhead does NOT do all these things under the water, but that sort of assumption would just be silly. And why would I be silly? No one's paying me to be silly. I need a believable motivation here.

Krockheads are said to be "primitive" Kremlings, which I think pretty much cements them just being sort of Regular Crocodiles. And look, there they are! In The Swamp. Classic location! They are not really enemies, just Fun Aesthetic Platforms, though some of them do go in and out of the water. Also some of them are in lava instead of water! GEEET outta there! Biology Fact: animals can't go in lava! If they touch it, they are shot up at high speed going "yeowch! hachacha hot!"

Aside from Classic Green, Krockhead also comes in Good Ol' Brown! These ones are silly springboards, and will open their mouths to launch whatever Kong stands on their snouts. This is the opposite of real crocodilians, who for all their bite strength, are notoriously weak at actually opening their mouths! Maybe this is a viable hunting strategy. I guess a predator does not need to crush prey in its jaws if it can fling a poor critter into the air and have it most likely die on impact! And then an opportunistic scavenger does not need ANY hunting capability to swoop in and steal the kill for itself. Sorry Krockhead! Outdone by Nature's Funny Tricks.

I really hope Krockheads are just not at all anthropomorphic, and that they are also recognized members of the Kremling Army. I hope they get paid. I hope they receive discounts at Krazy Kremland which they do not redeem because they do not have a concept of amusement parks.

A cursed gauntlet, a quest for vengeance, and Daedric exorcisms are the basis for today's Mod of the Day, which today is the unfortunately named The Hand by JackimoffWackimoff. A unique quest mod submitted for the 2023 Morrowind Winter Modjam, The Hand adds a new quest for you to discover in the cantons of Vivec, where you'll stumble across a mysterious Daedric gauntlet. Picking up this curious piece of armor will result in a minor Daedra possessing your right hand, forcing you to go on an adventure to an otherworldly dimension and either vow loyalty to the Hand or seek to excise it through cinematic battle. Coming in 2nd place in the 2023 Winter Modjam, The Hand is certainly a unique experience, and while it is a bit short, it's definitely worth checking out for yourself!

A few months ago I saw a mod that converted Preston Garvey into an intelligent super mutant. On the one hand, I think that's actually a really really interesting thing to have Preston Garvey be, right, because that would position the last minuteman standing, the die-hard-idealist-to-the-end, as A.) the default quintessential boogeyman of everyone he's dedicated his life to protecting in a way that textures that dedication in an interesting way, B.) very directly a victim of the Institute in a way that would bring the Minutemen victory ending full circle, and C.) The first Super Mutant the player would encounter, when playing as a character who has no other context for Super Mutants. All of which would be very interesting things to play with. On the other hand I strongly doubt that any of that was really the project here, given the context of the broader (unjustified) Preston Garvey Hate train.

every time I try to find good mods for bethesda properties the listicles are always

1. MASSIVE COMBAT OVERHAUL. Are you tired of dying 50 times an hour? This is the mod for you. With PenisPaladin’s Killer Death March mod, you can die 500 times an hour instead!

2. and add on a survival mode to Killer Death March. if you don’t drink water at all times and find a safe place to piss it out, uhhhh die!

3. Ambient Atmospheric PC Murderer Mod. This mod sure would look cool if you had the latest NVIDIA graphic card, even though the game was made fifteen years ago. Don’t try it on a three year old graphics card! Your computer will sizzle.

4. Bigger Deathclaws. ‘nuff said.

5. Unofficial Patch. If you don’t have this, nothing will work. Literally nothing.

6. Improved Character Models. The men are so grizzled you can’t see their faces anymore. The women’s skin is so dewy and flattened they look like Odo from Deep Space Nine with giant false eyelashes and Kardashian lips.

7. This cool added questline! We won’t be warning you it looks and sounds like it was written by a fifteen-year-old misogynist who is SO excited to use the word “bitch” and add strip clubs to the world.

8. Skip a main quest. (Note: this will probably glitch out and break your game!)

9. Cool Sword. cool sword.

10. You know how the UI sucks? Here’s a thing that works when it works but if the load order is off or it’s just being capricious, it don’t work. you’ll use it anyway. because the vanilla UI sucks.
