So I know I'm late to the party. But I just recently taken up to watching Glee and ummmm, I have a genuine question.

Are we the audience supposed to like Rachel?

Cause at 1st she kinda came off as the main character and I feel like creators tend to want the audience to like the main character. But they also make it where you can see the teacher as the main character which I kinda prefer since I actually like his character so far. But I just don't like Rachel. Pick-me engery, 'Im the best' energy but not in a fun way, flip-floppy, and more that I don't really know how to word. And it's nothing against the actress, she does wonderful. But just..... is the audience supposed to like the character?????

Cause she's not a likeable character. Like I genuinely preferred the drunk blonde lady around the season 1 finale over Rachel cause at least the drunk lady was consistent. But yeahhhhhh.

I think we can all agree that the cheer coach is the best character and the actress who plays her is absolutely fantastic!!!!! Quality casting, writing and acting with Sue!!!! I fucking love Sue and her energy, she's prob why I like the show.
