The Healer’s Vow: Master-Post 🧝🏾‍♀️
Tumblr media
Welcome, fellow dark fantasy enthusiasts, to the master post for The Healer’s Vow which has been an exhilarating adventure to write, filled with intense emotional moments, rich and exhausting world-building, and deep character development. If you're drawn to the relentless pursuit of justice, the intricate web of political relationships, or the clash of light and dark magic, check it out for yourself!
Before we dive into the enthralling synopsis and detailed character profiles, it is important to acknowledge that "The Healer’s Vow" contains themes that may be triggering for some readers. The story includes scenes of SA, specifically an assault on Adisa, the MC which is central to her transformation into the Nightshade Sorceress. These scenes are handled with sensitivity, aiming to convey the profound impact of such events on the characters’ lives and their subsequent quests for vengeance and redemption. Reader discretion is advised.
Genres:
• Dark Fantasy
• Epic Revenge Tale
• Mythological Adventure
Synopsis (Prologue & Descriptions of Ch. 1 & 2):
In the medieval heart of Syrithya, the quaint-idyllic village of Zyx is unexpectedly shattered by a brutal attack from corrupt noblemen. Adisa, a dedicated healer among the villagers, is accused of witchcraft due to the central power of the nobility's ignorance. Adisa learned her healing spells, herbology, and archaic affinities from her mother before she passed. She raises her younger sister Victoria all on her own with the help of the village of course. They live somewhat peaceful lives with everyone. Yet, just about 20 miles north, the Nobility looms, in the armory room getting eager to plunder, pillage, murder, etc. all to maintain and enforce the Leader of the Noblemen's rule.
So they descended upon her village in the dead of night. Throwing everyone from their homes onto the surrounding dirt. Before gathering them all to falsely accuse Adisa of being a wielder of the dark arts... not yet anyway. Wink. But this is all an excuse for the nobles to indulge in their own sick perversions. So, before she is almost "executed," she is unable to protect her sister nor does know her whereabouts causing a rising feeling of anxiety and dread in the bellies of her stomach; the nobility snatches her up in a matter of seconds after seeing her use her spells and healing to help. Adisa is forced to endure a harrowing SA at the hands of the noblemen: Sir Gregory, Lord Eran Harkam, Baron Radomir Valtierra, and Sir Oryn Ghael. They left her to freeze to death since now her clothes lay torn around her. If that wasn't enough, they burned her entire village to the ground, pillaging to their heart's content.
The aftermath was nothing short of a horrific scene, the body of her 10-year-old sister Victoria is the catalyst for her sanity break. The profound shock, grief, and rage culminating in that desolate moment ignite a devious transformation, she lets out chillingly devastating blood-curdling screams that wail through the forest for miles to go, as she holds and cradles the light of her life as if she were willing her back to life.
"Wake up, Vic.. wake UP!" she pleaded through her tears.
"This isn't real, This can't be real!"
"It's just a nightmare, Addi. We will wake up soon.."
The surrounding forest, even the ground itself responds to her cries enveloping her in this dark cloud as she emerges as the Nightshade Sorceress, wielding dark powers she'd never imagined. Her journey from healer to sorceress is marked by the consuming darkness within her, a stark contrast to the life she once knew. The tranquility of her village was replaced by the haunting memories of violence and loss, pushing her towards a path of vengeance that she embraces with relentless determination. She tried to revive her sister after realizing she has some connection to the afterlife. It didn't... work. Forcing her into the Healer's Vow, her solitary promise herself until she has succeeded, 'all I need is vengeance,'
"This is my vow. To the villagers of Zyx, to Rick, to... Adisa." barely escaped her lips as a solitary tear fell from her cheek. I promise you all; that Sir Gregory, Lord Eran Harkam, Baron Radomir Valtierra, and Sir Oryn Ghael will fall. Each of them is responsible, each one of them, All I need is retribution; those bastards will pay for what they took from me...from us, V."
She held Victoria's favorite doll in her hand, the loss of pure innocence made her lose all of her own in a matter of seconds. She was all alone. This was her shedding Adisa and burying her in Zyx, with Victoria, fully embodying Kirjani, a name of great potential.
'I am, Kirjani the Nightshade Sorceress...'
Driven by a burning desire for vengeance, Adisa embarks on a quest to hunt down the men who destroyed her life. Along her path, she reunites with Rick, her first love and fellow survivor of the attack. They dated for a very short while when they were teenagers, but now their bond is one of deep friendship and mutual dependence, especially after the attack. At this point in the story, Rick is all Kirjani has left so, to establish Rick can never leave her side again, Adisa transforms him into an immortal Shadow Walker through a dark elixir. Rick's new abilities allow him to move unseen in the shadows, making him an invaluable ally. He becomes the Diablo to Kirjani's 'Maleficent' and their bond deepens as they navigate their complex feelings about the dark magic that binds them, and Rick’s sarcastic humor and resilience provide a counterbalance to the growing darkness within Kirjani.
Their journey through Syrithya was a tumultuous one, it took them about 4 months to even reach brings them to Raelin, a fierce warrior with her own vendetta. Raelin’s village was also destroyed by the same noblemen, and she seeks justice with the same fervor as Adisa. Her fiery spirit and strategic mind make her a formidable ally and a source of strength for Adisa. Raelin's presence challenges Adisa to find hope and love amidst their journey of darkness. The bond between these three warriors deepens, creating a formidable trio determined to bring justice to the corrupt nobility. Raelin's tactical brilliance and unwavering determination add a new dynamic to their quest, forcing Adisa to confront her own vulnerability and the possibility of redemption amidst the shadows of her past.
As the trio plots their revenge, each confrontation with the noblemen becomes a test of Adisa’s resolve and power. Rick, grappling with his feelings about the dark magic that saved him, finds himself torn between his loyalty to Adisa and his own moral compass. This tension peaks as Rick grows closer to Lena, a newcomer with her own shadowy abilities and a past marked by similar atrocities. Lena’s necromantic powers and her struggle to balance them with her healing nature reflect the ongoing theme of light versus dark. She is a resilient and introspective character, often caught between her desire for revenge and her innate compassion. Lena's presence in the group forces them all to confront their inner demons and the duality of their nature, as they navigate the complexities of their relationships and their shared mission of vengeance.
Meanwhile, Alaric, the ruler of Syrithya, grows increasingly paranoid as the threat of the Nightshade Sorceress looms larger... and closer. His desperation to maintain control leads him to implement brutal measures, further showcasing the corrupting influence of power. Alaric’s tall, imposing stature and sharp, calculating eyes reflect his authoritative and ruthless nature. Unbeknownst to him, his wife Harmony secretly plots her own rise to power. Harmony’s cunning and deceitful nature make her a formidable adversary. She is beautiful in a cold, calculated way, with flawless features and an air of superiority. Her manipulative schemes add layers of intrigue and betrayal to the story. The interplay of power and deception within Alaric's court highlights the fragile nature of his rule and sets the stage for the ultimate confrontation between the forces of darkness and light.
The climactic battle against Alaric’s forces culminates in a shocking betrayal within his ranks, setting the stage for an even greater conflict. As Adisa navigates the treacherous political landscape that follows, she must reconcile her dark powers with the compassion that once defined her, all while new threats loom on the horizon. The journey from vengeance to redemption is fraught with peril, as Adisa and her allies confront their deepest fears and the shadows of their past. The final confrontation not only tests their physical strength but also their moral fortitude, as they strive to overcome the darkness within and bring justice to the land of Syrithya.

Characters:
Adisa "Kirjani" Palmer
Adisa Palmer is the heart and soul of The Healer’s Vow. Once a gentle healer in the peaceful village of Zyx, her life is irrevocably changed by the brutal attack that kills her sister, resulting in her sexual assault at the hands of the realm's “protectors”; destroying not only her home but her sanity. Grief and rage transform her into Kirjani, the Nightshade Sorceress, a figure of dark power and fierce determination for retribution. A black woman with taupe/mocha skin, long, flowing coily blonde hair, and hazel eyes that have darkened with the intensity of her dark magic. Standing at an average 5’9 her presence enters the room before she does. Adisa vowed that night to enact her revenge on every single one of those men who took her sister from her Kirjani’s journey is one of vengeance and redemption, as she grapples with the duality of her nature—struggling to balance the healer she once was with the avenger she has become.
Garrick “Rick” Bramwell
In the aftermath of the Zyx attack, fueled by Adisa’s newfound fears, transformed her first love–turned best friend Garrick, or Rick as she annoyingly calls him, into an immortal Shadow Walker using a dark elixir she created. Although they dated from the ages of 16 to 19, they now consider each other to be very good friends. Rick's new abilities allow him to move unseen in the shadows, making him an invaluable ally. He possesses a blend of blind loyalty to Adisa, now Kirjani, resilience, and sarcastic humor, which often lightens the mood in their darkest moments. Rick is a rugged black man who's no stranger to physical labor, with an ironically handsome appearance with dark hair, styled in a bundle of nature-ridden dreadlocks, and now, piercing black eyes that seem to see through the veil of reality. His transformation not only mirrors Adisa's fear of abandonment but also reflects their shared struggle to navigate their new, shadowy existence.
Raelin "Rae" Vespera
Raelin is the warrior every epic tale needs. Fierce, strategic, and unyielding, she joins Adisa and Rick with a vendetta of her own. Her fiery spirit and tactical brilliance make her a formidable force in their quest for vengeance. Raelin’s presence challenges Adisa to find hope and love amidst their journey of darkness. She has striking features, with dark olive skin, fiery red hair, and a strong, athletic build that speaks to her prowess in battle. Raelin’s character embodies the potential for human connection and compassion, providing a beacon of light in their dark quest.
Lena Gildersyn
Lena, a newcomer to the trio, shares a past marked by atrocities similar to Adisa's. She possesses her own shadowy abilities, with a deep connection to necromantic powers. Lena struggles to balance her dark abilities with her inherent healing nature, reflecting the theme of light and dark within the story. She is a resilient and introspective character, often caught between her desire for revenge and her innate compassion. Physically, Lena has a fair complexion, with gentle features, dark wavy hair, and eyes that convey both her pain and her strength. Her developing bond with Rick adds another layer of complexity to the group dynamics.
Alaric Halloway
Alaric, the ruler of Syrithya, is a figure of power and paranoia. As the story progresses, his increasing fear of the Nightshade Sorceress drives him to implement tighter control and more brutal measures. Alaric is a complex antagonist, whose desperation makes him both dangerous and pitiable. He has a commanding presence, with a tall, imposing stature and sharp, calculating eyes. His character explores the corrupting influence of power and the lengths one will go to maintain it.
Harmony Halloway
Despite her cheery-sounding name; Harmony, Alaric’s wife, is insufferably manipulative and ambitious. She secretly plots against her husband, aiming to rise to power herself. Think quintessential daddy's girl and “pick me,” energy. Yeah, I know. Harmony’s cunning and deceitful nature make her a formidable adversary. She is beautiful in a cold, calculated way, with flawless features and an air of superiority. Her interactions with other characters reveal her true intentions, adding layers of intrigue and betrayal to the story. Harmony represents the dark side of ambition and the impact of treachery within the ranks of power. Her light and illusion magic contrast sharply with Kirjani's dark necromancy, setting the stage for dynamic and dramatic confrontations.

They were heading back from running some of the errands that had piled up when they were in Vanystea, when the sharp smell of blood hit their nose. While that wasn't necessarily an oddity in the Plains, the fact that they were passing through one of the biggest gathering areas for the packs without seeing more than a handful of other Aifaen made it stand out in a way that had brilliant red fur raising to stand on end.
Eleare's ears pinned back against their head, and they did a little circle as they investigated the smell further. In the same direction, they could smell a large group of other beasts gathered. And as they followed the trail a bit further, they picked up something more...familiar. Three scents that they had come to know intimately, over the years.
Before they've even fully realized it, their paws are carrying them toward the sources of the scent in a full sprint. When they reach the others, gathered around in an anxious circle, the inari squeezes and leaps their way through the crowd, ignoring the grumbles and snarls that some gave in response.
Tumblr media
"Ma..."
Tumblr media
"Mom..."
Just as they'd thought, the moment they broke through the crowd, Eleare was met with the faces of their older children-- Thelrin and Raelin. They had been knelt on the ground with their backs toward Eleare at first, but the moment they got close enough and shifted forms, both jumped to their feet and turned to face Eleare.
Red eyes traveled quickly over their forms, making sure that they weren't injured before moving on to the person the two had been kneeling beside. They could feel their stomach twist in anticipation, before dropping altogether when their gaze fell upon the third familiar face.
Tumblr media
"Eleare? Wh--"
Before he can even respond, they're practically on top of him. Hands pushing clothing aside to get a better look at the wounds that littered the other Aifaen's body. They had to fight their instincts to growl and shoo away the healers that were already helping him, and instead gripped the man's arm tight.
Tumblr media
"What happened to you? When did you get back from Ahnia, Antale?" They sounded angry, and both Thelrin and Raelin's ears pressed back flat to their heads, starting to move away to avoid Eleare's wrath. Unfortunately, that only seemed to draw their attention. "And you two! If your father is back home, let alone injured, why would neither of you come to get me? I swear to Bralis, Tal, if you told them not to just because you didn't want to worry me, I'm going to finish you off in front of the whole Plains!"
"Lea, please...it hasn't been long, I promise." The man-- Antale-- lifts a hand, pressing a finger to their nose despite the way their lip curled like they were ready to bite. They don't, though...after a moment or two, the harsh air around them falters, and they lower their head a bit, so Antale's fingers could run through their hair, and rub at one fluffy ear. "I'm fine, I've had worse than this. The exhaustion from the fighting caught up to me, is all."
Eleare doesn't seem at all pleased to hear the last bit, but as it seems that Antale had more to say, they kept it to themself.
"...Something happened in Ahnia-- Elyki is causing trouble alongside the coup out there. That's why I'm here, and why I'm worse for wear. I was asked to relay what happened to the heads. Warn them, and see if they can spare some help."

We, Still Here
This took like 5 months so. Since a year has passed since then, I'm finally feeling cool about it enough to share it with other human beings.
We, Still Here is a post-apocalyptic text-based care simulator. Which is to say, the gameplay involves receiving care from the hands of your fellow survivors in an undefined post-apocalyptic environment. There is no way you can fail, no wrong choices, and no bad endings.
Made in Twine, gameplay involves the player clicking links to drift through tangents and progress the story. There are two narrative branches, where the player character partakes in a meal or is washed clean, or both. Throughout these activities, the narrative features meditation on interdependence, care and community, and grief and loss.
Content warnings can be accessed by pressing 'game' on the landing page the file takes you to (which will also explain how to play the game for those unfamiliar with Twine), though it cannot account for all potentially upsetting content.  Generally, the game explores trauma and surviving in the wake of it, grief, loss, and the complexity of being in relation when living with health (both physical and mental) difficulties. All these are explored through the lens of being safe and cared for in the present, but are applied both to the player character and other characters. Please take care of yourself when playing, and step away from the game as needed.
We, Still Here was made for a deadline, and has some coding errors, though nothing game-breaking as far as I'm aware. I thought I'd make it available for others to play in the hope that someone else might find it a source of joy and comfort, but it is far from perfect.  This project will not be updated or edited.
Features Avrin and Vytra :) With Raelin + Zera as background characters. Has kissing as a potential event, but isn't treated as the right, true, or 'most intimate' action.
Please make sure to check the content warnings! Especially regarding food, touch, and illness <3

Magical Mountain Summit - Uniting Eldoria and Torvania
Once upon a time, in the mystical land of Elenar, two kingdoms stood divided by a towering mountain range. The kingdom of Eldoria, a realm steeped in magic and enchantment, thrived in the western lands, while the eastern kingdom of Torvania, a realm bound by science and technology, flourished in the shadow of the same mountains. For centuries, the two kingdoms coexisted without any contact or conflict, their cultures and histories remaining shrouded in mystery to one another. It was on a fateful day that a group of Eldorian travelers stumbled upon a hidden passage through the mountains, leading them straight into the heart of Torvania. Unbeknownst to both kingdoms, this chance discovery would set off a chain of events that would forever change their fates. In a rare moment of vulnerability, the Queen of Eldoria revealed a long-held secret: her people were descendants of the lost city of Torvania, a truth hidden for generations to protect them from the wrath of the ancient rulers of Torvania. As the news spread through both kingdoms, whispers of betrayal and conspiracy filled the air. The young prince of Eldoria, Raelin, and the princess of Torvania, Amelia, found themselves thrust into a world of intrigue and danger as they sought to uncover the truth behind their shared heritage. With each new revelation, they realized that the fate of both kingdoms rested in their hands, and they would have to make a decision that could change their worlds forever. In the end, Raelin and Amelia chose to embrace the truth and bring their people together, forging a new alliance between Eldoria and Torvania. Through unity and understanding, they created a world where magic and science coexisted in harmony, paving the way for a brighter future for all who called these fantastical kingdoms home. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting an eerie glow over the kingdoms of Eldoria and Torvania. The mountains that separated them were no longer barriers, but bridges of possibility. "What do you think, Raelin?" Amelia asked, her voice barely a whisper as they stood on the precipice of the hidden passage. "Do you believe we can truly unite our worlds?" Raelin hesitated, his eyes scanning the horizon where Eldoria met Torvania's dense forests. "It is our destiny," he replied firmly. "We must forge a path forward and embrace unity." Together, they embarked on an adventure that would change their lives forever. As they ventured deeper into the heart of Torvania, they encountered its inhabitants, creatures of both magical and scientific origins. Some welcomed them with open arms, while others were wary of the outsiders who had dared to trespass their borders. In time, Raelin and Amelia gained the trust of the Torvanians, learning about their history and customs. They discovered that, despite their differences, they shared a common desire for peace and prosperity. The two kingdoms began to exchange knowledge, technology, and wisdom, finding strength in their combined strengths. As Raelin and Amelia continued to bridge the gap between Eldoria and Torvania, they faced challenges that tested their resolve. Their decisions had far-reaching consequences, but through it all, they persevered, determined to create a world where magic and science coexisted in harmony. And so, under the watchful gaze of the stars, two kingdoms became one, united by love, understanding, and a shared dream for a brighter future. In the kingdom of Eldoria, Prince Raelin and Princess Amelia stood at the edge of a hidden passage that led to the mysterious land of Torvania. The air was thick with anticipation as they prepared to embark on an adventure that would change their world forever. ``` Raelin: "Are you sure about this, Amelia? This passage leads to Torvania, a kingdom shrouded in mystery." Amelia: "Yes, Raelin. Our people have been separated from the Torvanians for centuries, but we must find a way to unite our worlds and embrace unity." Raelin: "But what if they are not willing to join us?" Amelia: "We won't know until we try. Besides, perhaps there is something valuable we can learn from them." ``` As Raelin and Amelia ventured into Torvania, they discovered a land filled with magic and technology far beyond their wildest dreams. The Torvanians welcomed them with open arms, eager to share their knowledge and wisdom. Through exchange and dialogue, the two kingdoms began to understand each other's customs and histories. ``` Amelia: "Our ancestors were once united, but a great tragedy led to our separation. We must learn from the past and not let history repeat itself." Raelin: "You are wise, Amelia. Together, we shall forge a new future where magic and science coexist in harmony." ``` Together, Raelin and Amelia faced challenges that tested their resolve, but they never wavered in their pursuit of unity. Through love, understanding, and a shared dream for a brighter future, the two kingdoms became united under the watchful gaze of the stars. And so, Eldoria and Torvania began to thrive as one, embracing the power of togetherness and the boundless potential of a world where magic and science danced hand in hand. The sun had barely risen when Raelin and Amelia, young prince and princess of Eldoria and Torvania respectively, found themselves standing atop the highest peak overlooking both their kingdoms. They had journeyed through the hidden passage together, seeking to bridge the gap between their nations, united by a shared heritage that even the mountains could not conceal. "My dear Princess Amelia," Raelin began, his voice echoing across the mountain range, "our people have lived apart for far too long, divided by these very peaks. It is time to bring our worlds together." Amelia looked out at the breathtaking view before them, her eyes filled with a mix of awe and determination. "I agree, Prince Raelin. Our people deserve the chance to live in harmony, to learn from one another's histories and cultures. We must find a way to unite our kingdoms." With that, they set off on a journey through Eldoria's enchanting forests and Torvania's bustling cities, discovering hidden truths and sharing their own secrets. As they ventured deeper into each other's worlds, Raelin and Amelia grew closer, their bond strengthened by mutual respect and understanding. Eventually, they returned to their respective kingdoms, bringing with them the knowledge of a world where magic and science coexisted in harmony. It was a revelation that would change the course of history for both Eldoria and Torvania, paving the way for a brighter future where the people of both kingdoms could thrive together. And so, as the sun set on their adventures, Raelin and Amelia stood side by side, watching the horizon, knowing that they had set in motion an unstoppable force for unity and understanding. The sun had just begun to set, casting an amber glow over the mountains that separated the kingdoms of Eldoria and Torvania. Raelin, the young prince of Eldoria, and Amelia, the princess of Torvania, stood side by side atop a mountain peak. They gazed upon their respective kingdoms below, filled with wonder and curiosity. "I've heard whispers of your land," Raelin said, his voice echoing through the crisp air. "But I never imagined it to be so vast and beautiful." Amelia smiled as she replied, "And what about our kingdom? Have you always lived in the shadows of these mountains?" Raelin nodded. "Yes, we've been separated for centuries. But I believe our time apart is coming to an end." As they continued their conversation, a shared heritage slowly came to light. Both of them discovered that their peoples once lived together harmoniously, united by the magic and science that flowed through their veins. The mountain range had long been a barrier between them, but now it seemed as if the tides were changing. "Together, we can forge a new future," Amelia declared, her voice filled with determination. "We must learn from one another and embrace our shared heritage." Raelin agreed, and their hearts swelled with hope for what lay ahead. They returned to their respective kingdoms, eager to share the knowledge of coexisting magic and science. As the days passed, their people grew closer and began to break down the barriers between them. Eventually, Raelin and Amelia stood side by side as a symbol of unity and understanding, ushering in a brighter future for all. As the sun dipped below the horizon, illuminating the sky in hues of orange and pink, Raelin, the young prince of Eldoria, stood atop a mountain peak. The wind whispered through the trees, carrying with it the sweet scent of spring blossoms. Raelin had traveled far and wide to learn about his people and their customs, but he never expected to meet anyone quite like Amelia. As the clouds shifted above them, a figure appeared on the opposite peak. With curiosity piqued, Raelin observed as a young woman with raven hair and eyes like the depths of the ocean stepped into view. She was Amelia, the princess of Torvania. Their shared heritage sparkled in their eyes, a testament to the intertwined fates of their kingdoms. "Hello," Raelin called out, his voice carried by the wind. "I am Prince Raelin of Eldoria." Amelia's brows furrowed as she squinted into the wind. "Prince Raelin?" she asked, her voice carrying back to him. "Is that you? I thought I heard of your name in stories and tales." "Indeed," Raelin replied, stepping forward. "I never imagined I would meet someone from Torvania in such a place." As the wind rustled through the trees, the two shared their stories, discovering common ground and shared dreams. Their conversation flowed effortlessly, as if they had known each other for years. "We must unite our kingdoms," Raelin declared, his voice filled with conviction. "Our peoples have suffered long enough under the weight of animosity and division." Amelia nodded, her eyes reflecting the fire in her heart. "Together, we can bring a new era of understanding and prosperity to both our lands." As the sun began to set, casting its final rays upon them, Raelin and Amelia stood side by side, symbols of unity and hope. They would return to their kingdoms with a shared mission: to bridge the gap between Eldoria and Torvania, ushering in a brighter future for all. Upon reaching the peak, they were greeted by an enchanting sight - a small clearing with a crystal-clear spring at its center. The air was filled with a sense of peace and harmony, and the two princes felt a connection like never before. As they knelt to drink from the spring, Amelia hesitantly spoke up. ``` Raelin, the young prince of Eldoria, had always been fascinated by the tales of the distant kingdom of Torvania. The stories spoke of a land filled with magic and wonder, far different from the practicality and orderliness of his own home. As he stood atop a mountain peak one day, he could see for miles in every direction. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew a figure into view - Amelia, the princess of Torvania, who had been blown off course during her journey to Eldoria. Amelia: "I-I'm sorry, Your Highness! The wind caught me!" she stammered, trying to catch her breath. Raelin: "Do not worry, Princess Amelia. I am Raelin, the prince of Eldoria. What brings you here?" Amelia: "My father sent me on a diplomatic mission to your kingdom. We wish to establish peaceful relations and trade between our lands." Raelin: "That is good news indeed! Our people could benefit greatly from such an alliance." As they spoke, Raelin noticed a striking resemblance between the two of them - it seemed that Amelia was not just a foreign princess, but a long-lost cousin. They shared stories of their kingdoms and families, and as the sun began to set, they decided to keep this discovery a secret for now. Raelin: "Let us work together to unite our kingdoms and create a future filled with peace and prosperity." Amelia: "I agree, Prince Raelin. Together, we can show our people that unity is far stronger than any divisions between us." With their shared heritage finally revealed, the two young royals stood side by side, gazing out over the breathtaking landscape before them. They knew that their combined efforts would bring about a brighter future for all who lived in Eldoria and Torvania. And so, the seeds of unity were planted, ready to blossom into a new era of understanding and collaboration. Once upon a time, in the majestic kingdom of Eldoria and the proud realm of Torvania, two young royals were destined to meet. Prince Raelin of Eldoria and Princess Amelia of Torvania shared an extraordinary heritage that would forever change their lives and unite their nations. One day, on a whim, they decided to climb the tallest peak in the world to witness the breathtaking view. As they reached the summit, a gust of wind blew away their crowns, revealing the identical markings on their heads - a symbol of royalty that spanned both kingdoms. "What's this?" Amelia asked, touching her head in amazement. "I feel it too," Raelin replied, his voice filled with wonder. "We must be related." Their conversation flowed effortlessly, as if they had known each other for years. They shared stories of their lives and the challenges they faced in ruling their respective kingdoms. It became clear that their hearts beat in unison, driven by a desire to unite their people under a banner of peace and prosperity. As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the mountains, Raelin and Amelia knew they had found something extraordinary - a bond stronger than any political alliance. Hand in hand, they stood together, gazing at the vast horizon that stretched before them. They were symbols of unity and understanding, ushering in a brighter future for all who called Eldoria and Torvania home. And so, it began. The story of two young royals, bound by destiny, who would forever change their worlds. The sun was just beginning to set as Prince Raelin of Eldoria and Princess Amelia of Torvania stood atop the highest peak, admiring the breathtaking view that stretched out before them. They had traveled long and hard to reach this very spot, each believing it held the key to uniting their divided kingdoms. As they gazed into each other's eyes, a spark of recognition ignited within them. Raelin, with his golden hair and piercing blue eyes, took Amelia's hand, and she, with her silken voice and fiery red locks, returned the gesture. "We are more than just kingdoms," Amelia whispered, her voice carrying the weight of centuries of tradition. "Indeed, we are kindred spirits," Raelin agreed. "Our lineages intertwine like the vines of an ancient tree, and together, we can grow stronger still." They shared a look of determination, knowing that the path ahead would not be easy. With newfound resolve, they began to plan their journey back down the mountain, hand in hand, ready to face whatever challenges awaited them. As they descended, the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow on the two young rulers who stood together, symbols of unity and understanding, ushering in a brighter future for all. Once upon a time, in a land far away, two kingdoms stood side by side - Eldoria and Torvania. The two kingdoms had long been at odds with each other, their people divided by mistrust and misunderstanding. However, destiny had other plans for these realms. Atop the highest peak of the mountain range that separated the two kingdoms stood Prince Raelin from Eldoria and Princess Amelia from Torvania. They were both there to seek solitude and clarity in their respective quests for wisdom. As fate would have it, they bumped into each other while exploring the summit. "Greetings," said Raelin, extending a hand. "I am Prince Raelin of Eldoria. It seems we've stumbled upon each other in this... peculiar place." Princess Amelia took his hand and shook it firmly. "I am Princess Amelia of Torvania. It is indeed an unexpected encounter," she replied with a smile. As they talked, they discovered that they were more than just royalty - they shared the same heritage. Their families were once united, but over time, the ties had frayed and eventually snapped, giving rise to the two kingdoms that now stood at odds. Raelin and Amelia realized that their fate was intertwined, and it was up to them to mend what had been broken. Together, they began a journey of understanding, learning about each other's cultures and histories. They shared stories of the past and dreams for the future, and with each conversation, the walls of mistrust crumbled just a little more. As their people began to see the similarities between them, a spark of hope ignited within their hearts. In time, Raelin and Amelia stood side by side, not as representatives of Eldoria and Torvania, but as symbols of unity and understanding. Their combined efforts ushered in a new era for both kingdoms - one filled with peace, cooperation, and the promise of a brighter future for all. And so, two kingdoms that had once been divided by mountains now stood together, united under the banner of love and friendship, forever changed by the meeting of Prince Raelin and Princess Amelia atop the highest peak. Once upon a time, in the mystical land of Eldoria and its neighboring kingdom, Torvania, there lived two young royals who were destined to change the course of history. Prince Raelin of Eldoria and Princess Amelia of Torvania were both passionate about bringing peace and prosperity to their people. One day, on a beautiful sunny morning, they decided to meet atop a majestic mountain peak to discuss their shared heritage and potential alliance between the two kingdoms. As they gazed upon the breathtaking view, they could feel the magic that bound them together. Raelin: "Greetings, Princess Amelia! It's an honor to finally meet you in person." Amelia: "Likewise, Prince Raelin. I have heard so much about you and your kingdom. The rumors of your wisdom and kindness are truly astonishing." Raelin: "Thank you, Your Highness. And I must say, the same can be said of you and your kingdom. I am eager to learn more about our shared heritage and how we can work together for a brighter future." Amelia: "Our ancestors were once united, and it is time to reignite that bond. By working together, we can overcome any obstacles and create a lasting harmony between Eldoria and Torvania." Raelin nodded in agreement, and they began to discuss the intricacies of their kingdoms' histories and cultures. They found that their people shared many customs and beliefs, which only served to strengthen their resolve to unite their kingdoms. As the sun began to set, Raelin and Amelia stood side by side, hand in hand, gazing out over their realms. The sky was painted with hues of pink and orange as the horizon changed, symbolizing the dawn of a new era. Together, they represented unity and understanding, ushering in a brighter future for all who called Eldoria and Torvania home. Once upon a time, in the magical kingdoms of Eldoria and Torvania, there lay a mountain peak that was said to be the meeting place between two powerful royal families. On a clear day, Prince Raelin from Eldoria stood atop this very peak, gazing out into the distance with a sense of pride and determination. As he looked around, he noticed a figure approaching him from afar. To his surprise, it was Princess Amelia from Torvania, who had come to the same peak on a quest for understanding. As they drew closer, Raelin felt an instant connection with Amelia, as if they were long-lost siblings separated by fate. "Hello," Raelin greeted her warmly. "Hello," Amelia responded, her voice echoing through the wind. They stood there for a moment, soaking in each other's presence. Finally, Raelin couldn't help but ask, "Are you here to find out more about our shared heritage?" Amelia nodded, her eyes shining with curiosity and hope. "Yes, I am. My parents never spoke of our people's past, and I yearned for answers." Together, they began to unravel the secrets of their lineage, sharing stories of their ancestors and the bonds that once united their kingdoms. They spoke of love and betrayal, courage and sacrifice, and as the sun set behind them, they realized that their people had been divided not by malice, but by a series of unfortunate events. In that moment, Raelin and Amelia vowed to work together, to rekindle the flames of unity between Eldoria and Torvania. They stood side by side, hand in hand, as symbols of understanding and hope for a brighter future for all. And so, with love and determination, they embarked on a journey that would change their lives forever, and usher in a new era of peace and harmony between the two kingdoms. Once upon a time, in two neighboring kingdoms of Eldoria and Torvania, lived Prince Raelin and Princess Amelia. They had never met before but were destined to be the ones who would unite their kingdoms. One day, they both decided to meet at the highest peak in their land to discuss a possible alliance between their realms. As they stood face to face atop the mountain, Raelin and Amelia couldn't help but notice how similar they looked. Their eyes met and sparked a connection that would change their lives forever. They started conversing, discussing the challenges each kingdom faced and the potential benefits of joining forces. "We have so much in common," Amelia said, her voice filled with hope and anticipation. "Our cultures, our values...our problems." "Indeed, we do," Raelin agreed. "And together, we can face any challenge that comes our way." As the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the mountain peak, they discovered that not only did their kingdoms have shared traditions and history, but they also found out that they were long-lost siblings! The revelation filled them with joy and determination. Hand in hand, Raelin and Amelia stood side by side as symbols of unity and understanding, gazing into the distance at a brighter future for all their people. Their love for each other and their shared heritage paved the way for an alliance that would bring prosperity to both Eldoria and Torvania, proving that even the highest peaks can be overcome when hearts are united. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the peaks of the mountains that separated Eldoria and Torvania. Prince Raelin and Princess Amelia had ascended the highest point in hopes of finding a solution to unite their divided kingdoms. As they stood side by side, looking out over the breathtaking view, they couldn't help but feel a connection. Prince Raelin: "This must be an incredible sight for you, Princess Amelia. It is truly majestic." Princess Amelia: "It is indeed, Prince Raelin. And I am grateful for this opportunity to see it with my own eyes." As they gazed at the setting sun, a sudden gust of wind blew, causing their cloaks to dance around them. In that moment, the fire from the sun's last rays illuminated a hidden scroll tied to a rock. Raelin and Amelia reached for it simultaneously, their hands brushing against each other in the process. Prince Raelin: "What is this?" Princess Amelia: "I do not know, but it seems important." As they unfurled the scroll, a map of both kingdoms appeared, with markings indicating secret alliances and shared history. Their eyes widened in surprise. Prince Raelin: "This confirms it! We are not so different after all. Our ancestors must have known this, and that's why they kept this hidden." Princess Amelia: "We must use this knowledge to bring our people together. Let us work as one, for the future of both our kingdoms." And with a renewed sense of purpose, Prince Raelin and Princess Amelia returned to their people, determined to unite Eldoria and Torvania under a banner of unity and understanding. As they stood atop the mountain peak, the sun cast a golden glow over the lands of Eldoria and Torvania. The air was crisp, carrying with it the scent of fresh pine and the distant sound of birdsong. It was here that Prince Raelin from Eldoria and Princess Amelia from Torvania first met, their eyes meeting across the vast expanse before them. "What brings you to this place?" Raelin asked, his voice barely a whisper carried away by the wind. Amelia smiled gently, "I came in search of answers. My people have long spoken of an ancient alliance between our kingdoms. I believed that if we could find proof of it, it might pave the way for unity." Raelin nodded, his heart swelling with hope. "And I, too, seek to bring peace and understanding between our people." As they explored the summit together, they found a hidden scroll tucked within the roots of an ancient tree. Unfurling it, they discovered a map revealing secret alliances and shared history between Eldoria and Torvania. The revelation was profound; their kingdoms were not so different after all. With renewed purpose, Raelin and Amelia descended the mountain together, hand in hand. They knew their journey had only just begun, but they were confident that with unity and understanding, a brighter future awaited both of their peoples. The sun continued its descent, casting long shadows across the landscape below. Prince Raelin and Princess Amelia stood together, gazing at the breathtaking view. "I've always dreamt of seeing this sight," Amelia whispered, her voice carried away by the gentle breeze. Raelin smiled gently and replied, "And I've longed to share it with someone who appreciates its beauty as much as I do." The two rulers exchanged glances, their eyes filled with determination and hope for a better future. They knew that they had been brought together for a reason, and that reason was to unite their kingdoms. As they walked along the mountain path, Amelia began to tell Raelin about her people's history and customs. "In Torvania, we believe in harmony with nature and respect for all living beings," she explained. "We've lived in peace for centuries, but we have faced isolation due to misunderstandings between us and Eldoria." Raelin nodded, understanding the complexities of their shared history. He knew that it wasn't just about politics or alliances; it was about bridging the cultural gap and fostering mutual respect. As they continued down the mountain, they discussed their plans for uniting their kingdoms. "Our people must learn to see each other as family," Amelia declared passionately. "We can only achieve true unity if we embrace our shared heritage and work together." Raelin agreed wholeheartedly, knowing that their love story would inspire others to put aside their differences and forge a brighter future. Together, they descended the mountain, their hearts filled with hope, ready to lead their kingdoms toward a new era of peace and prosperity. As they stood atop the mountain, gazing out over the breathtaking landscape, Raelin and Amelia couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder and camaraderie. The sun cast a golden glow over Eldoria and Torvania, carrying with it the scent of fresh pine and the distant sound of birdsong. "This is truly a remarkable place," Amelia whispered, her voice carried away by the wind. Raelin nodded in agreement. "It's as if nature herself has brought us together, just as our kingdoms must unite." Together, they explored the summit, finding a hidden scroll that revealed secret alliances and shared history between Eldoria and Torvania. The parchment detailed ancient pacts and treaties, showing that their peoples had once been inextricably linked. "It seems we have more in common than we realized," Raelin mused, his eyes tracing the ink on the brittle scroll. Amelia smiled. "Indeed, it's a new beginning for both our kingdoms." With renewed purpose, they descended the mountain together, hand in hand, confident that unity and understanding would usher in a brighter future for their peoples. As they journeyed back to their respective lands, Raelin and Amelia knew they had formed an unbreakable bond, one that would inspire change and harmony between Eldoria and Torvania. As they stood atop the mountain, Raelin and Amelia were awestruck by the breathtaking view that stretched before them. They exchanged a knowing glance, understanding that this was a moment that would change their lives forever. ``` "What brings you here?" Amelia asked softly, her voice carried away by the gentle breeze. Raelin smiled warmly at her. "I was told that this peak holds a secret - a connection between our two kingdoms." Amelia's eyes widened in surprise. "You too? I thought I was the only one seeking answers." "Yes," Raelin replied, taking a step closer to her. "Our ancestors forged a pact, bound by blood and shared history. We must find that scroll to reveal their secrets." As they explored the summit together, Amelia felt an inexplicable sense of familiarity with Raelin. They searched every nook and cranny until, at last, they found it - a hidden scroll tucked away in a small crevice. "This is incredible," Amelia whispered as she unrolled the parchment, revealing the ancient script. "It speaks of a pact between our ancestors, swearing to protect and support one another." Raelin nodded solemnly. "Let this be the beginning of a new chapter in our histories. We shall return to our kingdoms with these words and forge a path towards unity and understanding." ``` Together, they descended the mountain, hand in hand, their hearts filled with hope for the future. The sun cast its golden light on Eldoria and Torvania, carrying with it the promise of a brighter tomorrow. Raelin and Amelia, standing side by side atop the mountain peak, gazed out over their kingdoms, which now seemed so much closer than before. They shared a moment of silence, taking in the beauty of the landscape and the enormity of what lay ahead for them. "You know," Raelin began hesitantly, "I've always felt there was something special about this place." Amelia nodded in agreement. "It feels as if we were destined to meet here. This mountain has witnessed our shared history and the ties that bind us." "Do you remember the words on the scroll?" Raelin asked, still holding onto it tightly. "The secret alliances, the mutual respect... It's incredible to think our ancestors understood the importance of unity between our kingdoms." Amelia smiled warmly. "We are their legacy, and now it is our responsibility to carry that forward. Together, we can bring our people closer and forge a future of understanding and prosperity." Raelin took her hand in his. "I promise you, Princess Amelia, I will be by your side every step of the way. We shall make sure that our united kingdoms shine as a beacon of hope and unity for all who look upon them." As they descended the mountain together, their hands still entwined, Raelin and Amelia felt a newfound sense of purpose. They knew in their hearts that their people were counting on them, and they would not let them down. United by fate and love, they were determined to bring their kingdoms closer than ever before, ushering in a bright and harmonious future for all who called Eldoria and Torvania home. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden hue over the mountain peak where Prince Raelin and Princess Amelia had gathered. They stood side by side, gazing out at the breathtaking view that stretched before them. As they watched the sky change colors, Raelin turned to Amelia and said, "You know, I've always admired the beauty of this place. It seems fitting that it was here where our paths first crossed." Amelia nodded in agreement. "Yes, it is quite a memorable spot. But it's not just the scenery that's beautiful; it's also the story behind why we're here. The shared history and alliances between Eldoria and Torvania are something to be celebrated." As they continued their conversation, Raelin pulled out a scroll he had received earlier. "There is something I think you should see," he said, unrolling the parchment. As Amelia read the words on the scroll, her eyes widened in surprise. "Our kingdoms have been connected for much longer than we thought," she whispered. Raelin agreed, his voice filled with determination. "We must work together to bring unity and understanding to our people. Our alliance is not just a symbol, but a promise of a better future." With renewed purpose, they descended the mountain hand in hand, ready to lead their kingdoms towards a brighter tomorrow. And as they walked side by side, the sun broke through the clouds once more, casting its light upon them and illuminating the path that lay ahead. In the kingdom of Eldoria, nestled between towering mountains and dense forests, lived Prince Raelin, the heir to the throne. He was known for his wisdom, courage, and unwavering dedication to his people. Across the treacherous mountain range lay another kingdom, Torvania, home to Princess Amelia, a young and compassionate ruler. She had a reputation for her kindness and intelligence, much like Prince Raelin. One day, under a bright sky filled with fluffy clouds, the two met atop the highest peak of the mountain range. The air was crisp, and the wind whispered secrets of ancient alliances between their kingdoms. As they gazed into each other's eyes, they realized that they shared not only the same love for their people but also a shared heritage. "Your Highness, I never imagined that I would one day find a member of my own blood across these mountains," Prince Raelin said with a hint of surprise in his voice. "I am glad to finally meet you." "And I, your Highness," replied Princess Amelia, her voice filled with warmth and sincerity. "This meeting is not only a testament to our shared heritage but also a symbol of unity between our kingdoms." They stood there for a moment, absorbing the beauty of their newfound bond and the vast landscape that lay before them. The silence was broken by the soft rustling of the wind as it carried a rolled scroll in its gentle grasp. "Look!" Princess Amelia exclaimed, pointing at the scroll. Interviewer: Welcome, Garrick and Raelin, you guys are from Syrithya, fraught with conflict and angering civilians against the tyrannical nobility. I’ll make sure to start with something light. What’s your favorite thing to do to avoid responsibility?
Rick: (smirking) Honestly, I like to disappear into the woods. It’s peaceful, and no one can find me there. There’s something about the solitude that helps me clear my mind and think about everything that’s been happening. It’s a way for me to escape the chaos, even if just for a little while.
Rae: For me, it’s a good sparring session. There’s nothing like the physical exertion to take my mind off things. Plus, it’s a productive way to avoid responsibility – I’m getting stronger and more prepared for whatever comes next. Sometimes, though, it’s just about finding a quiet spot and carving a piece of wood into something new.
Interviewer: If you could choose anyone in the world to be your sibling, who would it be?
Rick: (glancing at Rae) I think I’d choose someone like Rae. Tough, dependable. But Adisa is my sister in spirit, and that bond is stronger than anything blood could create. We’ve been through so much together, and that kind of history makes us inseparable.
Rae: I’d choose Rick, no question. He’s got your back, no matter what. But Adisa too, as weird as that would be considering… anyway, they both embody the kind of loyalty and strength I value. We’re a family forged by circumstances, and that’s sometimes stronger than anything else.
Interviewer: What is the most sublime thing you have ever eaten and why?
Rick: There was this roasted boar at a village feast once. Perfectly cooked, seasoned just right. I can still taste it. It wasn’t just the food, though; it was the sense of community, the laughter and stories shared around the fire. It’s those moments of peace that stick with you.
Rae: Freshly caught fish, grilled over an open fire. Simple but unforgettable. There’s something about the taste of food you’ve caught and prepared yourself. It’s honest and pure, a reminder of simpler times and the satisfaction of self-sufficiency.
Interviewer: What was the worst day of your life?
Rick: The night of the attack on Zyx. I lost everything. Seeing the village burn, hearing the screams, and feeling helpless I tried to save as many as I could. It was the night that changed everything, it took away my family and my sense of security.
Rae: The night my village was razed. Changed everything. I was only 15 dude, I had to grow up fast—too fast. (there's a brief pause as Raelin clears her throat) Learning to survive on my own. It was a baptism by fire, and it’s left scars that I carry with me to this day.
Interviewer: What’s your worst nightmare?
Rick: Losing those I care about and not being able to protect them. That feeling of helplessness is something I never want to experience again. It’s what drives me to keep fighting, to keep getting stronger.
Rae: I’d have to agree. But also, becoming like the people we fight against. I fear losing my humanity, bro. Like becoming a soulless husk, in the pursuit of frivolity. It’s a fine line, and it’s easy to cross without realizing it; Kirjani had no choice, she was put through a hellish experience. I don’t fault her in the slightest.
Interviewer: If a monster asked you your worst nightmare, what would you tell it and why?
Rick: I’d tell it the truth. Fear of losing loved ones. Monsters thrive on fear, and it’s best to face it head-on. Acknowledging your fears gives you power over them, rather than letting them control you.
Rae: I wouldn’t give it the satisfaction. I’d probably laugh and tell it to find someone else to scare. Giving a monster your fears is like giving it a weapon. I’d rather keep my fears to myself and use them to fuel my strength.
Interviewer: Would you give away secret information if tortured? Be honest.
Rick: (serious) I’d like to say no, but everyone has a breaking point. It’s about how long you can hold out and what you can do to protect those secrets as long as possible. I’d resist as much as I could, for as long as I could, especially if it meant protecting Adisa.
Rae: I feel the same, but I’d hold out as long as I could. Torture breaks everyone eventually, but the key is to hold out long enough to find another way out, to protect those you care about for as long as possible.
Interviewer: Who could you trust most with a secret?
Rick: Adisa. Always. We’ve been through too much together. There’s a bond there that’s unbreakable, and I know she’d protect any secret with her life.
Rae: Lena. Without a doubt. Her loyalty and friendship is unwavering, and I know she’d keep my secrets safe, just as I have always kept hers.
Interviewer: You have been caught somewhere you shouldn’t be! Quick, what is your excuse?
Rick: (laughing) I was just making sure everything was secure. Can’t be too careful. I’d try to make it seem like I was there for a reason, to avoid suspicion and buy myself some time.
Rae: I’d just say I was lost. People usually believe a lost traveler. It’s a simple excuse, but sometimes the simplest explanations are the most believable.
Interviewer: How good is your sleep schedule?
Rick: Not great. Nightmares don’t help. The past has a way of haunting you when you close your eyes, and there are always things to worry about, plans to make, and people to protect.
Rae: Nonexistent. Always on edge. Sleep is a luxury when you’re constantly on guard, but you learn to take rest when you can, even if it’s just a few minutes here and there.
Interviewer: Do you have any siblings? If so, is your relationship good?
Rick: Adisa is like a sister to me. Our bond is strong, even if it’s not by blood. We look out for each other and support each other. She’s my family.
Rae: No blood siblings, but Rick and Adisa are my chosen family. We’ve built a bond that’s just as strong, if not stronger, than any blood ties.
Interviewer: What’s the toughest time you had to endure growing up?
Rick: The transition from childhood to warrior. The training was brutal. But it was necessary. It taught me discipline, strength, and the importance of protecting those who can’t protect themselves.
Rae: Same. Learning to fend for myself after losing everything. It was a trial by fire, but it made me who I am today. Stronger, tougher, and ready for anything.
Interviewer: What’s your relationship with your family like?
Rick: My parents are gone, but the memories are good. Adisa and I are like family now. We support each other through everything, and that bond is unbreakable.
Rae: My family is gone. But Rick and Adisa fill that void. They’re my family now, and I’d do anything to protect them.
Interviewer: Do you have any hobbies? If so, what ones?
Rick: Woodworking. It’s calming. There’s something therapeutic about creating something with your hands, something tangible and lasting.
Rae: Hunting and carving wood figures. It’s a way to clear my mind and focus on something other than the battles we face. Plus, it’s practical.
Interviewer: Do you dream often? What do you dream about?
Rick: Too often. Mostly about the past. The things I’ve lost, the people I couldn’t save. But also about a better future, one where we’re free from fear and tyranny.
Rae: Same here. The past and what the future holds. Dreams can be a way to process what’s happened, but they can also be a source of hope.
Interviewer: Have you ever been in love?
Rick: (pausing, glances over at Rae without turning his head to avoid eye contact) Yes, once. But things changed. We grew apart, and now we’re just good friends. Adisa will always hold a special place in my heart, but Kirjani and I both knew it wasn’t meant to be.
Rae: (glaring at Rick) Yes. It’s complicated. Love isn’t always straightforward, and sometimes it’s about finding a balance between your feelings and your responsibilities.
Kirjani: (appearing out of the dark corner of the room where the ceiling lights casts shadow) Aww, how sweet! I didn’t know you two were such romantics. Lena is gonna be so mad at you two for holding back on her for so long? Rae, you didn't answer the question. Who's the lucky one?
Rae: (blushing slightly) Ani? This completely mysterious person; you must know... it’s someone who challenges me, who sees past my defenses. Someone who’s strong but has a gentle heart. Ani1, I mean it that’s all you’re getting out of me.
Kirjani: (smiling with all 101 torture hijinks in mind) Well, well, looks like we have a mystery on our hands. Don't worry, Rae, your secret is safe with us. For now. Her archetype is a hybrid sorceresses, lunatic and trickster. Explicitly on no
Rick: (chuckling) You know she isn't gonna let this go now, Rae.
Rae: (rolling her eyes but smiling) I know, but some things are worth keeping close to the chest.
Kirjani: (grinning) Oh, come on, Rae. We all have our secrets. But you know I’m here for you, no matter what.
Interviewer: Well, that certainly adds some intrigue... doesn't it? Let’s continue. What is your least favorite thing in the world?
Rick: Injustice. Can’t stand it. Seeing people suffer because of those in power infuriates me. It’s why I fight.
Rae: Cruelty. Especially towards the innocent. There’s no excuse for it, and it’s something I will never tolerate.
Interviewer: What is your biggest pet peeve?
Rick: People who don’t listen. When you’ve seen what we’ve seen, you know how important it is to pay attention to the details.
Rae: Hypocrisy. People who say one thing and do another. It’s infuriating.
Interviewer: Would you consider yourself different?
Rick: Definitely. My experiences have shaped me in ways I never expected. I’ve had to adapt, to become stronger, to survive. It’s made me different, but it’s also made me who I am.
Rae: Same here. Different, but stronger. My past has forged me into a fighter, someone who won’t back down.
Interviewer: How far would you go to save a loved one?
Rick: As far as it takes. No limits. I’d sacrifice anything to protect those I care about, especially Adisa.
Rae: All the way. No hesitation. Family, whether by blood or bond, is everything.
Interviewer: Would you team up with your worst enemy if it was your only option?
Rick: If it meant saving lives, yes. Sometimes you have to make tough choices for the greater good.
Rae: I would. But I’d be watching my back. Trust is hard to come by, but sometimes you don’t have a choice.
Interviewer: What is the worst insult you can give?
Rick: Calling someone a coward. It strikes at their core.
Rae: Traitor. Nothing worse than betrayal.
Interviewer: What is the nicest thing someone could say to you?
Rick: That I made a difference. Knowing that my actions had a positive impact means everything.
Rae: That I’m trusted. Trust is earned, and it’s the highest compliment.
Interviewer: Are you a jealous person?
Rick: Not really. I’ve learned that jealousy is a waste of energy.
Rae: I can be, dude! I try my best not to let it show. It’s a human emotion, but it’s better to focus on what you can control.
Interviewer: Have you ever committed a crime?
Rick: Depends on your definition of crime. I’ve broken laws to protect others, but I stand by my actions.
Rae: Same. In some eyes, yes. But it’s about survival and justice.
Interviewer: Are you neat or messy?
Rick: Neat. Can’t stand chaos. Order helps me think clearly.
Rae: A bit of both. Depends on the situation. Sometimes you need order, other times you need flexibility.
Interviewer: How do you feel about crying? Let it out or hold it in?
Rick: Hold it in. But sometimes it’s necessary. It’s a release, a way to process emotions.
Rae: Let it out. It’s healing. Holding it in only makes it worse.
Interviewer: Who do you live for? Why?
Rick: For those I care about. They’re my reason. Adisa, especially. She’s my anchor.
Rae: My chosen family. Lena is like a baby sister to me. Rick, the older brother I never wanted. (she playfully elbows him hard in the stomach causing him to wince). And of course, the beautiful and sometimes... disturbing, Kirjani Channing. They give me purpose and strength.
Interviewer: Who has betrayed you most?
Rick: The nobility. They took everything. Their betrayal is what fuels my fight.
Rae: Same. They’re the root of all my pain. Their actions have shaped my path.
Interviewer: What style of accessories do you wear? Is it willingly?
Rick: Practical stuff. Weapons, tools. It’s all about function.
Rae: I would have to agree again, practicality over fashion.
Interviewer: Thank you both for your time. This has been enlightening.
Rick: Anytime.
Rae: Thank you, this was fun. Glad to share.

I am absolutely in love with this picture of Raelin. I will admit, the closer we get to Veilguard, I'm really curious about how the romance will be handled

trying my hardest to send u different numbers but lmao. 2, 4, 15, 20, 26 and 29 :'3
YAHOO let's get down and dirty
2. What turns them on/off:
ons: dirty talk. praise. his partner in lingerie/dressed up. being able to be vulnerable. like, emotional vulnerability has become important to him in the last couple of years, but when it comes to sex, Relihn really likes when the gloves are off and he can have his needs fulfilled. he wants to be touched, he wants to be watched, he wants to let go of the reins and let himself be bossed around. there's probably a powerplay kink buried under there somewhere just waiting to be unleashed if they go really hard on the "knight and lord" dynamic in bed lmao.
offs: okay, brace yourself for this one....... he doesn't like dirty settings. <_< all the outdoor fooling around they did in the legionfall campaign was the exception, but now that they actually have CONTROL in their lives, he's a little more stubborn about cleanliness. it's why he's sometimes dubious about raein saying he likes the soot and sweat!! he's STICKY!!!!!
4. Most sensitive part(s) of their body?
his chest! he got uncertain about it when he and Raein were sexually active together before his surgery, but now that he's more comfortable in his own skin, he really likes nipples stimulated.
15. Their biggest sexual desire?
it's so hard to think of anything he hasn't already discussed before! he really really likes it when Raein expresses that his experiences with Relihn mean so much more than the flings he had in the past. i think in terms of sexual fantasy, Relihn would relish the idea of all of those previous partners watching or hearing him blow Raein's fucking mind better than they ever could. did i mention he likes being praised and bossed around? 🫣
20. What's their favorite thing to do sex-wise?
BITIIIINNGGG. okay no, more specifically, Relihn's favorite part of sex is physical foreplay. being trusted with Raein's body is an experience he doesn't like to waste if they aren't in a rush. LOVES covering him in touches and kisses and bites everywhere he can, taking in the satisfaction of all the bruises he's left behind when they're done. especially on his legs. could spend an HOUR just biting Raein from his ankles to his thighs if Raein had the patience to let him!!
26. Are they self conscious about any parts of their body?
not so much nowadays! sometimes he still gets nervous about not being "enough" for Raein when it comes to penetration with his own natural anatomy. even so, it's still a pleasant experience for him personally.
29. Wild card. Give us a fun fact!
UHHH. did you know Relihn doesn't have a prostate. okay so in terms of Relihn being intersex, by outward appearances he may appear to be "in the middle", but that isn't the case at all for him or the definition of intersexuality itself! he was an AFAB individual who never went under genital intervention surgery, who later transitioned, who does not menstruate nor does he produce sperm. this probably makes him infertile by real world standards, but this is a magic world and we are getting him and Raein their baby.
