I have just completed my playthrough on the Wii U Virtual Console port of Rayman Advance!

Here are fifteen episodes on the GBA version of Rayman 1, plus two bonus ones!

While it was an impressive feat to port this game on a handheld system at the time, this version of the first Rayman didn’t age very well. Mostly due to the camera and a variety of issues (like incorrect platform behaviors)...

But it does have its own charm and I still like it, even if I prefer most console/PC versions! :)

Note that I didn’t use the Virtual Console graphic filter to keep an authentic experience, aside from a few moments (like the backtracking parts) just to showcase how it looks. Same goes for the other VC features.

Accumulate and put together your skills as you advance, helping Rayman defeat his bizarre enemies, rescue his friends, the Electoons, and. Come face to face with more than 50 outrageous creatures in six mind-boggling worlds and over 30 different levels. That being said, I have beaten both the original DOS game and the GBA version without using cheats or anything. Rayman Advance combines a challenging nonlinear platform-style game with striking animation. That's just me, but I found Rayman 1 considerably harder. On the other hand though, you have less of a view in the game, due to much smaller screen resolution.Īnd I've not had much trouble with some of the Treasure games. The original PC, PS1, Saturn, and all other versions were much harder. This is my first FAQ for GameFAQs, so if youre reading this, it got posted. They gave you more lives, put in more platforms in hard jumps, made the bosses easy to exploit (you could hit some of them all at once without them fighting back), and they removed several of the auto-scrolling screen parts (where you used to die if the screen catches up to you). Welcome to my Rayman Advance Walkthrough/FAQ Guide. You can't beat the final boss or see the ending without them all collected.Īnd they made the game easier on the GBA. The hard part is going into the stages to find ALL of the cages to free the 'toons. Rayman has made the rounds on quite a few consoles, including the Sega Saturn, Atari Jaguar, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Playstation, PC and the Game Boy Color. But half the challenge isn't beating most of the game, that's manageable.

Le Point - Août 2024

Le Point d’août 2024 arrive en temps et en heure pour la première fois depuis longtemps ! :P Voici donc un petit condensé de mes créations ce mois-ci, avec quelques bonnes images en prime et une recommandation d’une légende de la communauté Rayman !

Two thumbnail designs for upcoming gameplays for the GBA game Rayman Advance, which would be played on an emulator. Although, I have no idea if this video idea would be up as a real thing, especially a SM64 video idea. Bet I might see...

Note from Kat, but I finished most of Rayman Origins today! (Main part anyways) Thought I’d do a Remy sketch to celebrate, and maybe drop a little something while I’m here heheh

When Remy first arrived he sprinted and ran around before going to the pub. For a moment everything seemed fine, no one causing chaos or damage, just a big town, no, city, a big city to explore and it was doing well for itself. It was secluded from whatever was outside of those mountainous trees surrounding the place.

It was easy to hop and jump around, as per usual whenever Remy went on his adventures, the sun leaked in between the the leafy ceiling of the forest and the cracks between the trees, it must’ve been a blaring hot day, but the shade made everything much more comfortable. He doesn’t remember seeing the scene shift, now that he thinks about it, but then again the last thing he remembers was the lush jungle he tends to nap and enjoy with his friends. This city appears to be a close equivalent, but no sign of any familiar faces. Friendly or foe.

He retreated back to where he saw that pub earlier that day, he’s actually never been into one, or seen a city this advance, maybe when he was traveling around but nothing compares to this place. That’s when he meets the two lookalikes.
