Movie Night (Entry for the Christmas Banner Contest)

This is just an entry for the Christmas Banner Contest announced by Chef, the admin of the Pretty Blood Discord server. Bloon, Carl, Copper, Elma, and Luny were simply watching a movie, and I guess it's a Christmas-themed horror one, like Santa's Slay or something.

red snow is a wild form created when kramplex is under extreme stress or in danger. this causes her inner magic to run out of control in a sort of magical adrenaline rush causing her body to rapidly grow. this transformation increases her size and puts her in a sort of primal state with alternate memories to her normal self. while in this form she tends to wonder the forests and mountains causing snow storms and knocking down dead trees. she will use some of these trees to build dens for herself which to the standard human appear to be large mounds of snow with the trees on the inside acting as a support structure. red has appeared through history and it is said that some villages even have traditions to honor and give offerings to the wild beast to earn protection from the storms in the winter there are also stories of travelers who get lost in the snow but are rescued by this gentle giant and returned to a clearing in the woods. equally there are tales of travelers rumored to be rowdy and cruel who went missing in the woods during a blizzard with only stains of red snow being found down the paths they took.

red herself is a kind and shy creature usually wanting to stay to herself. she respects all forms of life and lives by the rules of nature only hunting and eating what she must to survive and protecting those who have kind hearts. but just like the cold harsh winter she can be a danger to those with dark intentions if she senses a rotten soul they will vanish never to be seen again.

I think his name will be Redsnow, but when he’s with his mates, he changes it to something he likes, cause he hates both the prefix and suffix being about his odd appearance.

He was active and hunting at night mostly cause he’s sensitive to sunlight, so maybe his new name comes from that? (Night, Moon, Nightfall—things he likes) That or he’s named after the skills he uses to help the group find a home. He has poor eyesight and he can practically figure out where he is and everything with his eyes closed (probably helps Aphid with her blindness). But can’t find a good-sounding name for that

UPDATE: Swamped with work, SOS

Just a quick little update, i'm still alive; albeit barely. I've been completely swamped with work. I actually got a job I really didn't expect id ever in my lifetime get, on top of me being focused on other writing commissions has made RedSnow work pretty slow-paced. Again, if you're pledged to my patreon, feel free to unsub because of the very slow updates; cause i'd do the same :P

BUT aside from the lame excuses of my general incompetency of time management, i'm drafting some pages up for the start of Aquila's romance, woo. Imm also in the process of revamping older chapters, because lore and continuity wise, it's making me cringe reading. Ugh. I really wish I started out with a smaller project, lol. Oh well.

Thats funny because in my language there's a saying "when red snow falls" which is the equivalent of "when pigs fall from the sky" meaning it's never going to happen

Renga, as a ship name, is fine and all, but if KaoruxKojiro gets to be named Matchablossom, then I feel LangaxReki really should have been named Snowred.

REMADE MY POSTER FOR RED SNOW: ALTERED

I was thinking about replacing my poster for my fanfiction "Red Snow: Altered" that I made back in May 2024. Because It's already outdated considering that I remastered my Flash rigs of "the Hostaged Five" and Here You Go. Pretty cool, right?

The one on the left is the remake whereas the right one is the original. Also, It's heavily inspired by a movie poster for Brothers (2009)
