A Young Lady and an Old Lady.

There was a knock on the door. I opened it to find one young lady and one old lady standing there. "Hello what a nice day it is," the young lady said. The old lady nodded. 

"We just want to talk to you for a bit. Do you ever feel like there are a lot of bad things going on in the world?" 

"Yes," I said. "Lots of bad things. But lots of nice things too thank you." 

Then I just started to shut the door in their face. The old lady looked sad, and that made me feel bad for the old lady (not the young one) so I said, "Sorry for shutting the door in the face but I just don't know how else to stop this conversation."

I’ve traveled the country learning about different cultures and their religions. I came to the realization that  saying my faith was the only way to God represented my close-mindedness. I do believe that Jesus is the way but I recognize the fact that He may not be the way for others. I know Jesus is real and all I can do is walk in that and shine my light for the world to see.

Is there a fairly large Muslim community in any one of the colleges?

Not as a far as I know but iSoc is pretty active (the uni wide Islamic society).

Why I Find Religion Odd

I recently realized that I find the question of religion harder and harder to answer the older I get....I would assume myself as a Catholic, but when I hear the Muslim adhān I also feel at peace, and I think the Hebrew prayers are beautiful. I saw the Our Father before I sleep each night, while at the same time I put amethyst and aventurine tumble stones under my pillow for good dreams, and jade and amazonite in my left pocket every day before work for good luck. I've beseeched a Greek deity on more than one occasion, and I've begged the Disir for a change in fortune. I guess you'd say I was a bizarre blend of the different elements.

Why I hate religion. This is a decent spoken word, but the message is so dope
