For some reason, the dnd:hat movie has been living rent-free in my head for over a week. Xenk is just rattling around in there right now, having a long talk with Kira about morality, mortality, personal sacrifice, and being a child who saw the Beckoning Death unleashed on their home.

I feel like Xenk would have a lot to say that Kira needs to hear, and be a good listener for the things Kira needs to talk about that she can't tell her dad or Holga. He'd probably benefit from talking to her, too. Kira almost experienced the same tragedy he did when he was her age. It would be cathartic for him to help her through that, knowing he helped save her from ever experiencing what he went through

I keep seeing people say that Edgin didnt cast any spells but i do not think thats true at all. You need to remember that hes a bard, a lot of bard spells are subtlety woven into words. I feel like folks just dont understand how bards work because he is actually an excellent example of what a bard would actually be like.

Yall expect all bards to be showy and flashy and flirty but i think Edgin is a perfect example of what a bard is actually about. Hes great at talking and great at persuasion. Hes charming even when people are mad at him.

You cannot tell me that man wasnt using suggestion, one of the most quintessential bard spells out there.

Just because he wasnt making things explode doesn't mean he wasnt casting spells. Bard spells just aren't usually visual.

Just found your class swap au and I have absolutely fallen in love! I'd love to hear basically everything about it! Especially like what subclasses they might be!

Also the art is so so so good!!! They're all so expressive!!! Ahhhhh!!! I'm just here screaming as I look at they over and over again!!!

thank you I'm glad ur enjoying ur time here! we don't got everything in place yet (bc that requires like, writing lol) but I do have some ideas of subclasses if that's what ur looking for here. riz I'm thinking college of whispers -> college of lore, gorgug's domain of peace -> domain of twilight, fabian I think starts out as phantom rogue and then swashbuckling rogue + some levels in ranger? kristen I think starts out with wild magic idk if she'd move away from that. maybe lunar sorcery? fig is currently either path of the giant or totem warrior but I imagine she will also pick up at least two more classes (paladin definitely one of them which lol. lmao). adaine I'm thinking battlesmith -> armorer + some levels in fighter. that's about it for now
