“Hirogaru Sky! Precure”, le plein d’infos!
La prochaine Saison de Precure est officielle, place aux infos!
(Je mettrais à jour si des nouvelles arrivent)
- Titre -
Tout d’abord,le nom de cette Saison: “Hirogaru Sky! Precure”
On pourrait traduire ça par: “Les Precure du ciel infini” ou bien “Prenez votre envol! Precure”. Mais il s’agît aussi d’un jeu de mot pour un des thèmes de cette Saison “Hero Girls Sky! Precure” et sachant qu’elles s’appellent les “Sky Precure”, il faut garder ça intact.
- Le Staff -
Ogawa Kouji (”World Trigger”, “GeGeGe no Kitarō”, “Precure All Stars New Stage 2: Kokoro no Tomodachi”, “Precure All Stars New Stage 3: Eien no Tomodachi”) va diriger l’Anime chez Toei. Kingetsu Ryunosuke (”Futakoi Alternative”, “Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!”, “Ulysses: Jeanne d'Arc to Renkin no Kishi ”) s’occupe des scripts, et Saitō Atsushi (”Love Live! Superstar!!”, “Black Fox”) est en charge du design des persos.
Imai Miki est l’Art Designer, et Kadoguchi Aya l’Artiste en chef. Yanagisawa Kumiko est en charge des couleurs tandis que Fukasawa Erika (”Just Because!”, assistant on "Kimi no Na wa”.) s’occupe des musiques.

Sora Harewataaru/Cure Sky, la Precure des cieux:
Notre héroïne principale doublée par Sekina Akira (Fujimaru Ritsuka dans “Fate/GO” ou bien Princess dans “Princess Principal”). Une athlétique jeune fille de 14 ans en provenance de Sky Land, le royaume flottant dans les cieux. Elle s’entraîne tous les jours depuis sa tendre enfance pour devenir une héroïne, comme la personne qui l’a sauvée par le passé. Elle se transforme en Cure Sky avec la phrase: “Un ciel bleu qui s’étend à l’infini! Cure Sky!“
Nijigaoka Mashiro/Cure Prism, la Precure de la lumière:
Une jeune fille de 14 ans qui habite à Sorashido doublée par Kakuma Ai (Rabirin dans “Healin’Good Precure”, Eldegard dans “Fire Emblem”, Unicorn dans “Azur Lane”, Aiko dans “Arifureta”) . Mashiro est gentille et douce, et est passionnée de cuisine et de nature. Elle vie avec sa grand-mère, Yoyo, tandis que ses parents travaillent à l’étranger. Elle est surnommée "Mashiron". Elle se transforme en Cure Prism avec la phrase: “Une douce lumière qui s’étend gentiment! Cure Prism!”
El-chan, la Princesse de Skyland:
La jeune princesse de Skyland doublée par Koga Aoi (Paimon dans “Genshin”, Kaguya dans “Kaguya-sama”, Shōko Komi dans “ Comi-san wa Comyushō desu”). El-chan est arrivée à Sorashido avec Sora après s’être fait enlever. Elle a le pouvoir de créer des Sky Tones, les objets qui permettent aux Precure de se transformer.

Fantasy World Hoshi
is hot!
This ranking quest introduces a new series of tamashii set in a parallel world with a fantasy theme. Interestingly, the figurative and literal “hero in the spotlight” this time is Hoshi.
Spoiler warning: for both this ranking story and the Shoumetsu Toshi 0 main story.
Fantasy world Hoshi grew up not being particularly good at anything. But one day he wakes up with a legendary sword next to him: the sword has ‘chosen’ him and he is destined to be the Hero of Hope who must slay the Demon King in this world.
Takuya and Yuki encounter Hoshi when they get thrown into the fantasy parallel world for seemingly no reason. They figure if they defeat the Demon King they'll be able to go home. By the way, the Demon King is Airi. And Beo is here too.
“I forgot if you were a child actor or a famous actress but either way, I’m looking forward to the show!”
In true fantasy world fashion, their journey also involves a two part sidequest, courtesy of Fantasy Yui and Mii.
“Please defeat the evil Demon King’s henchman, the Alchemist, Port Ellen!”
Port Ellen, is doing horrible things to the cute forest animals and we must save them. He is actually making all of them macho by giving them muscles (steroid injection?). This is a pun on renkin, which usually means transmuting gold, but there’s a kanji for kin that means muscle.
He’s not refining gold, he’s refining muscles!
The Hoshi in this world has also tragically fallen for Yuki. Her light fills his heart, she is his ‘star’. But just as stars shine in the sky out of reach, Hoshi knows they can’t be together. Once they defeat Airi, Yuki will leave. Hoshi sees his future as hopeless, how is someone like him supposed to be the “Hero of Hope”?
Seemingly to make him even more miserable, Yuina the travelling bard asks to sing him a song. The lyrics are full of the wishes and expectations of the people to the hero, a hero who is like a stranger to Hoshi.
In a reflective monologue, Hoshi reveals he wanted to quit being the hero. When the people around him found out he had been selected by the sword, they cheered and said now Hoshi who’s not good at anything finally has a purpose. But that label only became a burden to him.
Suddenly Airi appears. She is incredibly powerful and Hoshi asks Yuki to give up and runaway with him. Of course she doesn’t, triggering another internal reflection.
Hoshi remembers when they helped Yui and Mii. Yui had said that now that the legendary hero was finally standing in front of her, he suddenly felt more like an ordinary person. When Mii was thanking Hoshi she explicitly said she wanted to thank him, and not some nameless “hero”.
“The person we want to thank is not just some ‘hero’. We want to thank ‘you’, who helped us, and is standing in front of us now.”
Hoshi realises that he really does want to become a star to the people like Yuki was to him (the irony being that Hoshi literally translates to star).
I will become a star. I will become a hero. I will take down Demon King Airi as the “Hero” of this world.
We win the battle but Airi escapes. The townspeople come to thank their hero, but in a symbolically significant gesture, he asks them to call him “Hoshi”, not “hero”.
He must say goodbye to Yuki too.
“I really don't want you to leave. I want us to go on more adventures together. But I know that’s not possible so I’ve decided to farewell you with a smile.‘
Hoshi’s final set of dialogue shows remarkable maturity and character development. He has not only resolved to live on in a world without Yuki, but also try to actively enjoy it. Without the burden of being a hero anymore, he wants to try seeing the world through Yuki’s eyes, and find the joy and wonder she found in his world. Meaning he has changed his viewpoint that without the title of hero, he is nothing.
But the story we see doesn’t end there. In a plot twist, it is revealed the one who bestowed the sword onto Hoshi was Beo himself (are these really plot twists anymore? The culprit’s always him these days). It seems tarot cards aren’t the only tools this God possesses to screw up people’s lives…
“Wasn’t it you who gave him the ‘Sword of Hope’ in the first place?”
This ranking event was framed as a conventional hero’s adventure: it plays almost exactly how you would expect a generic fantasy RPG to, from the NPCs dressed like travellers/low level mages, to having a final boss fight after a couple of ‘main’ quests. Shoumetsu Toshi actually subverts the audience expectations of this popular formula, by giving us an unconventional hero whose pessimism contrasts with the sense of wonder and adventure a fantasy world would usually invoke.
However there is also another meta layer to this. When we observe a story, especially one in a fantasy setting, we are conscious that it is not real. There is a distance between us as an audience, and the characters and events happening in the story. Similarly, there is now also a prominent ‘observer’ in the parallel world. Beo is basically watching a ‘performance’. He makes this clear by explicitly making reference to Airi being an actor on a stage, and Airi also says herself: “playing the role of the Demon King was also pretty fun”. This is indeed a reference to the Airi in our world being a famous child actor, but it also emphasises that Beo sees the whole thing as something like a theatrical play. That is, messing with people’s lives even in parallel universes is a source of fun; the people in the world he created exist purely to entertain him.
Beo’s role in this ranking event, combined with the newfound knowledge we have about him (courtesy of Shoumetsu Toshi 0), add a new dimension to these parallel world stories.
Up to now, the pattern I’ve been seeing is that even in parallel worlds, a character’s fate is unchangeable. We now know there might be a reason for this (hint: his name starts with B).
Hoshi initially seems to follow this trend too. It is very easy to see the similarities between main story Hoshi and fantasy Hoshi. He’s got that defeatist attitude (”I’ll never find my happy ending”), he is drawn to Yuki, his symbol of hope, and he gets tossed around by fate against his will (Hoshi in world 1 became a human test subject purely because of who his parents were). But interestingly, this time with Yuki’s intervention, it seems Hoshi was able to have a proper happy ending.
I feel it is important to note here that having Takuya and Yuki interfere was never part of Beo’s intentions. Near the start of the quest he says to Airi: “Why are Takuya-kun and Yuki-chan in this world?” So, if Beo didn’t bring them here, who did? Does this mean there is a being stronger than Beo who has the ability to change fates?
Anyway this quest was super meta but it was also super enjoyable, with a good mix of humour, adventure, and despair. I’m not sure future fantasy world events will have as much depth as this one but I’m already invested in this new parallel world so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't know if you've done it before or not, but could you please possibly recommend some kaishin fics that aren't on ao3?
I assume you mean ff.net in that case? I haven’t really posted all the fic I like from there, so I’ll do my best to collect some. (All titles will be hyperlinked.) These are in no particular order, and there will be a readmore because this is one long list. I hope you enjoy them!
Alright, for starters, if you’re on ff.net for DCMK, you should be reading Luna’s fic. You can find her [here]. I’ve enjoyed all of her fic, and she has a LOT. Quality AND Quantity!
If you’re looking for long fic, I’ve always enjoyed Alaena F. Dragonstar’s fic. I’d list out my favorites, but they wrote Midnight White, Outlaw Hearts, etc. I’ve read and enjoyed all of them, tbh. You can find them [here].
allietheepic7 is writing a super cute collection of AU drabbles that you can find [here]! They’re ongoing, which is always awesome. Some of the AUs are even being converted into longer fic!
dc-kyun has some really cute drabbles and one shots, found [here]. They were on tumblr as kyunyo for a long time, though I’m not sure if they still are. They changed fandoms, so *shrugs*
Kaitou Kid’s Kiss Heist by Monti B. Lewis–A classic, tbh. I favorited it half an age ago, but I still reread it on occasion. A cute fic, well worth the read.
The Seduction of Kid and The Seduction of Kudou by White Mage Koori–Easily some of my favorite fic. Honestly, I’ve reread them both like four times. They’re written as a drabble series, but they have an excellent overarching plot line. I’m tempted to reread them again, tbh (You should check out Koori’s other DCMK fic as well, for good measure.)
Carpe Noctem by White Mage Koori–One of the only vampire AUs I remember reading. Delightfully dark and wonderfully creepy, if I’m remembering it right. Worth a try in any case. ;D
I’ve Come to Call You Mine by shizuke–Another one from my favorites. Kid takes Shinichi’s place in class for a day and then the reverse. A cute one shot.
Broken Rules by etceterae–A great flustered!Kaito fic. Another from my favorites as well.
Take it or Leave it by alshoruzen–This one is an arranged marriage AU, ongoing, that hasn’t updated in a while, but maybe if you guys leave nice comments, they’ll think about continuing. Regardless, it’s Excellent and one of my fave tropes. ;D This is another author where I think you should just read most if not all of their work. Definitely worth it, and there’s quite a bit of it.
Drowning in Fear by Mikauzoran–I remember this one being pretty funny. A heist set in an aquarium, Kaito’s worst nightmare haha
The Dove Prince by starsinjars–Another incomplete fic, but this one’s also really cute. It’s the Swan Princess only Kaishin, haha. Their other stuff is good too, so you should check out the other things they’ve written.
Infinite Loop by Shimegami–Again, incomplete, but has a really interesting premise. Basically, Kaito and Shinichi get sent to another reality where they don’t exist thanks to a magic gem (not Pandora).
Just Kid-ding Around by Renkin-chan–You know, I think I forgot how many fic I was following for this fandom. *shakes head* Whatever this was, I was interested enough to follow it. I don’t remember the plot, but I wouldn’t have followed it if I wasn’t interested in seeing the conclusion.
Criminal Intent by Xialdon–Incomplete. I’m not sure what the plot was, but it looks like Kaito pursuing Shinichi after a heist?
Wonderland Dreams by Monti B. Lewis–Pretty much exactly as it sounds. Shinichi has dreams based around Alice in Wonderland. Kaitou Kid stars pretty strongly in them.
Gyakuun by Marie9–Incomplete, but a Reverse ‘verse AU. Detective Kaito (shrunk a la Conan) and (I think) Thief Shinichi.

Ever the entertainer with an ear-to-ear smile that lights up a room, Kannon Kurowski always knew he wanted to be an actor. Having performed for films, commercials, television, and video games, Kannon has proven to be talented and versatile, with strong improv and comedic skills. While he enjoys performing in all forms of media, providing the voice of the series regular role of Eddie for "Little People" is one of his favorite projects. Kannon can also be heard along side Jackie Chan and James Hong in the English version of the 2015 Chinese Animated film, “The Monkey King: Hero Is Back”.
