Okay. So, if you remember me this is probably gonna be predictable, but. If I may request it yet again, Michael/John

I don't mind what kind, but preferably something fluffy! I think it'd be a fun challenge to try to make something like that between them

ahh sorry for the delay! okay so i was going to go for fluffy but then i saw this prompt on the list and the idea kinda. got away from me 😅 i'm still really happy with it tho bc john and michael are honestly everything (it's kinda long hope you don't mind!)

30- A kiss to a scar, birthmark, injury, or other marking

"We were wrong."

Michael isn't expecting to hear those words from anyone, much less the Lantean's who did this to him. He turned to glare at the Colonel- Sheppard.

"You finally figured that out? What, am I supposed to congratulate you?" Michael sneered.

"No. Just thought you'd want to know. Beckett isn't going to continue with the retrovirus work." He shrugged as he spoke, and Michael felt his anger grow at the staged nonchalance.

"Don't pretend for a second that you care about what I want, Colonel. You'll never give it to me anyways, so stop acting like you will." Michael snapped in response, glaring at Sheppard with all the anger he could.

"See, the thing is," he continued in that lazy drawl, and Michael hated him all the more for it, "we can't let you go because we can't trust you yet. But if we knew we could trust you, well, you would make a hell of an ally."

Michael laughed. "You can't trust me? You captured me, tortured me, experimented on me, and you think I should earn your trust? What is that saying your people have, go to hell?"

Sheppard took a few steps across the room, and Michael backed up instinctively. Sheppard raised his hands.

"Look, I get it. Trust me, I get it a lot more than you realize. I was the one who told Beckett to stop the research, alright? We were wrong, and we had no right to do that to you."

"And what possible incentive could you have had to do that? What, did Ronon threaten you?"

Sheppard huffed out a laugh, raising his hand to rub at the back of his neck. He seemed... nervous. "I know... I know what it's like, okay? To have the retrovirus forcibly change you like that. It's... It was torture, and that's what we did to you. What we were going to do again. And we need to be better than that."

Michael knew he should be angry, that he should lash out, but he was stuck on something Sheppard said.

"How do you know?"

Sheppard sighed, looking down for just a second before meeting Michael's eyes again. "Long story short, I got infected with an early version of it. It obviously didn't work as intended yet, so I... started changing into a bug. It was- it was awful, and terrible, and it's not something I would wish on my worst enemy. Literally."

Michael felt something start to burn inside him, a hunger he had never felt before.

"You were changed too?"

Sheppard held out his arm, running his finger over a round scar on his forearm. "A Wraith took the retrovirus before it was ready, messed her up badly. I got infected when she tried to feed on me, and it almost killed me. I don't- I don't want the same thing to happen to you."

Michael reached out his arm, his skin burning where his hand made contact with Sheppard's arm. He traced the scarred skin delicately, before slowly leaning down to kiss it. The skin was surprisingly soft, and the sharp breath in that Sheppard took when his lips made contact morphed into a low moan when his tongue darted out, circling the area around the scar.

"Michael," Sheppard groaned out, his voice heavy with want.

"I think you should give me something I want for once, John," Michael whispered against his skin, before leaning up and pulling Sheppard down to kiss him.
