I’m Your Papi
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Paring: Rhea Ripley x Andrade
Summary: Rhea has a new papi.
Warnings; smut, cheating, unprotected sex.
Word Count: 1.6k
A/n: This was supposed to be a very short draft but I got carried away…
Tumblr media
Rhea stood next to Dom who was talking to Andrade. She had been eye fucking him ever since he stepped in the room. She was so focused on stripping the man naked in her mind that she didn’t realize Dom had asked her a question.
“The Judgment Day is a very exclusive club and not everyone gets an opportunity to get in. Right, Mami?”
“Hm? Oh- yes. I heard you have a match later on today, right?”
“That is right.” Andrade said with his thick accent.
“We’ll be watching then.” She shook his hand with a flirtatious smile on her face before he left. Her eyes followed his figure until he was out of sight. She turned to look at Dom who was giving her a weird look.
“Are you okay, Mami?”
“Yeah, of course.”
“Okay. If you say so.” Dom replied, still unsure. Right in that second, Damian and Finn came in talking about DIY winning their qualifying match for WrestleMania.
“We need to keep an eye on em, big man.” Finn said.
“I completely agree. This ain’t going to be an easy match,” Damian placed his arms around Finn, “We need to stay focused.” Finn nodded in agreement then turned to look at Rhea and Dom.
“Now that we’re done talking about DIY, what are we going to do about Ricochet?” Finn asked.
“I was thinking my Latino heat could take care of that,” Rhea placed her hand on Dom's shoulder, “Right, Dom Dom?” She smiled at him.
“O-of course, Mami.”
“Alright, then it’s settled. Why don’t you go get ready while I talk to Pearce, hm?”
“Yeah, I’ll go do that.” Dom walked away while Rhea made her way to Pearce’s office.
Tumblr media
Rhea was on her way back to the judgment day’s clubhouse when she, once again, came across Andrade who was stretching.
“Getting ready for your match?” Andrade quickly turned at the sound of her voice.
“I am. You’ll be watching, right?” He smirked.
“Of course I will. I would wish you good luck but I don’t think you’ll need it.”
“Thank you either way. I’ll see you after my match, hermosa.” He winked at her before heading to gorilla. She bit her lip before continuing her way back to the clubhouse. When she got back she informed Dom his match was right after Andrade’s. They all sat down to watch his match. Andrade was going against Apollo Crews.
The match didn’t last long. Andrade had Apollo exactly where he wanted him in less than two minutes. He did his finisher and-
“1…2…3! Here’s your winner, Andrade!” The ref rose his arm in the air before he slid out of the ring and walked backstage. When he got there, Rhea was already there waiting for him.
“I didn’t doubt for a second that you would win.” She said once he stood in front of her.
“Really? You seem to have a lot of faith in me then.” Rhea only smiled in reply. He suddenly leaned down towards her ear.
“Why don’t you meet me in my locker room, Mami? While your Latino heat does his thing against Ricochet?” She hesitated for a split second before responding.
“I will be there.” She assured.
“See you then.” Right as he walked away, Dom was making his way to Rhea.
“Hey, Mami. What was that about?”
“Oh, nothing. Just small talk- but anyway. Are you ready for your match?”
“Mhm.” He hummed. Right then, his music hit.
“That’s your queue. Don’t disappoint me.”
“You aren’t going out with me?” Dom asked with sadness in his voice.
“No. I have something to take care of, okay? I promise I’ll be right here when you win.” She kissed his cheek before walking off.
-A few minutes later-
Rhea stood in front of Andrade’s locker room door. She looked around before knocking. A couple seconds later Andrade opened the door. A towel wrapped around his waist, his wet hair laying on his shoulders, and water droplets all over his chest. She just stared until he finally pulled her out of her trance.
“Are you just gonna stand there or are you going to come in?” Rhea came back to her senses and stepped inside, locking the door behind her.
“Do we need to do small talk or can we get straight to the point?”
“Let’s get right to business.” Rhea quickly took off her shirt and jumped on him, wrapping her legs around his waist. She pressed her lips against his. It was messy. Both of them fought for dominance until he took a hold of her jaw and pulled away.
“Uh uh. Conmigo, yo soy tu papi, entendido? I’m in charge whether you like it or not. It’s up to you.” Rhea was taken aback by his statement but also turned on. Her stubborn self wanted to get up and leave but another part of her wanted to stay and get dominated for once.
“Whatever you want…papi.” She said once she finally made up her mind. He chuckled before taking a seat on his couch with Rhea straddling his lap. They continued making out, their tongues in each other’s throats. Rhea’s hands were gripping his hair while his laid on her waist.
He soon started leaving a trail of kisses from her jaw to her neck and finally, her collarbone. His hands moved up her back and took a hold of the clip of her bra.
“Can I take this off, hermosa?” She nodded. He took his time unclipping her bra and taking it off her shoulders. He took one of her breasts in his mouth and sucked.
“Hmm…don’t leave a mark-”
“Por qué? You don’t want your ‘Latino heat’ to find out?” He mocked. Rhea only pouted and shook her head.
“Don’t worry your pretty little head about that, okay? I’ll make sure he never finds out how submissive you are for papi.” She whined at his statement and hid her face in his neck.
“Please…”
“Please what, muñeca? What do you want?” He ran his fingers through her jet black hair.
“I want you. I want you to fuck me. Please?”
“Since you asked so nicely,” he hooked his finger around her waistband, “Why don’t we take these off?” Rhea lifted her hips and he helped her take off her pants along with her panties. He unwrapped the towel from his waist, freeing his hardened member. With his hands on her hips, he aligned himself with her entrance and slowly lowered her body down on his cock.
“F-fuck…” Rhea wrapped her arms around Andrade’s neck. She started to bounce up and down his cock, shuddering every time she bottomed out. Her quiet moans soon got louder and Andrade was enjoying every second of it. He looked down to where their bodies were connecting and noticed how a belly bulge formed each time his cock went in.
“God, baby, look at you,” he pressed his hand against the bulge, “You feel that? You feel how deep papi’s in your guts? I’m going to fill you up nice and full.” He flipped them over so that Rhea was now laying on her back with her legs over Andrade’s shoulders. He started pounding into her pussy full force, letting all his pent up energy out. Rhea became sensitive and tried to push Andrade away but he took her wrist and pinned them above her head.
“Papi-”
“Shhh, let me have you. Just a little longer.” He assured.
“I c-can’t-”
“Yes, you can, mami. You’re going to feel good, I promise.” He slowed down his thrusts a bit after he noticed how sensitive she was. He brought his free hand down towards her pussy. He gently started rubbing her clit, watching her mouth fall open with desperate moans.
“Papi, I’m c-close…”
“Yeah? Are you going cum for me?”
“Yes-”
“That’s right. Come all over my cock.” He sped up once again, making it his mission to make her scream his name. He let go of her hands and let her cling to him as she went over the edge and rode her orgasm. Her whines alone made him reach his climax. He released his load inside of her before laying back down on the couch with her body on top of his, not pulling out just yet.
“Are you okay?” he brushed her hair away from her face, “How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay, just a bit sensitive.”
“You want me to pull out?” She shook her head ‘no’. He chuckled a bit before hugging her body closer to his and kissing her forehead. Right then they heard the crowd in the arena cheering and Rhea remembered what she told Dom.
“Shit- I have to go!” She scrambled to get up, putting her bra and shirt on.
“Why?” Andrade asked as he sat up.
“I promised Dom I would be waiting for him at gorilla after his match.” He scoffed and shook his head. Rhea found her pant but she couldn’t find her underwear.
“Goddamnit- where are my panties?” She asked, a bit irritated.
“You mean these?” He raised them up for her to see. Shea reached up to grab them but he quickly snatched them away.
“Andrade, I need those.”
“No you don’t.”
“Give them to me!”
“Maybe you’ll get ‘em back the next time I see you.”
“How do you know there will be a next time?”
“I know you’ll come back to papi.” He winked and she blushed in response. She took a deep breath before putting her pants on and walking out but not before giving him one last look.

Maybe we could get some Charlotte/Rhea/Andrade with sub!rhea🫣
CHARLOTTE/ANDRADE/RHEA HEADCANNONS
(i also have a fic coming out soon, keep an eye out!)
NSFW
• food play was something rhea never thought she would try out, until she met the couple. now, it’s not uncommon for her to send them *photos* with nothing but whipped cream covering her
• rhea has a HUGE oral fixation. she’s happy sucking dick or strap, tits, or even fingers. once, she absentmindedly started to suck on charlottes fingers, and only realised when charlotte chuckled at her airhead of a girlfriend.
• when it comes to rhea, the two love teasing her. (eg; maybe i should just fuck mommy tonight, huh, baby?)
• maybe it’s a marriage thing, but both charlotte and andrade have a look. one that can make rhea drop to her knees, one that can make her do anything they want.
• charlotte and andrade clicker-trained rhea. with just a few clicks, she’s deep into sub-headspace, and ready to play with.

Re-Drafting the 2020 WWE Draft
Note: I will only be putting the superstars who should’ve switched brands or stayed in their respective brands and why. If you don’t see your favorite superstar here it means I agree with the booking decision that was done to switch them to another brand or the decision to let them stay on the brand they were already on. I will be throwing in NXT into the mix just for fun. But it’s Raw & Smackdown superstars going to NXT via free agency.
Billie Kay
Drafted to: RAW/NXT
Okay, I’m already cheating a little bit but hear me out. Imagine Billie in “The Robert Stone Brand” that would just be the perfect match. That team with Billie and Stone, and as long as they recruit more credible talent, would be a fun angle. And if not NXT, I wanted her to stay on Raw. For two reasons. First, I just want “The IIconics” to reunite. Like it was beyond weird to see them split up for no good reason. The second one is, If we don’t get a reunion I want a heated Gentlewoman’s Match between them. Her and Peyton don’t have to have an issue. They could meet in a # 1 contender’s match or a tournament final. I just want them to face off if they’re not gonna reunite soon.
Andrade
Drafted to: NXT (Via Free Agency)
This has been speculated on social media since the draft happened. He’ll probably comeback to NXT and do a Moose-like angle reminiscent of what Impact is doing. Have him comeback with the NXT Title and claim he’s world champion out of the blue. Let me add a little something, I hope he comes back with the original NXT title design with the big “X”. that would be so cool. This booking could thrust him into the main event scene right off the bat while Finn Balor recovers for 6 weeks, at the time of writing, and Kyle O’Reilly as well.
Sasha Banks
Drafted to: RAW
I just want her and Bayley to be apart until the Rumble or ‘Mania. I’m not a big fan of this storyline, I honestly think it should’ve happened years ago so it doesn’t personally appeal to me as much. But, if we’re gonna do it right. Let Sasha win the Women’s Rumble and challenger for the Smackdown Women’s Championship and win it. It’s easy to book. But WWE decided to put her on the Blue brand. Hopefully this storyline doesn’t run out of steam at least until ‘Mania time.
Heavy Machinery
Drafted to: RAW/Smackdown
I’m gonna keep this short and sweet, that’s why I bundled Otis & Tucker together. No offense to both men, but they’re only good as a Tag Team. Otis’s win at MITB was different but realistically he’s not gonna beat whoever’s champion whether it’s McIntyre, Reigns, Orton, Etc. They should’ve stayed together on whatever brand. And Otis should cash in on a Tag Team and let them win the tag titles TOGETHER. Apart both men are gonna flounder in the lower singles card.
Big E
Drafted to: RAW
“The New Day” shouldn’t have split up it’s as easy that. And I know they wanna push Big E to the top but read my “Wave of the Future - Fantasy booking WWE” post here on Tumblr and you’ll know it could’ve been possible still without breaking them up.
Ricochet
Drafted to: NXT (Via Free Agency)
It’s time “The One and Only” comes back home. Imagine bouts with the likes of Damian Priest for the North American Title or better yet a showdown with Santos Escobar for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. I hate how they book him on the main roster. Just let him come back to where he belongs.
Matt Riddle
Drafted to: Smackdown
I just want his real life animosity with Seth Rollins to become a storyline. As we’ve seen with the Edge/Hardy feud. Real tension makes a good storyline. No other reason than that. I want a hard-hitting but professional contest between these two. They’re professionals after all, I’m sure like with Matt and Edge. They could’ve acted civil enough with each other to put on high-quality matches. And a little side note, Goldberg seems to be on Smackdown so the door is wide open for them still fight each other at a big showcase.
Rey Mysterio
Drafted to: NXT (Via Free Agency)
I just want to see Mysterio Vs. Escobar at a Takeover in a 2 out of 3 falls match for the Title. Is that too much to ask? Santos is running out of opponents, well, credible opponents. Why not inject the Cruiserweight division with probably the Greatest Cruiserweight of all-time in Rey.
Dominik Mysterio
Drafted to: Smackdown
As you might have noticed I split up the Mysterio Father-Son duo. know, I know. He was drafted to Smackdown. But with his Father. I want him to go there alone, on his own. Let him do his own thing, since Smackdown is known as the brand for work horses. Let him have spectacular matches with the likes of Sami Zayn, Shorty G, Daniel Bryan, Etc. This kid needs to pave his own way.
Keith Lee
Drafted to: Smackdown
For the full story, read my Fantasy booking piece. But TL;DR. He could have amazing matches with Sami Zayn and capture the IC title. Defend it until he’s ready to conquer Reigns at the Showcase of the Immortals. I don’t know how they’re screwing him up on Raw but it’s so easy to book “The Limitless One”.
King Corbin -
Drafted to: RAW
Corbin has done everything he can on Smackdown. Let him be a nuisance on Monday Night Raw. A change of scenery. Fresh matches and just a brand new stomping ground could remedy his already stale character.
Mickie James
Drafted to: NXT
As much as I want her to have a legacy run with either of the Blue or Red brand’s title. It’s not gonna happen. So let’s just put her in NXT. Like Rey, she could elevate young talent like Shotzi Blackhart or Dakota Kai for example. Have amazing matches for the rest of her career maybe even win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with an up and comer from the yellow brand. Just let Mickie do her thing and end her career in a good way.
Bo Dallas
Drafted to: NXT (Via Free Agency)
I wanted to “Bo-lieve” that he was the insurgent. I really did. I loved him as NXT Champion. Well, as we know now “The Insurgent” is Ember Moon. But we can still have come back to NXT. Be a mentor to the younger guys. Maybe even be a top contender for the North American Title. Or if Andrade doesn’t want to come back as a sham delusional champion. Why not let Bo Dallas do that, with the original big “X” NXT title design of course, that would be amazing. Just let us #Bolieve again.
Carmella
Drafted to: RAW
Like Corbin, Carmella needs a change of scenery. She’s doing nothing at the moment. She’s about repackaged as like an “Emmalina” type of character. I think it’s going to work better on Raw since the Red brand is known for having outlandish characters anyway. Maybe a “Fabulous Truth” reunion is in the works too.
Humberto Carrillo
Drafted to: NXT (Via Free Agency)
Humberto had a decent start on the main roster when he first got there but I think he needs to go to NXT. He’s floating around Raw doing random matches. He was part of the Mysterio-Rollins angle but he was nothing more than a footnote. I feel he could be a major player in the Cruiserweight division in NXT. I like the kid he’s so talented. They just have to let him do what he does best and that’s wrestle actually meaningful matches.
Charlotte Flair
Drafted to : NXT (Via Free Agency)
It’s far-fetched in real life or storyline for either main roster brands to not draft Charlotte. But she’s on the shelf right now and it’s quite cool to think that she’d want to sign with NXT because she has unfinished business there. Her NXT Women’s title run was too short for my taste, although in hindsight it resulted in Io Shirai winning the title so that’s good. But I would’ve loved to see her had an extended run in NXT with the crop of talent they have there. She would put on great bouts with Storm, Kai, Lerae and of course Rhea Ripley as well as a one on one rematch with Io Shirai would most likely be in the cards. And hey, Andrade most likely will sign with NXT anyway and they’re a couple and WWE is more open to keeping couples together so that might be a huge factor as well.
Braun Strowman
Drafted to: Smackdown
Reigns needs a credible enough threat after this Jey Uso feud is over. At least until the Royal Rumble. Strowman is the main man to do that. He’s a former Universal champion who didn’t get his due diligence in terms of having the opportunity to earn a rematch to reclaim his title. It’s enough of a reason for him to stay on the blue brand. And besides I don’t want to see him face off against “The Fiend” again over on Raw. It ran it’s course far too long ago.

Pro wrestling au) How did the opening match between VCW, AEW, and WWE go? And who were the other competitor's in the fatal four way?
///I hope this turned out well!///
"Wait a minute! McIntyre hits the Last Shot on Cole! Ryder hits the Paradigm Shift on Moxley!" Jace exclaimed into the headset as the crowd roared in cheers, "Both Drew and Ryder go for the pin but Ryder is slow to cover Moxley! One! Two! Three!"
"Here is the winner of the match, Drew McIntyre!" The announcer called to the audience as Gallantry, McIntyre's entrance theme began to play and the Scottish Psychopath started to celebrate his win as Ryder looked on in shock.
"The Drew McIntyre is your winner, ladies and gentlemen!" Jace said to the fans around Remnant and Earth, "He's been on an absolute tear building up to Wrestlemania and after he beat Brock Lesnar, and it doesn't look like he's stopping!"
"That's right, folks. As much as I hate to say it, Drew deserved that win after the effort he showed," Good ol' Jim Ross said right next to him at the table, "There was a lot of back an' forth in this match between all these talented wrestlers. I won't lie that I'm upset Moxley lost since I'm an AEW guy, but I take nothin' away from the WWE Champion. Been a long time since I've said that."
"You can't take away anything from any of these guys," Jace added, a huge grin on his face, "You can expect more things from these guys in the future. I know Ryder's gonna want a match with Moxley to settle this, and Cole may just want to avenge his loss to his own move. Plus with that finish, we may be looking at McIntyre vs Argent in the future."
JR turned to Jace. "Jace it's a pleasure meeting you here on this historic night. You did great callin' your first match. How was it?"
"JR, you don't know how much of an honor this is for me," Jace began to say as Drew left and the other competitors followed, "This is my first night calling a match, on a night where three pro wrestling companies banded together in unity to provide entertainment to all their fans around our worlds, and I'm doing it next to an absolute commentary legend like you. It makes me feel excited for the rest of the night, and all our future shows together."
JR nodded at the answer. "Well, you want to tell all our wonderful fans what's in store tonight?"
Jace grinned. "Gladly. Still to come tonight, we have so much for you. Next up we have two brothers, both now from rival companies competing. WWE'S Jeff Hardy and AEW's 'Broken' Matt Hardy square off in singles action and later on tonight, we have the Lucha Brothers vs The Revival, two extremely talented tag teams. Later on tonight we have a women's Fatal Five Way champion vs champion match between AEW's Nyla Rose, and from WWE we have Raw's Becky Lynch, Smackdown's Bayley, NXT's Rhea Ripley, and from VCW we have my daughter Ebony Reznor. And for our main event, it's another Fatal Four Way champion vs champion match between Raw's United State's champion Andrade Cien Almas, Smackdown's Intercontinental champion Sami Zayn, NXT's North American champion Keith Lee, and VCW's X-Division champion Wave Aideen. That's just a few things we have lined up for you tonight everyone. To everyone on Earth, we hope you enjoy. Damn, that's a mouthful."
JR laughed. "You get used to it. Don't go anywhere folks, we'll be back soon from commercial break."

Oh the Horror! Or is it the Horror Show at Extreme Rules!
We are now just one week away from the next WWE PPV in the COVID-19 pandemic era from the Performance Center. This PPV is usually built around the gimmicks and this year is no different. We’ll get a Swamp Match from Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman for the Universal Title. We’ll get an Eye for an Eye (or whatever that means) Match between Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins. It’ll be a Bar Fight between Jeff Hardy and Sheamus and so much more.
Dolph Ziggler is waiting to tell the World what the stipulation will be against Drew McIntyre for his WWE Championship. It’s building to be a pretty decent PPV. I would expect the Swamp Match to be cinematic of course. It’ll be interesting to see how they incorporate the wetlands into their history. My expectations aren’t very high, so here’s hoping!
I expect Asuka vs. Sasha Banks to steal the show too! Could it be time for Sasha and Bayley to wear ALL the women’s gold in the WWE. I think so!
It’s hard to imagine that SummerSlam is one month away and we are still in the crowd-less era. Who would’ve ever thought that would be. It will be interesting to see how New Japan Wrestling handles their first event with fans, roughly 3,500 for this weekend’s event in Japan. But, things are so different here in the United States that I don’t see fans in the stands anytime soon with all the spikes we are getting, especially with the WWE based in Florida these days, the new epicenter of the coronavirus.
But, with that in mind, here’s where we stand:
Extreme Rules – Horror Show – Updated Card
WWE Championship Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler
RAW Women’s Championship Match: Asuka vs. Sasha Banks
Universal Championship Swamp Match: Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt
SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bayley vs. Nikki Cross
Eye for an Eye Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins
United States Championship Match: Apollo Crews vs. MVP
Bar Fight: Sheamus vs. Jeff Hardy
Tumblr media
Star of the Week – Ketih Lee – No explanation needed!
RAW
RESULTS
WWE Championship Non-Title Match: Drew McIntyre defeated Heath Slater
Kairi Sane vs. Sasha Banks ended in no-contest
Rey Mysterio & Kevin Owens defeated Seth Rollins & Buddy Murphy – Mysterio picks Eye for an Eye Match for Extreme Rules
MVP & Bobby Lashley defeated Ricochet & Cedric Alexander
Billie Kay defeated Ruby Riott
Champion vs. Champion Match: Asuka defeated Bayley
Overall, a mixed bag of a show this week.
The highlights:
Speaking of a GHOST from @DMcIntyreWWE's past…@HEATHXXII is here on #WWERaw! pic.twitter.com/B5W1DkF7gG
— WWE (@WWE) July 7, 2020
Heath Slater – Talk about delivering the promo of his WWE life! Slater brought the reality to bestie Drew McIntyre before Drew claymored him straight to defeat. Loved the surprise of Slater showing up while in the final days of his no-compete clause of his contract. I just wished they would’ve had Slater beat up Dolph Ziggler to further the storyline. Maybe, like Drew Maverick on NXT, it’s not the last of Heath just yet?
#ChampionvsChampion had EVERYTHING … including a VICTORY for @WWEAsuka! #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/jEW0Vitrts
— WWE (@WWE) July 7, 2020
Asuka vs. Bayley – Two of the best in-ring performers right now, men or women, in the WWE. Nikki Cross showed how unpredictable she is too by showing up behind the plexiglass to help Asuka pull off the win. We are all fans in these weekly battles between Asuka, Bayley and Sasha Banks!
Hello, RKO – Found it funny that Randy Orton is again paired with two third-generation wrestlers in Andrade & Angel Garza. Brings back memories of Curtis Axel, Bo Dallas & Cody Rhodes. I love Orton’s slow build too! So good at the storytelling to the eventual “legend Killing” of Big Show to come.
The lowlights:
No-contest – I see no point in having matches end in no-contests these days. Love that Kairi Sane is back to help Asuka and set up next week’s Tag Team Title Match against Banks & Bayley, but we could’ve at least gotten a finish to the match between Sane & Banks.
Ruby Riott, again – I don’t get feeding Ruby Riott to the IIconics each week without the pay-off of Liv Morgan coming to help her former friend. It just makes too much sense not to do it. Having her lose weekly in mere minutes doesn’t do her any favors.
Enough:
That's a beauty.

MVP – We’ll say it again. The man sure does win alot these days. But, that belt is sweet! So, just how is Apollo Crews out of action again?
Explain please:

Eye for an Eye – Just what is the outcome of the Mysterio vs. Rollins expected to be? Does the winner really get to rip out the loser’s eye? I NEED to know! Clarification please! And yes, I’m sure we will be disappointed.
NXT
RESULTS
Street Fight: Candice LeRae defeated Mia Yim
Bronson Reed defeated Tony Nese
Johnny Gargano defeated Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
Legado del Fantasma defeated Drake Maverick & Breezango
Mercedes Martinez defeated Santana Garrett
Winner Take All Champion vs. Champion Match: Keith Lee defeated Adam Cole to win NXT Championship & North American Championship
Uh-oh.

— WWE NXT (@WWENXT) July 9, 2020
Night 2 of the Great American Bash set a new path for NXT. We get a new champion, one helluva of a Street Fight and a foreboding feud for the future.
The highlights:
July 8, 2020 will forever be known as the day that #WWENXT became N-X-Lee.#NXTGAB @RealKeithLee pic.twitter.com/fDaHpZ712N
— WWE NXT (@WWENXT) July 9, 2020
Bask in his Glory – Give Keith Lee his due. He is now Mr. NXT! He holds all the Gold and can cement his position as to where either the NXT Championship or the North American Championship goes. The loaded main event helped NXT take the total viewership win again against AEW and sets in motion the Lee vs. Karrion Kross feud too, which could be EPIC! Now, what becomes of Adam Cole? Does he move forward to RAW after 403 days atop the Full Sail mast. Either way, he deserves a ton of credit too for elevating the NXT Championship.
LeRAE, YOU SLAY!

@CandiceLeRae puts away @MiaYim in an absolutely BRUTAL #StreetFight on Night 2 of #NXTGAB! #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/NFQOjm2E99
— WWE (@WWE) July 9, 2020
Holy crap! – Candice LeRae’s neckbreaker off the table on the top rope onto a pile of chairs is truly an OMG moment! It made scream out loud HOLY CRAP! Well done ladies!
Welcome back – Mercedes Martinez could be the bad ass Shayna Baszler was in NXT and I could surely see a feud with Rhea Ripley down the road.
Funny as hell:
Nothing to see here, just @ShotziWWE 𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯' care of business. #WWENXT #NXTGAB @RobertStoneWWE pic.twitter.com/8dXobJ5tDI
— WWE NXT (@WWENXT) July 9, 2020
Robert Stone – Keep the comedy coming! Shotzi Blackheart running over Stone with her mini-tank is comedic gold! Another embarrassing moment of reject for the Robert Stone brand.
Solid:
The middle of the show – It wasn’t epic but it was truly very solid and a buidlng moment as we see Bronson Reed continue to gain momentum with a victory. The cruiserweights continue their feud of Legado del Fantasma against the rest of the division.
Gargano vs. Scott – Given a spot on a different night, this one could’ve stolen the show. But after the street fight and Championship vs. Championship match, it takes a back seat. Wouldn’t mind seeing it again though!
SMACKDOWN
RESULTS
Jeff Hardy defeated The Miz
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Non-Title Match: Sasha Banks & Bayley defeated Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross
Lacey Evans vs. Naomi went to a no-contest
SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day vs. Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura went to a no-contest
Wow! This one felt so mailed in it’s not even funny.
Highlights:
.@itsBayleyWWE & @SashaBanksWWE pick up the win on #SmackDown! pic.twitter.com/n7jw4sHA9e
— WWE (@WWE) July 11, 2020
Sasha, Bayley, Alexa and Nikki – Strongest part of the show. Fun tag team that keeps the storyline going with Bayley sneaking the win over Cross. It gives me a reason to care about their upcoming title match.
The lowlights:
The rest of the show! Honestly, from the start of the show with Miz TV (again) setting up Jeff Hardy vs. The Miz with the usual barbs to the end of the show with a tag team title no-contest, there just was not a good vibe to this show.
Don’t get me wrong, Hardy vs. The Miz was serviceable and a nice match between two vets, but nothing spectacular other than to set up what we already knew – a Bar Fight for Hardy vs. Sheamus at Extreme Rules
.@TaminaSnuka, @NaomiWWE, @LaceyEvansWWE & @DanaBrookeWWE face the music in this #SmackDown Karaoke challenge.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pic.twitter.com/MmZXAu3HfB
— WWE (@WWE) July 11, 2020
The Karoake Showdown was a disaster! Having Lacey Evans, Naomi, Dana Brooke and Tamina sink WWE entrance themes is a waste of everyone’s time and if you wanted to sing the “Common Man” theme for Dusty Rhodes, wouldn’t it have been more appropriate at NXT’s Great American Bash? Then, to have a no-contest for Evans and Naomi further wasted our time and was just a time filler.
Do @WWECesaro & @ShinsukeN have your attention now? #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/sfOgxMljQS
— WWE on FOX (@WWEonFOX) July 11, 2020
Finally, don’t get me started with the tag team title match. Why build up a championship match only to see it halted at the first sign of chaos that only seemed to let the World know we have a tables match coming at Extreme Rules. There are 100 different ways to accomplish that goal than to waste a title match on broadcast TV.
And oh yeah, did I mention we got a replay of Money In the Bank’s Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt’s title match? Time filler folks. They could’ve wrapped up that in a 3-minute production piece.
Here’s hoping that next week’s go home show is much better. I’m not holding my breathe. This one was not good people!
Parting shots:
Reigns vs. Lee – Sign me up for one, whenever it’s possible. Roman Reigns tweeted out this week his congratulations to Keith Lee for his NXT Title win and wants a shot down the road. Make this happen WWE! That is, of course, if you ever acknowledge that Reigns is still part of the company still.
Coming up this week:
RAW – Grudge Matches Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens R-Truth vs. Randy Orton (what’s the grudge exactly?) Andrade & Austin Theory vs. The Viking Raiders
NXT NXT Women’s Championship Match: Io Shirai vs. Tegan Nox Damian Priest vs. Cameron Grimes
SMACKDOWN Intercontinental Championship Match: AJ Styles vs. Matt Riddle

FINAL #SurvivorSeries SCORE:#WWERaw: 1️⃣#WWENXT: 4️⃣#SmackDown: 2️⃣#WWENXT has officially TAKEN OVER #SurvivorSeries! pic.twitter.com/xJk259DDS9
— WWE (@WWE) November 25, 2019
After a very successful Survivor Series weekend for NXT, between NXT: WarGames and NXT’s win at SS, it’s time for both RAW and Smackdown to pick up the pieces. And with that, we get some brand new storylines, new faces and some old faces returning. All which should make for an interesting final PPV of the year & decade with TLC coming up in December.
A heel-ish Seth Rollins should be good for business on RAW, especially if he brings the Authors of Pain into his fold to start a new faction. Sheamus returning to Smackdown, along with more of Daniel Bryan vs. The Fiend, is intriguing. Will he partner up again with Cesaro or go it alone? Meanwhile on NXT, Finn Balor seemingly made his choice NOT to follow Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era. What comes next should define the next few months at Full Sail.
N-X-T spells VICTORY.@RheaRipley_WWE @shirai_io & @CandiceLeRae SURVIVE for #TeamNXT! #WeAreNXT #SurvivorSeries pic.twitter.com/QDkUTy98T2
— WWE NXT (@WWENXT) November 25, 2019
Star of the Week – Rhea Ripley
Hands down, she owned the week leading up to Survivor Series and cemented this week’s award by playing the underdog and leading herself and Candice LeRae to a 2 vs. 4 win over Shayna Baszler’s team at WarGames. Then, just for fun, Ripley survived the Survivor Series in an NXT win over RAW and Smackdown in the women’s elimination match, taking out Sasha Banks for the victory. Size, smarts and the “look” will certainly elevate Ripley who looks the part on any stage she’s been put in these days. Well done!
RAW
RESULTS
Lashley defeated Titus O’Neil (DQ when Rusev interferes)
The AOP defeated Ryder & Hawkins
Andrade defeated Akira Tozawa
Buddy Murphy defeated Matt Hardy
United States Title #1 Contender’s Match: Rey Mysterio defeated Ricochet, Randy Orton, & Drew McIntyre
United States Title Match: Rey Mysterio defeated Champion AJ Styles
Asuka defeated Charlotte
Erick Rowan defeated Bartholomew Kickpads
Kevin Owens defeated Seth Rollins (DQ when AOP interferes)
What we loved:
The town hall meeting – What better way to make Seth Rollins the bad guy than to have the entire (well, not the ENTIRE – we’ll get to that below in what we hated), RAW roster walk out on him as he takes them to task for losing Survivor Series. Lest we forget Seth, Keith Lee took you out. Remember what they say about people who throw stones, right Kevin Owens!
Not a word, as it turns out…#StunOwensStun #RAW @FightOwensFight pic.twitter.com/EIZjeZc5gq
— WWE Universe (@WWEUniverse) November 26, 2019
AOP – Closing the show with a cliffhanger as to whether the Authors of Pain will join Seth Rollins was a good choice. The AOP took out Kevin Owens but did nothing to Rollins leaving us to believe there’s a deal there to be made. Yet, will they follow through or be their own men without Seth? Stay tuned!
Asuka vs. Charlotte – Always a classic of top notch, elite athleticism. Plus, how could we NOT love Charlotte getting the green mist? The expression alone is worth the price of admission.
VIVA LA RAZA! An emotional @reymysterio celebrated with his son Dominik after capturing the #USChampionship from @AJStylesOrg on #Raw. pic.twitter.com/gHAMeX2WXU
— WWE (@WWE) November 27, 2019
Viva La Raza – Rey Mysterio Jr. is a WWE Champion again. This time, defeating AJ Styles for the United States Championship. Surprising. Deserved. And who knows, maybe a springboard to the final chapter and bringing son Dominik along into the spotlight after the Brock Lesnar beatdown?
What we hated –
The town hall WITHOUT Becky Lynch – Where was Seth Rollins’ girlfriend to point the finger at? Becky lost too at SS. Shouldn’t she have been there too? She certainly wouldn’t have taken the venom Seth was spewing without interjecting The Man’s point of view, right? Or would she? Maybe she knew what Seth was going to do and wanted no part? I hope there’s a story there with that one. Something to keep your eye on, I think.
Matt Hardy’s return – While we loved seeing Matt Hardy return to Monday Night RAW, there could’ve been more done to further his character. Is another deletion on the horizon? Having him lose to Buddy Murphy is fine, but having him lose with nothing to it makes for a lost opportunity.
NXT
RESULTS
NXT Tag Team Title Match: Champions Undisputed Era defeated Keith Lee & Dominik DIjakovic (Roderick Strong subs in for injured Bobby Fish)
Mansoor defeated Shane Thorne
Candice LeRae defeated Dakota Kai (DQ when Dakota Kai uses knee brace)
NXT Cruiserweight Title Match: Champion Lio Rush defeated Akira Tozawa
Xia Li defeated Vanessa Borne
Finn Balor defeated Tommaso Ciampa
What we loved:
Sit front row. Get your system SHOCKED.@RealKeithLee @AdamColePro #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/qrYKfJLwMl
— WWE (@WWE) November 28, 2019
Holy Keith Lee – Mr. Lee continues to impress week in and week out. And now, talk about your moves to talk about. Lee sent Adam Cole flying right out of Full Sail, into the crowd and Bobby Fish right out of the tag team match with one humungous body block.
Balor vs. Ciampa – I was a little disappointed we got this one so soon without buildup and anticipation, but the match itself delivered. Give these guys a good 30-40 minutes though and they’ll really impress.
The Prince stands alone.@FinnBalor #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/iw291A7bmd
— WWE (@WWE) November 28, 2019
Balor vs. Cole vs. Ciampa – Way to swerve, Bay Bay! Just when Adam Cole thought he was bringing Finn Balor into The Undisputed Era, Balor pele kicked him straight out of the Balor Club. So, now we have Balor vs. Cole vs. Ciampa in so many shapes and forms to come over the next few months. The possibilities are endless with these three!
A live music video, anyone? – The open with a live performance by Josiah Williams, cut to highlights from WarGames and Survivor Series while the whole NXT roster celebrated was well done. Nice reaction from the crowd, who later disappointed, made it special as well. A moment indeed!
What we hated:
Full Sail – I’ve said once and I’ll say it again. NXT has outgrown Full Sail as a week in, week out venue. Sometimes, in such a small venue, the dramatic twists and turns lose some of the crowd appeal. I thought there was a bit of a disappointing reaction, short and sweet and understated, to Balor’s kick to Cole in the main event. If NXT’s going to be the hot brand that is on par with RAW and Smackdown, it has to be put in front or larger crowds on a more regular basis. They deserve as m
SMACKDOWN
RESULTS
Roman Reigns defeated Robert Roode
Mustafa Ali defeated Drew Gulak
Nikki Cross defeated Sonya Deville
Open Challenge: Smackdown Tag Team Champions The New Day defeated Shinsuke Nakamura & Cesaro

WHAT. JUST. HAPPENED?!? #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/fM1NvHCq8F
— WWE on FOX (@WWEonFOX) November 30, 2019
The Fiend vs. Daniel Bryan, part 2? – Multiple Firefly Fun House episodes on one Smackdown is a treat, a Thanksgiving Day after treat. Great stuff, right Huskus! Love the homage to all of Wyatt’s characters. Well done. Let him in Daniel! The YES movement is back and possibly with a new look after The Fiend was left with a handful of hair from Bryan’s own body!
Welcome back Sheamus – I guess The Fiend isn’t the only Smackdown superstar to get the red-light treatment! “Smackdown will be mine” says Sheamus. But who will he go after? Sounds like everyone. Let’s hope he delivers. Sorry Elias, Sheamus was cooler!
Welcome back Alexa – Awesome to see Miss Bliss return to the ring to save her bestie, Nikki Cross against Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose. Here’s hoping Alexa stays healthy for a bit.
What we hated:
"There are some lines you just don't cross when it comes to @WWERomanReigns." – @WWEGraves #SmackDown pic.twitter.com/E1YhhaRG8i
— WWE on FOX (@WWEonFOX) November 30, 2019
Reigns vs. Corbin continues – Not really feeling it. While Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode against Roman Reigns has some fun qualities to it, Baron Corbin’s feud with the Big Dog is lacking a certain something. Maybe some physicality will be added at TLC to light a spark or maybe to end the rivalry once and for all.
Lacey Evans back and forth continues – Heel. Face. Heel. Face. Can the WWE please decide what they want us to do with Lacey Evans. Love her. Hate her. I just don’t get it. Now, after all those failed attempts against Becky Lynch on RAW, Evans somehow now gets a chance at Bayley and the Smackdown Women’s Title. Sure, she got a 10-second chant from the crowd, but they’re fickle.
Always Fun:
The New Day – Whether it be an Open Challenge or just Big E and Kofi Kingston on the mic, they always deliver an entertaining segment or two each week.
Parting Thought:
Stay strong Mauro Ranallo! We hope we see you soon back where you belong, calling NXT!

What a strange week it’s been in the WWE! A trip to Saudi Arabia not only gives us The Fiend as your new Universal Champion, crowned on Halloween no less, but it also sets up an historic Friday Night Smackdown! When I first heard most of the Smackdown talent couldn’t make it to Buffalo for the LIVE show, I cringed at what we’d see. But, for the first time in a while, a show not named NXT delivered the one thing it needs: UNPREDICTABILITY! And we got it in spades!
Brock Lesnar quits Friday Night Smackdown to search for revenge on Rey Mysterio, Jr.on Monday Night RAW.
NXT takes over the night on FOX!
Not only do we get NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler punking out Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley & Sasha Banks, but we get Tomasso Ciampa challenging and beating The Miz! And to boot, NXT Champion Adam Cole cleanly defeats Daniel Bryan, 1-2-3 in the main event!
You heard it here first… @TripleH warns #Raw and #SmackDown because #WWENXT is coming for a BATTLE at #SurvivorSeries. pic.twitter.com/ZXDJNpbqOE
— WWE (@WWE) November 2, 2019
Then, just to put the cherry on top of the Smackdown sundae, Triple H declares this the first blow in the new war. RAW vs. Smackdown vs. NXT – what do you got next RAW & Smackdown? The build to Survivor Series is set. Now, keeping all shows strong over the next three weeks will be interesting. I’m just not sure if I have enough faith in the creative to pull this one off. But, I’m hoping and can’t wait for the next week of WWE programming. And with pro wrestling and/or sports entertainment, that’s all you can ask for.
My biggest question going forward is this: with Triple H being “the authority face” of NXT, who will that person be for RAW and Smackdown? Will it be the executive directors Paul Heyman and Bruce Pritchard or do we get the McMahons vs. Triple H in an all in the family feud? The other question for the night is where was Finn Balor? Wouldn’t this have been the perfect chance to get back at the bigger brands? Or, will he be a hand played later in the build? And just how will War Games play out in all this, especially if NXT is fighting with themselves during Survivor Series weekend’s kick-off show and then back together to fight RAW and Smackdown? Food for thought indeed!
Kudos for stepping out of the box! When challenged, at least for a night, the WWE delivered.
RAW
RESULTS
RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeated Kairi Sane in non-title match
Buddy Murphy defeated R-Truth
Ricochet defeated Drew McIntyre by DQ when Randy Orton interferes with RKO
Non-Title Match: The Viking Raiders defeated The Chicago Cubs
Andrade defeated Sin Cara
Charlotte & Natalya defeated The IIconics (submission)
Falls Count Anywhere Non-Title Match: Champion Seth Rollins defeated Erick Rowan
United States Champion AJ Styles defeated Humberto Carrillo in non-title match (submission)
What we loved:
Holy RKO – You would think one move would get old after nearly two decades, but Randy Orton’s RKO delivers time after time. This time blindsiding Ricochet to give him the DQ win over Drew McIntyre.
Women’s Tag Team – I like the pairing of Charlotte and Natalya and hope they get a nice run together. Maybe a title pairing in future against the Kabuki Warriors would be some nice business! Plus, it’s nice to see The IIconics on TV once again. They’ve been wasted thus far on a tag team title run that went nowhere.
As the Paige Turns – Love the turn on Paige by the Kabuki Warriors! Solidifies them as top heels and gives the opportunity to have Paige seek out a new tag team to bring up to fight against them. Give me more of the green mist!
Becky vs. Kairi – Quality match to start the night off on RAW. The match got better as it went along and builds Kairi Sane as someone as more than just a tag team partner for Asuka.
What we didn’t love:
The vibe of RAW – Monday nights used to be the destination for WWE. The night where “anything” was possible. It seems like the show has turned into jus a run of the mill outing just to fill three hours on the USA Network. For a Falls Count Anywhere match that Vic Joseph kept hyping could go anywhere in St.Louis, the match went to the concession stands and back to the ring. Ho-hum. Plus, we get a King’s (Divorce) Court with Jerry Lawler, Rusev, Lana and Bobby Lashley in the main event. Heading into a PPV, Crown Jewel, it’s not quite what we should get. This is more of mid-night filler than something to pay off the night, especially when they don’t have a huge one-on-one match at the PPV. And now compared with what NXT and Smackdown delivered this week, it clearly comes in as the #3 show of the brand.
Humberto Carrillo gets another title match – I surely get trying to build up the younger, newer talent. But, in losing to both Seth Rollins and AJ Styles, it’s not quite the way to do it. Sure, he gets the rub on in-ring combat, but at the end of the day, all we’ve seen him do on TV so far is lose.
NXT
RESULTS
Io Shirai defeated Candice LeRae
Bronson Reed defeated Shane Thorne
WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Match: Champions Kairi Sane and Asuka defeated Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai
Cameron Grimes defeated Tyler Bate
Non-Title Match: NXT Tag Team Champions Undisputed Era defeated Matt Riddle and Keith Lee
What we loved:
Bronson Reed vs. Shane Thorne – For a match with no hype, this one was a barnburner filled with physicality. Kept me on the edge of my seat! No BS. True NXT type match here.
WAR GAMES x 2 – Not only do we get an historic announcement from NXT GM William Regal that the women will battle it out in War Games for the first time, but we also get Tomasso Ciampa declaring war on the Undisputed Era and putting his quest to get his “Goldie” back, the NXT Championship, on hold. For the women, we’ll get Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley as team captains in what should be an epic throwdown at the War Games Takeover Special Survivor Series Weekend.
The women’s division – When you talk about where the best is, it’s clearly here! From Bazler to Bianca Belair, from Io Shirai to Dakota Kai and from the Four Horsewomen to Candice LeRae, the women of NXT are outshining their counterparts on Wednesday night at AEW, but also outpacing the women of RAW and Smackdown, and that’s saying something! Kudos ladies!
What we didn’t love:
Finn Balor’s promo – While we welcome Balor Club getting the spotlight to try and explain what his latest heel turn is about, we didn’t really get a full explanation as to why Johnny Gargano was the target. Sure, we got a shot at Bray Wyatt being “cool,” but it needed some more depth especially when there are new eyes on NXT since the debut on the USA Network. They don’t know the backstory.
Full Sail University – Sure, NXT Arena is quaint and cozy, but if NXT really wants to take on AEW’s new momentum on Wednesday nights, it has to get out to bigger crowds. The NXT action and storyline progression speaks for itself, but the perception of the crowds in something the mainstream fan will need to see improved. Perception vs. reality folks. Time to check that box off Triple H! And with what we would see later in the week on Friday Night Smackdown, we now know they, as well as the crowds, can handle it.
CROWN JEWEL
RESULTS
Battle Royal For a US Title Shot: Humberto Carrillo
WWE Championship Match: Champion Brock Lesnar defeated Cain Velasquez (submission)
Tag Team Turmoil World Cup Match: Winners: The Good Brothers
Mansoor defeated Cesaro
Tyson Fury defeated Braun Strowman by countout
WWE United States Championship Match: Champion AJ Styles defeated Humberto Carrillo
Natalya defeated Lacey Evans (submission)
Team Hogan defeated Team Flair
WWE Universal Championship Falls Count Anywhere Match: The Fiend defeated Champion Seth Rollins
There's no stopping @WWERollins and #TheFiend @WWEBrayWyatt. Literally, though. Absolute carnage raged through #WWECrownJewel tonight! #FallsCountAnywhere pic.twitter.com/o43HHqGUIW
— WWE (@WWE) October 31, 2019
What we loved:
The Fiend winning the Title on Halloween – What better way to put The Fiend over then on Halloween! It’s something people can remember easily even if they didn’t watch it LIVE.
Uncertainty – With The Fiend winning the Universal Title, RAW doesn’t have a major championship at the top of its show and I, for one, is happy to see where this one goes. I’m hoping they let it linger for more than a few minutes and have some fun with it.
The INCREDIBLE story of the WWE's Women's Evolution continues as @NatbyNature and @LaceyEvansWWE competed in the FIRST-EVER Women's Match in Saudi Arabia at #WWECrownJewel. The #QueenofHarts got the win over the #SassySouthernBelle with the Sharpshooter. https://t.co/snXKQ5cbil pic.twitter.com/MpcG4atCo6
— WWE (@WWE) November 1, 2019
The women debut – History in the making as Lacey Evans and Natalya hold the first women’s match ever in Saudi Arabia! The pure emotion of the match takes precedence over anything else. Great to see and well done.
Mansoor – A solid match that gives the hometown pop with some raw emotion. Perfect pairing with Cesaro who absolutely made the kid look good.
What we didn’t love:
Only two minutes for Lesnar vs. Velasquez – OK, we get it was going to be short with Velasquez’ knee injury that he could reportedly have surgery on, but I don’t think it helped anyone out other than to say that Lesnar gets the win and now an eventual third bout between the two is coming.
Fury vs. Strowman – Count me as one who wasn’t a big fan of this pairing. It’s a no-win situation as neither side was going to get a clear victory and that’s exactly what we got. A countout by Fury and a slam by Strowman that gives each man with what they walked into the match with, nothing more, nothing less. It gave the WWE some mainstream media and that’s what they wanted.
The red lighting for The Fiend – I get what the intent is with trying to make The Fiend’s matches look different, but let’s be honest, it’s just tough to see through the red tinge in the lighting. Drop it already. It doesn’t work.
MEH – Team Hogan beats Team Flair. Solid effort with Roman Reigns pinning Randy Orton, but no real payoff with the two biggest stars, Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
RESULTS
Smackdown Women’s Title Match: Champion Bayley defeated Nikki Cross
Tommaso Ciampa defeated The Miz
Rhea Ripley & Tegan Nox defeated Fire & Desire (Sonya Daville & Mandy Rose)
NXT Title Match: Champion Adam Cole defeated Daniel Bryan
THE #WWENXT WOMEN'S CHAMPION @QoSBaszler IS HERE AND SHE IS TAKING EVERYBODY OUT!!!!#SmackDown pic.twitter.com/IsISDyZHdT
— WWE (@WWE) November 2, 2019
What we loved:
NXT! NXT! NXT! – No brainer here! The WWE takes a negative in the travel delay from Saudi Arabia that left all of the Smackdown superstars minus Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar left overseas and turns it into a HUGE positive! With Survivor Series coming up with RAW vs. Smackdown vs. NXT, the men and women of Wednesday night take the spotlight starting with Women’s Champ Shayna Baszler taking out Smackdown Champ Bayley & Sasha Banks to NXT Champion Adam Cole BAY BAY getting a clean 1-2-3 over Daniel Bryan in the main event! Unpredictable, smart and most important for us the fans – FUN and ENTERTAINING!
.@HeymanHustle just announced that @BrockLesnar is QUITTING Friday Night #SmackDown and going to #RAW… Watch out, @reymysterio. #BrockLesnar is coming for you. pic.twitter.com/QNRVRa0lSx
— WWE (@WWE) November 2, 2019
Brock Lesnar quits Smackdown – Sure, I would’ve loved to see how RAW would figure out its next champion with The Fiend defeating Universal Champ Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel, but Brock quitting Friday nights to find Rey Mysterio, JR. settles that. The WWE Title is coming home to Monday nights and that’s a good thing for business.
Pat McAfee – On-point, effective and put his stamp on this historic night! He was Paul Heyman-esque on the mic getting the brand and the talent over. Plus, he got in his plugs in too for people to know to watch on Wednesday nights. Brilliantly done!
What we didn’t love:
The downside to a beatdown – Yes, NXT looks awesome, but in the same show, you’re making Smackdown look a little weak. The building them back up will be in the pudding as we ramp up towards Survivor Series. I’m sure Roman Reigns, The Fiend and crew will have an answer.
