Hopefully SM Entertainment are aware of the potential popularity of Riize in Europe. Especially with their last eat comeback Impossible.

I do not go to the disco and I have no Intent of ever entering one. But I know somewhat the kind of music they play in there. In my country (Italy), usually Spanish and Latin American pop songs like Maluma etc, Italian summer songs, 2000s-2010s American pop summer hits like Rihanna, Albanian and Rumenian songs as well and of course the couple of songs that simply vibe, not necessarily from these places! And many French hits as well.

Riize would be massively popular not just for their music in the disco but they have the potential to be sensational also because of their performance and dance.

I think that if they aren’t already doing that, SM should focus on growing their popularity in Spain, France and maybe even here in Italy.

Also if they become sensational in France, they might indirectly also be known in West Africa, it’s not exactly our personal style of dancing or even music, but people do enjoy different foreign styles form time to time. They have this Parisian and West African gaze in their dance and choreography and I know that all the YouTube and TikTok hip hop dance channels will be covering their songs.

Kpop idols nowadays are extraordinary performers on stage, especially males. They have an amazing consistency in keeping their own bars high.

If the estimated revenue is enough, they should invest in that instead of USA. Because I KNOW the revenue would be much higher if they “risk”.

It would also be a great chance to be known and attract potential future employees or artistic business partners. Such as choreographers, producers, artistic directors etc.

For them to actually bloom in Europe/west Africa. They first must actually perform on television as well as some events there. Like how kpop idols do all the time in USA. Unfortunately we do not often have mini stages in TV programs for that but some(few) do! 2 appearances with both Siren and Impossible will make their popularity skyrocket.

Hear me out : Rihanna and Future’s “Loveeeeeee Song” as an anachronistic critique of the governmental bailout of “too-big-to-fail” corporations and corporate personhood.

It was a fleeting idea. But I imagined some tug-of-war between the extant capitalist infrastructure and an expanding state body resulting in the carrying through one of the more drastic fiduciary duties of a free government when it comes to intervening in a laissez-faire market, said government being a corporation itself, and said duty being bailouts.

Rather than an appeal to consumers, the singers’ lyrica embody corporations’ market appeal, this time pandering (rather seductively) to the government to subsidize their losses.

Both the government and the corporations were faced with a question that placed them at the center: How do we save a market when we’re the ones it depends on, saddled as we be with debt national and international alike?

That marked a change or maturation to a subsequent stage of capitalism in America, a quiet renewed fusion of interests intended to seal the fissures that formed, to fill in the places where the companies’ lifeblood hemorrhaged like a Victorian hemophiliac.

Marxist sentiments within a capitalist system would be the equivalent of a Freudian death wish or a red scare. But ideally only rears its head as a fleeting but purportedly fatal-to-capitalism-and-freedom solution as one lays out paths toward a return to solvency with minimal disenfranchisement.

Rihanna and Future’s tune was released in 2012. Four years after the TARP bailout that included Chrysler motors. Not as timely a response if we’re limited to our own borders.

But Spain endured a similar economic hardship in 2012. This all being spun from straw here, there’s still room for artistic commiseration with a neighbor across the pond. And in some fateful wyrding way that may have been wrapped up in the liminality of the song.

Some of these musical artists are impressively innovative and inspiringly aware.

Maybe “Loveeeeeee Song” was a way of processing the shock to our exceptional exceptionalism. Some of us will need bailouts in life. Some of us won’t. I know I’ve been the one in need more than a few times in my life.

Anyways, we can learn to understand ourselves through others. Enduring similar situations bridges convivial realms that seem inaccessible by mundane standards yet grant us access when filtered through different media such as art and music.

I have to laugh because seeing these pictures that Rihanna has sent me from the Fenty Skin shoot is just different, I didn’t ever think I would be modelling or promoting skin care like that, I mean my skin looks very good, but it look ok and I trust her but it’s weird to see. Earlier today, I saw some people on this hellsite clutching their pearls about Rihanna performing while pregnant at the Super Bowl (when really, if she's doing it of her own volition, it's not really comparable to a pregnant worker being forced to work ridiculous hours or lift heavy objects or otherwise face termination). A while after that, I saw some people whining about menstrual leave being legalized in Spain. Granted, I don't struggle much with periods, but some people DO get debilitating periods due to conditions like endometriosis or experience heightened dysphoria then, so it's disheartening to see people react like that.
