Hc that when Ikuya and Asahi aren’t fighting Kisumi is teasing the heck out of Haru about Makoto at lunch, once he would tease him about Makoto’s new glasses (he forget to take it off since it was the first time he had them) after he quickly say hi to them before eat with his friends from his class. And Kisumi just had to make comment like: « Geez Makoto sure is handsome with those glasses ne, Haru? » which Haru agrees with a lovestruck look before deny it in a tsund fashion lol. All of that while Asahi film all of it bc he just got his first phone and wanted to use the function and Ikuya be like: « 👀 what’s was that Haru, geez you can’t tell an completely honest answer huh 🙄 » also since then Asahi try to discreetly take photo or video of Kisumi teasing Haru and making him jealous and sometime Ikuya does too (he had to clean Natsuya room every month like that he can borrow his phone for the day which might or might not worth it depend) after they all got separated way Asahi store them on the cloud, while Nat lost them (Ikuya was maaad when he learn it, but actually Nao had the funniest ones since Natsuya show it to him and then he asked to have them for his embarrassing files of everyone bc he def own one) then they forget about them until they got reunite and at some point just remember of their existent, Ikuya asked Asahi if he still had those to show it to the group chat, which he was happy to oblige lol

this is such a mood like i really love haru but his arc finished in season one and they have GOT to pass the damn torch for the sake of him, the other characters who never ever get development over his endlessly repeating narrative, and the story. it’s stale. season 2 was already stale for focusing on haru and now it’s just gotten crusty and started molding

HONESTLY like for fuck’s sake it’d be one thing if they could actually come up with some new Material but Haru and Makoto have been repeating the exact same storylines since high speed Season 1 wrapped up Haru’s storyline with Rin pretty well and then in season 2 when they SHOULD’VE focused on Rei and Nagisa they kept Haru front and center and now they’re introducing a LOT of new characters but they still don’t have anything going on because dive to the future is basically just Ikuya acting as a stand in for season 1 Rin and Hiyori acting as a stand in for Sousuke in season 2 and it’s like??? Oh Boy!!! Haru is upset because someone he doesn’t know told him to eat shit AGAIN! Alert the presses!!!

SOUMAKO WAR BUDDY BROTP HEADCANONS (P2) | (P1)+ possible spoilers for Eyes Wide Open All the Time.

Sousuke lowkey getting into Makoto’s soap operas. He just so happens to be sitting in the living room while Makoto and his mom are enraptured with the show, and Sousuke insists that he only watches it with them because nothing else is on TV. Two weeks later, Makoto is in the living room watching his soaps and Sousuke is in the kitchen. With the biggest shit-eating grin, Mako calls, “Sousuke, Lena and Dom just broke up on the show.” There’s a crash from the kitchen, like someone drops the silverware tray, and Sousuke shouts, “THE FUCK? Who’d she get with?” / “Security guard’s evil twin.” / “That’s HORSE SHIT, Dom gave up everything for that little -”

Gun range bets. Vehement ones. Ones that get way out of hand. Haru and Rin are watching it go down, Haru pinching the bridge of his nose in exasperation and Rin leaning forward to watch with the hungriest excitement. Makoto can hit a target from a mile away, but Sousuke can work pure magic with his desert eagle and shoots his closer mark in rapid fire succession, so there’s no clear winner, therefore, wrestling for the winner ensues. Haru heaves the longest sigh and grumbles about going to the vending machine while Rin waves him away and shoots the scene on Facebook Live. The screen floods with WOW faces and hearts from Nagisa and Kisumi.

Eating MRE’s in the field. Makoto takes a slow chew of his and his face drains green with a vague look of nausea. He asks Sousuke, “What’s yours taste like?” / “Dirt.” / “Mine tastes like mud. But maybe with like, tiny flowers in it. A hint of flavor.” / “Wanna trade?” / “God, please.”

They go on a mission where they have to wear those camouflage suits to blend in with landscape with twigs and branches glued on. Sousuke is trying to focus on finding coordinates and he’s on pins and needles when Makoto comes up next to him and accidentally scares the life out of him. His scream echoes through the mountains. Echo howls along so he won’t feel lonely. 

 When their at home on leave, Ran is constantly sneaking up on Sousuke with a cute snapchat filter at the ready and steals a pic of Sousuke with cat ears, dog ears, the whole shebang. Makoto always smiles for the pictures. Ran makes a collage of the pics and keeps it as her phone wallpaper when they’ve gone back to war. 

Sousuke and Makoto having bro time in Iwatobi and talking about their significant others. Sousuke asks, “What’s the craziest thing Haru’s tried to buy with the military discount?” / “That’s easy, a lion fish.” / “…” / “Has Rin tried to use yours before?” / “Yeah, just last week at a sex shop. It didn’t take.” / “Well, damn.”

On their second tour, they decide to surprise Makoto’s mom about getting early leave, so they don’t tell her their coming home. They surprise her at work and she’s a vet so like, they’re waiting in the room and she has no idea why all of her coworkers are staring at her with these excited smiles and their phones discreetly pointed at her. She’s had a really overwhelming day and she’s just tired and her chest aches because she misses her boys so much so she goes in with her head down at her clipboard, greeting whoever in that monotone everyone uses to just get through the last hour of work, and when there’s just this grinning silence she looks up. Stares for five complete seconds. Then her clipboard goes falling and she nearly flies apart with joy, screaming with it, collapsing on the floor because her body cannot physically contain it. They both wrap her up in the fiercest hug and she just can’t stop crying and literally the entire vet’s office is in tears and it’s probably something like this, literally one of the happiest days of everyone’s life.

Nagisa Hazuki. Hmmmm. Weirdly enough probably It’s Tricky by Run D.M.C. bc I saw a Nagisa vine once with that song. But seriously, I’m not quite sure. It would have to be something fun and uplifting though. I’ve been thinking about it while writing the rest, and the only song I can even think of is Planetary Go by My Chemical Romance. It’s a party jam. Nagisa is a party.

Strange™ uhh. These would be two COMPLETELY different dynamics. I feel like Makoto/Nitori would be just because of their personalities. They’re both so sweet and caring, I feel like they would both unintentionally being doing the best to one up each other with cute boyfriend things.

Sousuke/Kisumi would probably still be chill tho. Sousuke would probably be very protective of Kisumi and it would probably cause problems. In the form of Makoto.

 Any favorite fic moments for Four?

Nagisa. Hmmmmmmmmm. I haven’t read any fics with him as the central story line, but he’s usually always in the fics, which always gives him a lot of good one liners and stuff. The two moments that are coming to mind right now are coming from one of my FAVORITE fics ever and a fic that’s a wip that I’m reading rn. The first one: Makoto, Nagisa, and Kisumi work together at an elementary school, and Makoto is new and Nagisa is his friend, so Makoto just met Kisumi. Kisumi is obviously tryna get Makoto. So Nagisa gets Makoto to go to an event but he needs a shirt and Kisumi offers to lend Makoto one. So they go to his office and Makoto tells Kisumi he needs a large and Kisumi is all “dang I only have a medium” and gives the shirt to Makoto, who is awkwardly waiting for Kisumi to leave so that he can change. And kisumi the little shit just standing there smirking, and enter Nagisa, the angel, is like “OH Kisumi it smells really good in here. Like pine trees. There’s a lot of pining.” And its shooting Kisumi daggers. Kisumi has the good sense to leave. It goes over Makotos head.

I swear its funnier in the actual fic.

Other moment omg. Rin and Sousuke are in a band together and Nagisa is their manager. Rin and Sousuke are backstage after the show in a hallway and they start getting nasty and fucking Rin omg calls sousuke daddy and suddenly Nagisa “ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS” NAGISA WAS STANDING THERE FOR LIKE HALF THE CONVERSATION I WAS SOBBING fuck but nagisa was like get the fuck outta here this is why we give you separate changing rooms and called them out on their daddy kink I was crying I was aughing so hard lmao.
