I was devastated yesterday when I found out. I went back to tumblr after a few days break and was so excited to see her new posts, maybe she got to write some meta, she always did. She inspired me to write a fic too, it's in the works. I'll also dedicate it to her, maybe she will see the good outweighs the bad in the fandom. Not all of the above mentioned accounts are Haladriel or they are multiships. I move through a lot of fandoms and even though I have a main ship or 2 per fandom I am completely obsessed with, I enjoy other ships too or I am simply curious about them no matter how far from my main ship they might be. The above accounts left me with the same impression of open-mindedness, multiple povs which really i thought was the bare minimum for tumblr, like the entry-level pass to such a complex and full of diversity platform. I mean that's the whole point of tumblr: it's not twitter, people don't get into pointless "wars" online. We're all just here to have a good time, debate and raise some awareness.

I am so surprised at how blessed i am at every post I see, how alive and creative the fandom is. It's true I am not as active as Apolo and others are so I am not (yet) a target of hate. I guess it's how the world works, unfortunately. As soon as you get enough recognition the haters start to creep in.

I’m new to Tumblr but I’ve been a lurker for a while, and @apoloadonisandnarcissus metas have always been my faves and inspired me to write some of my stories. Her dedication to put together such extensive and thoughtful posts was amazing. She gave so much to the Saurondriel fandom. I’m gutted to see her go.

I reached out to Apolo days ago because I want to write a fanfic about tentgate theory Sauron POV (I have two WIP so it hasn’t happened yet, but it will), She explained the theory to me, and how it could work. She was very nice and helpful. We both joined the fandom after s2, but I went straight to ao3 to write about my new OTP and interacted there, and only browsed the fandom on social media to shamelessly self-promote my fanfics lol

From our chat I got the idea Apolo might delete sooner or later, I didn’t think it would be this soon. She told me she often thought about leaving the fandom for good, she didn’t want to be a part of it anymore, and there was no joy in it. It sucks. She wished me good luck.

I don’t know if she’ll read this, but Apolo: I’ll write that fanfic, and I’ll dedicate it to you and your contributions to the Saurondriel fandom!

they reminded him so much of their mother, it pained daemon to look at them on the bad days, but they were just as HEADSTRONG as their mother, and neither would give up on their father. daemon was secretly thankful for it, it made it difficult for him to brush them to the side whilst he worked on his next hairbrained scheme. daemon is an extremely talented warrior, the wielder of DARK SISTER and a dragonrider... he will use his daughter, his family in schemes if needed, do whatever he sees fit; but they are his daughters and they have his heart. daemon would kill anyone for even looking at them wrong if it suited him, for uttering words behind the family’s back. “people say that you and your sister are tragic, sweet child, but there is something MAGIC about you and your sister. the blood that runs through your veins has the magic of old valyria. nobody can ever take that away from you. do NOT let them.” it was rare, for him to be so open with his daughters but it was needed now. they needed to know how important they were, and how nobody (aside from himself) could speak about them as though they have little importance.
