My homeland is drowning

On June 6th r*ssian army blew up Kakhovska HPP in Ukraine after it being mined by them since autumn. It’s not only another russia’s terroristic crime against humanity - it’s a global catastrophe, one of the biggest ecological and humanitarian disasters in the east of Europe. The consequences can be compared with the explosion of the nuclear bomb. It’s still hard to believe that my people have to go through of this, civilians specifically on the east have been bombed, occupied, stolen from, had to spent months without electricity and now a flood made them lose their homes. This is so damn unfair and my heart hurts for them every day, these people have been through too much pain and evil already. My relatives house was also flooded, just month since russia killed their daughter on Easter. And not only people suffer, a lot of animals and pets died because of the flood, a lot of cultural heritage - destroyed. And that’s only the beginning of the problem. The consequences to ecology are huge and horrifying, some of them we don’t even acknowledge yet.

It honestly drives me crazy to see people who actually easy swallow russian propaganda and think Ukraine did it with its own citizens, while Ukrainian officials literally YELLED that russians mined Kakhovska HPP since freaking november. While russians keep ignoring the danger telling that everything is okay but meanwhile shelling people who try to evacuate. While the whole zoo of 300 animals was flooded, caused terrible death to all of them, but russian media just said that “there was no zoo in Nova Kakhovka”. This is beyond evil and I have no idea how there’re people who still didn’t understand it. Their military came to our land destroying everything, killing people and animals without a thought, they blew up the dam because they were afraid Ukrainian army will kick them out, without caring about civilians or ecology. Well, why should they care, they can’t even care about their own people, their nature. Freaking monsters.

I beg you please share the info about what happened, tell the world that russia did it, this is the only way to justice, they have to pay for all the pain of Ukrainian people. Currently russian propaganda works fast and tries to hide the facts, but the dam was under russian occupation since last year, and mined by them for more than half of the year. The world has to see who did all of this and make them to pay.

Сіль із кров’ю

У червні 1941 року в соляні шахти на Добромильському сільзаводі було вкинуто тіла закатованих в’язнів. Приблизно 3 500 жертв комуністичного режиму. Серед них були діти з Перемишльського притулку, жінки з немовлятами, старші люди. Слабших просто вкидали живими, інших добивали дерев’яними молотами, якими подрібнювали сіль. Крик стояв такий, що люди чули його за зачиненими вікнами. Їм заборонили виходити. А потім через два дні почули страшний сморід. Директором сільзаводу був такий собі Прокоп’єв, офіцер НКВД, який начебто після війни став директором Долинського хлібзаводу. Це він віддав наказ робітникам прийти отримувати зарплату напередодні екзекуції. Ті, хто прийшов, уже не повернулись назад. Більшість тіл так і лежить у шахті глибиною 100 м. Вона була наповнена доверху. Одна й друга. Коли прийшли німці, то відкрили шахти. На самому верху лежало тіло молодої жінки, яка навіть мертвою не випустила з рук немовля. Частину тіл поховали поруч у спільній могилі, а решта залишилась в шахті навічно.

Ніхто вже не скуштує добромильської солі. І не варто. Але ось цитата з офіційного сайту міста Добромиля: «Санітарно-оздоровчий комплекс в урочищі Саліна, де 160 років тому були відкриті соляні копальні, а на їхній базі був створений санаторій на 365 ліжок та оздоровчі заклади для лікування туберкульозу, пневмонії та бронхіальної астми, у 1986 році з невідомих причин був закритий Львівським облздороввідділом. На даний час санаторну землю викупила київська організація, у віданні якої знаходиться 12,7 га землі та 4,5 тис. кв.м приміщень. Вартість усього господарства Саліна становить 1 млн. доларів США». Уявіть собі санаторну зону на місці Освєнціма чи Биківні, чи в Бабиному яру. Бізнес важливіший чи не так? Чийсь персональн��й добробут на кістках. З одного боку влада править молебні в останню неділю червня, будує меморіали і виголошує патріотичні промови, а з іншого…Чи послали б ви свою дитину лікуватись в таке місце?

Усе минає на цьому світі. І слава, й неслава. Так уже склалося, що моральні втрати завжди болючіші ніж матеріальні. Галицька сіль, розчинена у воді – це кров нашої землі. Без неї ми захиріємо і вимремо чи станемо вигнанцями, як той король Лір, покараний за те, що віддав перевагу брехні над щирістю. Взято з zaxid.net

life feels like an illusion now. escapism. a movie prop. because today i play the favorite videogame, drink tea from an advent set, visit my parents and hug my pet. but tomorrow i might not wake up. or i might find my city in rubble. or lose a friend or my family. or may need to get evacuated again. and then this feeble, weak veil of illusion will be swept away, maybe forever. there is no life, there is only war.

sometimes it feels like life is an illusion. a charade. like we are all already dead, but pretending to be alive.

Judging by everything, only swans and ducks survived in the zoo. Other animals died. And a large number of Red Book plants and animals died/will die, not to mention people.

Meanwhile, while "green" organizations are taking money from the Kremlin, UN is celebrating the day of the Orc language, and rockets have been flying at me and everyone around for a year and a half.

In Nova Kakhovka, the amusement park «Kazkova Dibrova» where the zoo is located was flooded

Local media write that the fate of animals and birds is still unknown.
