Kanata thinks the holiday is useless and a hassle, since you should be showing your love for your partner daily, but he goes based off your opinion. If you asked him to be your valentine he would wince, knowing he had just been thinking about what a stupid concept it was before you had approached him. His face makes you backpedal and then he has to reach out, asking you to be his valentine, which left you wondering if you had just accidentally stepped on his toes by asking first and that was why he made the face he did.

Nayuta Yatonokami:

Nayuta thinks it’s just like any other day but he does like the excuse to get out of the house or take part in discounts that occur around this time. He would very casually ask if you wanted to be his valentine, grinning when you accept like he knew you would. It’s a great excuse to wear a semi-matching outfit (he wasn’t into full-on matching, but having a coinciding color scheme or a bright accessory that connected you was fine) while going out together, pulling you out shopping with him so you could pick something you both liked.

Kenta Mikoshiba:

Kenta almost said ‘no’ out of reflex but there’s a tiny part of his brain letting out a shrill scream, like a warning that this is an important choice and to consider the choice carefully. Luckily, it wasn’t done in person so it gave him the chance to think, staring at your message for what felt like hours before his fingers would finally move. It’s a simple ‘sure’ but it meant the world to you since it wasn’t followed by an insult, texting back multiple times in a row to let him know you’d be dropping by for a visit as soon as you could.

Ryoga Tosa:

Ryoga is sweating it out, as if he was the one who had asked the question. He wasn’t always aware of holidays like this but when he did realize, his thoughts had immediately went to you. He had considered trying to write out what he wanted to say just so he wouldn’t screw it up, but his hand writing was hard to decipher and left him throwing paper at the wall in irritation as it was yet another thing he couldn’t get right. He can’t help but hug you after you ask, still tongue-tied but hoping you understood just how much you meant to him (and how much he appreciated that you gave him chance after chance to prove himself to you).

Shion Kaida:

Shion has never been asked that, at least, not in the way that you had. Valentine’s Day was a good day to sneak out, find some lonely singles, and enjoy multiple ‘dates’ in a night depending on how thirsty he was feeling. But you had asked with a sweet sincerity, averting your eyes when he looked at you a little too long. He had mostly been trying to see if you were messing with him but it was becoming clear you had meant it, and while he wasn’t quite good at the actual dating part of relationships, he looked forward to having a real valentine.

Yuto Inukai:

Yuto’s absolutely stunned. He was used to sweet old ladies he helped pinching at his cheeks and asking when he’d finally find himself a spouse, but this jumpstarted his heart in an entirely different way. He’s a sputtering mess, saying he was probably working, taking that back because he wouldn’t have to work all day or night, and then fumbling somewhere in between while leaving your question unanswered. When you asked again you took a step closer, taking hold of Yuto’s hand to get him to focus on you; the move is smooth and surprisingly works, with Yuto meeting your gaze and nodding that he’d be happy to be your valentine.

Honestly, you couldn't blame Ryoga for not initiating too much affection with you. After all, he was inexperienced in almost every way, so you never really got angry with him. As endearing as it could be, though, it could also be irritating. It was especially so when you were so lonely and touch-starved while he was away; was it wrong to want a kiss every now and then? You didn't think so.

Which is precisely why you had pounced on Ryoga as soon as he got home that day, placing yourself right on his lap the moment he sat down on the couch. You couldn't help but chuckle as you could see the shock on his face- wide eyes, flushed cheeks, and parted lips. He looked cute like this, but that wasn't your main concern right now.

"Ryoga," you started, hands perched on his shoulders. "Why are you so nervous about touching me?" You got straight to the point in hopes that you could get an honest answer from him.

For a few moments, he was silent, his brows furrowing in slight confusion as he processed your question. Of course, he knew the answer already- he was scared of hurting you. Ryoga knew his own strength well, and even though he was positive you could hold your own, he was also positive that any wrong move on his part would put you through a world of pain. He was always so delicate and gentle with you, even if it was unusual for him to do so. The last thing he ever wanted to do was hurt you, so could you blame him?

Now, though…

He thought about it some more before answering, a brief exhale leaving his lips. "…What if I hurt you?"

It was your turn to furrow your brows now, your smile turning to a frown. "Hurt me?" You repeated, to which he nodded his head slowly. Another laugh left your lips, and he looked confused again and slightly offended. "Sorry, sorry, it's just… that's all? Come on, you don't have to be scared of that! Here, look…"

You picked up his large hands, which were resting awkwardly at his side, and put them on your hips. You felt him jolt a bit, practically radiating the heat from his flushed face. Upon seeing you smile at him, he squeezes your hips slightly. Not a huge move, but a good one nonetheless.

"There, that's not so bad, is it?" You shot him a grin, to which he nodded once more. "And... if you're so nervous about initiating something yourself, then I can always start it. Think you can keep up with me?"

You saw something flash in his eyes at being challenged, and you felt the grip he had on your hips tighten. One of those hands raised to your head, tangling itself in your hair to pull you a little closer. Surprised at the sudden boost of confidence, you blinked owlishly, especially as he muttered in your ear, "you have no idea."

While his younger self may have protested, it may surprise some to see Ryoga quietly comply with your request to paint his nails 

He treasures you greatly, after all; having a daily reminder of you helps him get through the day

But his easy assent to your request doesn’t make him any less fidgety

Which makes it difficult to cleanly paint his nails, but he tries his best to stay still!

He’s shocked that pushing back his cuticles doesn’t hurt or damage the nail 

Super patient- He’ll let you spend as long as you want to paint designs on his nails, too (just please don’t make them too cute– he’ll never hear the end of it from Kenta or Shion) 

Ryoga’s quiet during the process; you glance up from time to time to check his reaction, but all you see is a look of concentration— almost a level of reverence — on his face

Unfortunately, that look is quickly traded away for one of hot embarrassment as soon as his eyes make contact with yours

The scent of the lotion you massage into his hands locks into his olfactory memory after you paint his nails a few times, and he relaxes whenever he catches whiffs of the familiar fragrance from then on.

-He is very indifferent about pda. Ryoga doesn't mind it all the much so if you enjoy it, he'll comply. If you're shy and you don't prefer a lot of pda then he won't force it. Physical touch isn't his love language but he really does enjoy being able to touch you.

Gentle (how gentle are they with you?)

-As much as his size is intimidating to many, he's actually pretty gentle with you. There's still a roughness to his actions but you can tell that he puts care into every action that involves you.

Open (how open are they with you?)

-Ryoga is a very 'actions over words' type of guy so he isn't open per se. It's hard for him to form the words he wants to and he ends up getting frustrated with words essentially... He's okay with telling you things but he just struggles to find the words for it.

Romance (are they romantic?)

-Not really. There's not much romance coming from him in general. Even out of prison, he's still not very romantic. He does try his best to make things special like your birthday or anniversary but that all depends on what sort of situation he's in at the moment.

Yearn (how easily do they miss their partner?)

-I don't think Ryoga is the type of person to excessively miss you, especially because he can rarely even see you while in jail. As long as he knows you're coming back, that's enough for him. He knows he'll be able to see you again even if he doesn't exactly know when.

~ kanata is known to be harsh, rude, and unpleasant to be around. he also struggles to display affection and his emotions, leading to him expressing overprotective behavior. kanata often won't let you go outside when it’s dark unless he’s with you and constantly asks where you are. he cares for you too much and believes that his behavior is virtuous protection of you from danger. he tries too hard to protect you without consulting you first which causes trouble along the way; but kanata will always love you and is simply unsure of how to handle his feelings.

~ shogo understands that his role as an idol interferes with his relationship with you; however he always makes an effort to help and protect you when you need him. sometimes, he does go a bit overboard. shogo is away most of the day, considering his busy schedule, so when he is around he always walks you home, has an arm around you, and constantly worries about your well-being. he has an elevated sensitivity to your distress and will continue to keep you from harm or discomfort.

"Nayuta~" you call from above. He was laying on the rooftop with his arms behind his head and his eyes closed.

Nayuta smiles and carefully opens his eyes at you. 

"How was your performance?" 

Nayuta grinned, "It was great, as always."

You giggle, your smile acting as your agreement of his words. 

You sigh, "I wish I could watch you guys live." 

Nayuta's smile fell slightly. He sat up, digging his phone out. "For now, do you want to see a recording?" 

You float down, landing on the ground and kneeling beside him. "Yes!" 

Nayuta played the video and turned it toward you to watch. You watched it with fervor. 

"Kanata sent me a sample of the next song, too." 

"Oh! I wanna hear that!" 

Nayuta nodded, "Yeah." 

You listened to his music happily, eyeing him on the stage from the video and looking at him muttering lyrics along with the recording. You smile, "Rapping really makes you happy, doesn't it?" 

Nayuta glanced up at you. "Yeah… and… you make me so happy." 

Your eyes widen at his words. "Oh… Nayuta!" You leaned forward and wrap your arms around him. 

"H-Hey!" He cries but receives your hug. 

You giggle. "You make me happy too!" 

Ryoga Tosa

"Someone's busy working," you say, eyeing the tall young man. 

"Shuddap," he muttered, shoveling dirt silently. 

"Hmm," you hummed, "I guess Mr. Sunshine doesn't want the gift I got him, then." 

Ryoga paused his work, then continued. He mumbled something under his breath. 

"What was that?" You ask, knowing it was a string of curses. 

"Nothin'," he spit out. "Why are you… here?" 

You pressed your fingers together, hovering over him. "I, I know you're busy working but I wanted to see you…" 

You didn't notice his face turn a darker red. 

"What's with that," he muttered. He swatted his hand at you. "Go away." 

Your face fell slightly, "Alright…" You hesitantly started flying higher to leave. 

"W-Wait," Ryoga stopped you. 

"Yes?" You stopped. 

"I… I'm not, I'm just mad right now… it's not that you, I don't want you to see me like… this. You make me so happy, so I don’t, you shouldn't see me like this." 

You blinked at him. You covered your face, to hide a small smile. "Okay," you said. You zoom forward and press a kiss to his cheek. 

Ryoga almost jumps, startled. "Wha- What was that?!" 

You giggle, "Your present!" 

He took a step back, "What if someone sees?" 

You shook your head, your hair bobbing at the movement. "They can't see me right now." You pat his head. "Have a good day! I'll see you later, okay?"

Ryoga waved his hand at you. "Alright alright," he said. 

You flew away and he carefully watched you as you went. Needless to say you took up his thoughts for the rest of the day.

A promise is something Ryoga wants to keep, but struggles to do so. His inability on speaking or words just made it even worse. All he can do in responding someone is a physical violence.

Ryoga didn't want to be like this anymore. He didn't want to remember his past life as a part of Yakuza gang, being reminded of that time he betrayed his close friend, and jailed for a crime.

But now, he's finally able to free from prison, started to have a relationship with you. You loved him because despite his scary, violent look, but deep down, he has a soft, pure heart.

Despite your relationship with Ryoga come as wholesome and healthy, however, he is still struggling when it comes to confession. Due his weakness to words, he's unable to confess his feelings.

All he can do is just give you a big hug, kiss your forehead and cheeks, and stroking your head during a sleep. He used physical affection as an alternative way to show how much he loves you.

You were confused why he doesn't talk much. Anytime you ask him why, he's just silent and tell you that he is completely fine. You assume that he is just didn't want to have a time to talk and you respect his boundaries for that.

One day, you found a letter on your desk and there's Ryoga's name on it. You were curious and opened the letter, wondering what it says.

The letter mostly contains his inner feelings about how much he loves you, but unable to say due his inability. As you keep reading his letter, you had butterflies in your stomach, while blushing in red in embarrassment.

Ryoga wakes up from his sleep and suddenly finds out that you have read his letter. You went surprised and quickly hide your letter behind your back. With nervous, you want him to talk about the letter.

"Did you... writing this...?" You asked in a stutter.

Ryoga nodded, "Yes, I wrote all of that because... I unable to confess how much I love you, but my inability to speech prevents me to do that, therefore, I have to wrote a letter for you, so, you can understand my feelings......"

After he said that, you quickly hug him and smiled at his face.

"I love you too, I now understand why you didn't talk much. I thought you didn't want to talk with me, that's why I'm so confused..." You said.

Ryoga hugs and stroke your back softly. Later, he kisses your forehead and gave you a soft smile on his face to you. Then, he leaves a small laugh, which made you giggle a little bit.

After that, he gives you a pinky promise to be a good boyfriend for you, hopefully he could keep his relationship with you without anything prevents him and have a healthy, good life. Deep down in his heart, his inner voice speaks.

"I don't want to betray you like I used to. I promise that I would keep my relationship with you in the future, living our life happily ever after until the end comes to us..."

Now this was an interesting situation. When he sidled up next to you at the bar he expected you to greet him with enthusiasm, but instead he received a side eye like he hadn’t showered in a week. When you purposely get up and put a seat between you, it takes all his self-control to not burst out laughing, hiding his smile behind his hand as he knew you’d find him even shadier if you saw his reaction. He tried to play it cool, calling out your name and reveling in the shocked look on your face; you actually looked like you might call the cops on him, head whipping around to see if there was any security nearby. He popped up a family picture on his phone, zooming in on your happy faces squished together due to everyone trying to cram into the picture. You took a moment, looking between the picture and him a comical amount of time before accepting that you knew this man for sure. There’s a thought chipping away at the back of his mind, the one that reminded him how lucky he was to have you and that this could’ve been his reality (with him just a stranger to you) if he hadn’t reached back out to you after the death of the Suiseki Clan. You seemed to trust him enough to walk you back to your home (which he subsequently had a key for, leading to more panic before the kids stepped in to back Iori up).

Naoakira Saimon:

Saimon is admittedly amused by the situation, hands sliding into his pockets as you clarify that you’re happily taken. You rambled a bit about the situation, hitting a sore point as you talked about how you weren’t sure if he saw you or his late wife when you were together, but you quickly apologized to the stranger as your sad thoughts weren’t meant to slip out like that. Saimon offered to hear you out, having a glass of water delivered directly to you as you both sat back down at the bar. He listened to woes that you could never be direct with, thoughts that scared you because you never knew the answer to them; he feels guilty that you felt like this, having to hold himself back from physically comforting you like he wanted to. He thanked you for putting your trust in him with your words, promising that he would see you home safely so that you have the chance to tell your boyfriend exactly how you feel.

Ryoga Tosa:

Ryoga let out a huff, not knowing if you were just messing with him in your drunken stupor or not. But he knew how you were normally, and the way you pulled yourself away with a fierce glare at a man who towered over you, biceps the size of your head, made him realize just how deep your loyalty ran. He couldn’t admit that it was making him feel some type of way due to the situation at hand, which was convincing you his intent was pure and he was simply trying to see you home safely. He considered just tossing you over his shoulder and running, but he wasn’t looking to add more years onto his sentence should someone call the cops on him. He has a very non-threatening Yuto escort you home safely, not happy he had to ask for help but your safety took priority over his pride.

Kenta yelled at you, stating that he’s not a dog who needed to be pet. He gets annoyed every time you move your hand, almost seeming ready to bite if your hand moves anywhere close to your head. If you’re insistent on doing it as a sign of affection, he tells you to ask him for permission first, refusing to look you in the eyes whenever you offered him affectionate head pats. He did make it known he wasn’t a kid either, so don’t think he’ll let you do that forever.

Ryoga Tosa:

Ryoga made a noise of confusion, so you can’t tell if he’s having a good or bad reaction to the head pat. You wait patiently to see if he’ll complain or share his thoughts but he continued on like nothing had happened at all, not unless you bring it up. When you ask if you can do it again he gives you a wary look but nodded, leaning down so you could touch the fluffy top of his head. Seeing you so happy meant he didn’t really mind and would acquiesce to the head pat request when you made it, but he didn’t feel either way about being pet.

Shion Kaida:

Shion acted like it was something you did all the time, leaning into your touch and asking if you’d keep patting his head. He always managed to turn the tables on you when you least expected it but you didn’t mind giving Shion affection, especially when he reacted so positively to it. The head pat wasn’t his favorite type of physical affection but anything you wanted to give him filled him with joy (and left him feeling greedy for more).

Yuto Inukai:

Yuto looked surprised at first, clearly startled by you suddenly touching him but he didn’t seem to mind at all. He laughed nervously the more he thought about it, his cheeks warming up until they glowed a healthy pink. He seemed embarrassed when you asked again but agreed that he wouldn’t mind, though he did have to wonder what he did to deserve such affection.

Kenta is like a small dog who gets so excited it bites, nipping at you when he doesn’t mean to just because he doesn’t know what to do with the odd amount of energy coursing through his veins when you’re around. He’s nothing if not painfully honest in regards to the things he dislikes, but when it comes to discerning his true emotions, you think the like and hate line have a very hastily drawn border. He has some contempt for the way you make him feel, and the fact he has a hard time trusting in others, but there’s the giddy side of him that genuinely enjoyed your company and looked forward to talking to you every day.

Not much changed when Kenta was actually your boyfriend. He didn’t like to flex the title unless unnecessary because it was embarrassing to admit he liked someone enough to actually want to be their boyfriend, but you didn’t take it offensively. Seeing the way he dunked on people online who told him to touch grass by mentioning he had a significant other, and that was more than said other person would ever experience, made you giggle. He has a lot of growing to do but you hoped to do it together, knowing that his heart (and his trust) were much more fragile than he might admit.

Ryoga Tosa:

Ryoga is very awkward around you when he has a crush. His stutter gets worse, and he seemed even quieter than usual; the serious look on his face always left you wondering if you rubbed him the wrong way, which directly opposed how he actually felt. He knew being honest was the best idea, but he didn’t exactly see himself as a viable partner, not knowing what he could even offer you in a relationship. He’s content being friendly, but he feels his anger building at the concept of you being with another person romantically.

Ryoga is a protective boyfriend. He doesn’t want you to suffer for his sins, nor does he want you to get a poor reputation because of him, so anyone who has anything nasty to say about you would have to get through him first. He almost doesn’t tell you when insults fly or when he gets into arguments because he doesn’t want you to worry about them or he thinks he should just handle it himself, but you are the person who gets to see the gentler side of this mad dog.

Shion Kaida:

Shion is a smooth operator, flirting with you like it was his second-nature (because it was). He’d become almost too charming for his own good, especially when he saw interest reflected in your eyes; he couldn’t help but launch an attack, wanting to wrap you around his pretty little finger just for all the fun you might bring to his life. Having genuine feelings beyond his normal lust and desire for fulfillment causes him to put a temporary pause on flirting, almost treating you like any other person on the street that he wasn’t attracted to or attempting to sleep with. It’s a defense mechanism more than anything, but he needed time to mull over the feelings in his head and see how you reacted to him pulling back so drastically before he attempted to pursue you seriously.

Shion is a loyal boyfriend. While he remained a little flirty out of habit, he didn’t have eyes for anyone but you. The only person who could satisfy him was you, which was a big responsibility in your eyes but Shion thought you had him handled just fine. He might crave your attention, or demand it depending on his mood, but he returned the affection tenfold. He’d never leave you with a doubt in your mind that he’d love you for an eternity, though he would have to tease you if you were to get jealous of his surface-level interactions with others.

Yuto Inukai:

Yuto considered it a very strong admiration for who you were as a person. He couldn’t help the electricity that shot through him when he saw you, the excitement clear on his face as he tried to think of any excuse he could to talk to you. He felt more at ease talking to you than anyone, trying to ignore the worry that he complained too much and you might think he was a person who only knew how to complain. The romantic feelings aren’t quite obvious until Kenta started dramatically gagging at your interactions, cursing and ordering the two of you to get a room (even though you were simply having a conversation).  

Yuto is a boyfriend who always tried his best. He’s late to dates, he can look a mess when he does show up, but finding that work/life balance is difficult for him. But you’ll have him one hundred percent, even when he’s exhausted to the point of fighting his eyelids despite the sun being high in the sky. He appreciated that you were patient with him, trying to navigate the new relationship by spending as much of his free time with you as possible. He doesn’t expect you to put up with him forever but he hoped to grow into the man you deserved, with a better grasp on his chaotic life.

He’d pick big spoon if he had to. He’s not a huge fan of cuddling overall, but he doesn’t mind skin-to-skin touch. He’s the type who takes time to get used to (romantic) physical affection, so cuddling might be a slow-moving thing in your relationship. Once he’s comfortable with you then it’s no question that he’s big spoon and that he WILL be holding you at night, it’s just something you have to be patient with.

Big spoon. He really does always feel like he’s being protected, and it frustrated him if you were the one who wanted to hold him. He could hold you too! It’s cute how insistent he is about being big spoon, the pout on his face showing he meant business; you hadn’t really intended to argue with him to begin with, but seeing how passionate he was about being the one to hold you…you’d be lying if you said it didn’t make you happy.

Both. Depended on his mood, or who was in control at first. You rarely wake up to Hancho but if he’s the one who took control in bed the night before, you’re normally wrapped up in his arms and wake up to a sleepy Yuto asking what happened. Yuto preferred having his head rest on your chest, face fond as he listened to the beat of your heart and said it made the perfect lullaby even on his most stressful day.

Ryoga Tosa

Big Spoon. It just feels natural he’d be big spoon, and unless you’re much larger than him, he thinks it’s uncomfortable to be the little spoon. He doesn’t really care if you hold him for a few moments but he gets restless easy, quickly flipping the script and reminding you of just how strong he is when he moved you into a better position with ease. His spooning tends to happen without him noticing, mostly when he’s asleep beside you and feels like you’re too far, his mind subconsciously telling him to fix that situation. 

Shion Kaida

Both, but likes being held a little more with someone he really loves. It’s easy to tease when he’s got you wrapped up in his arms, nipping at your ear and asking if you’d be more comfortable with a lack of clothing. But he does like when you take the initiative, never one to complain if you pulled him into your arms and kept him wrapped up, warm. He can’t guarantee he’ll behave himself whenever you’re that close but he does bask in the moment of being loved without expectation. 

Kenta Mikoshiba

Big spoon, if he has to make a choice. He doesn’t need to be held and you should count yourself lucky he’s holding you! In the end, it turns into more of a mutual hold situation as he wants you to be facing him, just so he can ‘see if you’re plotting something’. You think it’s cute that he gets nervous over simple things, wondering if you could slip him a few otome games to play to up his charisma stat.

Tender kisses are certainly his favorite way to be woken up, if he had to pick from all the different ways his slumber was interrupted. It’s like a gentle reminder that you’re there right beside him, ready to offer this comfort at moments notice, and he admittedly enjoyed it more than he could voice. He almost felt like he should be embarrassed but the genuine care and kindness you displayed to him, even when he was hardly conscious, was a positive reflection of your character.  

Rokuta:

It made Rokuta purr like a cat, his eyes glued shut as the kisses only further lull him to sleep. He thought it was his favorite way to be tucked in before, but your kisses were hypnotizing, so waking him up that way didn’t always go in your favor. He couldn’t help but sit up and look at you with a pout if you stopped before he’d fallen back asleep, asking where you went and implying he wasn’t done receiving your love yet.

Ryoga Tosa:

Ryoga is used to rude awakenings and not getting to sleep in at all, so as long as you’re not waking him too early with your kisses he’s fine with it. He still finds it odd that anyone wants to treat him with such loving behavior but he tried not to look a gift horse in the mouth, preferring this to shouting in his ear or the irritating sound of a blunt weapon clinking against bars. Sometimes the warmth that comes with you snuggled up close, pressing kisses all over his face, can make him sleepier so your plan to wake him up may backfire.

Yohei Kanbayashi:

Yohei slept like a rock so your gentle kisses don’t tend to wake him up, requiring a little more shaking his shoulder if you really need him to get up. He considered it one of the pleasant things about being in a relationship, knowing no one else got that special wake-up treatment from you, and it leaves him feeling content on ‘mornings’ where Yohei is a little more attached at the hip with you than he normally is.

Reaction to S/O saying they love them for the first time with Hajun, Anne, Yuto, and Ryoga

Anne Faulkner:

It's really all that Anne had ever wanted. They wanted to be loved by someone who knew them, and while they did feel that love from Allen and occasionally Hajun, they knew that it was a little different about finding someone who you were romantically interested in. The dating scene had always been something Anne approached with hopeful optimism, knowing there were others in the same situation as them, but there was a wariness they had to have when dealing with new people. They only presented themselves as they were but they did want their lover to know them and all that they had gone through to become their best self; they wanted to be known, seen, understood. And getting to hear that you loved them, that you could say so in front of the others without a hint of shame or fear or any other negative emotion on your face, it truly overwhelmed them with emotion as they returned that love with a passionate kiss that left their roommates awkwardly looking away.

Hajun Yeon:

The first thing Hajun thinks is that you’re lying to him. It’s a very sudden thought, the trust you had built with him had been well-earned and you had never betrayed it so it was an incredibly unfair thought to have yet he still did. How many people used love as a tactic of manipulation? Faking the sentiment to get what they wanted, letting the love run dry when the resources had done the same. He doesn’t say it back immediately, flashing a fake smile you immediately see through but you don’t push the case with him. You had made your feelings known while also knowing the constant struggle Hajun had with vulnerability, the chance that he didn’t respond in the moment high but you had done it anyway. Things are a little awkward between you, almost like you were some fan who had confessed to him and now just stalked him through his daily life rather than being his lover who had lived with him for quite some time. It might take him a week, or maybe even a month, before he can talk to you about it but he does offer his response, those three little words like music to your ears.

Ryoga Tosa:

Ryoga doesn’t think he’s unlovable, or maybe he is with all the shit he put you through, but there’s something about hearing you say that you love him that makes him want to repent. He wanted to apologize sincerely for the frustration he put you through, for how much he tested your patience all these years after pushing you away until he realized it was inevitable that you’d be pulled back together. He loved you too of course, he always had even when he was at his most difficult, but words had never come to him easily. Saying those three words was simple enough but they held a much deeper meaning behind them, and just saying them without truly putting his heart behind them would be a pathetic display on his part. But he doesn’t have that same paranoia any longer, having come to understand that exact definition of love, and delivering it back at you tenfold, perhaps a little louder than he intended (thankfully, you’re not startled by this at all).

Yuto Inukai:

Yuto is completely and utterly stunned into silence. The fact he got a first date at all was a shocker for him, he wasn’t the type of person who really attracted romantic attention, but to hear that he had endeared himself to you so much that you could say you loved him with complete honesty? He’s stuttering as he tried to respond, trying to get the hamster in his brain back onto the wheel so he could formulate a thought. You can tell he’s a little shaky as you reached out to take his hand, patting his cheek lovingly as you had him take a seat to proves your words without the threat of him collapsing to the ground. You can see from the way his eyes soften and the way he reached out to grab your hand that he was cooling down, eyes closing (as he didn’t think he could look at you or else he’d become a stuttering mess again) as he responded to your feelings with enthusiasm.
