Kept thinking about that first post I did and wanted to draw a scene like this. Idk I thought it'd be neat :)

Yusuke would appear around Ryoshima Coast where he would quickly start gaining a reputation as a mysterious thief, stealing from the Aristocratic Quarter of Sei’an City in an attempt to help the starving and dying people in the Commoner's Quarter. With demons running amok and their curses causing the land to wither, he would do his best to try to investigate and keep civilian casualties to a minimum. Patrolling the city at night to kill any wandering demons and aid those in need, he would quickly gain many supporters who consider him a hero while others consider him a criminal or even a demon himself.

Before this, he would be responsible for stealing the Fox Rods from Ninetails in order to stop his attack on the Dragon Palace. This means the Water Dragon debacle wouldn't happen in this course of events, and King Wada would live. This earned Yusuke a massive target on his back, as Ninetails will do all he can to get those back, even going so far as to try to pit Amaterasu against him.

I imagine Yusuke and Amaterasu would meet while Yusuke was in his civilian attire, but after learning that she is a Goddess, would probably want to test her. Hence the scene above. After all, all the Gods he's met so far haven't been the most... Benevolent. Getting snapped out of existence when you're only 16 tends to be traumatic! Who knew! :Y And that's only covering Yaldabaoth!

But yeah these are just some of the fun ideas I had for this crossover idea. Hope you guys like it :>

Waka swearing or shit talking in French(or English in the Japanese version)

A follow up to Eneko posting yesterday, here's the Okami AU concepts I scribbled when talking about this with @feliciadraws! And that I really need to color but shhhh

In this setting, Eneko would be an actual kitsune and in direct service to Inari. He normally dwells in a little hokora shrine on Ryoshima coast, but began appearing in Sei-an city shortly after Ninetails killed Himiko, sent by Inari to investigate the dip in prayers being directed his way. Turns out Sei-An isn't exactly big on foxes right now, and given that Inari's favored servants are kitsune, it's causing a bit of an issue...

Among mortals, Eneko uses a human illusion to appear as a farmer coming to market, but anyone with a strong enough faith in the gods would see his true form. Rule of thumb is that if you can see Amaterasu's markings and weapon, you'll see through Eneko's glamour too. He's just a minor kami, cut him some slack.

uhh hmm.

well okami is my all time favorite the art & the music & the message/story are all just incredible theres not a single time ive finished it i havent cried. i absolutely adore ryoshima coast ive spent so many hours just running around there to listen to music. which fun fact for u i only know about this game bc in about 6th grade i picked up okamiden bc i thought the little doggy was cute & was like fine i'll play as this boy if i get a cool dog and u cannot imagine how excited i was to find out u DID play as the little dog. i was SOOOOO obsessed literally my exact thoughts were 'if issun is ammy's celestial envoy then i am going to be chibis' i have a metric fuck ton of fan art i did at the time bc i thought it was quote "the epic-est game for ds ever" also cried every time i finished it. i was 13 so i didnt know what "being down bad" was but do know i was as obsessed with kurow as i was with d-ne later and now tenshi not a single irl friend was unaware i was in love with him. also fun fact for u bc at the same time i was also getting super into vocaloid i was so convinced my vocap name would end up as chibiP to the point i named myself that in pkmn x chibiP after chibiterasu of course. please enjoy my banger old art which is not even a fraction of my output

yume nikki is my next favorite game specifically the og that changed my brain chemistry as a kid. i adore that game so much its hard to put it into words. its just so unlike anything else. there is absolutely nothing in the game that can directly harm u theres no real health meter theres no way to die during the main play the absolute worst that will ever happen is u get stuck or woken up. in a horror game. which is already just amazing. and the whole horror aspect just plays on something i dont think is often done as well in many other things. ur alone. u wander and wander thru worlds that loop and connect and seemingly have nothing to do with each other. theres no dialogue; talking to npcs just gets u a noise or animation at best. ur entirely alone with just urself. its all dreams so u know everything is of madotsuki's own creation, another layer to the all u have is urself feeling. the art is just unusual i cant even say any of it on its own is in anyway scary. the whole thing shouldnt be scary and yet every time i start wandering in a world i cant help but feel unease. amazing 10/10 no other game will ever have what this gave me.

everyone knows i play pkmn the best is still pmd sky that also rewired my brain i still cant play it without crying.

its been a long time since i was really just playing it as the chapters released & got translated but 1bitheart is so so so important to me too. i dont kin for multiple reasons but if i did nanashi would be my first choice. like- without saying that to her i got my one irl friend to play once & when she saw how nanashi was she turned to me and went "this is just you" hes very important to me even now. absolutely loved the whole friendship sim & the story & its twists & the endings & their implications left me in shambles at 1 am on a school night. my fave charas are nanashi enri & saaya btw. i should replay this.

i also love the etrian odyssey series i love the character portraits (esp with the more recent games' color customization) i LOVE the dungeon art & i think all the monster designs are so cool. adore the whole make ur own map aspect keeps me so entertained to take a step & look around & chart all the walls & path ways. unfortunately i fucking suck at every single one i am not very good at strategy games so i end up stuck at or before the 3rd stratum. but thats okay its still fun to me.

the other one i'll talk about at length is spirit of the north another game i loved the art of. u play as a fox & get a partner spirit fox & i just love it SOOOO much. its also a game with 0 dialogue but theres A Lot going on it if u care to follow along & explore & dig into details & the game play is also pretty fun to me. this is the one game i started learning the speedrun btw thats also a very fun way to play it but ABSOLUTELY play it as intended first it has so much to offer

"Hmmm..." Ninetails slyly mused as she looked upon Waka's face, her blackened, claw-like fingernail softly tracing his jaw, eyes narrowed, sharp teeth showing in a flirtatious smirk. She had cornered the prophet at long last, hoping to execute the next stage in her plan to usurp sovereignty of Ryoshima Coast and eliminate Queen Himiko, "Lord Yami was right...you really are that handsome..."

Waka was indeed a man of many qualities, among them being his undeniably beautiful face, and was in turn a man of many things, but if there was one thing he was not, it was a fool.

He had already foreseen what Ninetails would do, how she would work her way into the inner sanctum of Himiko's palace, how she would infiltrate her council and in the end bring about the Queen of Sei-an City's demise, and he knew fully well of her demonic nature; even now, as the maleficent vixen stood before him, clothed in her human form, a shape most men would consider beautiful, but Waka knew better, he knew better than to fall victim to the demon's darkly seductive charms.

"You don't think I know what you are? You take me for a fool, madameoiselle...but you of all people should know how outward impressions can deceive..." Waka retorted, a wry smirk forming on his lips as he combated Ninetails's own seduction with a pseudo-flirtatious play of his own, almost as if to mock her. "And you are certainly as quick-witted as they say, Waka...would it be enough to save you, or Himiko..."

Himiko...the mention of her name struck a dagger to the depths of Waka's heart in that moment, an achingly bitter reminder of his prophecy of the demise of the queen who he had come to know as a close confidant, having not just served the Yamatai clan for two centuries but had watched the queen grow from a small child and had grown to be a close friend of hers...Waka's heart ached as it skipped a beat, and yet as he faced the demon he had foreseen to be Himiko's murderer, he had to swallow his pain, push it down so as to not allow the tumultuous storm that bellowed within him to cloud his thoughts in this moment.

Swallowing down whatever feeling had been upstirred by Ninetails' attempts to get under his skin, toy with his mind, he retrieved his flute from his sleeve, and readied Pillowtalk’s blade for combat.

“But…is your own wit as quick as my blade…demon?”

TWO FOR ONE ART AND WRITING SPECIAL! I’ve been meaning to draw human!Ninetails attempting(and failing) to seduce Waka for a while, and I had a sudden burst of inspiration again because my human Ninetails has all of a sudden become a bit popular, and I’ve been on a bit of a writing kick so there! Also no I do NOT ship this, not in the least hahaha, I just had this image in my head of human!Ninetails putting the moves on Waka because let’s face it, everyone wants him, me included🥵😂, although Mei is and always will be his Girl ❤️❤️🌸✨

So I absolutely see it's attack as a way to further its power ofc but also make Yami see how good it is

Perhaps Ryoshima Coast isn’t the best place for a big, red crocodile.

Or, perhaps, because Dragon is literally in the name of the darn place, it’s the perfect one for a big, red crocodile. Regardless of the locals’ feelings on him being here, he lays out on the sandbar while the tide is low, sunning his wings, and idly picking around in the warm-silver grains for any more seafood. The beach is a wonderful place to be, not least because the ground just has food in it.

But, his lazy pawing with his big, sickled claws proves fruitless, and he yawns, eyes pricking with tears, and stretching like a dog, before he splays back out, his scutes splayed against the wet sand as he sploots across it, looking for all the world like a big, vermilion pelt rug.

And he falls right back asleep, the lazy bum.

I just played Okami so it is very fresh in my mind but Ryoshima Coast. It’s just so big and pretty and the music swells and it’s the point where you realize there’s so more more of the game left and also it’s where you meet the whale
