BDSP & DxP progress

I picked up my canon save in BDSP again - I put it down for until we catch up in the comic, but heck. I’m trying to get some inspo (I’m sad to say neither of us really connected with the Sinnoh region at least in BDSP, but did it for the plot).

Canalave City is a very important location for a number of reasons. Just at a glance, it’s the home of the Canalave Library, the Move Deleter, & the port to Iron Island where we meet Riley & find the Iron Plate. Oh, & I guess beat up Team Galactic lol

It’s also where Byron, the Steel Gym Leader & Roark’s dad, is. I liked how his Gym is kind of a more vertical version of Clay’s BW1 Gym. ⚙️

I forgot he was a Sandstorm user - just turned on the rain & took care of most of it with River (Gastrodon). 🌧️

Even if it was just maybe an hour of play, it did bring me back to the region, so that was helpful. Got me thinking about what it was about Sinnoh that I did like, too. ^_^

For DxP, my struggle right now is mostly just wanting to get to the part I want to draw, & really not wanting to do the part I should draw before that (I think it really is better this way, to set the scene). I’m sure it’s a common thing among comic artists.

I’m not sure how to make it over that hill. I shortened it what I originally planned from 3-4 comics to 2-3. I also went ahead, drawing a little bit of the part I want to get to. It was like picking up BDSP again - I hoped if I just started drawing, I’d make me want to draw the important part I don’t really want to.

(LOL messy sketches be messy XD Also, blacked out the more spoilery dialogue to keep things a surprise >u<)

I know some of you are comic artists yourselves, & would love to hear what you do in moments like this. ;u;

Poor Ragatha had to deal with centipede fear too in the new episode in addition to the whole Jax/Pomni ordeal. :( (I wouldn't be surprised if Jax messed with Ragatha's suggestion or if Caine glitched out as to why there's a giant centipede in the stands :/)
