Not surprised since this is the site that only talks about racism and thinks it’s a big deal when they see it demonstrated in the cartoons and comics they like *coughs* dungeonmeshi *coughs* (for example at least. I haven’t seen THIS many white ppl talk as in depth about racism on here as much as these fandom nerds, man. I stg. Like “Ohhhh, so you all DO acknowledge that racism is real? Just not in real life even if you could feel it slapping you in the face at high speed. Gotcha.” It’s crazy.

Tumblr is like, 90% white and is extremely centered around them. That’s why you barely see stuff that’s important to black and brown people ever trending here or being talked about. It has to be something incredibly huge to the point where even white people can’t ignore it like they usually do, to talk about it here.

They only talked about George Floyd here because the topic of his death became world news. Even people in other countries were talking about it. Before him, it was probably Ferguson and Trayvon Martin… most of them are still trying their best to ignore the genocides because it’s a “touchy subject.” What do you expect from white people who live in their own bubbles of comfort and refuse to pop it with a needle??? They find comfort in their privilege and faux ignorance (they love playing stupid to avoid conversations about important things outside of fandoms like, are these mfs born with half a brain dedicated to fandom or what.) That’s literally all these mfs make a big deal out of, especially on this annoying ass platform. The ao3 mfs will go to war for the site that allows racist ff and cp like it’s no big deal. I wonder how many people here even donated to the site while actively scrolling past dono posts from folks who really do need help. They act like they’re doing a civil service by defending this site that makes over the amount of it’s intended dono goal in minutes.

Then you already know as soon as you even bring up racism in the stuff they like, they start ganging up and harassing black bloggers especially, calling them TERFs and the whole nine. Anything to make that person look bad for being concerned about the racism that they have such an intense aversion to. God, it’s absolutely exhausting knowing that these people would have no problem choosing a cartoon character over your entire existence if they COULD. Isn’t that fucking sad, man?

So, Thalia clearly wanted to talk to Jason alone in tlh and is kind of disgruntled Jason asked Leo to stay. But Jason is afraid and it’s all too much and he can’t do this alone. Leo was ready to go and give them privacy, but when Jason asks him to stay, Leo agrees immediately. Leo‘s a joking dumbass throughout most of that conversation, but he’s there for Jason. He tries to be supportive. Afterwards, when Jason’s clearly struggling, Leo makes an effort to walk next to him and try to make him feel better.

Leo also taps out ‘Love you’ in Morse code onto his knee when Thalia talks about Beryl. I now raise the following concept to you: Annabeth knows Morse code. Potentially, this means Thalia also knows Morse code. Thalia does not have context for this message being about Leo’s mom.

I’m currently highly entertained by the thought that she just fully assumed they were either dating or getting there. This doesn’t come up until they’re having a conversation ages later and Thalia casually asks how his boyfriend is doing and Jason just smiles and goes “Leo’s great :D” before pausing in confusion because they just got together and he did not tell her they were dating yet.

Thalia proceeds to give Jason shit about the fact that she figured out him and Leo were into each other months before either of them realized it forever.

Chapter 25 is one of my favorite for many reasons but Akane not being scared of touching Hanako to make him look at him in the eyes to be faced of what he is vs Him putting his gloves back right away not to make a handshake with hands which were used to kill someone is really important to me

can i just say. and this is probably a niche hill to die on. that i am so gobsmacked every time someone vaguely hints at the idea that jotaro doesn't care meaningfully for the other crusaders, usually particularly kakyoin and joseph, when those two actually tend to be the ones he reacts to being hurt the hardest

like he cares for his loved ones!!!! that literally plays into his character motives in every single part he shows up in!!! stop lying to me!!!!!!!

I do have to reiterate that I think that season 3 needs Louis in the room with Lestat and Daniel for like a large majority of the season. I’m somewhat skeptical that the teaser’s format is going to be the actual format of the season in part because Daniel isn’t even physically visible and I don’t think they’re going to do that long term- especially with the intensely dark content of TVL. I think it probably represents Lestat’s initial interview attempt(s) by Daniel but it will eventually move into something more conversational as Lestat travels around touring and warms up to Daniel (I do expect they will actually like each other). And anyway TVL has almost no Louis and I don’t buy them doing that after two solid Louis centric seasons either despite some people’s fears that they will. Also having Louis react only after the whole season/story of TVL doesn’t seem likely to me. I am willing to bet something will happen to bring them together but I think it will be earlier than it would in the book. And there’s a lot that Louis needs to hear first hand, a LOT. But obviously they aren’t going to let us have that info yet but I’d be very surprised if it doesn’t go that way
