Day 4 of October pregnancy and infant loss awareness month! Did you know that even if you use preventative measures, sometimes it’s just a misfire in the brain. That’s what sucks about this. It wouldn’t of mattered who was home. It wouldn’t of mattered at all. The end result would have still been the same. Because of that Justin and I have to miss out on so much with him. We don’t get to celebrate Halloween and dress up with him. We don’t get to be with him on thanksgiving and feel so blessed that he’s here. We don’t get to go Christmas shopping and put him in the cutest Christmas outfits. We don’t even get to plan his very first birthday. The holidays are rough for the moms and dads out there who never got to do these things, or have but no longer get to. Be there for them throughout the holidays. This is the time of year to be thankful, and sure we have a lot to be thankful for. We still have other family members. We have jobs, our health. But do you think we feel like being thankful? No. We lost the light of our lives. So there’s not much we feel like being thankful for. Abel Charles mclean was the smallest but smartest babies I've ever fallen in love with he wrapped me around his little finger from the moment he was born.. in that moment I knew when I looked into his eyes that he had me so wrapped around his little finger and he knew it too.. sadly he passed away due too SIDS 2 weeks after I gave birth to him and the day I lost him was the day I died... giving life to such an amazing little boy and then having him be taken like that at only just 2 weeks old.. I'm doing this all for him, Abel changed my life and continues to keep changing it. So my please go check it out and help me navigate and distract myself from this pain.. and he would of been 3 months old today and am I allowed to feel guilty that I'm trying to distract myself?
