AND LIKE THAT, I HAVE ALL THE MAIN HERO TEAMS REDESIGN or at least on the right direction.

The Cherished are the rival hero team to the Beloveds, led by Delight (an ex member of the Beloveds). There is high tension anytime they are on the same scene as the Beloveds and the press and fans eat up every juicy bit of drama.

It's heavily debated which team is the better one, though it's easy to say Cherished are a lot more clean about their jobs.

Cherished are kinda like the popular girls in high school but instead of a school, it's a city while the Beloveds are the lowkey the weird kids.

(I'm a bit late to the party but just in case)

i think what makes me sob about The English is that at its core it's a story about the mother of a child of rape, but she never blamed him or rejected him for what his father did. Instead she loved him and accepted him. With all of her being. She fought for him.

She cherished him.

Her whole life's focus for fourteen years became about keeping him alive, and when he died, it immediately changed to seeking justice for her son's death.

Not even justice for herself. Even if she has to face her rapist to do it, the man who took her whole life from her. She did it for her son.

He is never named. Maybe he didn't have one.

When she says "I cherished him", it may as well be his name in the Pawnee style of naming. His true name.

"I Cherished Him" is who he is.

Not how he was conceived.

So much of this story is about people's true nature & getting back who you really are after terrible experiences. Your true name.

Eli saw her love for her son & by the end understood exactly who she was & he loved her for that. Eli's true nature is a protector who loved his family & fought for them too.

He is the Wounded Wolf, his pack dead and gone. Through her he remembered who he is after probably years & years of being completely shut down & not wanting to love anyone.

If grief is love with nowhere to go, Eli found a place to put his love again.

Cherished is literally right there

The Gamers and Beloveds are besties. They're actually big fans and supporters of Sweetheart when she was soloing.

There's no Girls vs Boys here so sorry to disappoint to those lookin' forward to it.

In canon though, they are def painted to be rivals because of course the press and media need drama to sell. Both teams try to dispel the lies and rumors and shoot down "BELOVEDS VERSUS GAMERS" stuff but it keeps happening and they just deal with it.
