Limited Run will have more details to share about its version soon, and Pix'n Love has already teased its release (which comes in three variants: standard, collector's, and deluxe) with pre-orders opening tomorrow on 25th July 2024: It has a reversible cover, too.

Full Arcade ladder Longplay, playthrough, walkthrough, guide and gameplay as one of the hidden final bosses Red Arremer. Full one credit run with no rounds lossed, which with Red Arremer is pretty easy as he is a demon of a character, who can pin opponent down due to all his projectile attacks and his dive attacks are also unblockable. Meaning he can trash enemies in seconds and they can do little to unlock him. This video was captured on the recent PlayStation 4 version, which is the original AES version with the debug cheat activated to play as all the bosses and a few extra hacks added to the game along with an art gallery and online support.

Beggars Can't Be Losers
Now that I’ve got a total of 15 PC port wishlists under my belt, I can’t help feeling wistful about this tradition’s humble beginnings. Of course, if I had nothing to show for it, I’d probably feel a lot differently about that milestone. But as it stands, a lot of my requests have come true in one way or another. Whether or not these lists had anything to do with that remains to be seen… but I’d…

『SNK vs. Capcom∶ SVC Chaos』 Revised Rivals
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
SVC Chaos is interesting because some of the character sprites (Choi, Iori, Kim, etc.), are simply ripped from old King of Fighters games, with no apparent alterations. Genjuro and Earthquake also reuse old sprites (albeit from Samurai Shodown), but they've been heavily altered to match SVC Chaos' style. — SOURCES ↴ SNK vs. Capcom∶ SVC Chaos (NEO GEO) character sprites (Emu Gif Animation)

I always thought this game would be forever lost to time, stuck in the arcades...I'm happy to be proven wrong.
Despite the bad rep this game gets, I absolutely love it.
It's available right now on Steam with rollback netcode. Consoles will arrive on the 22nd.

Capcom shocked the world last month by announcing the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics during a Nintendo Direct (of all places). This compilation of games is set to bring back seven iconic titles from the Versus series, all playable on modern platforms with online play, new training mode features, and more.
Due to massive licensing hurdles, a relationship that was reportedly not the greatest for a while, and several other factors, most fans believed seeing a collection for Marvel vs. Capcom and Versus-series games ever come to fruition would be virtually impossible. Despite this Capcom and Marvel made it happen, and in a new exclusive interview with Dexerto Street Fighter 6 producer Shuhei Matsumoto shed some more light on the whole matter and revealed that Capcom really wants to make new crossover games with both Marvel and SNK.
Since the reveal of the upcoming Marvel vs. Capcom collection, fans have been absolutely clamoring for more details on what all this could mean for the future of the franchise. Similarly, Terry Bogard and Mai Shiranui being announced as DLC guest characters in Street Fighter 6 Season 2 has seemingly opened the door for Capcom vs. SNK 3, but is that something that could realistically happen?
Right out of the gate, Dexerto asked Matsumoto that very question, and the Street Fighter 6 producer obliged.
"The development team at Capcom has big dreams," Matsumoto started. "Maybe there is an opportunity for a new Marvel vs Capcom game. Maybe there is an opportunity for a new Capcom-based SNK game.
"I don’t know. But, if that were to happen, that would take some time and effort in order create and release those kinds of games, but the short-term with what we can do now is at least reintroduce these past legacy games to a new audience, to people who may not have the opportunity to play it, because it might not be out on modern or current platforms," continued Matsumoto.
According to the Street Fighter developer, what this boils down to is exposure to fans old and new, as well as interest. Matsumoto says that if people become more familiar with these series in this day and age, then maybe there will indeed be opportunities in the future to make new installments of games like Marvel vs. Capcom and Capcom vs. SNK.
Matsumoto made it very clear that he and his team at Capcom really love these classic fighting game series. In fact, according to him Capcom has wanted to re-release these titles for many years now, and the timing was finally right to get Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics cooked up.
Even more interesting is that Matsumoto not only reveals that Marvel and Capcom have been in talks for years to make this collaboration happen, but also that Marvel is very aware how much fans love the Versus series and Marvel vs. Capcom. In fact, their awareness of how devoted a fan base these games have and how large the competitive scene still is was part of the inspiration for them being on board with even creating the upcoming collection in the first place.
"[Marvel was] also on board. Because of that, it’s kind of like the stars aligned," Matsumoto explained. "The timing was great, and now we are actually able to bring it to life. We’re all very excited. And some of the inspiration about doing this was that Marvel took notice of community-based tournaments at places like EVO."
Yes, the future potential for new Marvel vs. Capcom and Capcom vs. SNK installments is stronger than ever right now, and the bond between Capcom and SNK at this moment in time was further fortified today with the re-release of SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos.
In an absolutely out of left field announcement, both companies revealed that SNK's version of the iconic crossover is available for purchase right now on Steam, with launches on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and GOG coming next week.
You can read more on what Matsumoto had to say about future crossovers, as well as what the MvC compilation might mean for a potential Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 re-release, over on Dexerto.
