i've seen a lot of dp fans in the dpxdc fandom talk about not having access to comics so here. it's completely free, good quality scans (for most things), basically any dc comic you could want is there. you should have an adblocker but the ads aren't the worst if you don't, just noticeable and annoying. you're not gonna get a virus, i've been using the site for years, as have many other fans.

if you genuinely want to read the comics, take advantage of the sites comic fans have been using. there's new and old stuff and everything in between. crossovers too. whatever you want to read, you'll find there.

yeah okay we're all mad about the stupid time jump at the end of s4 and we think everyone except dustin being fine ??? is such weak writing right okay. we're dealing with teenagers here. heavily traumatized teenagers. and for whatever reason, their chosen angle was "they're going to help the town because they're heroes" okay fine whatever. but they also somehow? care about pursuing their love interests after all of that bullshit too?? starting with robin and vickie, regardless of whatever lesbian card they wanted to play giving her a love interest, do we really think robin would want to let someone in like that so soon after watching people she loves nearly die? that getting a girlfriend would be the first thing on her mind??? i'm sure robin is relieved to see vickie but it shouldn't have translated to "okay here's my chance!!". and steve being comforted by robin about nancy??? nancy running into jonathan's arms is to be expected and steve KNOWS that. i don't think he STILL expects an answer from nancy for his near-death love confession, especially in front of literally everyone they know. like i just think the most important thing to these characters would be that these people are Alive and Safe and despite being so young, would put aside their romantic feelings for JUST A FUCKING SECOND to grieve what happened. combining the pining with the weak "lets repair the town" plotline is just bad and muddy.

we know the duffers use shallow romance plots as a crutch fucking Always but it is just so sad to watch characters care about trivial crushes or exes after everything that's happened to them.

You were trying to keep our brothers safe." He watched Harp's eyes go wide at the 'our' brothers. Like he hadn't expected the rest of them to claim the Corries. Because he'd been hiding from them just like from the longnecks, he had falsified his— Deep breath in. Two flashes, no time for longer, leave no silence for Harp to panic in.  Breathe out. Keep going. 

This is not seven sentences, but it's also largely not complete sentences anyway, and it is literally what I just seconds ago finished writing. Still counts!

Well, here it is! The interview with Juan Amador Pulido on Twitch on October 18 answering my question about working on Punch-Out!! Wii. I went ahead and (did my best to) translate what was said.

Interviewer: Here we have, beatlesgirl [note: my username is beatlesgirl90] who says "What was it like voicing Don Flamenco in Punch-Out!! Wii? That is if you remember. He is the character that made me a fan of yours!".

Juan Amador: Yes, yes, wow. There's a lot of, there are many people who are fans of this character, huh? I was surprised. I recorded for this many years ago, not sure when to be exact. It could have been practically ten or twelve years ago.

It was recorded at Pinknoise [Studios] and I really wasn't aware that I was going to do Don Flamenco either. I remember that it was not a very long session, and they were very short phrases that he did. And well, I remember, as you know for video games we normally record looking at the audio waveform on the program that each studio uses to record for a video game. But in this video game, I do remember that there were quite a few cinematics and I saw his face. But I didn't think I had to worry because there are people who have written to me about this character.

Interviewer: That's good. I understand that you have a clear memory of this due to the fans writing to you about him?

Juan Amador: Yes, I believe so. Yes. *chuckles*

Interviewer: Do you remember a phrase or a word you said from this or no?

Juan Amador: Somewhat. What I do remember is he is always thinking about Carmen. In his beloved named Carmen. *in Don's voice* Carmen!

*laughter*

Juan Amador: My wife's name is Carmen, too.

*laughter*

Interviewer: Here, they put "olé!", in quotation marks.

Juan Amador: Oh yes, "olé!". That's another one of his phrases he said *in Don's voice* Olé!

*laughter*

Interviewer: Well, beatlesgirl says "thank you for responding to my question". She's the fan of the character who says "olé"...Don Flamenco.

Juan Amador: Yes, Don Flamenco.

Interviewer: They have put another phrase, "Carmen, mi amor".

Juan Amador: *In Don's voice* Carmen, mi amor! *normal voice* Yes, of course.

*chuckling*
