Those who were once oppressed under an Apartheid regime have stepped up to help those being oppressed under another one.
Meanwhile, the so-called "free" world is still trying to find ways to justify "standing with" and defending Israel's rogue racist Apartheid regime.
They should feel deep shame. They don't. But they all should.

noah’s statement about “either standing with israel or stand with terrorism” is manipulative in of itself, while he so willingly acknowledges the harm that came from hamas’ attack on oct. 7th he does not acknowledge the 70+ years of illegal occupation of palestinian land nor israeli’s driving out of palestinians off their land
his post came from a position of ignorance, willful or not, it created a false narrative of the situation that painted hamas as the sole aggressors within this conflict.
i shouldn’t have to to remind someone who reblogged my post in the first place, he’d get notifications off of every reblog and like after his response which should be enough of a reminder.
again, i live in south africa. if you know nothing about my country then i will shed some light. my country has one of the most gruesome history in regards to apartheid, some of the most egregious humanity crimes.
apartheid rule ended not even 31 years ago in this country, i have watched in real time the effects of apartheid filter into my everyday life, i have heard first hand the crimes and atrocities committed against my family, my friends and their families and so many other people.
the people in my country fought and died for the liberation of people of colour, you will NEVER know what generational trauma so many of these families still hold to this day.
THAT is why i find it important to speak out about palestine, because people close to me could have and did died at the hands of their opressors and nobody stopped that.
apartheid within my country should have ended a long time ago, we should have never been subjected to such gross human violations, which is exactly why i care to speak about palestine
nobody came to help, nobody raised awareness about this. so yes, i will continue to talk about this on this blog, because i hope to never see another country go through the pain and suffering that my country still feels the effects of to this day.
you don’t get to sit and call me a performative activist when you will never know what i, and the rest of my country has gone through.
i come from a position of privilege still, while my family was beaten at the hands of white men, I exist in a society where i don’t have to live under that being lawful.
so i will spend however long it takes raising awareness and holding white men accountable for their actions because nobody deserves to have gone through what i have seen and heard.
speaking out DOES matter, when apartheid rule was at its worst, South Africa faced international sanctions that aimed at pressuring the apartheid government to dismantle the racial segregation system.
when my children and anyone from the next generations asks me what i did to make a difference, i can actually say that i did something, can you?
nobody, much less i, is justifying what happened on October 7th, we can agree objectively that it was horrible and unjust. It is however not an isolated event, there have been decades of oppression that provide a larger context than “hamas attacked israel”.
to act as though israel suffered more on October 7th than palestine has for decades is very obtuse, nothing will ever be able to justify the scale of what happened and what has continued to happen.
israel has frequently displayed to the public that they have no want nor care for peace, so to expect people to show the same amount of care and sympathy towards israel in comparison to palestine is naive.
btw let this serve as a reminder that while Netflix is pushing promo for stranger things 5 there are OTHER WAYS YOU CAN WATCH THE SHOW WITHOUT GIVING YOUR MONEY TO GENOCIDE SUPPORTERS
fuck israel, fuck noah schnapp and fuck brett gelman!
thank you, goodnight
