This is the first Dimension 20 season where I’ve been like “5e? Really?”

Even among the systems they’ve used, DnD 5e seems like a really weird choice for this season

it made sense for Burrow’s End, since the players would not have acted the same way if 5e wasn’t the system (and the PCs jumping to violence 5e style was a part of Aabria’s storytelling)

but for steampunk/western, something like SW5e (a system that the players have tried and love) would work much better imho than the medieval fantasy of DnD 5e
