Pakistan Zindabad

Yalghaar – a movie, which has been released on this Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan along with 22 other countries of the world. Just before the Eid, a premiere of the movie was held at Islamabad, and the reviews were shared on social media made me speechless until and unless I myself watched the movie.

Just a day before, an event of special screening of Yalghaar movie by Bank Alfalah was held at Cinepax Cinema, Karachi. It was attended by media, press, socialites, bloggers, celebrities, along with the movie cast.

A movie starts from war and ends at war, because it’s Yalghaar. A movie which is based on a true story. All you can find in it from action and thriller to comedy and romance.

Nothing is perfect, so one more thing I would like to share that there were many blunders in the movie like over casting, wrong placement of brand, no scene sequence, unexpected intermission, dialogue delivery (few artists), etc. were the few from the movie. But I must say these all can be ignored because of strong, true and untold story of Pakistan Army, and you’ll definitely love the movie.

Story is very clear! It’s an army operation in which they’ve to clear swat area from terrorists. The tempo of the movie was very good, you’ll never feel bore but yes there were very few scenes in which you might lose attention.

If I talk about the actors so Shaan shahid, Bilal Ashraf, Adnan Siddiqui, Umair Jeswal and Ayub Khoso were played the role of soldiers. So on the other hand, Sana Bucha, Uzma Khan, Ayesha Omar, and Armeena Rana Khan played the role of wives, and girlfriends. While Humayun Saeed was the villain of the movie, and Gohar Rasheed was the part of his group.

Except few actor not everyone could become successful to satisfy the audience by their acting skills. The movie also had few emotional scenes as well, which might bring tears in your eyes.

It’s not a game of TRPs, it’s a game of happiness. In the holy month of Ramadan, spreading happiness should be the first duty of every individual, owner of a company, media, and so on.

Among so many TV channels that are trying their best to spread happiness in the month of blessings, TV One is one of them. Since the start of Ramadan, TV One has broadcasted its Ramadan Transmission with the name “Ishq Ramazan” which has successfully captured the hearts of many audience, and “The Sahir Lodhi Show (TSLS)” is one of the part of this Ramadan transmission.

I was recently invited by TV One to cover their game show TSLS. The show started with the dabanng entry of Sahir Lodhi, then he invited captains (guests) on stage to introduce them. The captains of the day were Waji and Wali.

There were so many giveaways, big prizes including cars, bikes among many others, and most important there were so many Umrah tickets to distribute among audience, and this Ramadan Transmission is the only transmission of Pakistan that distributes more than 50 Umrah tickets every day.

The games were so simple, easy, and entertaining. If one game was eating Gol-Gapaas, so the other was armed wrestling among women. Eating cakes, washing dishes, and jumping were few of the games among many others. Whenever Sahir ask to audience who will come for this game, so that’s the moment when the sound of speakers become meaningless because of excitement and high level energy of audience.

The last segment of TSLS was the segment when heart beats became fast, because it was all about fortune. In this segment the participant has to open the boxes as much as possible with the given keys in 1 minute. Cars, bikes, and so many big prizes were there in each box. So, out of the 5 participants only 4 could open the boxes and became successful to win the prizes including bikes, Umrah tickets, gold, and many others.

Well, that’s all from game show. Now I’m going to share the most important thing about Sahir Lodhi. Sahir Lodhi is consider as controversial figure. I along with other 3 invited bloggers had personal session with Sahir Lodhi. I didn’t even imagine that how down to earth he would be? He is so down to earth person, and a patriotic Pakistani. After the incident of girl (Watch in Video), people started calling him anti-Pakistan, and used abusive language for him, even he received threats. He’s very talented Host/RJ/Actor, and can easily get job at any of the country of the world. But he want to serve Pakistani.

We know Sahir Lodhi on camera, but behind the camera he’s entirely different. His 80% income goes to charity work. He has also opened a clinic at Surjani Town, where patients get free treatment, and now in the coming years he’s going to open hospital. And every day after the show, more than 250 people gather at backstage for free medical facilities. So, this is the real face of Sahir Lodhi! How a person can be anti-Pakistani who serve for Pakistan?

In the end, I would like to say 1 thing that don’t judge anyone before personally meeting him!

Ramadan is a month of blessings, and the TV channels are trying their best to spread blessings in terms of happiness by distributing giveaways, prizes, mega prizes such as motorcycles, cars, plots, houses, and so on, among audiences through very easy games, questions and activities.

Geo TV is one of the channel among those, and its game show “Geo Khelo Pakistan” is trying their best to not only capture the hearts of audience but also the viewers by spreading blessings as much as possible.

Geo Khelo Pakistan (GKP) is gaining popularity after each of its transmission. Because the show is being host by 2 living legends none other than Wasim Akram and Shoaib Akhtar, both are very big names of Pakistan in terms of cricket.

The combination of both hosts Wasim and Shoaib is simply love. Because if Shoaib is energetic so the decent talk of Wasim made the show perfect.

On the 6th day of Geo TV’s game show GKP, Ushna Shah became the guest of the day. The charming and the multitalented actress with the combo of Wasim and Shoaib added more entertainment in the show.

The audience became crazy to find her among them, and she also helped so many participants in different activities to win prizes. There were so many games for youth, aunties, uncles, families, and couples. Drink for bike, Male in Saree, throw the ball, turn of fortune were the few games among many, while the lucky draw was being held again and again, so that the lucky winner could get so many prizes.

In the last segment namely “Dhak Dhak Crore” was the segment when not only the heartbeat of participants became fast but also the entire audience passing through the same phase. Afterward it was a game to win 1 crore rupees. But unfortunately not even a single participant could win 1 crore, but then they were offered to play card game so that they can win car, and yes this time they did it.

It’s not about Geo TV or other TV channels, it’s all about the feelings of public, who comes with so many hopes. And this kind of game shows should be appreciated instead of criticizing. In the era of hatred and jealousy, these are the only shows that are spreading happiness among public.

Gymboree is development Centre with unique learning environment, and it aims to prepare child for life, not only for academics but also physically, cognitively and socially. In which the first thing comes physical growth, social development, two ways communication, skills enhancement, physical skills enhancement, confidence building, and 360° approach. While in Cognitive skills includes creative mindset, and creative approach.

Recently, Gymboree held an event with the name “Spring Fling” on 15th of April, at its DHA campus, in Karachi.

The event was attended by not only children but also their parents became part of it, and around 30 families with approximate 120 people joined it.

It was an amazing and fun learning environment. The sweetness and naughtiness was overloaded with the cuteness of little children. Many activities were going on at the same time. If one of the child was busy in taking slides, so other was playing with toys, while a group of children along with their parents were busy in painting pots, and every child was busy in activities. Throughout the event, the beautiful jingle was being played in the background, which was helping children and their parents to enjoy with calm. A small activity was done just before the refreshment, in which few of the staff members came on the floor, then started singing and dancing on the song of Gymboree along with the cute and little children.

On the other hand, the staff members were fully trying to facilitate every children, they were so cooperative and interactive with not only children but also with their parents. It was showing such a positive image of team Gymboree, and the parents present there, were feeling satisfied and proud to send their children here.

While talking about the event, one of parent said,

“This is my 1st time and I really enjoyed here, and this kind of activities are so beneficial for development of children.”

One other parent commented,

“It was very nice, decoration is good, friendly environment, and everything is well organized.”

There was also a photo booth with beautiful props, and almost every parent along with their children came on photo booth for picture. Because picture is the only thing that help to save memories for a long time, and memories with their beloved children at such kind of event means everything for parents.

Well, overall it was such a wonderful event in well-organized way. And this kind of events are so beneficial for every children, because it helps a lot in the development of children, and this is what the aim of Gymboree.

We live in a society, where we waste half of our time in comparison and rest in jealousy. As a result, we forget to focus on OURSELF. I also used to do these things, but believe me, it gives only negative vibes, which you willingly or unwillingly multiply into others. The day I left these all, I found an unbelievable change in Myself. My friends who used to say Why you take everything so negative. Now they say, We are getting positive vibes from you, boosted the confidence, true motivation and so on. These all could be possible because I believed in ME, changed myself and left all the gathering from where I used to get negative vibes.

Let me share how grateful this year was…

First month of the year

The first month of the year which starts with New Year celebrations and my birthday celebration on 6th January. In this month, I got a chance to visit and meet many high profiles of Pakistan. I participated into Ambassador Program of my university, and after clearing all stages, I was one of the Ambassador amongst 125 others for the year 2016-17. Well due to some financial issues I couldn’t take part in any national or international trip but then in 2018, I got a chance to visit Islamabad. It was 10 days trip, which included visits of President House, Prime Minister Secretariat, GHQ, NAB Headquarter and Supreme Court of Pakistan amongst many others. So that’s how my year 2018 officially kicked off.

Feb to May

From Feb to May, I became busy in working on thesis. I chose “Impact of Facebook on University Students in Karachi” as my research topic. And finally, in May, I accomplished it after clearing all the levels from beginning to end. After passing viva and submitting thesis to the university, I was unofficially graduated.

June & July

June and July known for vacations, so I did many hangouts with friends, and also helped my mates for their thesis film. Even I worked as a supporting role in one of the film. In the same month, I went into trauma because my cellphone got snatched. It might seem nothing for Karachites but as it happened for the very first time in the last ten years. So, I went into deep depression and lost 10 KG of my weight. Well, with friends and family support I overcome it soon.

Vlogging in August

Then in August, I officially entered into the field of vlogging and decided to travel outside Karachi. So, with the group of friends, I planned a trip for Mithi. It was a 3 days trip where we went to Mithi, Tharparker and from there we explored the architecture site of Jainism temples and went to mountain area of Nagar Parker. Only few of us could climb the mountain and I was one of them. The view from the 600 ft. of mountain was so breathtaking.

In the same month, I planned for another trip. This time it was Balochistan. Even a month isn’t enough to explore the whole Balochistan but I tried my best to promote the positive image of Balochistan. In this trip, we first went to Lasbela, Balochistan and from there we went to Hingol National Park, Nani Mandir and Kund Malir. We returned back to Lasbela to explore the agricultural site and natural picnic spot of Lasbela.

September & October

September and October were bit busiest, I participated in seminars, workshops, and meetings with different clients. After taking two short courses, I appeared and cleared test of Basics of Reporting & Basics of Editing conducted by CEJ in collaboration with British High Commission. After this, I participated in the IMPACT program of School of Leadership (SOL), which changed the entire perspective of my life. I felt so positive and boosted after this 4 days program of SOL. As I love to do socializing, so I got new many friends from CEJ and SOL.

November – The Convocation Month

Well, it’s time for November. I’d love to call it Convocation Month. Yes, it was 17th November when I officially graduated and made my family proud.

After graduation, I got a chance of picnic at Turtle beach and French beach. So, on 24th November I went to Turtle Beach to be a part of MAX program by SOL, where Umair Jaliawala and Waqar Ali interacted with the participants and engaged them into different activities. So, they can stretch themselves and come out from their comfort zone. On 27th Nov, again got a chance to visit a beach, but this time it was beyond. This time we did underwater diving, snorkelling and saw the marine life with our dive masks at French beach in Karachi. In the same month, I became the Global Peace Ambassador from Pakistan for the next two years.

Last month December

December, last month of the year. In this month I got a laptop from university and planned for the last trip of 2018. This time it was Ber Sharif village, which is approximately 35 KM away from Larkana.

Travelling is now the part of blood and would love to continue this even in next year (InnShahAllah). So, the year started with travelling and is going to end on the travelling. That’s the beauty of 2018.

Last but not least, if you have a will to do something, you can definitely do it. No one can stop you doing this. Keep following your passion, be down to earth, socialize with others and learn new things from people’s experience.

Goodbye 2018, and excited to welcome 2019 with more positive energy. And looking forward to many new, exciting and adventurous things. I also would like to share an idea for 2019,
