Even at the age of ten, Tadashi watched over his friends, trying to keep their spirits lifted. Each child had a gifted soul that kept their less fortunate lives filled with joy. Tsar Lunar had watched over the younglings from his home on the moon, and thought his strong soul and golden heart was an honorary trait.

After the Dark Age had ended, the Man in the Moon decided to take the younglings to the spirit world, and raise them to become Guardians in the future.

As time went on, each foundling was taken in by a Guardian to teach and help them enhance their individual abilities. Wasabi went on to become North’s ward, Gogo was taken in by Bunny, Honey Lemon became Tooth’s new fairy, and Fred was taken under the wings of the Sandman.

As for Tadashi, Manny decided to take the young boy in and raise him as his own.

For years, each child was raised and cared for by the Guardians, who taught them about their jobs and their roles as the protectors of childhood. As time went on, each youngling discovered their own unique abilities that made them guardians.

Now, after three hundred years, the children have grown into strong adults and are ready to become Guardians.

But when Pitch Black returns to spread his darkness across the Earth, the team will use all their unique strengths to fight back.

However, there was one small factor that neither Manny nor the Guardians considered: The Apprentice and Son of Pitch Black; Hiro.

The Nightmare Prince had spent his whole life in the dark, raised by his father to embrace his dark powers.

DIY - Cosplay!

Captured by PlaySomething Cosplay Photography Yes, that’s me! ^_^ Hope I got your attention now. This is a picture of me cosplaying Hiro Hamada from Big Hero 6! I started cosplaying long time back. Around fall 2012 when Comicon first started in Bangladesh. As you know I love animes, I wanted to be an anime character. I wanted to let my inner weeaboo come out. And long time back when I was a kid, I saw cosplayers on the internet. They were international cosplayers and they looked so good! Their cosplays were too on point! This is one of my favourite cosplayer because she cosplayed my anime waifu (Toga-chan) and she nailed it! Not only her cosplay was on point, the acting counts too!

Cosplayer:  Sandy サンディ (please give her some love) She may be my favourite but I did not start loving cosplays because of her. The cosplayers who inspired me were Jessica Nigri and Liui Aquino. They were so cool and they put so much effort into their cosplays that it inspired me to do mine the same way.

COSPLAY SESSION

Cosplay is something that seems easy and fun but really hard to do. You just gotta know at first that there are many different types of cosplay. There are genres like genderbend cosplay, crossplay cosplay, own-concept cosplay, etc. (I swear am not making these names up). And then there are different category for cosplay like fabric costume, heavy costume with foams, latex costume. There are several steps to do before you finish your cosplay: 1st - Choose a character. 2nd - Brain-storm on how to make this character (your own idea or too realistic) 3rd - Buy the items and materials that you need. 4th - Measure your body size. 5th - According to your result, make the costume. 6th - Make-up to look like your character. 7th - Be happy being the character until you take and wash it all off. :) You just have to remember to start easy. If you are really new to it, start with the easiest cosplay like I did. I started with L.) Trust me, L is the easiest cosplay in the world and it’s like the first choice for everyone’s first cosplay. Cosplayer: Rusmat Safin Pracchad. (His link is given below) Now, look at it properly. Basic materials are: Black short wig. Black eye liner. White make-up powder. White shirt. Blue jeans.

See? It’s still not that easy. Now let me give you guys an example on a cosplay of mine. I won’t show the steps of Hiro Hamada because it’s not an anime character. Let me show you guys a picture of an anime character that I cosplayed.

T-A-D-A! It’s Usui and Misaki chan. ^-^ For doing this cosplay, I had to make plans and make a list right? I followed the steps but I made it in my own way because it’s my cosplay.

See? I draw them out on a note copy first and decide on the items and budget later. This is my way of brain-storming (Yeah I know, it’s silly ;-;). It pretty much turned out great to me! Thankfully, I didn’t have to sew anything for my costume. Some costumes need lots of sewing! Get someone with a sewing machine if you can. For the make-up (eye lenses, powder), my friends helped me out.

There is this thing about cosplay. When I first found out about it, I felt so much better and had so much fun. The thing is that after you wear your costume and make-up, you will feel this enormous feeling coming out of you! No joke! The reason is that, you will start acting like that character and that will give you so much encouragement! It’s very empowering. When I first cosplayed L, I felt like L. I am weird, I know haha. Anime brought that out for me and I don’t regret it. Cosplaying is also a part of the aesthetics of anime and now you know why. Now I want to see you guys having that much empowerment too! Just follow my steps and go out there and cosplay!

Inventing Charisma

Moving to San Fransokyo was the most terrifying thing he had ever done, and Marco forced himself not to include the financial cost of the relocation across the country. In hopes of fulfilling his dream of becoming an engineer to design and edit robots, the only institute that offered the necessary programs was San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. And frankly, the young robotics engineer missed the fields of home. How small and intimate the town of Trost was with its population size. His family and friends wished Marco well before he took those cautious, brave steps towards the terminal.

Once off the airplane and a week blurred together without warning, Marco found himself heartbroken and thankful he had his ESA with him. Unlike the acronym—Emotional Support Animal—Marco invented an Electronic Support Animal, designed to care for their owners and equipped with a myriad of functions. The ESA could speak the owner’s native language when communication was needed, but otherwise would sound like a living canine. Contacting emergency response teams, accessing weather reports and news, health scans, and that was the beginning. Callaghan was impressed at the conference and Marco accepted the invitation to the institute without hesitation.

Now, that leaves him alone in a world not traveled by, alone in the streets of San Fransokyo.

Feet guided him further onto the institute’s grounds, his golden retriever—Sandy—padding eagerly beside her owner. Anxiety began to swell inside Marco’s chest, second-guessing coming here to scout out the student research lab on a weekend instead of school hours. The campus was buzzing no doubt, but the thought of wondering aimlessly was what fueled the beast within. The autumn breeze ruffled his raven locks as he continued travelling the paved sidewalk, suddenly jerking forward when Sandy abruptly ran ahead of Marco.

“Sandy, heel!” Marco commanded, caught off guard by the sudden move. She was well behaved, and—well—a robot; she was programmed to follow protocol and verbal commands. Why was Marco forced to chase after the dangling leash? “Sandy!”

This robotic canine couldn’t be detecting emotional turmoil from another person in a moment’s notice, could it?

A golden coat disappeared around the corner, hearing a startled yelp and a concerned whine from Sandy. Sharp thumps met his rib cage, rounding the corner to find Sandy pressed against a young man inches taller than he, chuckling softly as he gave into the canine snuggling up to his legs. When the male noticed Marco’s presence, he gave a warm smile despite the exhausted facial expression.

“Is this your dog?” He inquired despite keeping his balance.

“Yeah, this is Sandy, my ESA.” Marco answered with a smile, watching how gentle the male was with her. Tender rubs behind her ears. Loving pats to her back. Sandy was more than content with the twinkle in her eyes. “I created her for the conference and she’s who I owe my success to.”

“Sandy…she’s beautiful.” He echoed in awe, inspecting her to find the panel behind her neck. “How long did it take to build her?”

“A month for the blueprints and a little over five months until I got everything in place.” Came the nervous chuckle, finding the male sighing in genuine amusement.

“That’s incredible! I wish I could get my project done that fast.” He breathed, peering up at Marco at the gentle hum.

“You will. If you’ve put enough dedication into it, I’m sure you’ll finish your project.” Marco encouraged, his chest warming at the smile curving on the male’s lips. From the way dark hues eyed him, Marco knew that was probably the only positive thing that had happened all day.

“It needs some tweaking, but Baymax should be finished soon.” He thought aloud, adding a soft “hopefully” under his breath. “Anyways, I’m heading back to the lab if you would like to join?”

“Ah, the student research lab?”

“That’s the one!”

“I actually came here looking for that.” Marco laughed nervously, rubbing his neck awkwardly as the male’s laughter sang melodies.

“Well, you’ve come to the right place.” He concluded, suddenly taken back. “I’m really off kilter today, I’m so sorry I didn’t introduce myself.” An outstretched hand welcomed Marco, his smile returning as if it never left. “Tadashi Hamada.”

“Marco Bodt.”

There was a certain…warmth? Strength? There was something pulling Marco closer to Tadashi, and the friendly atmosphere reinforced his theory that people like him do exist—that charisma like this is far from extinct. When Marco met his eyes, the first thought popping to mind was “We’re going to be best friends.”

Not the most sensible thought when one meets a stranger, but instincts told him that this would not be the last they interacted. That they would become friends in record time, that adventures awaited them.

And Marco, for the first time, felt at ease around a new person.
