This is one of the reasons why I've grown to hate streaming. Yeah, it's convenient but if a platform decides to get rid of something, *poof*. It's gone forever. No physical copies for us to rewatch anytime we like. The show/movie is just gone, especially if it's an original work for a specific streaming platform. It's happening way too often now. We should demand they release their shows/movies to DVD too. It's not good enough to only be able to stream something when these companies are ending shows after the first or second season (that's a whole other conversation to have). Let's not even get into purchasing digital movies or shows on a platform that can still be taken away later on if they decide to remove it. We, the consumers, need to push back on this only digital releases. It gives streaming platforms all the power. We need physical copies to make a comeback.

First Kill was like Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets True Blood in all the best ways. Action, romance, humor, drama and weird looking monsters plus an intro you can't get out of your head. I wish it had been given a real chance

Restless pt.1

Calliope and Juliette had both been depriving themselves of both food and sleep. Neither of them felt like they could face one another after everything that happened the night Theo was turned. Calliope drowned herself in hunting, she now had a tattoo representing the eight kills she had gained over the past two weeks, while Juliette was either at school tuning out everything, not knowing how she even made it through a school day, or locked away in her room, laying in her bed almost lifeless but not willing to let her body rest for more than an hour because if she slept any longer her mind would replay that night and she’d wake up in tears with a throbbing headache. Calliope was lost without Juliette but she couldn’t risk going to sleep and seeing Juliette because she was already in so much pain and she was afraid seeing the pain she had caused Juliette, the one person who could bring her peace, happiness, and make her forget about everything wrong in her life, would kill her. She was so angry at the fact that she let herself break the heart of the person she loved and couldn’t live without.

Juliette couldn’t take the pain anymore it had been three weeks since everything happened and she was exhausted. She let her feet take her to her car then, the bar where everything happened and before she could even think she was draining some man in the alleyway letting herself get high off the man’s blood. She didn’t let herself feel bad for what she just did, she couldn’t, she had already let herself feel too much. She dumped the man in the same pond her and Elinor had before everything happened. When she finally got home she went up to her room, grateful that her parents hadn’t cared what she did in weeks since they were too consumed with her sibling’s problems, and finally let herself drift off to sleep. She had finally slept through a full night and fed and yet she still woke up feeling drained, in pain and lonely, missing the warmth of calliope’s arms around her. Juliette continued to let herself sleep knowing she wouldn’t see cal after a few nights with no dreams, but was in even more pain knowing calliope wasn’t letting herself sleep. Calliope continued to deprive herself of sleep and food barely ever eating or sleeping for another whole week until she couldn’t take it anymore. She knew she couldn’t live without Juliette and by this point she could barely function, her body was weak and tired but couldn’t rest without Juliette. She let her body carry herself to Juliette’s house using the last of her strength to climb the side of her house. She looked through the window to see Juliette sleeping, she let herself in and just stared at a sleeping Juliette who had dried tears on her cheeks. Juliette had cried herself to sleep this night letting all her emotions pour out until she couldn’t anymore. After a few minutes calliope couldn’t take being away from Juliette any longer she quietly took her boots off and climbed into Juliette’s bed, being careful and slow with her movements trying not to wake Juliette. After she was under the covers she placed her head in Juliette’s neck, wrapped one of her arms around Juliette tightly, and tried to fight the tears welling in her eyes and the lump building in her throat. Her breathing became shaky until finally she couldn’t hold it in anymore and let out a cry so powerful it shook her whole body.

Juliette woke to something heavy shaking and holding her body down. She turned her head slightly and her nose was filled with the smell of calliope’s shea butter and milk shampoo. It wasn’t until she felt wetness on her neck that she finally realized what was happening and she couldn’t bring herself to be mad at calliope. She wrapped her arms around calliope, one rubbing up and down cal’s back and the other rubbing the nape of her neck. Cal felt Jules comforting her and cried even harder, letting “I’m sorry” and “I love you” fall from her mouth over and over. Juliette shushed cal’s words saying “I love you too” before kissing cal’s forehead. She couldn’t help but shed some tears as well, she knew there was so much they needed to talk about but she was too exhausted to do anything other than comfort cal. Cal’s crying slowed down after a long few minutes and her body finally passed out from all the exhaustion she had put herself through. Juliette followed not long after.

When they woke the next morning Juliette could see just how drained cal’s body was. Juliette sat up looking into cal’s drained eyes and was heartbroken seeing how bad cal had beat herself up about this. Juliette was heartbroken yes but not because of what cal said but because she knew she had made a mistake that was unforgivable. “When’s the last time you ate anything” Juliette said “ I don’t know” cal responded her voice almost not even there. “Come, I know we have a lot to talk about but you need to eat something”. Cal tried to sit up, as soon as she was upright her head started throbbing and she fell back into Juliette’s side. Juliette placed Calliope’s head back onto the pillows realizing that cal was too weak to walk down the stairs to the kitchen. She was getting up to grab cal something to eat and some water but felt something weakly tugging at her shirt, when she turned back she looked and saw cal looking at her with pleading eyes “please don’t leave me, I’m sorry” cal whimpered her hand still balled up in Juliette’s shirt “I’m coming back I promise, I’m just getting you something to eat okay” Juliette said cal’s hand finally released her and she placed a soft kiss to calliope’s lips before quickly going to the kitchen and grabbing cal a bottle of water, some orange juice, and a sandwich, the Fairmont’s fridge wasn’t very full considering the fact that they didn’t need food to survive, she then went back upstairs sitting the food on her nightstand. She helped calliope sit up, her body leaning against the headboard, while her head lulled to the side, resting on Juliette’s shoulder. Juliette fed cal the sandwich slowly, and made sure she had a significant amount of water and orange juice. When calliope was done they sat there in silence for a few moments, Juliette absentmindedly grabbing cal’s hand and fiddling with her fingers. After a few minutes of peaceful silence cal moved to lay in Juliette’s lap her head resting on Juliette’s thighs while her face was nuzzled into Juliette’s nightshirt, and her arms wrapping around Juliette’s waist. Cal knew she had a lot to apologize for but for now she just needed rest after weeks of exhaustion building up. Juliette massaged calliopes scalp lulling cal to sleep, she waited until she heard snores to adjust cal so that they were both wrapped up in each other and went to sleep. Their bodies finally at peace.

Whatever they had to discuss it could wait till tomorrow.

I Did Not suffer through the age of Girls Gone Wild and having every giggling drunk girl I met trying to make out with me just because "her boyfriend thinks it's hot" to now have every sapphic show canceled and removed with lies about low views and ratings skewed by bigoted review bombers who never actually watched the show. It's blatant discrimination and studios can't pretend otherwise! I'm so tired of this shit!
