Jane, my beloved. The real tragedy of your story is not just that you needed therapy, for someone to gaze into you soul and bare witness to your ugliest truths. For your affliction to be seen under the light of knowledge. To be told that you are still loved, that there is a cure.

Why were so you toxic?

No one would listen about the ant infestation, right?

Did you do what you believed was needed?

Did they already think you where ugly anyways?

Is that why you embraced it?

Is that why the hive called with a song so sickeningly sweet. A song that told you you are loved. That you CAN be inviting, a good host, and appreciated! A home to the ugly, gross, and unloved.

But you where getting evicted. Soon to become homeless. Another disheveled figured to ugly to bare witness, to gross to be cared for or loved. Affording therapy was never an option was it.

So you turned to the only help you could afford.

A group who's interested in this affliction was only with regard to what it would do. They didn't want to help, they wanted your tragedy.

So there you where. Homeless, disheveled, and unloved. Another of the "unclean". So why not just embrace it. Spread its terror, spread its love. Is that it Jane, or did you just want to show those "pretty young things" what it feels like to be unloved and reviled.

Those who have read my about me know that I’m a victim of long term bullying. I just wanna know— anyone here gone through the same? And if so, do you even know why?

Cause I’m here, a grown ass adult, and I’m still scared that I’ll go down the street and meet the very people who made my life miserable. I can’t make friends without freaking out about whether they’re talking shit. It’s scarred me in a way that I can’t even comprehend, even if it sounds dramatic.

I’m thinking about how a person could be so twisted and entitled to think that they dictate how another person should be feeling. And mostly, it’s for self gratification. And what’s worse is some people are (understandably) cowards and don’t want it to happen to them, but I find it kind of ridiculous how nobody really wants to do anything about bullying or knows how bad it gets until they experience it. Which really irks me because I’m the part of the recovery spectrum that actually feels like it has to stop. That actively fights against it.

I have rarely seen people who speak up about it, especially those who experience it because they don’t want to cause problems, and that’s what kind of frightens me. That a group of people or just one person damages somebody so much that they don’t want to speak up.

People are human. Treat them that way.

So I’m just here venting and I also wanna say that guys, if you have experienced bullying of any kind, drop an ask. I wanna help, even if it’s just by hearing your story. I don’t care what it is, how bad it is, bullying is bullying and it scars you.

I’m gonna tag as many people as I can think of so they can add their own comments or get it out to as many people as they can.
