NGO for Healthcare In India: 15 Government Healthcare Schemes in India That You Need To Know

Both a universal social aim and a fundamental human right is health. It is important for improving life quality and for meeting fundamental human requirements. One causal element influencing the nation's overall economic growth rate is health. Even the poorest developing nations should prioritise investing in the health sector, as development is a direct result of good health. Regrettably, nations with low levels of human development have made inadequate investments in health, and as a result, the health sector is still underutilised and neglected.
Healthcare schemes in India You must know about NGO for healthcare in India
The government has implemented various programmes under the auspices of the National Health Mission. These programmes include:
Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCH+A) programme, which aims to address the primary causes of death for women and children as well as the barriers that prevent them from accessing and using health care and services quickly. Along with these, it introduces new initiatives such as the National Iron + Initiative to address anaemia in all age groups, the use of scorecards to track health performance, and Comprehensive Screening and Early Interventions for diseases, deficiencies, and birth defects in children and adolescents.
The goal of the significant Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) programme is to identify and treat children under the age of eighteen years as soon as possible. The programme covers the four "Ds"—defects at birth, deficiencies, diseases, and developmental delays, including disability. Early illness identification and treatment, including deficiency management, is beneficial in halting the progression of some ailments to more severe and incapacitating forms.
The Karyakram of Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya- The program's guiding principles include gender equity, equity and inclusion, teenage leadership and engagement, and strategic alliances with other stakeholders and sectors. By making responsible decisions about their health and well-being and by getting the resources and assistance they require, the project helps all Indian teenagers reach their full potential.
The Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakaram initiative was started by the Indian government to encourage those who still prefer to deliver babies at home to use institutions instead.
• The government has launched a number of programmes to help people fight diseases because the number of deaths in the nation from communicable and non-communicable diseases is rising alarmingly. This initiative is based on the hope that states will step up and guarantee that benefits under JSSK with NGO for healthcare in India would reach every needy pregnant woman entering a government institutional facility.
• Every year, heart attacks, cancer, diabetes, and other diseases claim the lives of almost 5.8 million individuals in India. Put differently, one Indian out of every four faces the possibility of passing away before reaching 70 due to a non-communicable illness. Heart disorders account for 1.7 million deaths in India, according to the World Health Organisation.
The National AIDS Control Organisation was founded to ensure that all HIV-positive individuals receive high-quality treatment and are treated with respect. Through establishing strong partnerships with non-governmental organisations, women's self-help groups, faith-based institutions, positive people's networks, and local communities, NACO and other NGO for healthcare in India aim to enhance service accessibility and accountability. At the state, district, and local levels, it is dedicated to creating a supportive atmosphere where people living with HIV/AIDS take the lead in all efforts to combat the pandemic.
The Indian government's state-run Revised National TB Control Programme aims to eradicate tuberculosis in India and is a tuberculosis control project. Through the government health system, the programme offers a range of high-quality, free TB diagnostic and treatment services to people all around the nation.
To offer appropriate medical rehabilitation and leprosy ulcer care services, as well as early diagnosis via active monitoring by skilled health workers, the government launched the National Leprosy Eradication Programme.
The Indian government started Mission Indradhanush with the intention of increasing the nation's immunisation rate. By December 2018, it hopes to reach at least 90% immunisation coverage, which will include children in both rural and urban regions who are not vaccinated or who are just partially vaccinated.
To ensure that everyone has access to minimum mental healthcare in the near future, the Indian government launched the National Mental Health Programme in response to the severe burden of mental disorders and the lack of trained professionals in the field.
To eradicate polio in India, the government launched the Pulse Polio vaccination programme, which aims to immunise all children under five against the polio virus.
In addition to improving access to affordable and dependable tertiary healthcare services across the nation by establishing new institutions like AIIMS and modernising government medical colleges, the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) was introduced with the goal of redressing regional disparities in the provision of such services.
Due to the extreme gaps in income, the government has initiated a number of projects to assist the nation's economically disadvantaged population. Due to the fact that 3.2 crore Indians spend their own money on healthcare in a given year, they are considered to be below the national poverty level. The most significant government initiative is Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi, which offers patients with life-threatening illnesses and those living below the poverty line financial support to receive medical care at any government-run super speciality hospital or institution.
In order to promote better knowledge of the negative consequences of tobacco smoking and the tobacco control laws, as well as to make it easier for the laws to be implemented effectively, the National Tobacco Control Programme was established.
The Integrated Child Development Service with NGO for Healthcare in India was established to enhance the health and nutrition of children aged 0 to 6, establish a solid foundation for the child's proper psychological, physical, and social development, and facilitate the efficient coordination and execution of policies among departments. Additionally, the service aims to empower mothers to better manage their children's routine health and nutrition requirements through education and proper nutrition.
What healthcare-related initiatives does Search NGO pursue?
Expensive medical care pushes millions of people annually beyond the poverty line and keeps many of the already impoverished from receiving care. Most individuals still cannot afford or obtain needed medications. In an effort to enhance the provision of public health services, Search NGO has participated in a statewide initiative. To increase access to healthcare and necessary medications, we are collaborating with states around the nation.

I need to talk about this because it's making me feel insane.
Last week, my white leftist goyisch friends sat me, a wholeass antizionist Jew, down for a "talk" because they "needed to check in about Palestine" and make sure "our values aligned before we hung out again". They apparently needed to "suss out" where I stood on Palestinian rights, despite having had several conversations about Palestine and them being some of my closest friends. They needed to check, to search for and uncover my true values, because I had said some "disturbing things" that had made them "suspicious".
Disturbing things included:
Supporting IfNotNow which is a "liberal zionist organization" because it normalizes Jewish heritage in the Levant
Not bringing Palestine up enough, despite them also not bringing it up (this was apparently a test)
Mentioning that the Houthi's flag talks about cursing all Jews
Saying Stalin was antisemitic because of the "all the paw-grihms"
...and apparently other things they wouldn't specify, but had been tracking for months.
To clarify, I am an antizionist Jew from three generations of antizionist Jews. I have been vocal in my support of Palestinian liberation and in my condemnation both of Israel's actions and its violent founding as a state, and of zionism in many of its forms. I am a regular donor to Palestinian and Jewish NGOs and advocate for Jewish antizionism in person, at temple, and online. I have been talking about Palestinian liberation before they could point to Gaza on a map. But they needed to make sure, they needed to "suss out", they needed to check. And it's notable that the majority of moments that made them suspicious of me were times where I talked about antisemitism: not about Palestinian liberation, not about Israeli decolonization, not about anything actually relevant to Palestine. It was talking about antisemitism that made them check to see if I was a cryptozionist.
One of the most pervasive and insidious forms of antisemitism is the idea that Jews are inherently untrustworthy and suspicious. You have to constantly be on guard, track what they say and do, "suss out" the real truth. You have to keep them in line and and watch them carefully because they're liars and sneaks, and if you're not looking closely they'll return to their real values (and drag you down with them). This is where the idea of "cryptozionist" comes from and what it's directly building off of: the inherent untrustworthiness of Jews and the need to check. Because no matter how close you become you can't actually trust them, and any upstanding gentile should make sure to avoid associating with Jews before "sussing out" their real allegiances and intentions. You have to make them turn out their pockets, just in case.
I'm the first and only Jew they actually were friends with; I know because they've told me (strangely proud of it in the way white Americans are proud of that kind of thing). They've asked me questions about Judaism and fawned over how beautiful and unique it was for me to be connected to my community and culture. Pre-October 7th, one of them had even mentioned being interested in coming to services at my temple. She still has my copy of our siddur. But now she needed to "check" before she could be seen with me in public. Which is what it was: it wasn't a "you're my friend and I need to give you some feedback because you're fucking up" kind of intervention (which is normal and important to have), it was a trial. It was a last chance for me to prove to them that I'm clean-enough that they could afford to risk being seen with me in public, just in case someone noticed them fraternizing with a hypothetical Enemy and their leftism was compromised. It was a test to make sure that I behave properly when required to, that I'd play along and do what I'm told and turn out my pockets if asked (because any refusal would validate the notion of having something to hide). And above all it was an opportunity for them to reaffirm their own cleanliness by putting my imagined immorality in its place.
I did what I needed to do: I smiled. I apologized. I "didn't know that". I "appreciated the feedback". I turned out my pockets because what else could I do? They'd decided who I was and what I believed, regardless of what I said or did, so there was no point in explaining that they were wrong about me. If I had told them they were being antisemitic, it would just have been proof that they were right. Caring about antisemitism is a dogwhistle in the spaces they've chosen: it's not a real form of oppression, it's a tactic for sneaky, lying Jews to weasel out of admitting their true alliances. There was nothing I could say.
Nothing's really changed for me. I'm going to continue my activism for Palestinian liberation rooted in my culture and my faith. Antizionism is still not antisemitism. But I got a reminder that many white goyisch leftists fundamentally just don't trust Jews, and that the activist spaces they're in not only exacerbate their antisemitism in an increasingly insular echo chamber, but also allow them to finally vent their internalized bigotry in a socially-acceptable way. In my former friends' eyes, what they did was activism—disavowing a Jew (and making me feel humiliated, scared, and unclean in the process) as a cathartic stand-in for doing fucking anything for actual Palestinian liberation—but for me it was a grief that I'll be feeling for a long time: not only over losing friends I loved and trusted, but also over my sense of belonging and security in leftist spaces.
#jumblr#I need to talk about this because I feel like I'm losing it a little#its incredibly disconcerting to have this come out of nowhere from people I trusted and it's hard to not blame myself somehow#antizionism#antizionist jew#judaism#jewish#jew#jewblr#leftist#leftism#leftist antisemitism#antisemitism#Palestine#Israel#again to reiterate: I am just as committed to Palestinian liberation as ever and antizionism is still not antisemitism#but fuck do some leftists put in the legwork to making it seem like it is huh#free Palestine

NGOs में Jobs for Freshers ??

जैसा कि आप title से समझ सकते हैं, कि इस article में हम लोग NGOs में available job openings for freshers के बारे में बात करने वाले हैं, लेकिन उससे पहले ये जान लेते है कि कौन से courses जरूरी है to make a career in social sector | वैसे तो अलग अलग NGOs में work करने के लिए अलग अलग qualification चाहिए होती है, जैसे अगर आप किसी law related NGO में apply करते हैं, तो आप law की degree लिए हों, ये जरूरी है | But हाँ,अगर आपने “Masters in Social Work” किया है, तो it will be a bonus, और आप किसी भी तरह के NGO में job के लिए apply कर सकते हैं |
Placement Coordinator
Surveyor Intern
Social Worker Internship
ये एक internship opportunity है, जिसमे आपका work किसी social worker को assist करना होता है, जो वो work कर रहें हों, उसमे आपको उन्हें help करना होगा | जैसे example के लिए अगर वो teaching करतें हैं तो intern students के data maintenance का work करेंगे |
Associate Coordinator
इस job role के नाम से ही जान सकते हैं कि आपका काम coordinator को assist करना होगा और उनकी पूरी तरह से help करना होगा | Coordinator is a person जो events या कोई program coordinate करता है, ये program या event NGO के main aim को represent करता है | For example, as an assistant आप registrations में help कर सकते है |
Volunteer
Social Service Assistant
Understanding of human psychology
Communication skills
Critical-thinking skills
Decision Making
“Meetworks” एक ऐसा platform है, जिसके द्वारा employers और job seekers आपस में connect कर सकते हैं | इसमें job seekers को “jobs near me”, “ratings & reviews”, “Call HR”, etc.

Yan Arranged Fiance (Dark) ~

You don't want to get married but yours parents wants you to get married as you are nearing your 30.
To make you get married they put a condition that if you don't get married they will give their whole inheritance to charity leaving you nothing.
As you have no boyfriend they search for suitable grooms for you and a strong man to handle their buisness empire as you work in a NGO as social worker because you have no interest in handling buisness.
Yan fiance who falls for you and becomes obsessed with you as soon as your parents introduce to him.
Yan fiance who announces your engagement the day he met you to the media and whole world. He knows it's too fast but he can't let you slip from his grasp so he has to put a claim on you infront of the world. Therefore you have a huge diamond ring on your finger which is a expensive limited edition rare piece that if you sell it and run away it would provide you till your old age.
The whole buisness world is shocked as yan fiance is a lot richer, successful and big company than your parent's company. Why marry you? When he can marry someone more successful and rich.
Yan fiance buys your NGO under the facade of saying "I just want to do charity" when in reality he just wants to keep an eye on you.
You tried running away because you don't want to get married. Your parents freaked out but no worries. Your engagement ring has a GPS tracker hidden in it. And the secret security team that always follow you are just on their way to bring you home. He could have locked you even before attempting to run thanks to his security team informing him beforehand but he wanted to see your try running away as he thought it was cute how you thought you can run away from him.
The security team brings you back to him while he just gives you a crooked smile and says " Had fun while doing jogging, darling?"
"Bastard" you cursed.
"This is the bastard you are getting married to, Love " he kisses your cheek and left.
Yan fiance turns around and speaks "one more thing sweetheart. Instead of wasting your time in running away use it in planning our wedding and future life".
Requests are open!

ive been trying to look up the research i read a while ago about the negative relationship between fundraising for charitable causes and using guilt- or scolding-based messaging (to wit, that even though we think as humans that logically yelling at or scolding or guilt tripping someone will make them donate more to a charitable cause, that actually making the target audience feel bad causes an aversive response that lowers the amount of money you raise, or causes a "slaughter the sheep" effect where someone donates once but forms no ongoing relationship with the charity and avoids you from then on, both principles being pretty strongly supported in other areas of human behavior research afaik?) because ive been trying to formulate a post about it that is more likely to be received as constructive rather than critical (which it is not meant to be, critical that is), and since corpo scam charities and NGOs (also scams) are mostly the ones doing this research every search result i find about it is marketer nonsense.
however, this post from 2016 which starts out with the marketing expert relating a story of the time he almost killed his childhood friend with a rock is like one of those horrifying reddit posts that get turned into youtube spook compilations, which is SO funny in this context

A Big TB Announcement
Greetings from Washington D.C., where I spent the morning meeting with senators before joining a panel that included TB survivor Shaka Brown, Dr. Phil LoBue of the CDC, and Dr. Atul Gawande of USAID. Dr. Gawande announced a major new project to bring truly comprehensive tuberculosis care to regions in Ethiopia and the Philippines. Over the next four years, this project can bring over $80,000,000 in new money to fight TB in these two high-burden countries.
Our family is committing an additional $1,000,000 a year to help fund the project in the Philippines, which has the fourth highest burden of tuberculosis globally.
Here’s how it breaks down: The Department of Health in the Philippines has made TB reduction a major priority and has provided $11,000,0000 per year in matching funds to go alongside $10,000,000 contributed by USAID and an additional $1,000,000 donated by us. This $22,000,000 per year will fund everything from X-Ray machines, medications, and GeneXpert tests to training and employing a huge surge of community health workers, nurses, and doctors who are calling themselves TB Warriors. In an area that includes nearly 3,000,000 people, these TB Warriors will screen for TB, identify cases, provide curative treatment, and offer preventative therapy to close contacts of the ill. We know this Search-Treat-Prevent model is the key to ending tuberculosis, but we hope this project will be both a beacon and a blueprint to show that It’s possible to radically reduce the burden of TB in communities quickly and permanently. It will also, we believe, save many, many lives.
—
I believe we can’t end TB without these kinds of public/private partnerships. After all, that’s how we ended smallpox and radically reduced the global burden of polio. It’s also how we’ve driven down death from malaria and HIV. For too long, TB hasn’t had the kind of government or private support needed to accelerate the fight against the disease, but I really hope that’s starting to change. I’m grateful to USAID for spearheading this project, and also to the Philippine Ministry of Health for showing such commitment and prioritizing TB.
—
One reason this project is even possible: Both the cost of diagnosis (through GeneXpert tests) and the cost of treatment with bedaquiline are far lower than they were a year ago, and that is due to public pressure campaigns, many of which were organized by nerdfighteria. I’m not asking you for money (yet); Hank and I will be funding this in partnership with a few people in nerdfighteria who are making major gifts. But I am asking you to continue pressuring the corporations that profit from the world’s poorest people to lower their prices. I’ve seen some of the budgets, and it’s absolutely jaw-dropping how many more tests and pills are available because of what you’ve done as a community.
—
I don’t yet have the details on which region of the Philippines we’ll be working in, but it will be an area that includes millions of people–perhaps as many as 3 million. And it will include urban, suburban, and rural areas to see the different responses needed to provide comprehensive care in different communities. This will not (to start!) be a nationwide campaign, because even though $80,000,000 is a lot of money, it’s not enough to fund comprehensive care in a nation as large as the Philippines. But we hope that it will serve as a model–to the nation, to the region, and to the world–of what’s possible.
—
I’m really excited (and grateful) that our community gets to have a front-row seat to see the challenges and hopefully the successes of implementing comprehensive care. Just in the planning, this project has involved so many contributors–NGOs in the Philippines, global organizations like the Partners in Health community, USAID, the national Ministry of Health in the Philippines, and regional health authorities as well. There are a lot of partners here, but they’ve been working together extremely well over the last few months to plan for this project, which will start more or less immediately thanks to their incredibly hard work.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) announced today that it has ceased operations of its rescue vessel, Geo Barents, which had been operational since June 2021. MSF is suspending all search and rescue efforts until further notice, with the intention of restarting again next year with a new ship. Italian laws and policies have made it impossible to continue with the current operational model. MSF will begin the process of evaluating different operational models to respond to the needs of migrants in this challenging environment. MSF reaffirms its solid commitment to people on the move, especially those taking the dangerous journey across the Central Mediterranean Sea, a route where over 31,000 people have died or gone missing since 2014. “MSF will be back as soon as possible to conduct search and rescue operations on one of the deadliest migration routes in the world,” said Juan Matias Gil, MSF search and rescue representative. “We will come back to bear witness and speak out against the violations committed against people on the move by EU members states, particularly by Italy, and the other actors in the area.” (...) In the past two years, Geo Barents faced four sanctions by the Italian authorities, imposing a total of 160 days of detention in port. These punitive measures came under the Piantedosi Decree, a law that was introduced by the Italian government in the beginning of 2023 that limits the operations of non-governmental (NGO) rescue ships in the Mediterranean Sea and undermines the maritime historical humanitarian and legal duty to save lives at sea. This month, Italy further intensified the sanctions by making it easier and faster to confiscate humanitarian search and rescue vessels.

Berlin, Germany – A Palestinian employee of Germany’s state-funded development agency has been imprisoned in Israel for more than a month, where she has been beaten and subject to abusive and humiliating treatment, her family members and lawyer say.
Baraa Odeh, 34, works for the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), and was detained by Israeli border guards on March 5 while returning to her home in Ramallah from a work trip to Germany.
She has since been sentenced to three months of administrative detention without charge.
Neither her husband, who is a German national, nor her family have had direct contact with Odeh since her arrest.
“Our life is upside down,” her sister Shireen Odeh told Al Jazeera, adding that her family is extremely concerned for her wellbeing.
“The only thing we do is think about her. We haven’t had a normal life since they arrested her.”
Mahmoud Hassan, a lawyer for Odeh who has spoken to her in prison, said she has been physically assaulted and subject to inhumane conditions.
“When she arrived [at Hasharon] prison, she was strip-searched while the policewoman was shouting at her. She was kept in a cell and later, a policeman that also shouted at her beat her on her leg,” said Hassan, who works with Addameer Prisoner Support, an NGO that supports Palestinian prisoners.
“The policeman pushed her to the corner and the keys he had injured her hand. He kicked her. She said she had marks on her chest. He was threatening to keep her in this cell overnight.
“After a couple of hours, he took her to another room that was not clean and was very cold.”
The second room had security cameras. The toilet was so dirty that Odeh refused to use it. She was then transferred to the overcrowded Damon prison and strip-searched again.
According to reports, detainees at the site have said it is difficult to access medical care or clean clothes. Guards have allegedly blindfolded and handcuffed prisoners when they are moved, and prevented them from sleeping.
Israel has regularly detained and imprisoned workers for Palestinian aid organisations, and sometimes UNRWA, but it is unusual for the Israeli army to hold an employee of a Western organisation such as the GIZ under administrative detention.
Since October 7, when the Israel-Palestine conflict escalated, Israel has sharply increased the arrest of Palestinians in the West Bank. Most have been held under administrative detention, without being charged or given due process. Administrative detention orders are often extended, sometimes for years.
Prisoner rights groups and released detainees have raised the alarm on Israel’s systematic use of torture in its prisons, especially in recent months.
Israel has arrested 8,425 Palestinians, including about 280 women and 540 children, in the West Bank and East Jerusalem between October 7 and April 22, according to Addameer. Some 5,210 administrative detention orders have been issued during the same period, while 16 prisoners have died in Israeli prisons.
Meanwhile, Israel has prevented the Red Cross from making humanitarian visits to prison detainees since October 7.

One thing I think that is so insidious about the Pro-Israel narrative is that they don't even want you donating to the Palestinian cause to provide things like food or medical care for children. There is a concerted hasbara campaign to associate any NGO that provides any aid to palestinians with terrorism.
For example, if you attempt to raise money for the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund, a charity rated 4 stars by Charity Navigator, you may be linked to a page on a website called NGO Monitor. At first glance, this appears to be a neutral charity rating website similar to Charity Navigator. It's not.
Try searching any charity with no connection to the Israel-Palestine conflict on NGO Monitor, and you'll get no result.
Do a little digging, and you'll find out that NGO Monitor was founded by Gerald Steinberg, a Likud party member and former Israeli Security Council consultant. It is essentially a right-wing Israeli front posing as a legitimate charity watchdog while spreading misinformation.
Or consider this racist parody song from Israel's version of SNL. It depicts a hjiab donning woman crying and begging for money in front of an image of shelled out buildings presumably in Gaza. It then cuts away to reveal it is all a set, and her crying is acting, alluding to the Pallywood conspiracy theory. This is followed by caricatures of Hamas members swimming in riches in a luxurious hotel room in Qatar chanting "dollar bills, dollar bills" as donations pile up. The implication is clear; if you give money to Palestine, you are giving money to Hamas. The fact that this video is in English tells you who the intended audience is. It was posted on instagram by Noa Tishby, a former Israeli spokesperson.
This all reflects the true cruelty of the Israeli regime. They don't just want to harm the Palestinians; they don't want you to help them.

meet my brother, a sea rescuer for the DGzRS, who spent his day today showing people the ropes of rescuing lifes. why? because it's the sunday after world drowing prevention day (july 25) - which means it's maritime rescue day!
every year, thousands of people need to be rescued from distress at sea. maritime search and rescue ensures the safe returns of everyone who has an emergency on the water, big or small. and today we celebrate that!
despite their important job, many SAR organizations are financed by donations - if you live in a coastal state, i encourage you to consider donating today.
this week is also an important time to remember that saving lives at sea is an obligation not a crime. every day, people continue to drown in the mediterranean in preventable shipwrecks because of the inhumane policies of the european union.
in celebration of world drowing prevention day, i strongly encourage you to donate to the NGOs who save countless lives every week while the EU refuses to fulfill its humanitarian obligations:
#search and rescue#signal boost#there is a saying in SAR which goes; who rescues is right#important to remember in times like these!
