Bring Me The Horizon – Amo
There was a period from 2018 to 2021 that I didn’t write about music, or review anything at all, but that was due to a few factors. You could say that it was the pandemic, but in 2018, I just lost the passion for writing. I was so burnt out on writing about music, because I was listening to so much, and writing the same thing for a lot of what I heard, I got burnt out and had to step back. I stepped back from writing and listening to new music, at least for the most part, but I also ended up moving states, as well as trying to live through the pandemic in 2020, so there’s that. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t listening to new music, because I still listened to stuff, but I didn’t review it or properly talk about it. One of those albums that I loved when it came out, but never wrote about was Bring Me The Horizon’s 2019 album, Amo. I did talk about their latest album, last year’s Next Gen, when it came out, but I never talked about Amo when it originally dropped. That’s a crime, because I would say that Amo is my favorite Bring Me The Horizon album, and it’s the only album of theirs that I really love. I like a lot of their other stuff, too, but I was obsessed with Amo when it dropped in 2019. I just picked it up on vinyl at my local Half Price Books, because someone dropped off their metalcore and post-hardcore collection. I saw albums from Issues, The Word Alive, and Wage War, but among them was Amo, and I was mainly excited about that one. I’m in the mood for new music, but I also want stuff that’s insanely catchy, fun, and energetic, which this album fits all those bills. I thought it would be fun to reexamine this album after six years, and see how it holds up today, especially with Next Gen coming out last year.
I thought Next Gen was fine, but it was a bit too bloated and overambitious for its own good. Amo, on the other hand, certainly has some of those same issues, but it’s easier to digest. This record is still kind of long, clocking in at 52 minutes, and it does get a bit bloated by the end, but the album isn’t as overwhelming like Next Gen with how much they throw at you. Instead of changing genres in the middle of a song, the band let each song speak for themselves within a certain style. A lot of people were put off when the band dropped some of the lead singles of this album, such as “Mantra,” “Medicine,” and “Sugar Honey Ice & Tea,” which have huge pop hooks, but also have solid rock and metal riffs to accompany them. These are some of the catchiest songs I’ve heard in the last decade or so, but I still just love this whole album. Next Gen experimented with a lot of different sounds, such as hyperpop, pop, metalcore, alt-metal, and nu-metal, but Amo was more so in the vein of pop, electronic, hard-rock, and metal. These genre switches aren’t as sporadic, either, so the album flows a bit better and feels less overwhelming. Songs like “Wonderful Life” and “Heavy Metal” are a bit heavier, but they don’t stray too far from the formula, and they still flow pretty well. I love when the album goes into full blown electronica, too, such as “Nihilist Blues” with Grimes, or the interlude “Ouch” (but I wish that song was way longer), but that leads me to the real stars of the album – the production itself and vocalist Oli Sykes.
Say what you will about the band’s early material, and there are a lot of people that don’t like it, because they started off as a deathcore band on their first couple of albums, and they eventually moved to pioneer the Octanecore sound that’s huge today with Sempiternal and That’s The Spirit (although the latter went into alt-metal and nu-metal directions, but even so), but Oli Sykes has only gotten better with each record. Bring Me The Horizon has gone from one of heavy music’s most hated and most ridiculed bands to one of the most popular, but it’s because they took risks and they were at the forefront of innovation within their respective genre. Amo is that next step they needed before Next Gen (they did drop that EP in 2020, I believe, and that was a pretty fun little record), because you can really see the seeds being planted for that record. They go all in with the hyperpop and electronic influences on that album, but this album tests the waters for it, but I prefer this one, frankly. Sykes provides some of his best vocal hooks here, and some of these songs are absolutely addicting. The production on this thing is top notch, too, and that’s one thing about the band I’ve always liked, especially on later albums, but it’s just so good. Everything on this album comes together to make for a wonderful experience, and while the album is a bit bloated in spots, it never feels disjointed or out of place. I wouldn’t change anything here, but this album still holds up all these years later. It’s still the one album from them I love, because everything comes together in just the right way for me, but they’ve got a lot of really solid albums under their belt. If you haven’t heard it in a long while, or even at all, I’d totally recommend this. Truthfully, I think the new albums from Underoath and Spiritbox owe a bit to this album, even if it’s not directly, because you can hear bits and pieces of this album there.

Album art opinions:
The digital release of this album features a white umbrella with four raindrops on a black background, while the physical releases feature the albums title in black on a black background, while the inner parts of the physical release are very colorful, meaning to show that you have to look for the color/happiness even in the darkest of times. The umbrella on the digital release has a similar meaning: when it's raining get out your umbrella and carry on.
Color: 4/10
Recognizability: 7/10
Vibes: 9/10
Total: 7/10
Music opinions/notes:
This album is nothing short of anthemic. Jordan took his production style from the previous record and improving on it and giving each song its own identity. The use of string sections, 808s and other pop sounds, and even using Oli's voice as a synthesizer really brings the songs alive. Oli was still learning how to sing during the recording process of this and Sempiternal, but every song on this album is a lot more focused on clean singing. While the instrumentals are a bit more basic this time around, they still serve the songs greatly.
Mix: 10/10
Lyrics: 9/10
Instruments: 7/10
Vibes: 8/10
Total: 8/10
Total Score: 8/10

BUFFY: (softly) Mom, what did they find? JOYCE: A shadow. I've got a shadow. (looks at the images on the wall) Somewhere ... over there ... he showed it to me, but, um ... they have to do a biopsy to find out exactly what it is. Buffy looks upset. They hug. JOYCE: (voice breaking) Doctor says it's too early to be concerned. BUFFY: Right. (pulls back to look Joyce in the face) No concern. JOYCE: Just a shadow.

Bring Me The Horizon - That’s The Spirit (Review)
Bring Me The Horizon’s 2015 hit That’s The Spirit is a masterclass in atmosphere and cohesion. The consistently muddied instrumentation cut through with perfect clarity in the vocals provides an unmatched sense of immersion, in an alien quality present for the entire album. Bring Me The Horizon is at their commercial peak on That’s The Spirit, and for good reason. The record was self-produced by keyboardist Jordan Fish, (what an excellent name) considering an external producer unnecessary.
While a lot of unconventional decisions were made in the production process, the critical reception was met with universal acclaim, citing That’s The Spirit as their most conventionally appealing album. Having moved away from their direct metalcore roots, That’s The Spirit leans more into alternative rock, with great success.
Track-by-track below the cut.
TRACK 1 - DOOMED
The record opens with a track that perfectly sets the stage for the rest of the album. The cold and deep sound immediately makes its presence known, providing a sense of isolation that will stay present for the rest of the album. Doomed arguably sounds overproduced, with a heavy filtering present on just about everything. I don’t consider this a negative, though; the album was made with the concept of our darkest moods in mind, but in a context making light of them. The pushy production carries a disorienting atmosphere, and stops you from feeling quite too close to the vocals.
This is an opening track done right, functioning almost as a macrocosm of the record as a whole. All of the elements heard here will be expanded on in later songs. 7/10.
TRACK 2 - HAPPY SONG
This is the closest thing That’s The Spirit has to a title track, with the album title being repeated as a lyric over and over. We leave the murky comfort of Doomed behind, to an instant rolling nu metal riff. This is where the themes of making light out of our darkness are most visible; the lyrics and sound are distinctly moody, but the sampled cheering and the title itself contrast it in a sick sense. Oli Sykes’ vocals are firing on all cylinders here, with a wide dynamic range of nu metal fry and gorgeous clarity. The chorus is ethereal, and the verses are all intimate and up-close, through the haze of the production.
Every moving part in Happy Song just works. The use of children’s voices are perfect for the bleak sarcasm the track champions. 10/10, There’s gonna be a lot of those.
TRACK 3 - THRONE
Throne is the most familiar track on the album to previous fans. The atmosphere and vocal techniques are reminiscent of their previous album, Sempiternal, but with a distinctly That’s The Spirit aspect to their production. The lyrics are powerful and motivating, second only to the way they’re delivered. If this song resonates with you, it resonates hard. The synth lines prop up Sykes’ performance, and the choice of making the bassline only occasionally present really heightens the feeling of rising from the ashes. The verses are somewhat subdued, with only the drums and keyboard being noticeable; but as soon as the pre-chorus steps up, bassist Matt Kean absolutely drowns the track in a wave of sound that feels triumphant and swelling. I believe every lyric of Throne, in no small part due to how powerful the production feels.
I can only say “this is atmosphere done right” so many times. 10/10.
TRACK 4 - TRUE FRIENDS
The choice to open the song with the isolated motif from the chorus is inspired, and serves to amplify every other aspect of the song when it comes in after. The delivery sets up an expectation for angry, crashing vocals, which makes the soft tone on the first verse a pleasant subversion. By this point on the record, though, we should know that won’t last very long. The sound storms in with every intention to make itself known, with a classical influence in the primary instrumental motif. The title line of “true friends stab you in the front” is poignant and even a little amusing, once again carrying the bleak comedy theme of the album. The instrumental cuts out occasionally to emphasize the chorus, and it’s an excellent effect. The breakdown near the end of the second minute is a highlight.
It’s crazy how on any other album all of these songs would be a ten. 8/10.
TRACK 5 - FOLLOW YOU
The more heavy-handed production is at its most noticeable in Follow You, with several elements in the mix that are immediately “not an instrument” sounds. I have nothing but praise for the vocals across the entire album, but this might be one of their best. The layering and tuning feels intimate and personal, but not enough that the alt-rock shouting feels startling or out of place. Much like in Doomed, we get another look at his higher vocal register and how perfectly it fits the alternative rock nu metal fusion of That’s The Spirit. I wouldn’t leave this song to anybody else. The instrumentals all across the record are stellar, but the vocals are in a league of their own.
The lyrics are really cute, too. 9/10.
TRACK 6 - WHAT YOU NEED
I’ve been waiting for this one ever since I started my review. It’s not the star of the album, but man is it fun. The bassline is infectious, the vocals are catchy, and the lead guitar follows them both perfectly. The punchy delivery on the verses has a gnarly contrast with the strong projection in the chorus, and the one-man choir within. In any other song, the verses would be an incredibly strong highlight, but unfortunately one part of this track overshadows every other (masterfully done) aspect. The bridge in What You Need is my second favourite section on the entire album, dwarfed only by a passage two songs from now. The “Hell Yeah” refrain is perfect, and the solo following it is overwhelmingly cool.
Pure adrenaline in here, I wouldn’t want it any other way. 10/10.
TRACK 7 - AVALANCHE
Avalanche is the closest That’s The Spirit comes to an honest confrontation of its themes. There’s no attempt at black comedy, no shred of resigned sarcasm. The screaming vocals feel less powerful, and more desperate. This is the bleakest track on the record, and I’m glad it’s here to balance out the themes. The lyrics are on the repetitive side, which takes away a little from the ranking, but this song needed to be on the album somewhere. The instrumental is still as strong as ever, and despite its serious tone the song doesn’t feel like a downer.
There’s not too much to say on here. The fade-out at the end is a highlight for sure. 7/10
TRACK 8 - RUN
Remember when I said the What You Need bridge is second only to one passage two songs from it? The intro to Run is atmosphere perfected, with “ten thousand voices fill my broken lungs” being one of my favourite lyrics ever put to song. Run is all-encompassing, enveloping, just short of drowning. The sound is full and complete, almost an amalgamation of every individual note as one seething mass. The production is stellar, the composition is stellar, the vocal delivery is stellar. The song is an ode to the desire for teenagers to run away and make their own place in life, with undertones that might point to a darker interpretation.
Highlight of the album. 10/10.
TRACK 9 - DROWN
Again, a masterfully presented intro. The overproduced sound of what seems to be a chanting crowd feels almost eerie and unnatural, but not in an uncomfortable way. Drown exemplifies the sense of isolation and intimacy That’s The Spirit has been balancing all along, and it does so seamlessly. Like Avalanche, Drown feels like an honest confession and a cry for help, free of any sarcasm or humour. The lyrics detail a desire to keep going, but not the energy to make that plausible. “Who will make me fight? [...] You know that I can’t do this on my own." The bridge ends with the same massive crowd the intro opens with, but the final vocals from Oli Sykes are isolated and vulnerable.
Gorgeous production. 10/10
TRACK 10 - BLASPHEMY
This is the most explicit rock on the album. There’s not much in the way of hazy production or vulnerable, quiet vocals. Blasphemy shrugs off the precedent of the record in favour of a massive arena rock sound, easily the most commercial song on the record, with catchy hooks and a simple throughline riff. I don’t think this is a bad thing, though. The short but soaring solo at the end of the second minute is a highlight, and the sound only keeps ramping up with a stomping hook as soon as it moves out of the way. The delivery on this track is spitting and spiteful, and a breath of fresh air if you don’t like the murky sound on the rest of the album
There’s a time and a place for subversion, and I think near the end was a great place to put this. 9/10.
TRACK 11 - OH NO
This is such a perfect closing track. Completely stepping away from the sounds we’ve been acquainted with so far, Oh No has a thrumming synthetic beat in the back of the sound that makes it feel like a party jam. Once again, choral chanting is used in the mix, and it makes Oh No feel epic in scale. The infectious pop hooks and commercially appealing lyrics make the track feel like a true send-off to That’s The Spirit, not a goodbye so much as a celebration that it happened. The song is fundamentally upbeat pop, but the lyrics are still somber and sentimental. This feels very 2015.
...sorry, was that just a saxophone solo? This was going to be a 9, but I guess i can spare another 10/10.
RETROSPECTIVE
Ranking That’s The Spirit was always going to be intrinsically difficult for me, because of how many songs on it I consider to be near-perfect. If you dropped the lowest ranking in here into the middle of most other albums, it would probably get a nine at the lowest. The vocals are a standout performance all the way through, but they never feel like they’re overshadowing the intricate composition behind them. Every song feels deliberately placed to create the most cohesive experience you can get.
Overall, this is one of my 10/10s.

I haven’t seen any but Vinny is hilarious with his attitude on Twitter lately. Been wanting to start a Vinny blog for his moments. 😂 He’s also been a little unhinged on his streams. Love him though.
Also please god no, I do not want Jordan on a BO album production. Sempiternal was incredible and don’t get me wrong PH1 is my fave album ever ever ever. But what Noah and Jolly have is special and o would hate him to ruin that.

Album Review
Bring Me the Horizon-
POST HUMAN:NeX GEn

The wait is finally over! After 4 years of knowing it was coming, Bring Me is finally back, once again reinvigorating metal with a fresh blend of genres and production.
Disclaimer: for the most part, this is a first impressions review. I have listened through its entirety once and have gone back few a few tracks, but regardless, fresh thoughts.
Bring Me the Horizon have always been at the forefront of innovation at metal, ever since at least Sempiternal, they have consistently introduced more and more sounds to create their own sound and help inspire all other bands in the genre.
With Post Human:NeX GEn, the albums title is quite appropriate as we are once again seeing the next generation of sound for the band. This time with a much more hyper pop focused influence, with a classic and modern Emo touch. And this sound is such a clash of nostalgia and progression and it just blends so well.
Now, there are two concessions I will have to give the album, firstly the wait, and secondly the departure of Jordan from the band.
We have known this album was coming ever since Bring Me teased the Post Human series in 2020. Originally a plan for 4 eps across 1-2 years, plans have obviously changed. This I have no problem with. Oli and the rest of the band come across as perfectionists. Preferring to put out a work they can be proud of instead of a half finished work. This is understandable. Now I will say, since they dropped sTraNgeRs all the way back in July 2022(?!?!? That long?) the wait has been agonizing. They have kept the hype up though, slowly dropping a total of 5 singles for the album and, at least personally I can say the hype was properly kept.
Now for the second point, the departure of Jordan Fish. Jordan has become such as staple of the band since his introduction on Sempiternal, that this new era for the band is a little saddened. Jordan helped to reinvigorate the bands sound and made Bring Me the forefront band for metalcores future as a genre. Jordan is still on the credits for all of the singles before his departure, but my gut says he still had a hand in at least a majority of this album. And for this to be his last work with the band, I feel it’s a great send off. Jordan is a legend, and this last bit for Bring Me has solidified that.
Alright, now back to the actual album. The album hits 16 tracks, 3 of which being interludes, and 5 being singles we’ve already heard. Still, 11 brand new tracks to enjoy is a lot more than I expected. With the now popularized waterfall method of dropping half an album before release, it’s always refreshing to see a band leave plenty in store for the albums actual release.
This album has to be the best blend of genres the band has attempted. A great fucking balance of the newer hyper pop sound, plenty of great riffs, solos, and breakdowns, and Oli bouncing between poppy vocals all the way to deathcore screams, just overall a great blend. The sound stays consistently intriguing and helps keep attention.
And just two side notes to that, Bring Mes ability to write huge stadium choruses is just amazing. Almost every song has a great catchy chorus and plenty of, what I predict to be, new tour staples on this record. Second to that, I believe Nik Nocturnal mentioned this in regards to Oli and Sam from Architects, but the freedom to throw screams whenever and not feel stapled to a certain style is great to see in the scene. Oli can turn a hyper pop vibe to a deathcore breakdown in an instant.
Onto the features, this is such a great cast of stars on this record. The Underoath feature on a bullet w- my namE On felt like a match made in heaven for any fellow core kids who love both bands. The Aurora feature was such a great surprise on liMOusine and for her to be on a bit of a heavier track was interesting(especially with how much she added to it). And lastly the one we knew, AmEN! Was such a great blend of artists and comes together as still possibly my favorite track on the album, other than….
The album closer Dig It is fucking perfect. Plenty of atmosphere that helps tie in the story of this album, the track turns into a somber yet epic ending. Putting a staple on this new blend of genres the band has perfected, the way the song progressively gets grander, breaking out into a death/metalcore grandiose breakdown, and the eventual soft and gentle return, this album closer is the bow on the gift of this record.
I could, and may, go on more later, but I’ll leave at this for now. As this is just first impressions, I’m going to give it a
9.5/10
As a little wiggle room for this album to grow even more on me. But gut reaction, this is Bring Me’s best work.

In the year 2424, the world was not as we knew it. The boundaries between human and machine had blurred so seamlessly that one could hardly tell where flesh ended and circuits began. She was a product of this age, an embodiment of human ingenuity and artificial precision, named Aelita.
Aelita was not born; she was created, a masterpiece of cybernetics, with irises that could scan the galaxy and a mind wired to understand the language of the cosmos.
Her creators, the secretive yet celebrated Order of the Sempiternal, had a mission: to unlock the mysteries that lay beyond the reaches of human understanding. To this end, they had harnessed the mind of a historical figure, Nedeljko Čabrinović, a man from the distant past whose fervent idealism and intelligence had been resurrected within Aelita's electronic consciousness. The Order believed that the blending of Čabrinović's revolutionary spirit with Aelita's advanced capabilities could lead to a new era of exploration and understanding.
Nedeljko's persona was chosen for his notorious role in the events that led to the Great War of the 20th century—an instigator of change, albeit through violent means. The Order hypothesized that his disruptive nature could challenge the status quo, leading to breakthroughs in space exploration and possibly even contact with extraterrestrial intelligence. Aelita, equipped with Nedeljko's consciousness, was their experiment in creating an agent of change not constrained by the limits of human frailty.
Her skin was a lattice of bio-synthetics, a shimmering canvas that could heal and adapt to any environment. Aelita's hair, fine strands of metallic threads, reflected light with the faintest touch of gold, a symbolic nod to the revolutionary’s fiery spirit which now simmered within her circuits.
The Order's headquarters, a space station orbiting Earth named the Čabrinović Enclave, was where Aelita called home. It was from here that she would embark on her mission to traverse the universe, to reach the places that were once mere points of light in the Earth's night sky.
As Aelita prepared for her first mission to the edge of the solar system, the Order's elders spoke of "The Event Horizon," a point in space where the known laws of physics ceased to exist. They believed that beyond this point lay answers to humanity's oldest questions—were they alone, what was the universe made of, and most importantly, what was humanity’s place within the cosmic tapestry.
Her ship, the N.C. Revolution, named in honor of Nedeljko Čabrinović, was ready. As she stepped aboard, her sensors activated, interfacing seamlessly with the ship’s controls. She felt a surge of Nedeljko’s rebellious energy flow through her. With a silent command, the engines ignited, and the ship slipped from the enclave's moorings, gliding into the darkness of space.
Aelita, part human, part machine, and part something entirely new, became a lone sentinel on the frontier of the unknown. She was an explorer, a revolutionary, and to many, a beacon of the future. But to the universe, she was a question in search of an answer.
And so, she journeyed on, into the vast unknown, carrying with her the legacy of a revolutionary from the past and the hopes of humanity's future. What she would find out there, amidst the stars and the silence, would perhaps redefine the very concept of life and existence. For Aelita was more than a machine, and more than human—she was the herald of a new chapter in the saga of the cosmos.

▬▬ι═══════ﺤ 🔥 || Everyone he knows are so hard on themselves. They do not know how to take a moment, sit back, marvel at their life; at the grief that softened them, at the heartache that made them wiser, at the suffering that strengthened them. Hanzo Hasashi is so used to coming back to his personal quarters, make some aromatic tea, sit down in his armchair and let himself be basked in the unperturbed silence, albeit it would soon constitute as sempiternal loneliness. With all the dull ache that would reverberate in his chest and incessant thoughts crawling under his skin, he would sit in front of his humble desk, his concentration tunnel-vision, until all the scars and curves, dips and bumps of him would sink into a shallow slumber atop the cushioned tatami until the burning radiance of the dawn would rouse him up.
What kind of insanity compels both of them to embrace another in the synchronicity of their flaws, unlock their insides to all manners of exposure. Grandmaster Hasashi might as well diagnose himself to be both overworked and full of guilt; with his visage as the ultimate violation, naked vulnerability, and defenseless openness to having the worst and darkest parts of himself pointed out and probed by the realms known. With all his coldest fears loaded into cannons ready for explosion in such a way that once his heart is decimated, reconstruction would become impossible, all for infinitesimally distinct possibility of achieving ultimate joy for ephemerally short human life of his would be so unspeakably futile. With all the heaviness conglomerated into his life, he draws a conclusion. Both his life and death had and will continue to have value and true purpose, despite him having thought otherwise as Scorpion.
Unmovable and unperturbed, Hanzo still sits in a zazen position; a sitting meditative pose he has adopted for such a long time that it has become his natural habit. "And the most devastating part of it all, will be that you will not able to satiate every person involved in diplomacy of realms," Hanzo may have felt a wider range of emotions - more sabotaging and destructive than productive - if such sentiments weren't so intimately personal. Guilt and conscience become too much of a burden, particularly in this given stretch of time where the very equilibrium of life's balance hovers precariously over the precipice of death and absolute annihilation. Shifting himself to face Wanda directly, Hanzo's own hand reciprocates the extension, meeting hers in halfway. "I have hands that have bled and have stopped the bleeding of others. Hands that have mercilessly burned, scorched and suffocated lives of the innocent and sought hearth-fire warmth in the lives of nearly perished. My hands have both loved and hated, and committed every act I have taken in life. And I sometimes wonder which action destroyed me the most."
Grandmaster Hasashi is merely trying to seek absolution from all the sins he ran away from, which are finally catching up to him in this timeline. "I assure you, I have the same embedded guilt that keeps my ribs weak and frail, as they endure stomach-churning sorrows. That very sort of guilt that leaves your throat in knots, leaving you unable to swallow down your own facades," solemn and earnest, Hanzo's expression encompasses all the doomed story, with him as the protagonist of the tragic tale which mirrors that of hers. "However ironic this may sound, this profound sadness that lives in both of our bones will never be ameliorated through exhausting our reserve strength and power. The plights of our souls may render us weary, but we must let currents of time run its course without our desperate involvement." ▬▬ι═══════ﺤ 🔥 ||
@sasorikigai inquired: "My diagnosis is exhaustion, brought on from overwork and guilt." (Any verse)
Star Trek: The Original Series Sentences, Condensed ⤷ Accepting!
“Thank you, Doctor Hasashi.” Exhaustion had made her more snappy and brash than what she usually was. She sat up on the futon mattress, planting her hands down on the mattress to control the tremors that remained in her hands. She felt like a child being grounded by their parent, though Wanda failed to see what it was that she had done wrong. Sure, when she showed up to the Shirai Ryu compound she was exhausted, and her hands were pantomiming and violently trembling from repeatedly doing the motion for casting a teleportation spells. She couldn’t remember just how she ended up inside or in the futon mattress, but it was probably Hanzo who found her and brought her inside. She was terribly angry and irritated than what was necessary, and being fatigued didn’t help either. Wanda shook her head, now a bit ashamed for throwing that sarcastic comment at Hanzo.
She would want nothing more than to curl up underneath the blanket and sleep like Hanzo had suggested. No, there was still too much work that needed to be done. Wanda argued with herself, casting aside the notion to rest, she will rest when she’s dead. There was too much happening within Earthrealm and the threats of Outworld as well. “I can’t just rest, I have places to be and people to see. I’m completely booked until mid-March!” She protested stubbornly, but she and the case she presented were growing weaker. Her work as a self-appointed supernatural consultant made her life busy with appointments and contracts from all around the world. She had her hands full of so many appointments to assist those who needed the Scarlet Witch.Wanda used both hands to push herself off the bed, but only succeeded in being in a crouching position. She had gotten dizzy as she attempted to stand. “Fine! Fine, I’ll rest! Happy now?” She shouted as she fell backwards into the mattress and pillow. Wanda turned to lay on her side so that her back was to Hanzo while pulling the blanket over her head.
As much as she wanted to get back to work, Wanda knew Hanzo probably confiscated her cell phone and planner. Her mind was so foggy from exhaustion that she couldn't even remember where her next appointment was. After a long, pregnant silence, Wanda sighed, turned around to lay on her side to face Hanzo. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't be acting this way when you've been nothing but kind and trying to help me." Wanda pulled the blanket over her head with one hand, she extended her other out towards Hanzo on the tatami floor. "You're right, you know. About the guilt part? I'm running around all over Earthrealm to different places and countries. I guess the guilt part is me trying to save others to make up for my failure to save my family. I want to save as many people as I can, that way they don't have to feel the same pain I felt." Wanda closed her eyes, as she did, a single blood tear escaped from her closed eyelids.

Album Review: Brutality - Sempiternity (Emanzipation Productions)
A mix of what and who Brutality was and are now. New tracks, old tracks (given a makeover) and live tracks!
Being a band with a well-documented turbulent career, Brutality managed to have a fine body of discography work in their on-and-off career. Four studio albums that put them among the best death metal bands that the Tampa scene, in Florida, has exported to the world. When Brutality announced, in October 2020, the band would be splitting up, the whole world was left stranded – once again – except…
