BROKEN SOUVENIRS, BROKEN HEARTS

I bought these two stone souvenirs from Boracay, carved into art with the name 'Boracay' on them. I took a picture with them before putting them on display in the cabinet.

Earlier this afternoon, accidentally knocked this over and it broke into pieces. 🥺🥺🥺I tried to fix it with glue, and while I managed to put it back together, the crack is still visible.

This made me feel a bit sad because I tend to get sentimental about things, no matter how much they cost. ☹️

Then it suddenly dawned on me: just like this broken stone, a broken relationship is never quite the same, even if you manage to fix it. The crack will always be there. 😕😕😕
