Die Unterstützung durch den Kleinen ist vielleicht gar nicht so groß, aber die Aufmerksamkeit, die er erzeugt, ist bemerkenswert

Es gibt einen Anlass und wir sind in diesem mongolischen Restaurant in Hamburg essen. Das Buffet ist wirklich sehr toll: Wir können aus einer großen Auswahl frischer Sachen auswählen, Ausgewähltes tun wir auf einen Teller und befestigen daran eine Klammer, auf der die Nummer des Tisches steht, an dem wir sitzen. Dann geben wir den Teller in der Küche ab.

Etwas später dürfen wir staunen: Es kommt ein Servierroboter selbständig an unseren Tisch gefahren.

Mein Stuhl steht etwas im Weg, ich muss etwas rutschen, damit er vorbeikommt und an die Stelle am Tisch fahren kann, an der er offenbar anhalten will. Der Roboter trägt Tabletts, auf denen er unser frisch zubereitetes Essen an unseren Tisch bringt. Er sagt etwas, so ungefähr: “Hier ist ihr Essen, bitte nehmen Sie Ihr Essen von den Tabletts, Guten Appetit” oder so ähnlich, aber zusammen mit dem Roboter kommt eine eifrige Mitarbeiterin des Restaurants, nimmt die Teller von den Tabletts und stellt sie uns hin. Wir bestaunen noch etwas den niedlichen Roboter mit seinen Kulleraugen und freuen uns über das hervorragende Essen.

Der Servierroboter dreht gelegentlich seine Runden, aber meist ist ein Mitarbeiter des Restaurants dabei; so ganz unbeaufsichtigt funktioniert das mit dem Kleinen offenbar noch nicht richtig gut. Aber die Aufmerksamkeit der Gäste ist ihm sicher.

Besondere Begeisterung löst es aus, als ein Gast offenbar Geburtstag hat: Der Servierroboter spielt “Happy Birthday” und bringt einen kleinen Kuchen mit einer Wunderkerze an einen Tisch. Alle Gästen zücken ihre Smartphones, um dieses Ereignis festzuhalten - ich bin leider etwas zu spät mit meinem Smartphone, daher nur das Foto ohne die brennende Wunderkerze. Hinter dem Roboter aber auch hier eine eifrige Servierunterstützung. Der Abgang des Roboters wird vom Applaus der Gäste begleitet.

Als ich zwischendurch auf dem Weg zur Toilette einmal dem Roboter auf seinem Weg begegne, sagt er in sehr freundlichem Tonfall zu mir: “Achtung, Bitte!”. Ich trete zur Seite, um ihn vorbei zu lassen (ich lasse - schwer beeindruckt - dem Roboter die Vorfahrt, warum eigentlich?). Anscheinend missinterpretiert der Roboter aber meinen raschen Schritt zur Seite, vielleicht habe ich ihm auch nicht genügend Platz gelassen, zumindest hält er an und dreht sich etwas und sagt: “Bitte entschuldigen Sie! Sind Sie in Ordnung? Ich hoffe, Sie sind ok?”
