Description: It's your first time in Monaco - you catch a certain DJ's eye. After a few days of getting to know each other, the nature of his career makes it clear that he isn't just a normal boy.

He fucking looks like one of the dudes you watched in HBO. The same cinnamon eyes - a light tinge of youth. There were headphones situated on his neck, and he skillfully made his way through the DJ booth - pumping a song that explained his personality perfectly.

"He's kind of a golden retriever lad." your classmate commented, staring at him - who was dancing on the stage. "He's giving - looks like a cinnamon roll and is a cinnamon roll." you chuckled while taking a sip of your drink. At a young age - you were made aware of other people's tendencies.

You could tell what their characters were - just by the vibes that they had - and by the gods, this DJ had awesome vibes. He reminded you of your family - who were probably sleeping back home. He looks like the type of guy who'd go around introducing himself. You liked that.

"The both of you make a perfect pair," your classmate added - and a small blush creeps towards your cheeks - engulfing your face with that pinkish hue - that you could hopefully pass off as the effects of alcohol. "But (Your Name) is different, because she's a cinnamon role that can kill you." your friend giggled while raising her glass.

"Guess who I'm going to kill first?" you rolled your eyes as she flashed her tongue. "You should speak to him," your classmate leaned. A groan escapes your mouth. "Guys, if he manages to take me away - no one is driving you home." you pointed out - maybe they'll stop trying to set you up with someone after this.

Your friend laughs.

"Monaco is a small city - we can walk home." she retorted. "- plus, all sacrifices are worthy if that guy can lift you off your feet." she added cheekily, finishing the contents of her glass.

They were insufferable at times.

"When you walk by every night, talking sweet and looking fine - I get kinda hectic inside." he sang this time - finally out of the DJ booth and into the dance floor. Your best friend strategically pushed you towards Lando - forcing you to stumble into his arms. "Ah, shit sorry." he apologized, catching you.

A gasp escapes your mouth - a little hurt by almost falling.

"Nah, it's totally my fault." you fixed your hair, slowly moving out of his arms with reluctance. He smelled like baby powder - the ones that smelled like jasmine kind. His chest was soft - like he took a bath in hyaluronic acid. "Well, my name's Lando - and you are?" he offered his hand to shake.

You attempted to look behind you - but your friends already retreated back to the table. "(Your Name)," you responded with a thin lipped smile. I mean - charms were basically useless in front of a man who was exactly your type. "That's a cute name." he smiled, shaking your hand but not letting go of it - instead he pulls you towards a more secluded part of the dance floor.

"Thank you for being considerate. If there's anything that I can do for you - just tell me." you thanked and he grabbed a shirt to cover his body. Okay ... maybe he got a little drunk last night.

"It's nothing, but we'll keep in touch, right?" he smiled and you nodded. "Of course, you're like the coolest guy in Monaco." you scoffed while pulling out your instagram. "I'll add you on insta." you mumbled while typing Lando on the search bar.

Phew! What an episode!! Many, many, major spoilers below for The Boys S3 E6, Herogasm.

Okay... where to start with this episode. Let's start with the title event - Herogasm. How depraved do I sound if I say, it wasn't actually that depraved? Lol! I think I was just expecting something crazier? Is that crazy?! Lol!! Maybe I've simply read and written too much smut? 😂

But no, it was just her, which should have made her feel like a badass and an ACTUAL fucking hero, not a fake one like the SUPES. She came through. She saved them all!! So when she said to Frenchie that it just proved she was the monster, it made me wanna cry!! 🥺

Ugh, I just love them so much and I want them both to be safe so badly!! 😩😩

So now, MM and Annie. So...I feel like this is gonna be a really unpopular opinion, but, I think they're wrong. Let me explain.

The scene where MM was telling Annie about what happened to his family...his Grandpa - tears - so many tears! (Laz acted the shit out of that scene, btw!)

And I completely understand how that would trigger his OCD and a fucking lifetime of trauma. But I don't think killing SB is actually going to change any of that. When has revenge EVER given someone lasting peace. I think he has to deal with the trauma, and it sure would be great if SB would stop acting like a machismo, uncaring dick when MM confronts him about killing his family.

When MM was like, "You killed my family."

And SB was like, "Which one?"

I was like, "Fuck Soldier Boy!! You are an asshole!"

But wtf was MM thinking trying to go after him? The halothane was a dumb enough move, but then when it obviously no longer worked against him (maybe that's why SB was in the big chamber in Russia? Grew an immunity to the halothane?) MM goes after him with just his fists? 😲😲😲 And then later, just before Starlight stops him, he was cocking his gun to go after him. Like, really MM, a gun?!

And I get where both Annie and MM are coming from, but I don't think their solution is it, at least not on its own. I think they're gonna need a combination of MM and Annie's plan, along with Hughie and Butcher's plan.

Because to my mind, there's no doubt whatsoever that they're going to need more strength and firepower to defeat Homelander than just Starlight and Maeve (if she's even still alive! 😩😬)

So, I completely get Butcher and Hughie's reasoning (although it makes me very sad that Hughie's reasoning is also partly set in that toxic masculinity BS that little boys grow up with.)

Anyway, I just think that they'll need a SUPED-up Hughie and Butcher, maybe a temporarily Suped -up Kimiko, Starlight, Maeve, and maybe one or two more "decent supes", maybe Neuman, DEFINITELY Soldier Boy to have a shot at bringing down Homelander. Doesn't mean there aren't going to be problems there, doesn't mean it's a perfect plan, but they've gotta pull together to kill that SOB.

Anyway, I'm so sorry I've rambled on for SO long - but this episode was INCREDIBLE!!

I'll end with Soldier Boy. So, I still haven't changed my position on him. Hearing what he did to MM's family is completely horrifying, and he definitely deserved to be brought to justice for that kind of reckless disregard for civilians lives.

But to my mind, he's served that time. Nearly 40 years of torture? I feel like that's his debt paid. I know it doesn't fix MM, but as I said above, I think MMs help lies elsewhere. But a sincere and real apology (like A-Train gave Hughie before he...died?!! 😬😳😲) might go a long way to helping. Not holding my breath for that though.

Because, as we saw in this episode, that Toxic Masculinity BS is strong and pervasive in SB too, probably much more so than Hughie. He was born and raised in it. He won't even admit that he's experiencing major PTSD, probably because he thinks it's weak.

Both SB and Hughie's storylines this season have actually given me a wider appreciation for just how unbelievably damaging TM is, not just to feminism, not just to society as a whole, but to EVERY boy who's raised believing this absolute bullshit, and to every grown man who can't admit he has any emotions. It honestly breaks my heart.

So, when it comes to SB, I feel like I'm not sure he could ever uproot that horrible toxicity. I mean, I SERIOUSLY hope so, but it may be impossible.

But, for me, all of that, including the fact that he doesn't even remember what happens when he goes nuclear, it makes him more of a sympathetic character.

I still really wanna know what he did to his team to make them hate him so much? Did they just feel like he was out of control and too powerful to deal with? Or did he actually do something heinous that they wanted him gone for.

I'm so curious for more!!

Oh and, P.S. - the fight between Homelander, SB, Butcher, and Hughie was epic on another level!! I watched it 3 times in a row. I LOVE that they ACTUALLY scared Homelander enough that he flew away like the true coward he is. I need so many more team ups!! But I need MM, Starlight, Maeve, and maybe Neuman to join in.

Definitely watch the remakes they are grittier and more gorey but I liked the cast more. I would watch the prequel first (The beginning made in 2006) and then the remake (2003)

Tonys sister is probably the person who spyed on Sonja in prison. Barry and Winston😭 Winston doesn’t want the apartment Barry is fixing for him. Tonys sister attacked a guy in a gym for posting shit about Ecovera? She fucking killed him!!! Wtf. Vera and Gerafi is talking about how the marked is safe with Sonja behind bars. (Don’t recall her name). Sonja is checked from head to toe. Lukas and Barry are dressed as ambulance workers. The pills Sonja has been given will put her shock and unconcious and possible heartstop. Tony’s sister is attacking Sonja in the shower! The prisonguard is corrupt!! She put the pill in Tonys sister. Barry and Lukas takes the sister in the ambulance. They suck at faking ambulance workers haha i love it. Sonja is blaming Emil for the murderattempt as she should! The bitch us back! Sonja is allowed to stay in the safehouse. Barry my beloved, you are not convincing at all. Lukas and Barry ditch the ambulance and run. Linus and Nina 😭. Barry is eating more kebab? And robbing the kebab guy… Linus and Nina are eating. Tove is excited about meating Sonja? Emil is telling Sonja about how he had to tell her kids about her "death". They found a policetracker on the car that was supposed to drive Sonja to the safehouse. Sonja is running away. Tony called Vera and tells her everything went south with his sister and that she is in the hospital and Sonja escaped. Veras model for Ecovera quits. Familytime in the safehouse? Emil tells the family Sonja escaped. Emil takes the family away from the safehouse now. OMG EMIL HID SONJA IN HIS CAR AND FAKED HER RUNAWAY!! WTF

okay so, this episode didn’t really do much? I’m sure Emil is taking everyone to The majors house after making a deal with Sonja. I think Emil finally realized what big shit Sonja is in. Linus really didn’t get to grieve Tanja and the siblingstuff I wanted wasn’t really present except some Nina&Linus scenes. Hopefully more will happen next episode

WAIT! Dean knows who she is? That she can see spirits? And believes she’s encroaching on his turf?

Now a girl she just met is dead. Hmmm…

Khali, is basically a prisoner/trophy. She is Dragon Blessed, I believe that means she has all four elements, she is to be married to the next King, which will be chosen by the current king it sounds like. The eldest was accused of kissing her which is grounds for exile and if he returns, death. Harsh and weird.

Bram wants to know what really happened because Khali had a crush on the brother and the brother did not have feelings for her. 🤔🤔🤔 

They know about the mortal realm, not supposed to read about it. You know what that means?! Someone is going to travel from one realm to the other at some point.

One of the princes, Owen, is her friend, but mom wants her to pick Silas, but she doesn’t really get a choice now does she.

Khali is not “allowed” to shift into a dragon, but she does on occasion anyway

Silas, Owen’s twin, Bram is the youngest, oldest exiled is DEAN ASHTON, HE’S IN THE MORTAL REALM WITH HAZEL!  Did he go there on purpose? Does that mean that Hazel isn’t supposed to be in the mortal realm?

Soooo, it almost sounds like Dean is there on purpose and there are people who know he’s there, or that’s where he got exiled to. Why would they want to spy on him though? It also definitely sounds like Hazel might either be from the other realm or has genes from an ancestor who was from the other realm.

NOOOOOOOO Owen can’t be dead!!!! 😭😭😭 That is sooooo unfair.🤬 To be honest, I was going to give Silas the benefit of the doubt to end up being a good guy for Khali, but nope. He’s definitely first in line for the chopping block. Dick!

Oh so her dad was some kind of spy and got hexed because of it, but not before discovering that Khali is going to die. Awesome. Silas is more of an ass than I gave him credit for. I fucking hate double standards. I think if  she’s the prize then she should be the ruler. Maybe that will happen.

Of course Dean is sitting next to her now. Definite “Is this where you kill me?” vibes 😅😅😅 He wants her help but he won’t give her information in return. Why is it dangerous for him to tell her things that it seems like she’s supposed to already know? If she’s supposed to already know them then what’s the harm in telling her?

Go Khali! Damn, blocked. Oh Bram is so smart. I think everyone is underestimating him. Everytime they’re alone I keep thinking he’s going to reveal that he does have magic, but hasn’t happened yet. Wait if he suspects her father was visiting Dean maybe Harmony hexed him. I bet that’s it. Are Khali and Bram going to go to the human realm and bring Dean and Hazel back with them? 🤔🤔

Hazel is followed by a man, she exits the alley and sees the dragon spirit on the roof. It swoops down the alley, Dean appears and asks if saw dragon and where it went, she points and he takes off. WTF was that all about?

Khali and Bram travel to the Jewel forest and then rest, Khali almost bites it after a voice like Owens lures her away, she realizes trees feed off of blood. There’s something wrong with her magic. At least that’s what it seems like and i’m wondering if it has to do with the prologue. Now that I think about it, I’m thinking whoever took her blood, the spell is supposed to kill her and end the dragon blessed forever. :(

Hazel ends up doing a reading for the mother of a girl who went missing 2 years ago, happy and at peace, won’t say what happened just shares a happy memory, mother thanks her says be careful, darkness in this town. This was such a nice scene until she mentioned the darkness in town.

Hazel breaks into Dean’s house to find answers 🤣🤣 but obviously he has an invisible alarm and catches her. He finally agrees to talk, yay!

Khali and Bram make it to the Fae land, meet Terek who knows who they are 👀 👀 👀

Dean shows Hazel he’s a dragon and she doesn’t run, he tells her he’s not supposed to be there but has made himself comfortable and thought she was there to take him back. 🥺

Tagalong Terek takes Bram and Khali to a clearing where it sounds like the  flowers influence Khali and Bram to kiss? Not gonna lie, I kind of expected them to kiss at some point, because I feel like she’s going to end up with Bram in the end.

Hazel takes off her necklace to do a reading for Dean and Katherine spirit decides to just bombard her with what happened to her. Dean puts necklace back on her 🥰, she didn’t see dragon, Dean takes her home. She did see a man with solid black eyes. Hazel tells Macy and Cora about her gift but leaves out the dragon part and Dean, they believe her. Yay!

Occultist captures Bram to get to Khali, awesome.

Khali looking for Bram, Silas shows up, demands she come home, she says no and flies away, south to go to human realm on her own to find Dean 🥳

Hazel date with Landon, goes well, keeps thinking of Dean though 🤣, park at lake, she is creeped out because of what happened to Katherine and Landon kisses her, then basically attacks her, she sees his black eyes, necklace ripped off, sees spirit, figures out it’s controlling Landon, didn’t know that was possible 😱😱😱

Khali reaches the lake and feels for the magic, follows it, water creature will help but owe her a debt, Khali agrees, follow to bottom of lake and when she comes back up she’s in the human realm. Yay 🥳🥳🥳

Possessed Landon tries to kill Hazel but dragon spirit distracts other spirit and she gets away, then dragon loses and spirit takes over Landon again, he searches for her, she tries to contact detective but Landon finds her, takes to lake and going to start a ritual. Is this part of the Occultists thing that has to do with Khali?

Please tell me it’s Hazel that Khali is hearing scream. It is Hazel! Yay!! Khali kills Landon 😭 Khali fights the reaper, Dean shows up 🥳🥳 and they kill it together, felt her dragon come through, cops show up, Khali tells him evil hurt Hazel and she killed it, Dean had to run away

In the hospital Khali tells Hazel what happened. Dean comes in, Khali explains she was pulled to Hazel, had to save her and couldn’t leave her, literally. Find out Hazel and Khali have same exact birthday, 12/16. Khali thinks Hazel has spirit element and that they are connected through a spell, and they have 2 months to break it and save Khali’s family. 😅😅😅😬

This was so good. I can’t wait to read the other two books and find out more about this spell. If they’re all going to go to the other realm. If they’re going to save Bram. If Hazel and Dean will end up together. If Khali and Bram will end up together. If Khali will change everything and rule alone. What will Hazel’s spirit element grow into.

Will Yoongi comeback just in time to save her again? Was Taehyung able to hear her through the door of the cellar? If yes he must be so worried on top of everything else.

Episode 61 (S4E2) Thoughts

1) Wow, the water (that shot where Magath looks out the window) looks amazing?? I also already commented on this, but the shadows are really well done. There are a lot of tiny details that make this so much more realistic.

2) Magath: We should stop using Titans. Zeke: Not on my watch. 😂 I love how he just steals his thunder.

3) Dude, the timeline is confusing me so much 😩.

4) Oh, apparently, the opening doesn’t actually say “monster” when it zooms in on Eren lol.

5) Omg I’m still not over that closeup of Zeke’s lips. They luscious af 👀. Also, can he not look hot smoking? It’s a filthy habit. 

6) I love how the soft side of Zeke is being highlighted in this arc.

7) I saw a comment about how MAPPA is actually using a cinematic approach to the camera angles. That’s why it looks awkward sometimes. But knowing that, it doesn’t bother me as much.

8) “The special way I wipe my ass” 😂😂😂😂 This line will never not be funny. He’s such a crackhead. I love him.

9) Shady glasses 👀.

10) I’m really happy we at least got to see Ymir one more time. But the look on her face 💔😭. It’s interesting how Marley does a similar ritual for handing off a Titan power from one shifter to another though.

12) I love Udo. The anime is making him leave a bigger impression on me. But he feels more hot-headed here?? I don’t know, but he reminds me of Kruger and Eren both. 

13) I really like how they structured the shot of Eren watching the Warriors.

14) Falco going off at Reiner, damnnnn. But Reiner is a piece of shit. Did he really need to lay into Falco like that?? And so much for “protecting” him. He only cares about Gabi.

15) I’m in love with the ost they played when the Warriors get back home. It gives me video game vibes?? Like Traverse Town from KH. Anyways, it’s a beautiful track and I can’t wait to get my hands on the full version.

16) I said this already, but the reunion scene is really heartwarming. Zeke’s voice when he says “grandpa, grandma” is so fond 😭.

17) I just noticed that detail with Pieck’s dad being sick 👀.

18) Falco is really best boy 💕. He’s so kind.

19) The part with the soldiers suffering from PTSD is always really sad to see 😔. Those Marleyan guys are trash. But also, it’s a cool detail that Eren didn’t actually flinch like the others, since he didn’t actually participate.

20) It’s pretty sickening when you see Gabi’s family praising her for killing the enemy. Like...yeah she did save other SoY but...she also killed a bunch of people. It’s disgusting how killing in war is honoured like this. No regard whatsoever for the people on the other side of the equation.

21) Dang, that detail with the rain from the window reflecting on Reiner. MAPPA is really adding a ton of cool details you don’t usually see in an anime.

22) Hmm...I still think the delivery of Reiner’s speech wasn’t as powerful without the flashbacks :/ His expression doesn’t change much either, so it didn’t quite make up for it. Karina’s reaction feels out of place as a result, at least to me. But I guess “all sorts of people” kinda implies that they’re not all “devils”.

23) Dude wtf?? She’s so fucking scary. I’m getting Snow White’s stepmother vibes. She’s like “damn you Reiner you’re undoing all my brainwashing”. But seriously, Karina trying to maintain Gabi’s brainwashing is 🤢.

24) Omg wtf. That shot of the guy jumping scared the shit out of me. I didn’t catch it during the livestream. But man, MAPPA is really driving home how awful war is 😔.

25) Dang, Zeke gets a whole room to himself as War Chief 😯?

26) I’m so upset they took out the world map completely. Here I was thinking we’d get a full version. Also, that photo of the Tyburs wasn’t originally there, was it? 

27) Okay, they’re making it very easy to understand that the festival is all a hoax and a setup for Marley to manipulate the world. I don’t get why the manga community never understood that. Zeke literally refers to Willy as a narrator.

28) Huh, I just realized that Reiner saved Porco here by cutting him off. Zeke was trying to as well.

29) The panning of the camera from Warrior to Warrior is really cool 👌🏼.

30) MAPPA really made Porco so hot 🔥🔥🔥.

31) The way the Marleyans are spying on them is so scary. And Magath catching onto Zeke being aware of it 🥶.

32) I swear the ending is hinting onto the bird theory. The connection between the birds, Falco, and PATHS is being laid pretty thick... In any case, the full version and visuals are really nice. This is probably my favourite ending. 

Overall, this was more of an informative episode so it was obviously not as hype as the previous one. I’m only really bothered by the Reiner flashback scene. It feels incomplete. Otherwise, the changes are minor and the small additions are really nice.

And we’re getting there, almost to chapter 97! I can’t wait for Eren and Falco’s interactions ^^
