It took me a long time to figure out that I'm not the crazy one everyone seems to think I am. I just happen to have a little more insight and listen to what reveals itself to me. The natives and ancient cultures had great insight into the divine and try to teach what they know to the younger generations through stories which are now known as folklore, but it will be lost in time soon enough... Apparently if there's no physical evidence, then it "never happened"... I'm glad I figured it out with a little bit of curiosity and mushroom cocktail...

Writing Simple Truths

“What is the purpose of writing? For me personally, it is really to explain the mystery of life, and the mystery of life includes, of course, the personal, the political, the forces that make us what we are while there's another force from inside battling to make us something else.” ― Nadine Gordimer

But you don't have to write to strip away, or take control of your own narrative. Times have changed and we should be taking control of our own narrative, so that we can mentally and emotionally involve, so that we may stay well.

We can do that just by working through our issues to reveal our simple truths and to deal with our mental health. Not everyone will understand your journey. That’s okay they don't need to, they need to understand their own. Life is about each of our journey, what we deal with.

In taking control of your own narrative, you remove the veils, and strip away, to reveal what is there. My writing has never changed me or my values, if anything, it shines a light on my values, on all our values through my personal and universal experiences.

But unless you're dealing with your mental health, you're ignoring the simple truths. I write the simple truths on many topics based on first-hand accounts, but I also write from a universal perspective on topics that affect us all.

I continue to write about mental health, because it is important. My writing forces us to think about our lives, writing that can if we put the work in, shape us into the people we become and that allows for good mental health.
