Aujourd'hui, j'ai pleuré dans les bras de mon amoureux. Et j'ai encore envie de pleurer en écrivant cette phrase. J'ai mal à la tête à cause des larmes et de l'alcool. Un peu de harpe, une voix éthérée, la langue grecque, des battements destructurés, me soignent.

Lovely ambient art-pop vibes from the harpist, composer, singer and producer Sissi Makropoulou for her Sissi Rada project. Although Sissy Rada began as a duo, with the release of this album, Makropoulou is on her solo journey now. On Aporia, she has meticulously crafted a profound record using what was at her disposal – a Prophet synth, delicate tones, and harp. Her music is unassuming and unpretentious yet intricate and intimate. On this album, her compositions sound seemingly minimal but brim with emotion and colour.

Tapi gapapa hikmahnya adalah bahwasanya aku harus crosscheck tentang hal-hal kaya gini. Ternyata "mitos atau fakta" bukan di dunia kesehatan aja, tapi perislaman juga ada:')

She had used them for decades before I was ever born as had her mother. They knew these “church knives” as they called them to be the best quality and easiest to get back to razor sharp . Granny and Mamaws kitchen were full of every manner of RADA tool from their hand choppers we used for making mixed pickles to their paring knives that peeled every apple going into the giant copper pot over the fire making our apple butter. They trusted them and so do I, still today decades after both Granny and Mamaw left for heaven and left mom and me each a kitchen full of them to use making all of their left behind recipes. I have decided for Christmas 2022 that I wanted to use my “influence” to nudge you all in the direction of the best made in America knives available. RADA has been used in my home and on the compound for as long as they’ve been available. We know them. We trust them. We love them. And we believe you will too.
