I'm taking a break from character modeling to play around with smokey, explode-y simulations. Here are a couple contenders with various perimeters tweaked. I appreciate the absurd violence of the first one.

It’s kinda neat how Chosen’s lightning ability is specifically lightning and not just electricity in general. He always makes a cloud for it to come from first.

Also have you noticed that he doesn’t need his fire to stay in the air whenever he has those thunderclouds? Granted we’ve only seen him use lightning on three occasions and he was only flying for two of them, and he may still be flying with his fire while he’s making them, but it seems that when he’s actively using the cloud he doesn’t need his fire to remain airborn.

He might not even need to make the cloud himself; in Wanted it looks like he calls upon the clouds that are already around him. But it’s interesting that it seems he needs a cloud on-hand in order to do anything with electricity.

i realize pointing this out will make a bunch of people notice it for the first time but idc: i think one of my funniest art weaknesses is i lowkey cannot draw boobs. i can bs my way around them enough to get by but they just do not make sense to my brain and i constantly forget they exist

Month 3, day 17

Happy St Patrick's Day, I makeded a fire :3 It's a simulation instead of a material so it actually moves realistically and whatnot. That also means I'm gonna be animating it, but that'll be 150 frames at roughly three minutes per frame, and I want to go to bed in less than half an hour, so it's gonna render overnight again :)
