Let's dress up this turtle emoji for the Fandom Family Reunion fashion show, shall we?

This is a turtle emoji! We're gonna call him Carl. Because he looks like a Carl, doesn't he? (I got him from HERE)

Carl feels like playing dress-up in honor of fashion week. What will Carl decide to wear as he struts his stuff down the runway?

And to start us all off, Carl's coming in hot dressed as a charred but totally adorable Smokey from the Sparky AU by @belleyellsaboutturtles! With a bonus Sparky, who seems to really dislike clothes. (Cabin 15)

Speaking of cool, Carl straps on some Citadel fashion as Mikhail from @chessman-protocol's Covert AU! (Cabin 14)

Carl's a big fan of sunglasses, so he makes sure to flash them as he walks down the runway as @karonkar and @owliedoesnothing's Fear's Embrace OC Marco in his usual apocalyptic style! (Cabin 13/Cabin 14 Counselor)

Carl really enjoys dressing up as @twignotstick's character Mikey/Scout! That smile charms us all. (Cabin 14)

“Hello Smokey, or is it Sparky right now? Unfortunately I didn’t bring any flame resistant fabrics since Angelo has mastered his flames, but I guess that’s an oversight on my part.” Cerulean tapped his chin, thinking for a moment. He turned and gestured Sparky to follow him. He made his way through a makeshift photoshoot set, the myriad of turtles in various outfits filling the area. He arrived in a sectioned area, seeming to be his and his brothers’. He riffled through the many outfits he had displayed on one of the racks. Based on the colour pallete, it’s Angelo’s clothes. “Maybe this one could work. We can loosen it so it’s not as restrictive, and nobody would miss it if you happened to set it on fire.”

Another offer to go play in the water.

"Uh..."

Here's the thing with Smokey. Yeah, he's Doctor Delicate Touch, but he also wants people to be happy. As it is, back home, he has trouble telling his brothers "no" when he doesn't want to float in the sewers with them. Especially when they go out of their way to try to find a way to make him comfortable! He can't let their effort go to waste and disappoint them!

And these people weren't his brothers. Logically, he knew that. But in his heart, he felt like he was looking at his Raph, Donnie, and Leo while they waited for him to join them.

He'd said no a lot already this event. He was getting worn down. Maybe...maybe it wouldn't be so bad? If he said yes? But water polo meant the water had to be deep enough to swim and play. And he could get dunked under. He really didn't want to get dunked under.

That's it, Sparky grumbled. They've felt enough of their host's anxiety and conflict. When they got back home, they'd work on the turtle's brother pleasing tendencies. For now, Smokey only got a second of warning before they were gently pushed to the back and Sparky took the front.

On the outside, it looked like the box turtle zoned out, blank faced for but a moment before seemingly coming back to himself. His eyes changed color from a dark red to a brilliant orange in a blink. His spots seemed even brighter in the cave lighting.

Sparky looked up at the group of turtles, a neutral expression resting on his face. Not unkind or mean, but not overly cheerful. Just...neutral. "No, thank you," they intoned before turning and walking away.

Sparky, you can't just walk away from people like that, Smokey said. He sounded exasperated, and maybe he was a little, but Sparky also noted the gratefulness flowing in the undercurrent of the bond.

"Well, I did," they retorted. "If they do not like it, it is not my concern. Now, I am taking us away from the water. We can find another sport to do."

Mikey sighed, but Sparky could sense the turtle's smile. Yeah, alright. Thanks, Spark.

Raph subconsciously let out a low churr as he stepped over with measuring tape. Her tail lightly thumped against the ground as he measured the smol turt.

Donnie strutted up as their sister focused. Their hands idly flapped as they circled the two.

"Assuming your flames operate more like natural flames and don't have some sort of mystic quality, making a fireproof fabric shouldn't be hard. Of course, if there is more mystics in the fire we could still make the fabric, it'll just take longer. Just give sweet Raphala your requests, and we'll have you hooked up with a functional outfit in the near future."

Donnie looked curiously at the other turtle, blinking in thought. He'd never met someone that was "very flammable." Well, that might not be true. Technically, everyone was flammable in the sense that they could catch on fire. People weren't good at not burning if they were on fire. But he wasn't used to meeting people that tended to produce fire. That was definitely something new.

He turned his attention up to Raph, who was looking at the turtle with a frown. "That might be a tall order. 'Specially if we gotta worry about things catching on fire."

"What if we coated the fabric with something that isn't flammable?" Donnie asked. "You could see what kind of styles he likes, and then I could make something to coat it, and maybe then it wouldn't set on fire!"

Raph nodded. "Yeah, okay." He looked back at the other turtle. "Alright, kid, lets see if we can help you out."
