KITTENS!!!! they're all so cute :') and I'm so glad that Bub and Willowsplash have the opportunity to be parents, i think they're going to be fantastic at it.

yes, Frogkit is (vaguely) intended to be reincarnated Lee. i went with Frog instead of Leaping, just because neither Jaycall or Beefreckle was close enough with Lee that they'd name one of their kids after him, so the Frog thing is just an accident. he does have vitiligo, and is the first Fallenclan cat to have it!!! you'll have to be patient with me while i figure out exactly how i want to draw it. he's actually a much darker color as a 1 month old for some reason??? i was under the impression that they get More White not the other way around. idk, i'm just gonna use the little dude's sprite as a reference for how much white to give him as time goes on.

and yes, Spiderkit is named after Spiderclaw. Beefreckle wants to honor his brother's memory, i think.

Already starting off strong with interesting things happening! The medicine cat immediately getting pregnant in moon 1 was not on my Clangen bingo card but hey new kits soon!

Crowheart may be grumpy and rude sometimes but he is dedicated to his clan. What a brave guy! Poor Bobby :c My sweet little Bobby..

Hello and welcome to CutieClan, my ClanGen project! You can call me Foxy (she/her). I am illustrating the events of CutieClan, starting at Moon 0. I'll be posting a new comic page every week or so and starting out doing one moon at a time.

I was heavily inspired by other blogs such as FallenClan and SporeClan! I won't tag them just yet since I am only starting out, but I want to do fanart of their cats in the near future so I'll tag them then :3

I haven't touched tumblr in many years, and I am still figuring out how to draw cats consistently, so this will be a learning experience in several ways. I hope you will enjoy watching my progress and getting to know the cats of CutieClan as the weeks go on!

To get us started, here's all the Founding Cats profiles! Since I am still learning to draw cats, I decided to simply redraw the game sprites for their profiles. I tried to give each cat a unique design and features reflecting their personality!

I am unsure what day of the week new pages will be posted just yet, but expect the Moon 0 page to be posted in the next few days to kick off the new year!

meet peachstar, the leader of drizzleclan! he is a fawn ticked tabby :] those are yellow primroses on her tail, to symbolize her love for drizzleclan [and her mate, redsong]!! peachstar in general is a very loving and gentle leader, but fights with the ferocity of a true parent

the dots on her forehead are actually a leader mark!

and here's his kits, snailkit and bugkit! they're almost 6 moons old, and love bothering their dad to make them apprentices early

A little video showing some of the steps making a limpkin illustration. 1. I lost my phone on vacation, but on the way back from the phone store I saw a limpkin - a lifer for me. It was a good opportunity to try out my new phone camera. 2. I made sketches 3. I worked up a vector design in Inkscape 4. I didn't totally like the design so I made more sketches 5. I liked the new vector design better. 6. I selected a mollusk for the bird to eat. 7. I liked grounding the picture with a solid dark bar at the bottom, but what exactly was that bar? I decided it was the water the bird was wading in - it was coming up to its belly. To make that more clear I added some fish 8. I filled in some blank space with a cloud mimicking some of the other patterns in the design. 9. I added textures in Affinity Photo and decided I liked the background white, and a minimal palette of three basic tones.

spiritden (he/it) was born in windclan to the leader and deputy of his clan during a time where the clans were lacking a holy place, akin to the moonstone or moonpool. originally named snailkit, starclan chose him to be a vessel, allowing them to speak to the clans through his young body. however, this took an immense toll on his body. he became weak and mentally disorganized, often becoming ill and developing severe alterations to his body (split eyes and tail). at six moons, he was named spiritden, skipping an apprenticeship, and was stripped of any other duties; he would only serve the clans as a device of communication. as he grew up, he would have seizures, bouts of vomiting blood, and develop severe hysteria. he became skinny as he denied most meals, and had to be cleaned by others as he could no longer support himself. he began to hate starclan, who tortured him every waking hour of his life. spiritden would end up lashing out to the healers and leaders of the clans who visited him to commune, injuring many and being physically abused in the process to force him into submission. at around the age of seven years, the clans would move territories due to a mass hunger which dried their land up from any sustenance. spiritden was left behind to die, and would succumb to hunger and infection.

when greeted by starclan residents, who allowed him a place in their ranks, he was quick to scourge their names and screech hatred. spiritden rejected starclan, and was sent to the dark forest instead. there, his hatred would dwell and fester for decades. whenever a cat became apart of a prophecy, spiritden would haunt their dreams, attempting to send them down the wrong path. he would sent vulnerable cats fake signs and messages to stir the clans, twisting prophecies into his own. spiritden uses these cats, forcing them to remember who he is so he never fades. he is well-respected in the dark forest and well-known in the clans, continuing to spite the living even hundreds of years after his death.

I wanted to have the rest completed today, but I struggle with chronic wrist pain and wasn't able to get it finished in time, so I will post the rest sometime this week. Thank you for your patience! Snailpaw is apprenticed to Fawnstar, Crowheart has a cool scar, and Sunkit is making her parent proud. More to come soon! It's very much a combination of luck and imagination! The game just so happened to generate two apprentices that looked nearly identical AND were literally the exact same age. I couldn't resist that perfect of a chance :'D

I did actually try to go into the files and change them to siblings retroactively but it didnt work so meh >:/
