My toxic trait is that once my mind decides that certain character is a bottom that's the point of no return I won't be able to ever see him as a top.

In the book The Godfather in one part Michael becomes jealous of the intimacy of Sonny and Tom “Michael comfortably seated with the telephone on the right study the two men, when Tom had entered the room Sonny had run to hug him, Michael couldn't help but feel jealous since Sonny and Hagen's intimacy was much greater than that of him and his brother” Mario Puzo was afraid of success, Sonny and Tom had a lot of chemistry

Did Sonny have a boyfriend when he was in his teens? Was his boyfriend a secret? What was his personality?
I don't think he would have. Sonny isn't really into men, imo, he just really likes Tom. It's hard to explain.

Corleone children being gay and their tastes
Fredo : Fredo would be the gay man who looks like Gay and he is, I feel that his father would take it normal since he suspected it of him. He would be passive-active and his tastes would be crazy, partying and tall men, Fredo wouldn't care much about the physique, I think.
Michael: Michael in the book has an almost feminine beauty and his father had his suspicions. Michael would be active-passive (more active) and his tastes would be someone calm and innocent, who knows how to make decisions and is sure of himself
Sonny: Nobody expected Sonny's homosexuality and it took his father by surprise. Sonny would obviously be active and he would like them calm and intelligent, he would like blondes (I'm talking about you Tom) and someone who can control him.
Tom: Tom would be passive, I think, and he would like those who cannot control themselves, someone who is funny and who cares for and protects him. When I hear that he is gay, don Vito would support him since he loves him like a son

‘We actually just came for the show,’ the girl said smiling sweetly at Elvis. ‘Well that’s awfully kind of ya,’ Elvis said. ‘We wouldn’t miss it!’ her friend said beaming at him, ‘we love all your records. Are you going to sing Love Me Tender tonight? That’s my favourite.’ ‘Uh I’m not too sure,’ Elvis said as he signed the picture of him the girl handed him. Addison watched from the side-lines.   They had just landed in Birmingham and whilst the Colonel and his people arranged for their rooms to be set up Elvis had been collared by some eager fans who had found out where he would be staying for the night. She was standing with Sonny, watching as he signed various items for the girls and chatted politely, and as she watched she couldn’t help but feel that this was different. She had seen his hordes of fans before but then they had been there by coincidence, they had happened upon meeting him, and now she was acutely aware of the buzz of the hotel and the fact the girls had come looking for him. For a second she thought that might be why everything between them felt different today but the longer she watched she rethought that notion. Since they had come home last night after the diner they had seemed to switch into a different mode. Maybe it was because she finally felt like there was a hope her feelings could be reciprocated. Maybe he was just feeling protective but since last night he had been more attentive. He barely left her alone and was even the one to wake her this morning talking her through what to bring with her and what to expect on show days. The long car journey they spent together and though other people were in the car with them it felt as though they were alone. He allowed her to lay her head on his lap and read her book and whenever they got out of the car he was always nearby an arm around her shoulder or his hand on the small of her back. It felt good.   Addison had been lost in her thoughts but she was pulled out of them as Red appeared and whispered something in Sonny’s ear that made him nod in response before he headed towards Elvis. As Red headed back towards the main group and the girls were informed they needed to wrap this session up, begging for a photo before that happened, Addison wandered towards the group slotting herself in between Vernon and Dodger.   ‘That’s not right,’ the Colonel said, ‘I specifically said ten rooms.’ ‘They’ve only got nine down,’ Tom said, ‘and it’s fully booked.’ ‘Well they’ll have to unbook it!’ the Colonel said, ‘I asked for ten.’ ‘That might be my fault,’ Vernon said earning a sour look from the Colonel as he explained, ‘they had bigger rooms like some of the boys are in and Addie wasn’t coming so I figured they could swap, and Mom could come in with Gladys and me.’ ‘What are we going to do?’ Gladys asked just as Elvis appeared, Sonny in tow. He slotted in behind her, so close their bodies were almost touching.   ‘What’s the hold-up? Why aren’t the rooms ready?’ Elvis asked. Addison shrunk back a little suddenly feeling quite the burden. At this point in his career, Elvis had gotten used to everything being sorted for him without him having to worry about a thing and now one trip with her included had everything on its head.   ‘We haven’t got enough rooms,’ Tom said, ‘I’ve asked them to change it but there are so many folks in town to see you they can’t make space.’ ‘Why aren’t there enough rooms in the first place?’ Elvis asked with a frown. ‘Because we have an unforeseen addition today,’ the Colonel said glancing at Addison before his eyes met Elvis’s. ‘My fault son,’ Vernon said, ‘I forgot I rejigged a couple of things.’ ‘And there’s no other room?’ Red asked. Tom shook his head. ‘There’s a couple of couches in the lobby,’ Sonny joked, ‘I’m sure they’ll be comfy right Addie?’ ‘Oh definitely,’ she said feeling a little more at ease, ‘hell I’ll sleep on someone’s floor I’m not bothered.’ ‘Yeah, is there no one she can bunk with just for one night?’ Red said watching as Tom immediately looked at his clipboard and scanned down the list.   ‘She can bunk with me,’ Elvis said earning confused looks from everyone in the circle apart from Addison who kept her back to him as silence fell. Since he had become successful Elvis had stayed true to himself. He was a very down-to-earth guy but he did have his extravagances. He liked his room to be set up to his liking. He insisted on certain things to be provided in his hotels and at shows. And he always had his own room. Alone.   ‘Are you sure EP?’ Red said, ‘I mean I’m sure Son or I could-’ ‘It’s not a big deal,’ Elvis shrugged, ‘right Addie?’ ‘Right,’ Addison said with a weak smile though the looks around the group didn’t seem any less thrown for a loop. ‘Well then, I wanna have a shower so have we got the keys?’ Elvis said. As Tom divided up the keys and informed everyone of where they’d be staying Addison turned to look at Elvis. He smiled at her making her heart thud in her chest. Then Red gestured for them to follow him which they did so with Sonny in tow. Yet as they headed up to their room Addison couldn’t help but feel the Colonel’s watchful eye on her.   When they got to the room Red did a quick sweep of it whilst Sonny carried their luggage inside for them. Once they were satisfied the pair headed next door to their room leaving Elvis and Addison alone. Elvis picked up his suitcase and threw it on the bed so he could look for something but Addison didn’t move. She stayed lingering by the door and watched him still feeling the awkwardness from before deep inside her. After not hearing anything for a moment he looked up at her puzzled.   ‘Are you gonna stand there all night?’ Elvis smirked. ‘No,’ she said rolling her eyes, ‘I was just wondering how long this is gonna last.’ ‘What?’ Elvis said confused. ‘I thought rockstars insisted on having their own room,’ she said before adding with a smirk, ‘what did you panic about me being abandoned twice in one weekend.’ ‘Funny,’ Elvis said, ‘actually I was worried you were gonna take up on Red’s offer. Now sharing a room with them is something you never need to see.’ ‘And sharing a room with you is a cakewalk?’ she giggled. Elvis smiled back feeling a warmth in his chest. It had become a regular feeling since last night. He had felt something change in them both since their trip to the diner and though he wasn’t wholly convinced they could be together just yet he had given in to his feelings a little and allowed himself to be a bit more fancy-free than before. ‘Do you wanna be left out in the cold?’ he said grabbing his toiletries out of his suitcase. ‘I don’t know. I mean with all your groupies hanging around outside I doubt I’ll be too cold after all we can huddle for warmth,’ she teased, ‘though I would have to hear them gushing about you so maybe not…’ ‘Like you wouldn’t be gushing over me,’ Elvis chuckled feeling the warmth spread deeper in his chest as he noticed her blush before she quickly recovered. ‘Nope, I’d be selling stories about you. $1 per tale,’ she said. ‘Pfft, I’m worth at least $5,’ he said.   Addison smiled and then turned away going to her suitcase which she popped on the bed by his before looking around the room, ‘Elvis?’ ‘Yeah?’ he said as he headed into the bathroom to lay out his stuff. ‘There’s only one bed,’ she said. ‘You only just noticed that?’ he said coming to lean on the doorframe to the bathroom, ‘with observational skills like that I doubt your stories will be worth 50 cents.’ ‘What are we gonna do?’ she asked watching him with concern. ‘Share?’ he said trying to sound neutral, ‘I mean if you don’t mind. If not I’ll get the boys to ask for a camp bed or something. Or I’ll go on the floor.’ ‘Don’t be ridiculous,’ she said her eyes fixed on her suitcase as she continued, ‘I just wanted to check that we’re good. I mean I’ve never been to one of these things and I don’t want to be an imposition.’ ‘Addie you’re not an imposition,’ Elvis said. She looked up and caught his eye nodding at him, ‘unless you still sleep like you did when you were a kid then we might have to have a rethink.’ ‘Aw come on I loved our sleepovers,’ she said. ‘So did I,’ Elvis chuckled, ‘but there’re only so many kicks to the head a boy can take before he starts thinking it’s personal.’ ‘Well I promise to keep my feet to myself,’ she said with a smile. ‘I’ll hold you to it,’ Elvis replied before he headed into the bathroom to shower trying to ignore the excitement that grew inside him at the thought of tonight.   ✵✵✵   Elvis was nervous. As he stood backstage, listening to Scotty as he talked about the setlist once more before they went on, he couldn’t help but feel knots in his stomach. He didn’t know why. He had performed a thousand times before and it wasn’t like this night was a special one or anything. Tomorrow was a charity concert and that was the one that needed a little more attention. He wasn’t the solo performer and there would be people there who wouldn’t be there just to see him meaning he would need to bring his A-game and yet tonight he felt more nervous. This was the first time Addison would see him perform and he wanted to impress her.  Perhaps he wouldn’t feel as nervous if she had elected to come to sound check but she had chosen to stay behind with Gladys and Dodger and by the time they had wrapped up, he hadn’t even had time to go back to the hotel. Instead, they’d eaten in his dressing room and then he’d had to get changed so now he was standing at the side of the stage not knowing where she was. His mother had ducked backstage to see him but she hadn’t been in tow which Gladys informed him was so Dodger wasn’t left on her own.   ‘Ready?’ Scotty said looking at Elvis expectantly. Elvis nodded, receiving a clap on the back from his friends who headed onto the stage to get their instruments set up as the sound system connected. Whilst the band broke into the first melody he strutted onto the stage trying to ignore the nerves in his stomach. The lights were bright and hot on his face and he could barely see beyond them as he broke into his first song. He could hear the screams and shouts of the crowd egging him on as he sang but he could barely register it.   Addison was watching in awe. She hadn’t understood the hype until now. She loved his singing voice and to her, he was always her best friend before he was ‘The Elvis Presley’ but now she could see why just so many girls fell in love with him. He was intoxicating. His voice was one thing but the way he commanded a stage with his presence and dancing was another. She especially liked the rapport he had with the crowd. She liked watching the way his face would light up as he thought of his next move or the smirk that danced across his face when he knew he was going to do something that would make the girls scream.   And for Addison though the gig was over far too fast. Before they were even done with their last song the Colonel was at Vernon’s side and encouraging them to head backstage which they did so quickly. As they got backstage Elvis was just coming off, drenched in sweat and visibly amped.   ‘Good show my boy!’ the Colonel said clapping him on the shoulder. ‘Great son,’ Vernon said, ‘a real good one.’ ‘You think?’ Elvis said as he hugged his mother and then Dodger. ‘Always is darlin’,’ Gladys said. As the boys descended on them, his family moved out of the way to relieve some of the congestion in the wings of the stage. Addison however stayed put by his side longing to tell him how much she had liked the show though she didn’t have much time as the boys started congratulating him.   ‘You were on top form man,’ Marty said as he clapped Elvis on the back. Sonny, Red, Billy and Gene also appeared with similar praises for him and the band. ‘Yeah, you can tell you’ve been out for it for a bit,’ Sonny said, ‘you really gave ‘em hell.’ ‘What did you think?’ Elvis said turning around to Addison who was watching him carefully. ‘It was amazing,’ Addison said with a soft smile that made Elvis’ heart sing. ‘Yeah?’ he asked receiving a nod though his attention was pulled from her as Sonny said, ‘yeah which means we should be celebrating.’ ‘I second that,’ Red chuckled. ‘I heard there’s a good bar not so far away from here,’ Marty said. ‘I’m up for that,’ Billy said. ‘Yeah, sounds good,’ Elvis said. ‘Yeah, we can make a boys’ night of it,’ Marty said making Addison’s face fall. Elvis seemed to notice it which made the boys realise she was still standing there. ‘Well maybe not a boys’ night,’ Red said quickly. ‘Yeah,’ Marty said awkwardly, ‘I mean you can come too, Addie.’ ‘Yeah,’ Sonny said throwing an arm around her shoulders, ‘EP has told us you’ve already had a Beale Street initiation I’m sure knocking around Birmingham ain’t gonna be any different.’ ‘No, it’s okay,’ Addison said moving from under Sonny’s grasp as she pulled away from the group. ‘Addie,’ Elvis said looking at her imploringly. ‘Enjoy your night guys,’ she said throwing him a quick smile before she headed to where Gladys, Vernon and Dodger were loitering. Elvis felt his happiness fade as she walked away, and he was stunned at just how quickly his mood could fall from the one of ecstasy he had been feeling as he walked off stage. As the boys flocked around him quickly making their plans he joined in though his participation was minimal. He allowed himself to be shepherded back to his dressing room though all he could think about was heading back to his own hotel room where Addison would now be all night, alone.   ✵✵✵   ‘Shit,’ Elvis said as he stumbled over something. He was attempting to creep into his hotel room as quietly as possible in order not to wake his roommate though this was proven futile as the lamp came on and he spotted Addison pushing herself into a sitting position in the bed. ‘Elvis?’ she asked rubbing the sleep from her eyes as Elvis looked down and kicked the pair of her shoes that he had tripped over out of the way. ‘Sorry for waking ya,’ he said coming into the room properly, ‘go back to sleep.’ ‘I’m up now,’ she said resting back against the headboard, ‘good night?’ ‘Yeah, it was fine,’ Elvis said as he slipped his jacket off and threw it on an armchair in the corner of the room. She watched him closely, trying to ignore the feeling in her lower belly as he unbuttoned his shirt and took it off. He caught her attention though as he turned to face her, snapping her eyes from his toned torso as he said, ‘you could’ve come you know.’   ‘And ruin boys’ night?’ she asked with fake shock. Elvis rolled his eyes and went to the bathroom so he could brush his teeth though he continued to talk to her. ‘You know it’s not like that. Marty was being stupid,’ he called from the bathroom as he shirked his pants off and quickly splashed his face with water. ‘I don’t know he seemed pretty serious to me,’ she chuckled, ‘besides, who said I wanted to come to boys’ night?’ ‘Oh, so you had better plans?’ Elvis said reappearing at the door in just his boxers. Addison had to force herself not to stare as he walked towards the bed and clambered onto it, laying by her feet and supporting himself on his elbow as he watched her. ‘Than listening to you guys talk about football and girls?’ she challenged. ‘Okay, so we’re not as interesting as you girls. Tell me again what you and my mother talked for an hour about today. New colour schemes for the dining room, right?’ he said raising an eyebrow. ‘Technically that counts as work talk,’ she quipped, ‘you should be paying me overtime buddy boy.’ ‘Oh so you’re on the clock?’ he said sitting up and leaning towards her just a little. She leaned in too showing she could go head-to-toe with his teasing. ‘That’s right. You’re out on the town and I’m here slaving away,’ she smirked, ‘shocking really.’ ‘Make sure you invoice my daddy. Can’t have my favourite employee quittin’ on me due to unfair working conditions,’ he chuckled making her smile. ‘I’m your favourite employee?’ she said with a doe-eyed look that Elvis didn’t hate even if it was teasing him. ‘I know,’ he smirked, ‘I’m shocked myself but here we are.’   ‘Well I guess that makes up for being left out of the festivities,’ she said. Elvis’ smile faded a little as guilt crept in though Addison seemed to notice it and offered reassurance by saying, ‘you know I’m just teasin’ right?’ ‘You could’ve come you know,’ he said earnestly. ‘I know,’ she replied, ‘I was only joking with you. I know it wasn’t intentional, I mean this is the first show I’ve been to you and your boys are bound to have your own way of doing things I don’t expect them to rethink everything just because I’m here.’ ‘I know but you were up here all on your own-’ Elvis protested. ‘With a big comfy bed and a TV, gee it’s a wonder how I survived,’ she smirked making Elvis smile just a little, ‘honestly, I was fine with it. And anyway, you deserved a night out with your friends. You’ve not done a show in how long? And you managed to knock it out of the park, to me that deserves a reward.’ ‘You think I knocked it out of the park?’ Elvis said cockily making her roll her eyes. He moved to come and sit beside her, tucking himself under the covers and watching her as she looked towards him.   ‘Maybe,’ she shrugged. Elvis nudged her with his elbow. ‘Wow Addie with a review like that I don’t think my head will ever go back to its normal size,’ he said sarcastically. She rolled her eyes once more and said, ‘okay if you promise not to let this go to your head I’ll tell you what I really thought.’ ‘I promise,’ he said crossing his heart exaggeratedly. ‘It was one of the best things I’ve ever seen in my life,’ she said. Elvis could feel his heart swell with pride though she didn’t let up, ‘now don’t get me wrong I’ve not seen many live performances but I know this was good.’ ‘Yeah?’ he asked softly. ‘Yeah,’ she nodded, ‘I don’t know what it was seeing you up there…I get it. Y’know?’ ‘Addison Goodwin are you telling me that I may have made an honest to god fan out of my best friend?’ he chuckled. ‘Well I suppose it was only a matter of time,’ she said. ‘And to think all I had to do to make you like my music was bring you on an all-expenses trip outta state and force you to sit through a show,’ he smirked. ‘I never said I was easy to please,’ she said. ‘Honey I already knew that,’ he chortled.   Addison smiled, turning so she was facing him properly. Elvis turned a little too resting his head against the headboard as he waited for whatever she was going to say.   ‘So you know that I’ve got some criticisms too,’ she said. ‘Oh yeah what’s that?’ he said. ‘You didn’t cater to your audience,’ she said before adding, ‘well not all of us.’ ‘Huh?’ he asked confused. ‘You played that girl’s favourite song but me? The person you were desperate to win over not even a sniff at my favourite tune,’ she said pretending to be annoyed. ‘I won you over anyway though, didn’t I?’ he challenged. ‘I can still jump ship,’ she said with a smile. Elvis shuffled in the bed watching her closely. Even in the low lamp light she looked pretty. She wasn’t wearing a nightdress like she normally did, a fact that Elvis didn’t know whether to be happy or sad about and instead was wearing a t-shirt and some pyjama pants he thought must’ve belonged to him at some point. He supposed it was probably for the best considering having her laying so close to him in one of her usual cotton nightdresses was surely asking for trouble. Sensing he had left her waiting too long for an answer his brain finally kicked in with a reply.   ‘So go on,’ he said, ‘what’s your favourite?’ ‘Song of yours or anybody’s?’ she retorted. ‘Mine obviously,’ he said, ‘I already know your all-time favourite song.’ ‘Oh you do, do you?’ she asked. ‘Of course,’ he said, ‘it’s ‘I Wonder Who’s Kissing Her Now’.’ ‘How did you-’ she asked puzzled which made Elvis bark a laugh. ‘You made me listen to it enough times,’ he said, ‘so come on. It’s only fair you tell me.’ ‘Wouldn’t you like to know,’ she giggled. ‘Oh come on don’t leave me hanging,’ he said. Addison shrugged and started to shuffle down into the bed, pulling the bedclothes up towards her neck and relaxing back onto her pillow insinuating she was done with her side of the conversation. Elvis groaned, ‘you’re really not gonna tell me?’ ‘Nope,’ she said smugly watching as his eyes narrowed in annoyance. Elvis grumbled and then straightened up slinking down to lay beside her.   ‘That’s fine,’ he said, ‘I already know.’ ‘You do?’ she asked. ‘Yeah,’ he said hoping to beat her at her own game but she was too good for him. ‘I’m glad. I guess I don’t need to bother telling you then,’ she said laughing as Elvis groaned again in frustration. ‘Oh Addie just tell me!’ he said exasperatedly watching her with pleading eyes. Addison pushed herself up onto her elbow and placed her hand on his bare chest as she looked at him. ‘You already know,’ she said, ‘just think about it.’   And then with that, she rolled over, turned out the light, and went to sleep leaving Elvis laying there wracking his brains for the answer.
