for its 20th anniversary update, half-life 2 is free to keep on steam from now until nov 18 at 10am pacific

includes the base game as well as episodes 1 and 2 (which, if you're not familiar, are separate installments in the story)

very important game in a very important franchise, if you don't own it i highly recommend it

it's also a really strong modding platform, if you don't end up playing it vanilla, you'll still benefit from being able to play all the sourcemods that rely on it

Counter Strike rocks, made people rage with sniper rifles. Titanfall is pretty good too, but its been awhile since I last played.

"folks it's time to reverse-engineer tf2 and make a community-maintained one" There are actually at least a couple of sourcemods that branch off from TF2. "Team Fortress 2 Classic" is like an alternate-timeline version of the game that has a lot of new gamemodes, and "Open Fortress" is a Quake-like shooter where you play as a generic mercenary-ish guy that you can customize the loadout and appearance of. It takes a bit of work to set these up but IMO it's absolutely worth it if you want the TF2 experience without the bullshit.

Hey, that's cool as hell! I've never been very good at shooters so it's not really my scene, but TF2 is one of the cornerstones of internet culture so I'm glad it lives on without the bullshit in some form at least. Get Engineered

CS2 Sunucusu Nedir ve Neden Önemlidir?

Bir CS2 sunucusu, oyunun kontrolünü tamamen size veren bir platformdur. Sunucunuzda haritaları, oyun modlarını ve maksimum oyuncu sayısını kendiniz ayarlayabilirsiniz. Daha iyi performans için VDS kullanmanız önerilir.

Gerekli Araçlar ve Hazırlık

Adım 2: CS2 Sunucu Dosyalarını İndirme

Sunucu dosyalarını indirmek için şu komutları izleyin:login anonymous force_install_dir ./cs2server app_update 740 validate

Bu işlem, sunucunun çalışması için gereken tüm dosyaları indirecektir.

Adım 3: Sunucu Yapılandırması

Sunucuyu yapılandırmak için "server.cfg" dosyasını düzenleyin. Bu dosyada sunucu adı, haritalar ve maksimum oyuncu sayısı gibi ayarlar yapılabilir.

Adım 4: Sunucuyu Başlatma

Sunucuyu başlatmak için şu komutu çalıştırın:srcds.exe -game csgo -console -usercon +map de_inferno +maxplayers 10

Adım 5: Port Yönlendirme

Arkadaşlarınızın bağlanabilmesi için modeminizden şu portları a��manız gereklidir:

UDP 27015: Oyun bağlantısı için.

TCP 27015: Yönetim bağlantısı için.

Port yönlendirme işlemini yaptıktan sonra sunucunuz erişime açık olacaktır.
