Today 2nd April marks the 42nd Anniversary of the Falklands War, a conflict fought over 8000 miles away from the United Kingdom.

"The people of the Falkland Islands...are few in number but they have the right to live in peace, to choose their own way of life and to determine their own allegiance." – Margaret Thatcher, 1982.

42 years on, we will still defend that right.

His route took him across the Siberian wastes and the Pacific Ocean above the Hawaiian islands, past the tip of South America and into the South Atlantic, where he was greeted by a second sunrise before a 42-second de-orbit burn over the Angolan coast slowed Vostok 1 into a parabolic orbit and an 8-g deceleration inside Earth's thickening atmosphere.

46. We made it back to Cape Town

After 45 days at sea, crossing the South Atlantic from Cabedelo, Brazil to Cape Town, South Africa, we are back home. It wasn’t an easy passage, and not just because it was our longest yet. We’ll tell all about it in this episode of our podcast.

Like many wrasses, this species is a protogynous sequential hermaphrodite. They start off their lives as females, and become males when they get older.
