You know the drill by now, I'll judge whether an episode has all the qualities of a canon one, or is it just shameless filler. S10E1 The Return of Chef is CANON

When it comes to separating canon material from filler, you really come to notice a lot more secondary characters die in a shorter span of time. Anyway, here's Chef's farewell in a scientology follow-up episode. S10E2 Smug Alert! is FILLER

Kyle moves. He comes back. Stan has a hit song. Never mentioned again. S10E3 & S10E4 Cartoon Wars Part I & II are LORE

I was so conflicted on this one, no consequences come from this two-parter, expect Trey and Matt's interest in the portrayal of Muhammad, and since these got banned on streaming sites, I'd encourage everyone to watch them! S10E5 A Million Little Fibers is FILLER

I'd never make anyone watch this episode. Except that one time when I did a South Park marathon with my step-father and I made him watch it. But no, even if Towelie's career would be mentioned, there's no need for this one to exist. S10E6 ManBearPig is CANON

Every now and then in these posts I feel like I have to explain myself and the fact that I'm excluding iconic episodes of South Park. However based on the feedback I received, everyone seems to get the shtick and I was too anxious, that's why I toned the introduction down. A great Eric episode that's more about telling us the possibilities this character could have, but does not actually have. S10E8 Make Love, Not Warcraft is CANON

Because Randy's role is another turning point in his mid-life crisis, Jenkins will return later and you need an episode that showcases the strength of the four boys' friendship despite all their differences, since you'll see them coming back to it every time after they start growing apart. S10E9 Mystery of the Urinal Deuce is FILLER

Kyle is getting bullied again and this time STAN is the bad guy? Interesting concept, can't say it's important. S10E10 Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy is FILLER

Kyle's brother is getting molested and this time ERIC is the hero? What's up with S10 and these bizarro concepts in its fillers? S10E11 Hell on Earth 2006 is CANON

Not THE most plot-heavy one, but Satan's character development is important to us. S10E12 & S10E13 Go God Go & Go God Go XII are LORE

You don't NEED these for context, however the Garrison arc feels more complete with it. S10E14 Stanley's Cup is FILLER

It's a divisive one for sure and I wouldn't touch it for personal reasons. The one thing you can state is that without it you'll still understand every episode going forward.

Like many a TV personality before him, South Park‘s Cartman is making the choice to take weight-loss drugs.

The animated character’s latest exploits will unfold in South Park: The End of Obesity, a Paramount+ special that will begin streaming on Friday, May 24, in the United States and Canada. (Other areas of the world will be able to see it starting on May 25.)

The End of Obesity, Paramount+’s seventh South Park event, will follow how the Colorado town is affected by the rising popularity of semaglutide-based weight-loss drugs like Ozempic, Mounjaro and Wegovy. “When Cartman is denied access to the life-changing medicine,” the official logline reads, “the kids jump into action.”

In the teaser trailer at the top of this post, a doctor tells Cartman and his mother, “It’s time for some drastic measures to bring down his weight.” Though his friends warn that the choice could be a dangerous one, Cartman is resolute: “Let’s do it.”

The End of Obesity is the show’s seventh special on the streamer. It was preceded by South Park: Post Covid, South Park: The Return of Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park: The Streaming Wars, South Park: The Streaming Wars Part 2, South Park: Joining the Panderverse and South Park: Not Suitable for Children.

Hello,here is the second part of Unpopular Opinions of South Park

PART 2

Here i go:

-Creek isn't an interesting ship,and it seems forced because the whole town were sad they weren't together,so it seems so desperate of them to get them together when they were friends and only friends

-Stendy is my favourite ship and is not as toxic and boring while Dip is my favourite gay ship

-Style and Kyman are so overated and i don't see a point of fighting with each other because of ships where most likely won't be canon,Style are more brothers than lovers and Kyle and Cartman actually genuinely hate each other a lot

-Leslie was such a wasted potential and actually would be a great character (and i don't say a main female one) if the writers made her human and as well with Pip,they shouldn't had Pip get killed off

-i want to see Rebecca,Mark, Damien,Kelly and Gary appear again in the show

-Heidi is my favourite female character while i dislike Bebe

-Heidi should appear again in another episode from the new season

-I found the Centipad episode quite traumatizing

-The Streaming Wars were awful to watch and very unbearable

-The POST COVID special was an ok special from the three South Park specials

-i enjoyed the Cartman from the first seasons more than the older ones,i felt like he was more off a likeable character because he was actually funny and bad but when they made him evil as hell,his character went downhill,his actions aren't funny anymore

-You Are Getting Old is a great episode as it portrays greatly how people cope with depression

-As much as i like Stendy,they are both toxic and seemed to care less for each other in later seasons while in earlier seasons,they were cute as hell

-South Park never died,their spark was still there but maybe it a YOU problem that you don't get their jokes or their unique ways of portray sarcasm and serious situations

-Kenny is kind of overrated,i don't hate him but i do think he is overrated

S25E1 Pajama Day is CANON

I don't feel like coming up with a whole lot of reasons if there's at least a single decent one. Herbert is working again as a fourth grade teacher and we get introduced to his new boyfriend, Rick. But I also like that the realtors get introduced this early. S25E2 The Big Fix is CANON

Now, this IS the kind of thing that can only be made once. Gaslighting your entire audience by ceremonially changing a character's name retrospectively. This added new layers to the show as a whole, and by the way it's the start of the Credigree Weed arc. S25E3 City People is CANON

Liane and Eric move and get a new home. And even if it gets undone a season later, it basically shows us how Eric is prone to losing his home, so we get a better understanding of the timeline ending with him being homeless. S25E4 Back to the Cold War is FILLER

Eh, European politics doesn't seem to be the show's strong suit, they went way too easy on Putin, and it doesn't even have such content to be considered canon. S25E5 Help, My Teenager Hates Me is FILLER

Although Jimbo jumping in as Eric's father figure is cute, the episode is the equivalent of a very fun filler anime episode. S25E6 Credigree Weed St. Patrick's Day Special is LORE

It could be considered ultimately meaningless, but it does build up the Credigree v Tegridy arc of the finale. S25E7-S25E8 The Streaming Wars Part I & Part II is CANON

One thing that bothers me a bit, is that every conflict introduced in this two-part episode special exlusive event gets solved by the end of it, and every development gets undone, still, it works as a proper season finale, bringing back the realtors for one last time. But the reason why it's canon is the ManBearPig arc, which seems to be consistently relevant in the post-22 seasons, so I can't just leave out the fact that he has a wife and a son, PigBearGirl and Chuck Chuck respectively.

Paramount+ has announced a new South Park special event that is headed to the streamer later this month. South Park: Joining the Panderverse will debut Friday, October 27, in the U.S. and Canada and Saturday, October 28, in the UK and Australia with further international markets to follow.

South Park: Joining the Panderverse follows the first four South Park exclusive events – South Park: Post Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park The Streaming Wars and South Park The Streaming Wars Part 2. All four are available to stream on Paramount+.

In South Park: Joining the Panderverse, Cartman’s deeply disturbing dreams portend the end of the life he knows and loves. The adults in South Park are also wrestling with their own life decisions as the advent of AI is turning their world upside down.

Last year, South Park the series celebrated the 25th anniversary of its August 13, 1997 debut on Comedy Central. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny were first seen in the animated short The Spirit of Christmas, and from there were launched into television history.

Building on MTV Entertainment Studios’ megadeal with co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker, South Park has been renewed on Comedy Central through 2027, taking cable’s longest-running scripted series through an unprecedented 30th season.

Parker and Stone executive produce, along with Anne Garefino and Frank C. Agnone II. Eric Stough, Adrien Beard, Bruce Howell and Vernon Chatman are producers. Christopher Brion is the Creative Director of South Park Digital Studios.
