The Procedures and Methods of Attestation in the South korea Embassy
Attestation of documents is an integral step that verifies their authenticity for legal acceptance in foreign countries, making them legally acceptable abroad. When traveling or studying in South Korea it's vital that individuals familiarize themselves with procedures and methods used by its Embassy when attesting their documents.
Attestation (also referred to as authentication or legalization) is the process of authenticating documents for international travel or legal matters, making this procedure mandatory in South Korea for various documents like educational certificates, marriage licenses, birth certificates and commercial contracts.
The Significance of Attestation in South korea
South Korea stands out on the global scene as an oasis of modernity and progress amid its long and rich history. One crucial aspect that underpins various institutions here is attestation - which refers to authenticating documents - carrying immense legal, cultural and economic implications that shape this nation's legal landscape while creating international bonds. Attestation may appear complex or lengthy but this important process helps shape South korea's legal environment while strengthening international ties.
1. Legal Implications of Attestation
South Korean law demands strict compliance with document procedures. Attestation plays an integral part of legal matters by verifying documents such as contracts, educational certificates and business licenses for recognition by governmental bodies. Entrepreneurs seeking to set up in South Korea need attested documentation such as company registration papers, license agreements and commercial contracts in order to establish presence there successfully and gain local authorities' trust - essential steps toward smooth business operations and seamless operations.
2. Cultural Significance of Attestation
South Korea places great cultural weight on document authentication. Attestation conforms with their values of integrity, honesty, and transparency - mirroring these with the moral character of individuals involved as it confirms legal authenticity as well. Such cultural appreciation for attestation builds trust within communities while strengthening interpersonal relations.
3. Facilitating International Mobility
Attestation of documents facilitates mobility across borders in our increasingly interdependent world, making travel between states simpler. Individuals studying, working or conducting business activities in South Korea often need attested documents in order to obtain visas or work permits - creating an easier process that fosters foreign investment as well as cultural exchange and knowledge transfer. This practice promotes cultural diversity as well as encouraging foreign investment opportunities and knowledge transfer opportunities.
4. Economic Implications
South korea's rapidly developing economy relies heavily on international collaborations and partnerships, including attestations as an integral component of economic exchanges. Attestation allows investors, businesses, and skilled professionals seeking opportunities in South korea to validate their credentials through this rigorous verification process; doing so ensures a qualified workforce, secure investments, promote economic development by safeguarding business transactions with integrity while supporting growth of economic activity overall.
5. Attestation in Education
Education-wise, attestation is key for South korea Embassy Attestation  students seeking higher studies abroad. Their academic qualifications must pass a stringent process for validation by foreign universities and employers - this opens doors for South korea students while strengthening the reputation of South korea educational institutions internationally.
6. The Diplomatic Significance
Attestation can also hold great diplomatic ramifications in international affairs. Bilateral agreements and treaties between nations often necessitate attested documents as part of mutual trust-building mechanisms; with South korea as one of the Middle East's main diplomatic hubs highlighting this trend even further. Attestation plays an integral part of building international cooperation among nations.
7. Family Matters:
Attestation plays a pivotal role in family matters related to immigration law in South korea, such as applying for family visas, sponsoring dependents or engaging in marriage-related transactions. Legal relationships need to be formed legally to facilitate seamless processes for families that reside here. Authenticated documents help establish these legal ties while ensuring smooth processes amongst families living here.
8. Legal Implications and Consequences
Failure to comply with the attestation requirements can lead to legal consequences. Individuals or organizations found using forged or unattested documents may face penalties, fines, or even imprisonment. This strict adherence to document verification upholds the integrity of legal processes and safeguards the rights of individuals and entities involved in various transactions.
Steps Involved in Attestation
Notarization: The first step in the attestation process is notarization. The document must be certified by a notary public in the issuing country. Notarization confirms the legitimacy of the document and the signature of the issuer.
State Authentication: Following notarization, the document needs to be authenticated by the state authorities in the issuing country. This step further verifies the validity of the document at a state level.
Legalization by the U.S. Department of State: If the document originates from the United States, it must be legalized by the U.S. Department of State. This step ensures the document's acceptance by federal agencies and foreign embassies.
South korea Embassy Attestation: After the document has been notarized, authenticated by state authorities, and legalized by the U.S. Department of State (if applicable), it can be submitted to the South korea Embassy in the issuing country. The embassy will attest the document, confirming its authenticity.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Attestation in South korea: In some cases, documents attested by the embassy need to be further authenticated by the South korea Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This step provides an additional layer of verification within South korea.
Types of Documents Requiring Attestation
Educational Documents: It includes degree certificates, diploma certificates, and other educational certificates issued by educational institutions. Attested educational documents are required for employment and higher education purposes in South korea.
Personal Documents: Personal documents include birth certificates, marriage certificates, and divorce certificates and  need to be attested for various reasons, including family visa applications and legal procedures.
Commercial Documents: Business-related or E-Commerce related documents like certificates of incorporation, invoices, and powers of attorney must be attested for commercial activities and business transactions in South korea.
Conclusion
Navigating the procedures and methods of attestation at a South korea Embassy are paramount if one plans on visiting, working, or studying there. Making sure documents meet legal requirements while offering peace of mind knowing everything is properly attested will keep both legal requirements met and provide peace of mind as you embark upon international ventures in South korea. By following steps outlined herein and understanding which documents need attesting, individuals can make this experience seamless, making international ventures in South korea seamless experiences!

Journey To The Republic Of Korea (South Korea)
My flight to Korea for a training was supposed to be at 12 nn on 08 May 2024, but the Korean Embassy hasn’t released my visa yet during that time. So our host, the Korean International Cooperation Agency, had rebook my flight to a later flight at 11:55 pm.
The Korean Embassy released my visa at 4:30 pm on 08 May 2024 and I went straight to the airport for my 11:55 pm flight… I landed at Incheon International Airport at about 5 am.
I arrived 12 hours later than my original flight. So I had to go to the lectures with only 1 hour of sleep (You all know I have airplane anxiety and I can’t sleep on planes.)… I was running on coffee on the first day of training.

Worry grows for Iran woman athlete who climbed without hijab
SEOUL, South Korea — An Iranian female competitive climber left South Korea on Tuesday after competing at an event in which she climbed without her nation’s mandatory headscarf covering, authorities said. Farsi-language media outside of Iran warned she may have been forced to leave early by Iranian officials and could face arrest back home, which Tehran quickly denied. The decision by Elnaz…

So, you lied to me? - Lando Norris x Tourist! Reader
Plot: Going on a travel year you end up in Monaco, the plan wasn't too fall for the man who helped you to the British Embassy and gave you a place to stay when someone stole everything from you ...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You took a gap year before university and decided to travel you'd started off the New Year on a flight from London, to Qatar to New Zealand. You travelled around New Zealand and Australia for the majority of January, before moving on to Papa New Guinea, Fiji and Samoa.
You then travelled round the South Asian countries, like Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines and Taiwan all throughout February. You then moved onto China, doing both Disney Parks while you were there and sight seeing. You did South Korea and Japan.
Coming into April, you moved onto Sri Lanka and India, and The Middle East, doing Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrian, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
Afterwards, now having done 2 continents, you moved onto Africa, you spent the end of April and the majority of May travelling here, before leaving for Europe.
A nice 2 weeks island hopping around Greece, before a week travelling up the boot of Italy.
It was when you drove to Monaco in a rental car that things got difficult.
You were walking along the harbor where all the expensive yachts were docked wishing that one could be yours. You didn't have all your bags on you, the larger ones left behind in the hotel room you'd booked for the night. But you had your important stuff on you, like you passport, your drivers license and all your travel documents.
You were taking a picture on your nice Canon camera of the yachts and the street that had weird red corners rounding it that you put down to being measures to just help drivers slow down round the corners, but they were definitely an eyesore.
Every time nice cars drove by there was whistles and claps that made you look at what car it was, you could never tell what model it was but they looked nice and you guess you could say sporty.
As you were distracted taking your pictures a guy comes up to you with a small, parcel cutting knife in his hand. He slit the straps of what you thought was a really sturdy bag and the weight notifies you to the loss of the bag. You let your camera drop as you turn to see the guy now holding your bag and starting to run away with it.
"Hey! Stop" you shout before running after him.
"Aide, Aide" you shout as you continue to follow him, your minimal French not helping as people scold you for being a bustly tourist.
You aren't really looking where you going and you loose him at a busy intersection of people, you spin round looking at every possible direction he could have gone in.
"Shit!" you whisper to yourself quietly tears coming in your eyes. You spin round a little to quickly, bumping into someone who drops the bag that they were holding.
"Désolé, mon erreur" you try looking at the young gentleman you'd bumped into in a hoodie and jeans. He looks at you with a confused look, a smirk coming onto his face.
"Oh sorry, tu ne parles pas français? Maybe Italian, erm fuck scusa, parli italiano?" you ask with again the bare minimum of Italian you know.
"I speak perfectly good English" he smiles, laughing a little as your expression turns to shock.
"Oh! Oh I'm so stupid. Hello!" you smile looking at the very attractive man in front of you, you blushed a little looking up at him.
"You look panicked what's wrong?" he asks.
"I was tacking pictures of the harbor and some guy took my bag. It has everything in of mine and I don't know what to do" You say to him looking a little more panicked.
"Everything as in money ... because I can help with that" he says placing a hand on your arm.
"I don't care about the money, but he has all of my documents. My passport, my drivers license everything" you cry a little.
"Oh! Erm, I have a friend who was born here, and let me get him and he can help us file a police report. Then mmm the British Embassy is all the way in Paris and you cant get a flight so we'll have to drive there..." he starts to rant and your face turned shocked.
"We?" you ask, confused as to how this guy has just inserted himself into your life drama's.
"Oh yeah, I've gotta help you out now. You got that whole damsel in distress thing going on right now! Any way damsel, what's your name?" he jokes and you look over at him offended.
"I am not a damsel in distress! And Y/N" you retort.
"You so are, the tear stains, the wide, helpless eyes, the guppy fish face your pulling right now, the butchered French and Italian to a strange man who actually is British... Y/N" he laughs making you pout and push him a little.
"I don't even have a place to stay after 3pm today and I cant check in anywhere without ID" you say rubbing your head, looking around as if the man would randomly pop back up and hand you your bag back before saying how sorry he was.
"You can stay at my place, I have two spare bedrooms" he smiles and you look at him in shock.
"You live here, in Monaco ..." you ask.
"Yeah, I moved here a few years ago, for ...work" he offers, he phones his friend walking off for a few seconds alone before he pulls you along one of the side streets and too a quiet cafe he went to, to keep under wraps.
"Okay, Y/N this is my friend ... er Percy" he says pointing to Charles, so far you hadn't shown any signs of knowing who he is and he didn't want you to catch wind of that.
"Hello Percy, its nice to meet you" you smile and he looks at you with a vacant yet confused expression.
"Oh and whose this you are beautiful" you compliment looking at the girl behind him.
"Y/N this is my girlfriend Alex" Charles indicates to Alex behind him who smiles and pulls you in for a kind hug that you definitely needed. You could hear both of their strong accents as they introduced himself.
"Oh, I never got you name, what's your name?" you ask turning to look at Lando, who freezes for a second.
"Erm, my names Robert, but you can call me Bob" he smiles and you raise and eyebrow at him.
"Hmmm, you don't look like a Robert... or a Bob. Interesting choice" you voice your opinion making everyone awkwardly laugh.
Charles, Lando and Alex took you to the nearest police station in Monaco, Charles translated what they were saying and you answered to which he and Alex would help translate back.
Charles explained that they were escalating it because you are a tourist in need, but you picked up some words that made the sentence not sound like that at all.
You were asked if you had a place to say and Lando explained you'd be staying with him until everything was sorted out.
The Monegasque police got in contact with the Paris British Embassy for you, they explained that the police had sent over you information and if you wanted to hold off on a new passport for a few days to see if it would turn up you were more than welcome, but right now your passport was on lockdown.
And that was how you ended up spending the end of July and all of August with Lando, it was strange really. For a man who had and extremely nice collection of clothes and a very large apartment he didn't go to work often. There was one room you weren't allowed in which is where he often went, you assumed it was a man cave or gaming room where he played with his friends because you heard lots of shouting and aggressive banging.
He'd been so sweet, he took you on dates from going out to dinner, to picnics, to going swimming and lots more. It felt like more than a summer fling. Especially once he asked you to be his girlfriend, which you immediately said yes too.
But he got a lot more twitchy after he had.
Eventually, Lando or Bob as you knew him took you to Paris so you could get your passport. He explained that he travelled a lot for work and he would need to leave soon and you explained that before you bumped into him you'd been on a gap year travelling the world.
"Baby, why don't you come with me?" he asked randomly as you were both lying on the sofa, cuddling while watching a film.
"You wont even tell me what you do for work Baby! And besides I had a schedule that I'm already behind on. A week ago you said you didn't mind going our separate ways for a little bit until Christmas and then you'd come to England with me" you say playing with his curls.
"Okay, I'm going to be honest with you now... my name isn't Bob" he says shyly and you sit up at the speed of light turning to look at him.
"I knew it! So you lied to me?" you exclaim laughing.
"So, what's my boyfriends actual name?" you ask looking him dead in the eyes, he leans up on his elbows before sitting the full way up.
"Lando, I am Lando Norris" he smiles.
"Hmmmm, Lando... Lando. I could get used to that" you smile.
"You aren't mad?" he asks looking over you, brushing you hair back and tucking it behind your ear before kissing your cheek.
"I knew you weren't being completely honest when we first met... but I also knew you had your own reasons" you offer.
"I think its going to be easier if I just hand you my Instagram" he admits with a gulp as he hands you his phone. The first thing you notice is how many followers he had, there was around 10million and he had nearly 2,500 posts.
You look at the friends list, and one peeks your interest. Charles Leclerc, who looked exactly like Percy who Lando had introduced you too.
You then go back and look at his bio, that told you his actual job.
"So, I'm dating a super famous athlete?" you ask looking up at him away from the phone to see his head down in his hands. He turns to the side to sneak a look at your expression, his eyes a little glossy.
"To be specific, a Formula 1 driver" you ask again and he nods.
"You are such a muppet, my god" you laugh before pulling him into a hug.
"How aren't you upset with me?" he ask unsure.
"Well, I agreed to date you, because you are you. I doubt you change into Mr Hyde when you become a what was is Porsche race-car driver? I fell in love with you, not Bob, not Lando, you. So whether that is Bob, who kindly helped a crying lady on the street who just had her passport stolen from her, or Lando a cool and amazing race-car driver. Whoever you are is the person I love" you grin and he pulls you into a hug.
"So you want to join me for the last few races? Or you want to finish this world trip of yours?" he asks.
"Well, looking at your calendar, I can actually meet you at the rest of the races, While travelling. I'll continue to do Europe until you have the Netherlands, and ill go back to Italy, just for you. I'll miss Azerbaijan and Singapore because I did that, but I'll knock out some of South America, I'll meet you for Austin, then we can do Mexico and Brazil together, then we can do Vegas together! And by that point I can call it done with my trip!" you exclaim and he looks like he considers it for a second.
He's shocked, he cant remember the last time a girlfriend tried so hard to link up their schedules like this, and proved that they'd be able to work despite some potential scheduling issues.
"I love you. I fucking love you" he grins pulling you back down onto the sofa kissing all over your face making you giggle.
A/N: I've been doing a lot of Lando recently, I don't know if you can tell but I love writing about him, he's my fav to write about right now.

The promotion of a K-pop event taking place in Israel ahead of a state-sponsored festival in South Korea has sparked outrage and calls for boycott from fans of the genre, who are accusing Seoul of "artwashing genocide".  The K-Pop World Festival, an annual Korean pop talent competition hosted by the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), is an initiative that utilises the popularity of Korean culture - commonly referred to as the "Korean wave" - to promote the country globally. Korean embassies around the world are responsible for organising a preliminary regional round, and selected finalists then make their way to the stage in South Korea. After the South Korean embassy in Israel started promoting tickets for the 15 July auditions, K-pop fans took to social media in anger and called for boycotts with the hashtags #KpopFestivalOutWithZionism and #NoToArtwashingInKpop. "Artwashing in the middle of a genocide is a new fucking low, even for KBS. Participants and guest performers will never wash off this stain," posted one user on X, formerly Twitter, referring to the use of art and artists by groups to distract from or gloss over rights violations.

finally watched watched my brothers and sisters in the north when it's been in my to-watch list for years and it was so touching and so beautiful.
the people interviewed were of course handpicked and have better conditions than other people because of the impact of U.S. sanctions and such, but it genuinely inspired me how hard-earned their good living conditions are. the farmers had to work really hard to re-establish agriculture after the war and now they get so much food a year they donate most of it to the state because they simply don't need it. the girl at the sewing factory loves her job and gets paid with 14 kilos of food a month on top of her wages. the water park worker is proud of his job because 20,000 of his people can come and enjoy themselves every day, and Kim Jong-un himself took part in designing it and came by at 2am during construction to make sure everything was going smoothly. his grandmother's father was a revolutionary who was executed and buried in a mass grave in seoul but in the dprk he has a memorial bust in a place of honor and his family gets a nice apartment in pyongyang for free.
imperialist propaganda always points to the kim family as a dictatorship and a cult of personality but from this docu it's so obvious that it's genuine gratitude for real work for the people, and simple korean respect. if my president came to my work and tried his best to make my working conditions better and to make my life better, i would call him a dear leader too. if my president invented machines and designed amusement parks and went to farms all over the country to improve conditions for the people, i would respect him.
the spirit of juche is in self-reliance, unity of the people, and creative adaptations to circumstances. the docu rly exemplified the ideology in things like the human and animal waste methane systems powering farmers' houses along with solar panels, how they figured out how to build tractors instead of accepting unstable foreign import relationships, and how the water park uses a geothermal heating system.
it rly made me cry at the end when the grandma and her grandson were talking about reunification. the people of the dprk live every day of their lives dreaming of reunification and working for reunification, and it's an intergenerational goal that they inherited from their parents and grandparents. the man said he was so happy to see someone from the south, and that even though reunification would have its own obstacles that we have the same blood the same language the same interests so no matter what if we have the same heart it would be okay.
and the grandma said "when reunification happens, come see me." and it's so upsetting that not even 10 years later, the state has been pushed into somewhat giving up on this hope. the dprk closed down the reunification department of the government last year and it broke my heart.
a really good pairing with the 2016 film is this 2013 interview with ambassador Thae Youngho to clarify political realities in the dprk and the ongoing U.S. hostility that has shaped the country's global image. the interviewer Carlos Martinez asks a lot of excellent questions and the interview goes into their military policy, nuclear weapons, U.S. violence and sanctions, and the dprk's historical solidarity with middle eastern countries like syria and palestine and central/south american countries like nicaragua, bolivia, and cuba.

Adachi's overseas transfer
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the ending where the protagonist protects Adachi but doesn't go visit him on March 20th, then on March 21st he will instead call the Dojima residence and let the protag know he's getting transferred overseas and he'll be leaving the country. Dojima's dialogue suggests this is real, as he also mentions that Adachi is also leaving today, and he is Adachi's boss and all. In Japanese, Adachi also specifies that his transfer was oh-so-sudden, last minute, abrupt, etc.
I don't take anything that happens in these new Adachi centric bad endings seriously as I feel like they're just fan service added for Golden for us Adachi fuckers (him saying his transfer was sudden also feels like Atlus is admitting they know this is silly lol), but... I also have a tendency to drive everything into the ground.
Here are some random things I found about Japanese police officers getting transferred overseas:
Anecdote from an Okayama prefectural police officer who met people and decided to apply to go overseas and went to an English speaking country where he worked at an embassy and helped deal with cases related to Japanese tourists
Article about the topic by a Japanese officer who went overseas and lived in Africa for a period of time, also working through the embassy
Yahoo Questions answer (lol) where the commenter kinda supports the above and also mentions that police officers at embassies do stuff like do security and drive around Japanese diplomats; also brings up some kind of program with America and South Korea and those being common destinations for these transfers
Overall, it seems that an overseas position is something that officers, even small town / rural officers, can apply for and potentially be selected for.
I suppose by not visiting Adachi on March 20th, the protagonist somehow created a timeline where Adachi suddenly gets transferred to work at a Japanese embassy somewhere LOL. Perhaps Adachi missed the news about the position being opened while the protagonist was burning the letter on the 20th...
Tumblr media
Amenosagiri still would've been AFK inside of Adachi at this point since it's Golden (version where Izanami's line about that exists) and Adachi never entered the TV World. Maybe Ame got bored of Inaba and somehow made the transfer happen so it could go see Hawaii. Maybe Adachi got transferred to wherever the protagonist's parents just got back from (maybe the protag and his family are getting re-transferred there lol).

“My life is not your porn” and “Deepfake is murder” — these were some of the chants heard in a mix of Korean, English, and Chinese on the night of Sept. 3 (local time), directed at the South Korean Embassy in the UK.
Over 100 people, including women from South Korea, China, Japan, and others from around the world, gathered that evening at Trafalgar Square in London. They marched from there, passing Buckingham Palace, and continued to the South Korean Embassy, calling for measures to address the ongoing deepfake sex crime crisis plaguing South Korea.
The march was organized by Chinese feminists based in London, who voiced their support for South Korean women fighting against digital sex crimes, such as deepfakes and illegal filming. Their aim was to raise awareness among women worldwide about these crimes occurring in South Korea.
In a post on their Instagram account (@weareallchainedwomen), the organizers wrote, “The illegal use of hidden cameras and deepfake technology by men to turn women’s everyday lives into pornography is not just a social issue in Korea; it is a widespread problem globally, particularly in East Asian countries.” They also said, “In China, the bravery of Korean feminists has long inspired many to awaken,” adding, “We hope to become each other’s strongest and most loyal sisters, supporting each other to overthrow the patriarchy together!”
A 42-year-old woman from South Asia participating in the march said, “I came out today because I believe in the importance of solidarity among women worldwide, who are all suffering from the effects of misogyny and patriarchy.” The woman, a youth educator and social activist, urged the South Korean government to “introduce new curricula into the education system that teach about women’s safety, online safety, digital sex crimes, the influence of the porn industry, healthy relationships, and gender roles and stereotypes.”
A 27-year-old Korean participant, who works as a documentary filmmaker in the UK, said, “I am standing in front of the South Korean Embassy with a heavy heart” and expressed hope that the “government will strongly punish the perpetrators and accomplices and seek justice for the victims.”
In Tokyo, Japan, Chinese feminists living there also held a rally in front of the South Korean Embassy on Saturday afternoon, calling for attention to the digital sex crimes crisis in Korea.

To the Pro-Palestine Protestors...
So, I've noticed that everyone has been so angry in regards to Gaza and looking at people voting for Kamala (never Trump btw) and excuse them every which way of being Zionist, colonizers, and how people don't care about Gaza.
In all honesty, I think people are missing the forest from the trees. Americans of all sides of the political left spectrum live in a place of privilege. And to be more specific, white lefties and liberals' live in a place of privilege.
When you bring up Gaza and voting, you hear a lot of white liberals crying "How can you vote for "Killer" Kamala? I'm not voting! I'm voting third party! They have to earn my vote! BLUE MAGA! BlueAnon!" Not aware that many people are scared about where the country they were born and raised are going through.
Many people have just "woken" up to the devastation that was caused from Trump's presidency after refusing to vote/voting third party in 2016. From getting rid of RvW by forcing through two Supreme Court Justices, removing Affirmative action, actively targeting trans people with horrible laws, trying to control women's bodies, targeting protections for Climate Change, the rise of incels culture (ask South Korea how bad that's going for them), the gutting of the Postal service, book burning, the gutting of pandemic response (right before COVID), turning D.E.I into the latest dog whistle. People are finally understanding the damage don't want to lose any more, especially with Project 2025 on the horizon if he wins again.
And a lot of these things often hurt minorities to a crippling degree and will hurt them if Trump wins again.
Because of this, when Kamala stepped in when Biden stepped down, people threw their weight behind her because they don't want to live in a world where Trump wins again.
On the flipside, you have Palestine.
The Israel-Palestine conflict has been ongoing for 75 years now, with the recent attack by Hamas inflaming things to a full on genocide for the Palestinian people by local colonizers, Israel, led by Benjamin "I have to fight so I don't go to prison for crimes" Netanyahu.
Many aren't aware that during Trump's four years of horror, he actually caused October 7th to happen. On December 6, 2017, President Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
In the age of the internet, people are more connected than ever to the plights of those around the world, Ukraine being one, Congo another, and Palestine, which the latter eclipsing the first two.
Israel's anger over October 7th, which many Israeli's compare to 9-11, caused them to lash out at the many innocent people of Palestine. Because of Biden's lackluster response to trying to quell the continuing of a 75 year old issue, many have taken to the streets in protest of the conditions and indignities that Palestinians have gone through.
With the threat of another Trump presidency brushing up against Palestine supporters, its caused a divide with many pointing fingers.
As a black woman, who is engaged to another woman and has a trans brother, I am deeply aware of what a Trump presidency can do and the harms that have come from it and what will come from it. I've posted plenty of articles, both writing by myself, along with those from reputable sources, going over what we can expect if Trump wins while also showing my support for Palestine and her people. I've done protests, I've donated and I do the best I can to uplift their voices.
With that said, I've recently realized that the Pro-Palestine movement has been invaded by influencers, bad faith actors, those that believe in accelerationism, and those that are deep in the Antisemitism sauce. Vultures, essentially, and what was a just case has morphed into a case that would rather see the United States and those who live there perish so that Palestine can stay alive.
So when you have a group that doesn't want their rights being taken away just after realizing how bad it's become because of one party vs a group who are protesting the rights of another, things will get a little hard.
Here's a little story.
My grandparents was part of the Civil Rights movement with my Grandfather quickly going to Vietnam in the short time they overlapped. I've heard the horror stories from them for years.
How they were beaten, hosed, bitten by dogs, called all sorts of slurs, spat on, just the absolute worse that humanity can offer. Not to mention the many lives that were lost around them.
But, because of their sacrifices, and the sacrifices of those around them, they were able to succeed in their mission and now we have civil rights for not just black people, but for all people in the united states.
Black people are aware of what our elders had to fight for and when my grandparents, people who are on the last years of their lives, heard the rhetoric Trump and his party were saying, they were horrified. It took them back to that turbulent period in their lives.
I remember shortly before Biden stepped down, my grandmother busting into tears, asking how this country could elect a monster like Trump and how he could even be in the position he is now where he could win and how all they fought for was about to be ripped from them.
I argued in the defense of Palestine, but my grandfather asked me a question. "What good is trying to fill a cup from your cup when your cup is empty?"
It was at that time I realized that despite Gaza going through the trauma and pain they were going through, I couldn't just withhold my vote because of my feelings. Because he was right. America, whether people disagree or not, influences the world. We've seen it with Civil Rights, we've seen it with Gay Marriage, we've seen it with MAGA. we do, everyone else shortly follows. It's why a lot of people despise the United States.
We're the stone and the rest of the world is the water. We cause ripples with everything that we do. and if we allow ourselves to fall to Facisim, the rest of the world will follow suit. You may think it's arrogant, but it's not. It's a factual observation of the world.
As I mentioned before, black people know what is at risk. All of us aren't voting for Kamala because she's black or because of the "Vibes." For some, that may play a part, but for the majority, we do it because we know what is at risk if Trump wins and we know who will be first to feel his dictatorship.
As much as I hate to say it, white LGB people can always return back to the closet. They are white first, and their orientation second. It would hurt them deeply to do it, especially after living free for years, but they can always hid who they are. Trans people and minorities, not so much.
We have to protect ourselves and a lot of people on the Pro-Palestine side are upset by this fact. Maya, a known pro-palestine supporter and Palestine herself, came out with two videos.
Basically calling black people (especially black woman) colonizers and to let ourselves die to uphold Palestine. She resorted to bigotry and in turn, spat in the face of many of us who not only was down with the cause, but also used our voices to defend it.
I use this as an example because this is what many of the protestors want for the American people as a whole who are terrified for the rights they are losing by telling them not to vote or vote third party.
"To hell with your worries and fears risk of losing everything wanting to save yourself! What about them?! Both sides are evil! This is 1st world problem! River to the s-"
Stop.
So many people live in a place of privilege thinking that what happened to Germany can't happen here so they feel that they can sit it out or actively hurt the only way people can fight back against Trump and his RNC rule but they literally aren't paying attention.
Every day, the RNC and the Supreme Court Trump set empowered are stripping away our rights.
I'm not saying not to care.
Protest for Gaza, donate to their causes, uplift them every chance that you can get. Because Israel is doing evil and is actively committing genocide and colonization on a group that they have hurt for so many years.
But you can't condemn people wanting and needing to protect themselves as well. Especially when you have someone who is promising to become a dictator day one. Not voting or voting third party is not an option. If we start toa grassroots option for someone third party the second the election ends, then show up four years later, then we might have a shot. But until then, we only have two choices.
Kamala.
Trump.
They are the two that will sitting as president when the election is over. and there is only one choice in order to protect ourselves.
Because Trump is in record wanting to give police immunity. He is on record wanting to deport pro-Palestinian protestors and protestors of any kind.
He already even tried a Muslim ban.
This man is evil and this is our only shot to defeat him.
Make the right choice.
I posted two videos that TL:DR my thoughts on things by two beautiful women. At least watch those.

Diplomatic missions of North Korea in European countries.
In a letter posted on the website of the People’s Communist Party of Spain last month, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, commonly known as North Korea, stated it was closing its embassy in Spain. The leaders of Angola and Uganda also received “farewell” visits from North Korean ambassadors recently, according to North Korea’s state media.
The South Korean Ministry of Reunification claims that a fourth of North Korea’s 53 diplomatic missions in the Americas, Africa, Asia, and Europe are also scheduled to close. Analysts say that the closure of these embassies is a sign that international sanctions are making it harder for North Korea to earn money.
What impact do you believe the closures will have on North Korea’s internal relations?

North Korean authorities have been punishing doctors who carry out abortions and the providers of contraceptives amid a drive by the country to boost its birth rate, according to a recent report.
Radio Free Asia cited a medical field source in the northern province of Ryanggang, which borders China, in its article. The source, who requested anonymity for their own safety, said the head of the obstetrics and gynecology department of Paegam County Hospital was put on trial for having conducted at-home abortions.
The doctor, who conducted one abortion at home that resulted in the death of the woman, was sentenced to five years in prison, according to Radio Free Asia. His trial was held in a conference room of a medical university hospital.
North Korea's fertility rate, or the number of babies expected per woman's lifetime, dropped to 1.8 births per woman last year, per estimates by the United Nations Population Fund. A fertility rate of 2.1 is considered the minimum rate necessary for a population to sustain itself over time.
An OB-GYN working at a hospital in Unhung County, another administrative unit in Ryanggang, was handed a three-year sentence. She had previously been sanctioned for illegally terminating a pregnancy in 2021.
The pair carried out the clandestine abortions at home, as many as three in a day, according to the source. The procedures reportedly cost 30,000 North Korean won ($33), equivalent to an average monthly salary and enough to buy 10 pounds of rice.
"Typically, OB-GYN doctors go to a pregnant woman's home to perform abortions in order to leave no trace, but these two doctors had set up medical equipment in their own homes," the source said.
They added that the department head in Paegam County had reached retirement age this year. The Unhung County doctor has two daughters who are middle school students.
RFA cited sources who said the government had raised doctors' salaries by a factor of 40, now ranging between $5-$11 won per month, to disincentivize earning extra money outside of their regular jobs.
Vendors of contraceptives are also reportedly being targeted, another source told the outlet.
She said she knew of two such merchants in the city of Hyesan who had their stalls seized by authorities in July. Late last month, three others were issued with heavy fines and had their booths confiscated.
These vendors were also banned from conducting business in the market ever again.
The North Korean embassy in China didn't immediately respond to a written request for comment.
North Korea banned abortions during the "Arduous March," a period of extreme economic hardship and famine that gripped the country between 1994 and 1998, with deaths ranging from hundreds of thousands to upwards of 2 million.
North Korea's demographic crunch is also a concern for its neighbors, whose policies to encourage births are so far failing to bear fruit. The fertility rate stands at 1.4 in Russia, 1.2 in Japan, 1.0 in China, 0.85 in Taiwan and 0.72 in South Korea.
However, North Korea is even more susceptible to the negative impact of the trend because of international embargoes on advanced machinery, imposed over Pyongyang's missile and nuclear weapons programs. The country therefore continues to rely more on physical labor and outdated production techniques than other countries in the region.
Late last year, in remarks during the country's fifth National Congress of Mothers, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un named the declining birthrate as one of the country's major social challenges and appealed to North Korean women to do their part to reverse the trend.

Mark my words, their next invitation will be from a Head of State somewhere - South Korea? Since they wanted to host IG?! Anyways this time around the embassy didn't bother making any clarification that this has nothing to do with the UK because Colombia isn't a CW country and also because by now everyone is well aware of their circus going around world tour.
Also have you noticed how she has a certain way of clasping her hands this whole trip? Half up, all claws in. She think she looks regal but fact is she looks like a fool with a awkward hand position.
The UK shouldn't have bothered with a comment the first time around either because no one heard it except for royal watchers. Also the comment held zero weight as it was just a throwaway statement by an individual and not binding in any way or form.
BTW the RF visits non CW countries on behalf of the UK all the time. Sophie was literally in Colombia last year. So it's a fallacy to assume that the UK/RF only need to comment when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit a Commonwealth country. It doesn't matter where in the world they go because at the end of the day, they are being treated as Foreign dignitaries by the host government while using their British titles.

baker mayfield .....................................................……………………….. 1
got7 jinyoung ................................…………………………………………... 3
bahiyyih, kep1er ..................................................………………………... 1
starting... now!
kim jiwoong, zhang hao: bond ↠ it can be better but it's really great by itself! there seems to be some shaky times from time to time but they are really adaptable when it happens, so i would say they're great friends!
how kang daniel sees jang wonyoung as a colleague? ↠ someone who values their financial independence the most, however does daniel thinks that starship doesn't give her enough money? he is also aware of her impact, he might think "if only she was in konnect..."
possibility for aespa comeback in 2023 (i am aware it was confirmed around the time i asked it) ↠ even with these cards, i would say high. since it's too early to even ask for their concept, they're defintely planning it. someone in sme wants to switch aespa's concept, so don't be suprised if we don't see .. kwangya.
will hybe/pledis add stops in europe for seventeen's upcoming (world) tour? ↠ unfortunately, no. due to inflantion and other various reasons hybe would prefer to step aside from europe, including the western part. if anything happens to be added, the situation for hybe is better. but as of now, no.
seventeen's thoughts on their teamwork, 2024 ↠ a lot worse than in 2023. could be related to their current contracts, but i have no clue. someone is really dominating here in pledis, i see..
seventeen's thoughts on their teamwork, 2025 ↠ the energy around 2024 seems to occur in 2025 too. i see delays, at its best some people from the group even leaving. it will lead to inevitable changes.
boynextdoor, 2024 career ↠ a lot better than i expected, honestly. great domestic success in my opinion, they will make it work in south korea. i don't see anything from outside of south korea as it's not their focus. 6 of cups is worrying me out, however. i am not sure if it's good to be around this time.
boynextdoor, career 2025 ↠ oh hell no, this is what i expected to see from 2024 onwards.. in 2025 there's inevitable energy for the group's destruction. if someone gets invloved in scandal from the boys, it could be riwoo or leehan. it could be sabotage towards the boy(s) because the court person next to one of the boys harms a lot. what i see is the whole group disbanding. depending on the way how it can be managed the issue one of the boys is involved, it can be managed way better to the extent one of the boynextdoor members will take hiatus or will departure from the group. the scandal can be bullying or dating one. however, since the hiatus/departure/disband energy is too strong, i am leaning towards bullying.
how han (skz) sees chaeryeong (itzy) ↠ very traditional, very fair person. also very impactful, someone with "more experience" (in training as a idol??).
does companies lie for the increase of their groups and soloists' sale numbers? ↠ yeah, some companies lie about their groups/soloists' actual sales. this is due to some sponsors such as foreign embassies, local companies and so on. however, they don't have control over it either as it looks like the sponsors personally lie about the sales' amount.
how? ↠ they all seem to bond on the artists' achievement successes (ironically, right?), so they actually LOWER the sales' amount.
will they stop doing that by their own, they will be forced to do it by the korean government or not? ↠ no, i doubt they will stop unless if k-pop's impact will desrease due to ethnical reasons.
lightsum, career 2023 ↠ quite in middle i would say = not bad, not great either.. however, the girls' first win might be on the horizon. only after then they would be a bit busier.
how mingyu sees wonyoung ↠ personally he likes the different wavelength wonyoung is in. he thinks they can match (depending on his relationship status, i'll say as a friends). he is also aware of her impact, no matter if it's literal towards him or towards their industry.
outsiders' thoughts on ive's upcoming comeback ↠ they might wanted different concept. despite that they like it, they're also aware of the impact it has, so they appreciate it and say it.
will baker mayfield's current football (not soccer) team get mayfield more success and relevance? ↠ although his current team can get him more success and relevance, he has to be cautious of his actions, he could destroy his career in one second, so he's more prone to scandals than in the past.
got7 jinyoung, general reading ↠ he is okay and energised. he might have some scratches, but despite that he's fine in the military.
got7 jinyoung, drama-on-hold check ↠ the drama will be restored , they're waiting for jinyoung.
got7 jinyoung, movie-on-hold check ↠ they will find a way to cut out yoo ah-in's role and will release it. as of now, i doubt it will be re-shot.
bahiyyih, post-kep1er career re-check ↠ she seems to be panicked of her next move. if kep1er disbands, she seems to go to hybe??? 6 of cups is there, so .. i have no clue.. alternatively, if kep1er extends their contract, she will stay there. up to that, i sense panic all over her.

I don't usually talk politics, but I can't help myself.
Freedom is dying in South Korea. It's really no different than the North Korea government. That fxxking guy was directly elected by about half the country. South Korea has had many dictatorial presidents and their collective brainwashing still has a strong influence on the older generations and it's the same for their children.
Now South Korea government is really going crazy, they're eliminating or reducing every public welfare budgets and wasting taxes on weird stuff, and now want to stop us from buying things from abroad. I'm worried about not being able to buy transformers comics and dvds, but the ripple effect this will be bigger than that. Especially people in related industries will be out of work or miserable. But they don't care, don't even consider the possibility of a trade conflict.
Of course, those idiots didn't protest properly when the Israel embassy committed a serious diplomatic fault pas by making a video of Hamas attacking Seoul. Israel blatantly ignores us, and we're supposed to side with them because we're an US ally. Screw you guys. Freedom is the right of all sentient beings. Palestine must be liberated. I am against the horrible Holocaust. May the world's dictators, deceitful powers, and war criminals be gone.
