my (probably controversial) opinions on ships

Canon:

percabeth: their relationship set the bar so damn high i want what they have 😔 10/10

jasiper: i say jasiper bc everyone argues whether or not it's jasper or jiper and it's a solid combination of the two. tbh their relationship wasn't good. like good while it lasted but if they never broke up i would've been surprised. it was also hella fake, and piper is probably gay let my girl live hera 4/10

frazel: ✨no✨ first of all (here's a side controversial opinion) i don't like frank. don't worry, i absolutely love hazel. second, that age gap? um, chile anyways 👀 sorry if you think that an eighth grader dating a junior in high school is okay, but it's a definite no for me ❤️✨ 0/10

caleo: it's cute, i like how they were a whole "destined to be together" thing and how they both believed they could never find love, but it was rushed. i have a whole long ass headcanon about how i would've done leo and calypso and their love lives better, but that's a post for another day. tbh leo's probably gay tho. the gods were nice to cal 5/10

ok y'all i feel like whenever i say villian arc there's a large group of people who don't understand what i mean or why i don't just say character arc, so here's why and what i mean by villian arc.

so when i say villian arc i mean like, their origin story. their background, how they came to be. sometimes also things that they did with their power and the execution of their plan. i do not mean character arc, which is more of the character as a whole. i'm going to use luke castellan as an example because that's really the only character i use the term "villian arc" with.

so i love his background. it was awesome seeing a side character like, a month after the prophecy had "ended" come out as the villian, that was a spicy twist. and when percy opened the sarcophagus and saw lukes body? immaculate, soul left my body. and don't even get me started on his mom, that was insane. but luke as a character and person? what character arc did we see besides him becoming the villian in tlt, which is (to me) a whole other category, as i have just explained.

so, what was his character arc? what did he do? murder a bunch of innocent children? seduce and fall in love with even more children?? (friendly reminder he is a legal adult throughout the entire series (19-23)) and yeah, he did admit to not wanting to do what he was doing, but that was about the murder, not the pedophilia. and even so, the murders were too big of a thing to be forgiven. and his final thing done in his life? taking the knife? destroying kronos? no, confessing his love for a child. fan-fucking-tastic, but no✨💕. how the hell he made it to elysium, i will never understand.

so when i say that i like his villian arc, i mean i think it's awesome how we got to see his motives and i like some of those spicetastic plot twists. i also like how he was in the right and just had poor execution, but that's probably because it reminds me of my band directors thinking they're gonna put out a good show with a spicy theme, and then trash our season (rip the rona band 2019 even though we miraculously got third at state). do i like him as a person though? hell no bitch, that's nasty.
