"The Furnace"
"Facing a full set of blackened armour, flames burning from within, and going by the moniker of "The Furnace", people often assume they are dealing with some form of construct. A useful misconception when elementals are generally considered resources and genasi mostly unheard of."
Another older piece, this one originally from 2021 or so.
"The Furnace" is the alias of a fire genasi that I've been playing in an Eberron D&D campaign since early 2021. She was initially designed all the way back in 2019 or 2020 if I recall correctly.
Probably the character I've painted the most over the last few years, so I'll likely be posting more art of her in the future.

Just Shadowheart and her radiant hula-hoop and spectral halberd taking a stroll through the waves of undead.
...she's growing on me, I'll admit 😄

Spiritual Weapon
When you’re a tempest cleric with the Winged Mother as your goddess and patron. The Spiritual Weapon released takes a form of a bird of thunder and lightning!
Had our first sessions this Friday, and while we didn’t get any major combat in I did manage to roll a -1 for an investigation roll which had me roll over laughing. I am excited for more and releasing this storm of a boy to the world.

I had the utmost joy of running a one-shot for a few new dnd players along with my brother and as always, @timthewhite.
Left to right we have Malda Goodbarrel the halfling rogue, Hazel Deerling the elven cleric, Diana Toffee the half-elf bard, and Dibbs the kobold druid (circle of the moon).
They had an interesting time finding their way out of a strange forest and an even stranger village.

If Dawnbringer could remain lit without being in Enilasor's hand, and she uses spiritual weapon to make a whip and wrap it around the hilt to make the sword float, could it be considered a familiar at that point, acting on its own, or no, since you control where the weapon goes?
We've established that Enil's SW is corporeal enough to throw people in the air, act as partial cover, and shield bash people. So wrapping a whip-shaped SW around something wouldn't be impossible, and weight wouldn't be a problem either since she can catapult allies.
Task 1 for the day, pester DM about mechanics and if the sword remains lit without touching her.

I love chenqing. fuckass evil flute that everyone hates. somehow considered more dangerous than the literal magic swords everyone else has. supposedly made of bamboo but wei wuxian was out there whacking people with it on the battlefield. it's a vessel to channel dark and fucked up magic, but it was also a toddler's favorite teething toy. it's great.
