Thinking about “I Want To Unify The Kingdom But The Second Male Lead Is Too Indecent” again. Thoughts on how it’d play out:
The first episode starts with Bridget and Dick at the office, establishing her as competent but ignored and him as a half-joking, self-loathing sex pest. Around the halfway point, they both get hit by a truck while crossing the road and wake up in the fantasy kingdom (does it have a canon name? I’m gonna call Decentia) as Princess Bridgeton and Lord Dickington. Lord Daleton shows up and quickly becomes the only person either of them tell about their original situation.
Bridget and Dick don’t actually realize they’ve both been Isekai’d together until about halfway through season 1, at which point they finally put two and two together. Bridget is mildly horrified that the dignified Lord she’d been relying on for stability was Dickhead Dick this whole time, while Dick is just happy to have SOMEONE who relates to not being either a medieval fop or Daleton.
The big reveal of the season one finale is that most if not all of the kingdom’s characters seen across the season, from the major supporting cast to the extremely minor background staff, have at some point between the pilot and now ALSO been swapped with their Massachusetts counterparts, mostly within the span of the first few episodes. The entire second season is just trying to piece together what the fuck to do about this.
Bridget is throughout Seasons 1 and 2 torn between absolutely despising Daleton and genuine attraction (because annoying though he may be, he seems to mean well and IS genuinely hot), while also coming to see Dick in a new light and genuinely appreciating him as a person for the first time ever. For his part, Dick has been into Bridget since before the truck accident, and while he is generally annoyed by Daleton’s antics and indecency, he shows JUST enough tolerance towards him that a good portion of the fandom ships the pair. Eventually a small but substantial part of the fandom ships the three together in the classic ProZD Love Triangle solution.
(Season 5 ends up technically making that canon, so polyshippers stay winning)
Daleton is consistently a slutty bisexual disaster throughout the show, right up to the very end, but he is shown to have SOME genuine leadership skills and does actually want to help everyone, hence why Bridget keeps him around. He’s the kind of character who spends most of each episode being useless and fan service focused, but then always has one useful insight that manages to help turn the whole episode’s conflict on its head.
Not everyone who got isekai’d into Decentia has an identical appearance to their Massachusetts form or a [Name]ton name, but there are a few as foreshadowing for the Season 1 plot twist.
Season 3 focuses on the real Princess Bridgeton and Lord Dickington, who wake up in the hospital and immediately piece together that they’re each from Decentia. They’re the first characters from the Kingdom to make the transition, and they realize what’s going on with everyone switching over significantly faster than Bridget and Dick.
The first sign that something seriously fucky is going on in Season 3 is when “Dale Kingston” shows up and applies for a job at the end episode 2. Bridgeton and Dickington immediately recognize him as lord Daleton, but he denies this, and we the audience know that Daleton was basically the only major character to NOT know anything about Massachusetts in Season 2, which raises the question of if he’s just this universe’s counterpart or if something more is going on.
As more and more Decentians end up at Big Dick’s in Massachusetts, they begin taking over the company and, slowly but surely, the small town of Decent, Massachusetts (halfway between Boston and Springfield, just take I-90 and turn off at the giant pants sign, you can’t miss it).
In Massachusetts, Dale is mostly similar in behavior to Daleton, but slightly less indecently dressed and completely able to keep his pants up. This is because in Massachusetts, you can just buy pants at a store and don’t need a personal tailor who was originally really gay and inappropriate and then by episode 4 was replaced by an IT worker with a CompSci degree.
Season 3 ends with a portal being formed between Big Dick’s corporate office (where Dickington has just defeated the CEO Richard Parker in hand to hand combat) and the castle of Decentia (where Bridget and Dick have been panicking because Daleton has been missing all day). Then Dale shows up, and all chaos breaks loose.
Season 4 goes about as described in the Drawfee episode: they realize that their realities are collapsing and merging together, it becomes clear that Dale/Daleton has secretly (and unintentionally) been the lynchpin of this collapse the whole time, and eventually the Kingdom (which has semi-officially annexed Decent, Massachusetts) is unified with the goal of killing him. However, Bridget and Dick are both quietly opposed to the plan (Dick because he recognizes Dale could still be a “decent” human being, and Bridget because at this point she’s low key in love with him).
It becomes clear across Season 4 that Daleton really didn’t have any idea originally that he was somehow drawing the two universes together, he went to Massachusetts through a portal to try and figure out what was going on with the Isekais, and his indecency has more or less been out of his control this whole time. The fanbase is somewhat divided on the question of whether or not killing him is the right thing to do.
Season 4 ends with Daleton seemingly killed, the universes mostly going back to how they were before the series started (Princess Bridgeton and Lord Dickington are back in control of the Kingdom, the employees at Big Dick’s are all back in Massachusetts), but Bridget mysteriously missing. The last shot of the season is Bridget’s bedroom back home, with the camera panning around to reveal one more portal.
Season 5 is still pretty much just porn, but like a quarter of every episode is dedicated to either developing the plot, world building for the sex dimension, or genuinely well written character development. So you can’t even skip to the important or good episodes, you have to watch all of them (you can usually skip the sex scenes, if you want, though. They are still 3/4ths of each episode).
About two thirds of the pre-existing fanbase are actually really into the fifth and final season: partially because it is still beautifully animated, incredibly well acted, and (during the important quarter) impeccably written…but also partially because the show was always hornier than your average isekai, so its fanbase did kinda follow suit. A third of them still absolutely hate it and the internet kinda explodes into arguments about it, though.
The creators fully realize there is no going back after Season Five, so that’s the only season of the show to not end on a cliffhanger. Instead, the plot is resolved, the multiverse is saved, and Bridget, Dick, and Daleton retire to a pocket dimension of the sex dimension where they can live out the rest of their days in peace. It’s a surprisingly wholesome and happy ending, ignoring how incredibly nasty some of the smut in the rest of the season was.
“Season Five” becomes internet shorthand for a show completely self-sabotaging and self-destructing for years afterwards, to the point most new anime for the next half a decade is capped off at four seasons.
The fifth season does however reveal that Dick/Dickington is bigger than Daleton, so that’s cool.
#Drawfee#i want to unify the kingdom but the second male lead is too indecent#tw: swearing#tw: sex mention#this is the craziest shit I think I’ve ever written and I didn’t even come up with half of it

VHS 'Screenshots of ' Wakko's Springfield Score 3
"Come see the Warners and the Simpsons family as you've never seen them before! This Saturday on April 1! Only on Fox!" a proposed tagline. I honestly could have waited until it was actually April 1st, but I'll be out of town and away from a computer on that date.
These are more recovered, totally not fake, screenshots from a lost crossover special of Animaniacs and Simpsons made circa 1996. It was canceled mid production due to unknown production issues, and totally not by an artist who wanted to have another go at creating VHS screen captures again. No, it's not based on a crossover fanfic I still never got around to writing.
Okay, it is. Again. For the third time.
Since everyone seemed to like the last ones I did: More VHS 'Screenshots' Wakko's Springfield Score by ReggieJWorkshop on DeviantArt
I figured I'd do some more. I had honestly planned on doing more much sooner since I had gotten further along with writing the actual story. But I ended up catching writers block midway. I still plan on finishing it one of these days...
To recap from the last post, the story behind this would have been a AU crossover fic where Yakko and Wakko Warner are former street hustlers turned detectives who team up with Wiggum PI and Skinny Boy Skinner.
What followed would be a series of hijinks; Wakko's bumpy relationship with Krusty; an entertainer who is on the run after being framed for a serious crime, The Wanrer Brothers searching for their missing Warner sister, who happens to get tied with the Springfield Mafia, and a few other familiar faces appear.
As you can see, the story would be goofy as far as plot goes but definitely darker and dramatic as far as tone goes. Lots of action, mystery, and definitely some slapstick violence.
These shots along with the corresponding quotes ( from top left to bottom) give more insight into the TV special that was never meant to be. Or it will raise way more questions than answers.
Wiggum PI: "...Okay boys, how bout we make a quick pit stop at Moe's Tavern?"
Yakko: "Ooh I've always wanted know what a seedy bar is like! How about you treat us for helping you take on those mafia goons last night?"
Skinny Boy: "No way, Im not getting a mai tai for a minor!"
Dot: "Oh, Tony..."
Fat Tony: "I believe our new associate has already told you she hates being called Dottie"
Mobster:"Ididn'tsayDottie,IsaidDot! Dot! Dot! Dot!"
All three Warners: "Come on!"
Wakko: "Say the line!"
Wakko: "Sorry, old habits die hard. No hard feelings, Huh Krusty?
Blown up Comic Book Guy: "Worst crossover ever!"
Krusty: "I can't feel anything..."

Gun companies and their reputations
hello murder drones fans! here's a random idea i wanted to post. as we know, people love making fankids. especially with Uzi, and with uzi, people are going to want to name their fankids after guns. ive already seen it, and I understand it. its sick as hell!
however, these are gun companies were talking about, and the gun industry does actually have loads and loads of drama. some of these companies also do not have your best interests in mind. I personally, would not name my son after a gun company with a systemic sexual harassment lawsuit against it, or from a company that fucks over its customers.
Im gonna be compiling a list of gun companies with names that could be used as names for a person, and giving some background on the company and their standing in the market. I'll try to make it alphabetical, and if you see any other company names you want me to add and give insight on, I'll add it with an edit.
Lemme know if i get anything wrong as well! I'm writing most of this down from memory over my experiences with these guns and companies
Armalite - I suppose you could use this as a name?? They used to be owned by Fairchild Corp, and made the first versions of the Ar-15 for the US military, before selling the design to Colt for mass production. The AR-15 was originally designed as full auto btw. the M16 is an Ar15, not every Ar15 is an M16. They make guns still, but they're a far cry from the original Armalite. I haven't heard of anything bad about them particularly.
Beretta - The oldest still standing gun company on the planet, they are almost 500 years old now. They've made derivatives of the Walther P38 for about a century now, also known as the Beretta 92 or M9, and they make sporting and combat shotguns, as well as some newer stuff like the APX striker fired pistols and CX4 carbines. When NFTs were all the rage, they tried to cash in on it with some virtual photos of guns that were worth fake money. It didn't go well, and Beretta support isn't known for responding to customer support emails. Their 92 series of pistols are dead reliable though, just chunky.
Brugger & Thomet - They make good guns, but they're all so ridiculously expensive that it's not worth it at all. They make a lot of popular suppressors, and as a company is reported to pay very well.
Colt - Recently bought out by CZ, Colt is one of oldest American gun companies. They were known for producing the 1911 designed by John Browning, and the AR-15 by Eugene Stoner and Jim Sullivan. Colt did not design the Ar-15, that was Stoner and Sullivan at Armalite when the Airforce requested a new rifle because the M14 was dogshit. Colt made AR-15s for a long time before FN Herstal made a better version (The M16A4, and later the M4) that met the military's needs. Colt has very little drama that's notable, but in the 80s-90s they made the All American 2000, which was called a bad gun in retrospect by every youtuber on the planet. The gun worked perfectly fine, it was reliable, it just has a very long and heavy trigger.
CZ - Mentioned because of its clones and their names. Originally owned by the Czechoslovakian government, before being split off into a private company, they make some modern looking pistols, the CZ-75 and modern sporting derivatives, as well as assault rifles, sporting shotguns, and some bolt action rifles. There's nothing much of note, other than that CZ fans will absolutely have to let you know they're a CZ fan. They're guns are pretty fine, and ive never heard of any reliability issues. the CZ-75 is also a gun thats been used as a base for other companies guns such as IWI's Jericho 941 and Baby Desert Eagle, Tanfoglio's clones, SAR's clones, B&T's Mark 2, the Armalite AR-24, the Springfield P9, the Sphinx SDP- Actually, here's a chart of how many CZ-75 clones there are, its MASSIVE. People love copying this gun. Dont buy a clone, just get a CZ-75.
Franchi - A long time ago they made the LF-57 SMG, and they made the SPAS-12 shotgun. They were bought by Beretta and Beretta discontinued the SPAS-12 so that Beretta could sell their combat shotguns to police and military instead. Franch makes hunting and sporting shotguns now. The Spas-12 was never a good shotgun because it was ridiculously heavy and chunky, and loading it was a pain in the ass compared to other shotguns that dont need locked loading gates.
Glock - They make exactly one gun in over 31 different configurations. These things are used by everyone and the only reason one is going to malfunction is if you stick aftermarket parts in it. This is the safest gun you could possibly buy, but they fit some people's hands badly. This is like the default price for a gun at 550 USD
Heckler and Koch (HK) - They make the MP5, UMP, G36, HK416, USP, and VP9. They're kinda overpriced and over hyped. The MP7 is a bad gun btw
Kel-tec - (I suppose you could use "Kel") Someone take the crack away from their engineers. They make cheaper guns that are sometimes the absolute best thing on the market (CP33), and other times just a very weird product that doesn't make sense to exist (PR57).
IWI/IMI - The gun company sorta owned by the state of Isreal, their one claim to fame is the Uzi, made by Uziel Gal, who was supposedly kind of an asshole. Every gun they made afterwards was licensed, they just make stuff for the isreali military, and sell stuff to the US too. They make an Ar-15 clone called the "ZION-15". Let that sit in your mind before you buy something from them. They also make the Uzi Pro, which is a micro uzi pistol, with a plastic receiver to make it cheaper to manufacture than the original Uzi's. Its really ugly, overpriced, and you're better off buying a Mac 10 from Masterpiece Arms. IWI used to make the Desert Eagle, before Magnum research started making everything in the USA instead of licensing it to Isreal. Magnum Research is owned by Khar Arms now.
2025-01-26: I forgot, but I was intending to mention IWI because of their gun names, the Uzi, the Galil, and Jericho
Khar Arms - There is nothing to say about this company, I believe they only stay in business because of the Desert Eagle. They make some basic pistols that actually look unique, but there's nothing else, I would assume their guns are reliable at least.
Kimber - A company that was so dogshit at making the 1911, that everyone from Boomers to Zoomers knew not to buy their products. Supposedly they're starting to get out of their rut, and they make some pretty looking 1911 pistols.
Sturm Ruger - American gun company where the owner was actually a bit of a dick and liked to comply with gun restrictions, and supported magazine capacity restrictions. Its likely why the Ruger 10/22 and Mark pistols only held 10 rounds until Ruger as a company started making 25 round stick mags for the 10/22. They also made the Mini-14 which is a smaller version of the M14. Its not that good, but its used frequently against the Ar15 in bad legality arguments. All of their current products are pretty reliable and affordable, besides the previous CEO's opinions, they're a decent company.
Sig Sauer - DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY. This is not even about the moral issues like with IWI, SIG SAUER USA GUNS ARE NOT SAFE. Sig Sauer USA is a completely seperate company from the old German Sig Sauer, and the Swiss SIG. Sig now makes containers, Sig Sauer Germany was closed down because they kept trafficking arms, and Sig Sauer USA is now owned by Ron Cohen, who has not been able to answer why their P320s keep shooting randomly. Their products are notoriously unreliable, of poor quality, using parts usually made in 3rd world countries in order to be cheaper, and they had a lawsuit against them for an old women who was constantly sexually harassed by her supervisor at the USA factories. Their MCX rifles and SMGs are known to break randomly, the Cross had a safety issue where the gun could fire upon closing the bolt, the SPEAR has barrel mounting issues where with only your bare hands, could BEND the barrel mount side to side. They are an awful company and have nothing to do with the old Sig 550 rifles and P226 or P210 pistols that were actually decent, if a bit outdated. Bad company, bad to mediocre guns. There are huge rumors that Sig Sauer USA is in bed with some higher ups in the US Military, as Sig won the contract for the military's new service pistol, new service rifle, new service beltfed machine gun and for service ammunition production. Fudd Blasters and Protraband on youtube have made videos on them, explaining in detail what is bad about them. Their guns aren't even that revolutionary or anything, they're just cheap.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSlleZOxy9g
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RIvHsZZ9ho
Smith & Wesson - Based in the US, they chase police contracts mainly. Their guns are actually pretty dang good, priced decently, although they mainly chase whatever other companies are doing. I personally wouldn't buy from them because they support the police so much.
Springfield - The Springfield armory that exists now is not that same Springfield armory that the US Government owned for producing guns. Springfield now is known for importing guns of dubious quality and function from Croatia. They used to import/make clones of HK G3 rifles, poorly. They paid a bunch of shills a while back when they brought in the VHS-2 rifle into the US to call the gun a really good product, but the gun was found out to be very mediocre and the shills were selling their guns after making reviews to bank on the artificial market.
Taurus - Before they started making their own G2 and G3 pistols, they got their entire name for copying Beretta pistols and S&W revolvers, cheaply. The G2 and G3 are affordable pistols that are actually very reliable, and thus are usually owned by people in poor situations. There's not much wrong about them as a company, besides making the Taurus Judge.
Walther - German company who made uhm, various, guns for a certain... Political party during the first half of the 1900s (Similar to BMW), they almost exclusively make sporting and defense pistols now. The Walther P99 and PDP pistols are very good, and they make various Olympic style pistols and rifles for professional shooting like the GSP Expert. 100 years ago, we would be calling them the enemy, but currently they make guns for civilians and while they do sell the PDP towards police, I can't think of any notable use it has. The Walther P99 was extremely popular with police in the 90s though, and it's silloette is used on "No guns allowed" signs frequently.

Mary L. Trump at The Good In Us:
Donald Trump loves violence, especially when it’s committed on his behalf. It makes him feel powerful in a way only humiliating other people can. He knows that violence begets violence; fear begets fear; rage, rage, and so forth. He revels in his ability to set fires that spread—except, of course, when they jump the line. On Saturday, there was another alleged assassin attempt on Donald (the second in two months, which itself practically beggars the imagination) at his golf club in West Palm Beach. It was only a couple days before this that Donald refused to condemn the bomb threats, school evacuations, and general sense of terror in Springfield, Ohio that he and his running mate have unleashed by their vicious targeting of Haitian immigrants who live and work there. He claimed without conviction that he didn’t know anything about it. And then he doubled-down on his baseless attacks, as he always does. Two more Springfield elementary schools had to be evacuated on Monday morning.
This kind of development is nothing new; it is, indeed what life in Donald Trump’s America has become over the last nine long years. Threats of violence and actual violence from the right are now a regular part of our political discourse and behavior—Donald makes sure of that on an almost daily basis. He is the primary proponent and promulgator of it—it was only a matter of time before he became its target, too. In the early days of his 2016 campaign, my uncle encouraged his rally-goers to assault protesters and claimed that “when the looting starts, the shooting starts,” as if that was either an accurate description of what was unfolding or a reasonable response to protests with which one disagreed.
Before and during the assault on the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, Donald encouraged and stoked violence and people listened. Others listened to his anti-immigrant hatred, his racism, and his anti-Semitism as well, like the gunman who killed 23 in El Paso simply because they had brown skin, or the one who killed 11 Jews at the Tree of Life Synagogue. The man who broke into Nancy Pelosi’s home looking to murder her, attacked and assaulted her husband, Paul, with a hammer almost killing him. Donald has since made Paul Pelosi the butt of his jokes, much to the delight of his rally attendees.
This is the America Donald Trump is rooting for. Whether from violence inspired by his rhetoric or doctors’ failures to give pregnant women health care when they’re bleeding out, people are dying. And if we don’t change course, people will continue to die. Every day Americans pay the price while Donald sets the world on fire with his provocations and then spends the day playing golf, completely insulated from the chaos he sows—until this summer. We know he won’t change—there is no new tone, no evolution in his future or ours. He has no self-awareness, no insight to himself and he believes that the only way to maintain his grip on power is to keep us divided, angry, and afraid.
Mary L Trump’s latest Substack piece on Donald Trump claiming to be a “victim” when he is the perpetrator for division in America is on point.

did you plan to write stegen's injury into lfts? just wondering because some of the story really aligns with real events :)
Hi! No, definitely not haha. When I outlined the story back in July/August, I knew that eventually, a goalkeeper would either have to retire or get injured for Pedri and Unai to "have" a conversation about whether either character would leave their club.
Initially, I had planned to introduce Kepa Arrizabalaga into the story and give him an injury. In a way, I sort of regret integrating Marc ter Stegen's injury instead of making up one for Kepa because Kepa is Basque, played for Athletic, is about the same age as Unai, and was one of most expensive goalkeepers ever. He parallels Unai a lot more and it would've been a great way for Unai to ponder his place in the team. And it would contrast really well with Unai since Kepa, I believe, activated his release clause while Unai currently has no release clause.
But, on the other hand, having ter Stegen injured makes the story "realistic" and also allows more insight into Pedri as a character. Basically, each option had their pros/cons.
There are several moments/instances in the story where I planned to have a plot point with a side character and I ended up integrating a real life event:
Initially, it was Gorka who was engaged/going to marry. When David Raya announced his engagement, I changed that detail.
Hector Fort was going to get an arm injury, but then Marc Bernal tore his ACL. This was just me choosing one of the Barça kids as a sacrifice, getting sad, and then watching Bernal get injured in real time and then having to switch that detail. 😭
When this story was initially planned, I wanted both Unai and Pedri's perspectives, so I planned for Gavi to come back earlier. But then I dropped that idea and kept his character's timeline with Gavi's actual recovery timeline.
I was going to have Pedri do a photo shoot with limited edition Barça merch for those sections where Unai is, er, fascinated, with Pedri's pictures. But then I later learned that he has a collaboration with Springfield. That was a relatively easy detail to rewrite compared to the others.
But these changes could only happen in the middle of the story. At this point, now that we're closer to the end, there will be fewer parallels. 👀🙂↕️
Thank you for such a great question. Sorry for such a long response, oops. 🍃
#ask#anon#answered#fic: longing for the shore#I think after 21 there are not as many parallels at all tbh because the story has to end how I planned it so#Which hopefully people aren't too mad about#But the ending is already done and I can't change it welp#:')

SONG OF THE WEEK “For What It’s Worth” https://johnnyjblairsingeratlarge.bandcamp.com/track/for-what-its-worth-live-9-02...I’ve been a fan of Buffalo Springfield since I was a kid. “Bluebird” was one of the first 45s in my record collection. I also saw the landmark TV broadcast of them doing “For What It’s Worth” on the Smother Brothers Show. So many Buffalo Springfield records remain as my favorites: For the song craft, band chemistry, visionary production values, and so on. However, I was never motivated to cover any of their music till after I heard The Staple Singers do a funky-gospel remake of “For What It’s Worth,” and from there I put my own slide on it (my live recording reached #1 on iTunes). “FWIW” is classified as a quintessential protest song, addressing social turbulence in the 1960s (particularly the Vietnam War), echoing Biblical prophecy with Orwellian insight. However, that may be an overstatement. Stephen Stills recounts writing it in November 1966 as a specific reaction to unrest between law enforcement and young club-goers on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. In keeping with the times, it became Buffalo Springfield’s first hit single, but the message and the vibe still apply.

Happy Birthday singer Maggie Reilly, born in Glasgow September 15th 1956.
Maggie’s professional career began in 1970 when she recorded her first single ‘Imagine Me’. Shortly after, she met keyboard player Stuart MacKillop and formed the band “Joe Cool” and later "Cado Belle". In the mid-seventies they swiftly transformed from an insider act into a Scottish pop phenomenon.
After a time living and working in Ireland, Maggie Reilly formed her much acclaimed partnership with Mike Oldfield in 1980, producing such great songs as ‘Moonlight Shadow’, ‘To France’ . "Foreign Affair" and the Hall & Oates hit ‘Family Man’ for which she received an ASCAP writers-award in 1984. Worldwide hit albums include "QE2", "Five Miles Out", "Crises", "Discovery" and "Earth Moving"
After parting with Oldfield and taking time out to start a family, Maggie Reilly resumed her solo career and awards came with increasing frequency. She joined forces with the major German publishing house Mambo, producing the Album ‘Echoes’ in 1991 for which she wrote the massive worldwide hit ‘Everytime we Touch’ alongside the European hits ‘Wait’ and ‘Tears in the Rain’. The album went gold in several countries.
1996 saw the first of three albums for EMI, ‘Elena’ was a move away from the breezy pop songs of the Mambo period towards a more insightful songwriting style as shown on the atmospheric title track.
There and Back Again in 1998 gave Maggie a chance to re-record a selection of her best known songs to that date, including ‘Everytime We Touch’ & ‘Foreign Affair’.
The release of ‘Starcrossed’ two years later picked up the threads from Elena and provided more evidence of her subtle songwriting skills, particularly on the stunning single ‘Adelena’ (including an electrifying guitar solo by Chris Rea) and the beautiful ‘Half-light’
In 2003 Maggie Reilly took the opportunity to record an album of songs she’d long wanted to sing. ‘Save it for a Rainy Day’ was the first album recorded by Maggie to provide a download hit with the achingly beautiful Cyndi Lauper song ‘True Colors’ as well as other great classic songs by James Taylor, Chicago, Dusty Springfield, Neil Young and Heart.
2006 saw the return to her Scottish roots with the release of ‘Rowan’. This is an album of original songs, mixed seamlessly with traditional Scottish and English folk songs with the Reilly twist. The album won her much praise.
Maggie has had the opportunity of working with some fantastic musicians including her longstanding musical collaborator, Stuart Mackillop, who has now contributed to all of her albums since that first Cado Belle album in 1976.
2013 saw Maggie Reilly releasing her 10th album “Heaven Sent” to great success. Both singles “Juliette” and “Cold The Snow Clad Mountain” hit the airplay Top 20 in Germany while the album itself is hailed to be her best so far. A tour followed where Maggie played at sold out venues and festivals.
Maggie is due to perform a gig onight in Noventa di Piave a town in the Venice area of Italy, she is alos lined up for a 7 night tour of Germany, where she remains popular, the tour is in the last week in Fbruary.
Here she is at Dino Top Festival in Poland earlier this year
