I watched Star Wars for the very first time last night…

and I really enjoyed Episode IV: A New Hope! The sets were very imaginative and I see so many similarities with Star Trek and Lord of the Rings characters. In all, a fun space adventure that’s rightfully called a classic.

November 21, 2000: The original Star Wars Trilogy is re-released on VHS.

This is the last VHS release of the original trilogy and the last home video release of the 1997 special edition versions of the films as they would be modified once again for the trilogy's DVD release a few years later.

As for bonus features, the first tape contains a 10 minute mini documentary titled Episode II: The Saga Continues, which highlights the early production of the second prequel trilogy film as well as a promo for the Star Wars website (which is also featured on the other tapes).

Apparently, according to some whiny troll on Twxtter, giving established female characters major speaking roles in Star Wars is "too woke".

Guess this means that Princess Leia can't smuggle out those Death Star plans any more...now what? 😐🤔
