Gabriel Iglesias –Wind Creek Event Center – Bethlehem, PA – August 10, 2023
Gabriel Iglesias recently hit the stage in Bethlehem for the Don’t Worry Be Fluffy Tour, along with some friends.
Set right near the steel stacks, the stage was ready for a great night of comedy. The arrangement made it feel like Iglesias was cracking jokes in your living room rather than on a stage. It instantly got everyone in the mood for a good time.
Iglesias's comedy routine was a mix of relatable stories, hilarious everyday observations, and his take on the common things we all go through. His transitions from one topic to another were very smooth and his timing was on point. From stories of his childhood antics to poking fun at modern life's absurdities, he had the crowd hooked.
What made the night truly special was Iglesias's interaction with the crowd. He had a very easy-going style that made it feel like he was just making jokes with his friends. He riffed off the audience's reactions, turning them into punchlines and making each moment feel spontaneous and genuine.
The pacing of the show was great. It was like a rollercoaster – with high-energy moments followed by brief pauses that gave everyone a chance to catch their breath. The laughter was contagious.
Gabriel Iglesias's comedy show at SteelStacks was definitely a great show. His relatable humor, storytelling chops, and ability to connect with the audience turned it into an unforgettable night. After the show, I caught up with comedian Martin Moreno to do a short photo shoot. He was extremely kind, even stopping to take photos and talk to fans around us. Martin stated that after over 20 years of performing that stepping on the stage never gets old.
If you're looking for a fun night out, I definitely recommend catching Gabriel Iglesias’ Don’t Worry Be Fluffy Tour.

Reggae and Reggae Music Therapy
Music therapy employs music as a powerful tool to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and boost mood. Music therapy has utilized reggae music and Rebelution to promote health and build community. On T-shirts and coffee mugs along with cutesy household decor that is sold in mass-market stores on home decor, the word "good positive vibes" appears. It's a mantra for a society that is obsessed with positive thinking as a way of life. Rebelution
youtube
Rebelution is a Californian reggae group that is hard to define, has achieved success by combining pop-infused music with breezy alt rock and hip-hop with an edgy groove. Since the release of their debut album Courage to Grow in 2007 their fan base has grown exponentially. Bright Side of Life, their 2009 album, was atop the Reggae Album Chart. This resulted in performances at major European festivals such as Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza. In the Moment In the Moment, their seventh full-length album, which was released in 2021, as a collaborative effort between Easy Star Records and NYC The album showed a growth in their style of music. Collaboration with producer Amp Live (formerly of Zion I) produced a music that is soulful, uplifting, and reminiscent of the golden era of reggae music from the latter part of the 70's. "Old School Feeling" The danceable and energetic track that is a tribute to the legendary reggae sound of. The single was featured on numerous playlists across DSPs and has racked up more than 1.5 million streams in the first few weeks following the album's release. Tropidelic, a rising star from Cleveland, OH is also included on the album. The lyrics of the song remind you to stay true to yourself, and be yourself in your own adventure. Space Kamp After three years of touring and gaining a cult following of devoted "Kampers," the genre-bending duo Space Kamp have fine-tuned their musical style and released their sophomore album Electric Lemonade. The 10-track album takes listeners on an audio journey, mixing Psychedelic soundsscapes with Hip Hop and Reggae, and firmly pursuing the purpose of breaking rules and spreading love. Juno Award winner Rob the Viking from Swollen members/XL The Band produced and engineered the album. The Pennsylvania band releases the music video for their hit single "Girl Like You." The song is an appealing story, mellow vocals, and melodious tunes featuring live instruments that are scented in alternative reggae scents. The song's likable melody reminds us to look to the bright side and keep fighting through. Space Kamp have performed all across America and helped produce One Earth Reggae Fest, Bethlehem, PA. They have also a loyal cult fan base of "Rebel Hippies" who follow them on their tour from one city to another. Space Kamp's positive vibes, conscious lyricism, and livestreaming will be bringing to outdoor venues, remote social gatherings, as well as to this upcoming Juicebox Session as well as other livestreaming. The duo will perform on July 5 at Levitt SteelStacks. It's a show sponsored by Lehigh Valley Health Network. California Roots Music & Arts Festival Despite being delayed twice due to COVID, the festival will be back in 2019 with a larger line-up than ever before. The festival also partnered up with non-profits to raise funds for causes that are aligned with its brand. No matter if you're new to reggae or a veteran, this festival is a great place to experience the best in reggae music. After an extended weekend of entertainment, it was time for Rebelution to perform on the Bowl Stage. The crowd was in awe when they sang and swayed to the beat. The crowd was amazed by their dubstep twist. In their performance, Tash Sultana's soulful voice radiated through The Bowl. A one-man band, she entertained the crowd with guitars, keyboards and instruments such as trumpet, mandolin and flute. Her insane talent and cool attitude kept people talking about her performance all weekend long! The Boomroots Collective, a reggae group from Santa Fe in New Mexico is an award-winning band. They seamlessly blend the laid-back grooves of reggae, with the power of rock and the hip hop's ability to lyrically express themselves. Their music is a way to speak about social issues, personal experiences and an appreciation for the power of resilience and a sense of unity. They are not afraid to challenge the boundaries of music and their genre-blending style has earned them many awards including [Santa Fe Reporter Best Local BandThe Santa Fe Reporter Best Local Band. Yoje emailed on Patreon: "Greetings! After listening to the podcast almost a year, I finally got around to subscribing on Patreon - apologies it took so long. Though I noticed that with the RSS feed, I no longer get any of the podcast/album art when playing, which is especially noticeable since I listen to it regularly on my commute and my car screen shows a big generic musical note instead of the artwork! Any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Thanks again for an awesome podcast!"
Darren Mahoney commented on a Patreon post: "Would like to see more west coast Irish music content. Sean Daly (Shams), Stout pounders, Coming up three’s, Stark raving plaid, Whiskeydicks we have some great acts out here! 😁"
Charlie O'Brien emailed: "Hey Marc, My name is Charlie O'Brien, I'm a folk singer from Killarney. For the past two years I've been in Argentina researching and singing Irish trad songs printed in a rural paper in Buenos Aires in the late 1800's. Last month I released an album of these ballads "The Trackless Wild, Irish Song of the Pampa" during a Culture Ireland sponsored tour of Argentina with trad. fiddle player Aidan Connolly.
Here's a download link for the album, would be great if ye could give a song or two a spin on your podcast. I think you played songs from a previous album of mine "Hy Brasil" a few years back. beir bua,"
