How crazy is it that season 2 has basically forced me to go back to university. I’ve done more reading and critical analysis and historical research than I have in years. I bite my thumb at you, Neil (affectionate).
And as I’m sure I’m not alone in this, I’d love to see your bibliography of all of the references or reading/watch lists. I’m sure to pick up a few good ones! I’ll go first.

Bean encounters a giant prawn in an elegant restaurant, tries to earn money as a street musician, and lets all of the hot air out of auteur film director Carson Clay ( Willem Dafoe) in a Cannes Film Festival screening room are works of comic genius. Beans Holiday (HD DVD/DVD Combo) : Rowan Atkinson, Emma De Caunes, Jean Rochefort, Karel Roden, Max Baldry, Willem Dafoe, Steve Bendelack. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) wins a trip to Cannes where he unwittingly separates a young boy from his father and must help the two reunite. Bean film features moments of uproarious humor - as well as scenes that are repetitive, go on too long, and have a "seen-that-before" aura. It's slapstick in some places, parody and satire in others. This film is directed and performed in a way that's reminiscent of a silent movie most of the laughs come from the talented Atkinson's rubber face, wide eyes, and clueless behavior.
Mr Bean continues to have exactly two (2) jokes: He gets into highly improbably shenanigans predicated almost entirely upon people acting in ways no human ever would, and he is just the absolute worst. The man is a monster, and his movies keep rewarding him for that, and I hate him.
